When you read the other bad reviews about communications. I didnt know what that meant or why it deserved such terrible ratings. But what it means is they ignore you until they need something. My gas receipts were ignored. A lot of time spent working was not paid. My manager actually accused me of ghosting her after a week of her ignoring my texts. But I dont feel the one star should be 0 stars because the training program to me was pretty easy. It takes a lot of studying the first day but after that, its the sake questions over and over again. So study hard the first day and the rest are a breeze. But be prepared to get screwed on some money and be prepared to not have questions answered until they need something from you.
Avoid using Mueller if you have the option to use another valuation company. They hire anybody with little knowledge/experience about appraisals. They didn’t even come out to look at my home yet because I still can’t get an answer as to why they “NEED” to come inside when my insurance company said they do not have to. I still haven’t gotten any response from Mueller other than “somebody will be contacting me” for the past two months now.
From the day 1 of training, you are to sit in class for a few hours, your then asked to do Modules as if your in elementary school with homework, plus all the paperwork needed to be employed. Mind you thats all within 3 days, you have class, classwork, then homework everyday. Then you are thrown in the field the 4th day. TONS AND TONS OF PAPERWORK FOR INSPECTIONS w/INTERVIEWS. 40cent for every dollar you use on millage. And you will be going 2hrs in this direction then 3hrs in that direction and 2 1/2hrs in another.
Liberty Mutual notified me that they are not renewing my home owner policy because Mueller Services reported that my home is not occupied. This is 100% incorrect as all five of us have been living here for more than a year.I cannot think of anything that would suggest that my home is vacant, but now find myself needing to work with my insurance provider and my mortgage lender to get everyone calmed back down.Mueller Services is making my life much harder, and I have never even chosen to do business with them.
They send out an un-vaccinated inspector to my house. The didnt not inform me of his vaccination status until I asked. After 18 months of taken precautions to fight the pandemic, they invade my home with unvaccinated people. Do not use this company for home inspections. All insurance companies need to be made aware of this short coming. When I bought this to the companies attention, they said they have no control of whether an inspector is vaccinated or not, even though they are employed by Muller Co.
Great Place to work at. It is not for everyone, but if you like driving, do not mind the elements and dont want to be stuck in an office...this is definently an amazing option. I have been working g for Mueller for 11 years and through it all there has never been lack of work.
We switched to liberty mutual insurance and were expecting this company to come out and do an “inspection”. We were told they would call first. The call was necessary as the gates to our back yard are locked. Much to our surprise they came when we were not home. No call prior to the visit. I was alerted by the cameras on our property. Now the inspection is deemed incomplete. What a hassle! This all could have been avoided if someone would have simply done their job and called first to set up a time. Not impressed!
If there was a 0 star to give these people I would do it. Number onumber one they dont know how to treat employees Number 2 they cheat their employees pay employees pay. Is would never recommend hiring these people or working for them king for them.
The inspector claimed to have waited for me for 25 minutes but missed me. I checked my security camera and the inspector took a picture of my doorbells and left. This person never even rang the doorbell!
This is one terrible company to work for as a field rep. Low pay, and the amount of information they want on a inspection is ridiculous. Taking photos underneath every single sink, serial numbers for appliances etc. Do your self a favor and go with another company hiring loss control consultants.
I’ve worked for this company for exactly 3 years next month. I’ve never had any issues with them. I work remotely as a field inspector so I do not work in or report to any office. I only deal with my immediate manager. It’s a flexible, usually part-time job with decent pay. Yes, you use your own vehicle and sometimes drive a lot. They do reimburse you for mileage, etc. I don’t mind the driving at all, I actually enjoy it. But the managers I’ve had have been very good to work with me on the locations/ distances I travel to for inspections if something comes up or doesn’t work for me. I’ve also moved 3 times in the past 3 years, each time to a new city 1+ hours away and they have relocated me and given me work in my new city each time. You essentially schedule your own work, you just have a timeframe to have it done. You may not get the most hours or enough cases for a full time job per say. But if you average out the hours you do work and the money you make, it’s actually really good pay per hour. And again, it’s really flexible. I’ve worked it with another part time job as well as being a full time student. I honestly just all around love my job and have since I first started. As for these reviews, I hate to see that people have had some bad experiences with our inspectors. I’m sure I’ve made a couple of mistakes along the way, who doesn’t. But I am always ALWAYS courteous to the policyholder, take the time to talk to them, and report everything as accurately as possible. As an employee of this company, I can say that we may not have as much control as it appears. Without going through every fine detail, here’s a basic rundown of how it works. We are sent forms from the insurance company requesting certain items. Usually including general photos and measurements of the exterior. We are given a list of specific things we must report on. Issues such as damage to the home, unsafe conditions, dogs, etc. But each item is very specific. Very little is left up to our personal discretion or judgement. Of course not all of it is that cut and dry but for the most part, we simply photograph what they ask us to and fill out the forms with what is in front of us. For example: “Are there any stairs with more than 2 risers that do not have a handrail?” Answer is required. If yes, “What is the height of the highest riser in inches?” Say they are 48 inches high. You input 48” and are asked to provide a photo with a tape measurer from the ground to the top riser showing the height. Every item is like this. We are not told anything about the customer’s insurance policy, coverage, premium, or anything else along those lines. We simply observe, document, and report. The insurance companies have their own algorithms to which they use this reported information. All of our reports are started through a mobile app on our phone for convenience while we are at a customer’s home, and are usually finished up on a computer afterward. So we are essentially looking at our phones a lot of the time because we are filling out information as we go. We are given an extension pole in order to take photos of the roof. We are also advised on whether to call or NOT to call a policyholder. Sometimes we are specifically asked not to call, and this is generally because the insurance provider has already notified them of the inspection.I am in no way trying to defend any representative who was discourteous or unprofessional. I was honestly just surprised to see these reviews and thought I would offer my personal insight to hopefully shed some light on how the process works, as far as how much control we have over policies, as well as my experience working for the company. Although the only person I have ever physically met from Mueller was my trainer (because I work remotely), I feel in some way obligated to apologize for the experience many of you have had. I truly feel that if I had been your inspector, your experience would have been completely different and hopefully, much more positive!
Terrible company. Shady people. Called and asked them to come out when I came back home out of town. Neighbor calls me next day said confronted stranger opening closed gates and snooping around property looking in windows taking pictures . They are sneaky stalking shady people and they lie. If an insurance company uses their services I recommend You find another company
This sucks to say but really poor service,I call to get bundle for a 4 point inspection and a wild mitigation and I only got a 4 point inspection.i call to try to get them to come back and do the wild mitigation and they told me I have to pay full price. Not happy .i look them up and they have a bad reputation
They did a bifurcated appraisal on our home which was a disaster. A 3rd party came in and took awful pictures, which were then sent to the actual appraiser in a different state. The appraiser chose comps in incomparable neighborhoods, including a short sale which just sold for $80k less than it previously did 2 years ago. The appraisal came in $30k below market value, and $10k lower than our appraisal last year, which was done before we did $20k of kitchen/bath upgrades. We had to pull the plug on our refinance and go with a different lender. What a disaster!
Its hilarious they make their employees post 5 star reviews to bring them up to two stars. Tells you a lot.
ZERO STARS!Terrible, inspector left a voice mail asking to return the call and setup a time they could come out and perform a real estate inspection for my homeowners insurance company. I called the inspector and left two voice mails on two consecutive days stating when I was available (a week out) and to return my call to confirm a time.Nothing, never received a return call from the inspector. Today (two weeks later) I received another voice mail from the inspector, again to return the call and setup a time to come out and perform the inspection. I immediately called the inspector back and got her voice mail but was unable to leave a message due to the mailbox being full. After the first two attempts at contacting the inspector, I searched for reviews of Mueller Services and found nothing but negative reviews, complaints, and filings with the Better Business Bureau. And now, Ive added mine to the long list... If your insurance company, bank, mortgage broker, etc. has ordered an inspection to be performed by Mueller Services aka Mueller Reports read the reviews, complaints, and then fight tooth and nail to have another company perform the inspection.Side Note: I got my homeowners insurance company to cancel the inspection a week ago. Wondering how long it will take Mueller to get the message.
Horrible work experience. Was guaranteed 35 hours for work barley ever got 20 and i use my own car. Trained for three to four days on the computer before they sent me out in the field. Expected me to get each inspection done in less than ten minutes so it wouldnt cost them as much. Will send you back 30 miles to one house for one picture because the appraiser couldnt write it in the notes the first time. DO NOT work for them they are snakes.
A representative from Mueller Services shows up and immediately starts taking pictures of the property. Then he proceeded to walk into my back yard and took more pictures. The only way I knew he was even on the property was an alert from my security cameras. I confronted him through my video doorbell, and he explained his business for being on the property.......Not once did he ring my doorbell! Nor did I ever receive a phone call he was coming... He just show up and proceeds to trespass onto my property!Very unprofessional, and I’m very ticked off about the whole thing....
Pretty sure they only contract with insurance companies, but they botched mine. Said the roof only had 5 years left to go when my inspector and a roofing company both aged the roof 5-10 years. Resulted in a cancelled policy. Further research indicates that they use subcontractors, it would be interesting to see if they do many background checks.
Unbelievable experience. Liberty Mutual used them to inspect our home. The gentleman who came was very nice. We were getting the house painted and I dont know what we wrote but LM ended up cancelling our home insurance. They said there was major renovations on the property. I have no idea how these people live with themselves.
I am not sure how this company can stay in business like this. They say 30 days is the normal timeframe for a Mitigation Inspection. It’s already ridiculous considering other companies take 2-3 days maximum.Well, it’s been 43 days and nothing. When I call to get the status they say it’s still in quality assurance. This is certainly the worst inspection company I’ve ever dealt with. I feel so bad for my client.
I was connected with Mueller through a company for an appraisal. I used them once and will never use them ever again. The appraiser failed to mention recent renovations and made adjustments in value that were outright negligent. I spoke with them and filed some paperwork to address my concerns but they did nothing about it. I will follow up if anything changes but I discourage any other people from using their Easy Valuation product.I made the mistake of using them a a second time based on the encouragement of my lender rep. I should have known better and the appraisal was a total and complete failure. The appraisers do not even inspect the property. They get photos from somebody else. The result is the appraiser is paid peanuts for the report and there is zero incentive to do a good job. Both of my appraisals were horribly undervalue. I disputed both appraisals which was a complete waste of time.
Their field rep did an inspection. The data was entered and an appraisal was required. They did the appraisal as a manufactured home. it appraised 6 months ago as a Single Family. They wont verify what the property type is so i have to cancel the loan and resubmit it with another company and order an appraisal from a REAL APPRAISER.i have called and emailed them but they refuse to help me.
We were new homeowners and our insurance co required this inspection. We were VERY nervous about the whole process because weve never been through this before. We had a great inspector (Steve P. in RI) who was courteous, professional and very kind. He explained everything to us step-by-step. He took his time making sure all of our questions were answered or directed us to our insurance co for the questions he couldnt answer. Wed gladly have him back again!
They have created a nightmare. We decided to go with the same insurance weve had on our autos since the 1970s. The person who sold me the policy told me it was okay to go ahead and cancel my other insurance. She said theyd be out to take a few pics and as long as no big dogs or that we didnt misrepresent anything all was well. Then the inspector from hell shows up. She said our fascia was all falling apart and a hazard and that we needed a new roof. We had a contractor come out and said all we needed were some shingles repaired and the fascia was in beautiful shape. I posted pics of part of it. But what the woman did was take only a pic of the front of the overhang with that historical chippy style paint and not a true one of the wood underneath the facade. You can see on the shot of the eaves on the side to all is good. She also said we had a tree with branches on the roof. There is some oleander shrubs that brush it when the wind blows that way, but they are not beating up the roof and not a tree. But the worst part is she told the company I was not the owner living there. She never carded me. Why would she lie like that. Its disturbing these people can come and destroy your peace of mind like this not to mention report to the insurance your house is a run down shack
Provided inaccurate information to my insurance company. Stated my home was 800 SF more than it was which increased my premium and deductible. And of course the insurance company is siding with Mueller.
The mortgage company I used to refinance my mortgage used Mueller Services to do a property condition report on my home. I paid for the service using my credit card but ended up paying twice as much when an appraisal was also needed in addition to the condition report. I called Mueller Services to get an explanation and after a very long wait and a couple of rude conversations they hung up on me. The mortgage company reimbursed me for the appraisal cost at closing. The Mueller agent was very rude and inflexible as to the times he would agree to meet me at my house for the site visit. He showed up one day unannounced when I was not home, started knocking at the door and scared my children. In the end, although the housing market was still on the rise, they appraised my house for far less than it had been appraised two years prior, which caused me to require PMI. During the site visit, they took several pictures of an old sub-pump in my basement that I was in the process of replacing. The pump had only turned on one time in the 14 years I lived there during a bad storm. It still worked but it was getting old so I was replacing it. I asked the agent why he was taking so many pictures of the pump and he said it was very important but would not tell me if it would have a negative impact on the site visit.
Performed a Insurance home inspection and gave false information to the insurance company. Inspector said my roof was failing and needed replaced. Called two different roofing contractors for bids to replace he roof and both said that the roof was in excellent shape and showed no wear, as a 6 year old roof should. The inspector from the next insurance agency said the roof looked great and showed no wear. This company is a joke, if they are assigned to inspect your home refuse them. The inspector was polite but knew nothing of a buildings condition.
Went through Nationwide for homeowners insurance. This was my first home buying experience. Mueller services is some third party company that I guess does inspections for insurance agencies. The called once and I was in DC due to a recent fam ill ly death. They called the second time while I was in the hospital. They now got me dropped from nationwide because he called me 3 whole times. The mueller services guy was the rudest person I have ever talked to in my life. He didnt care about any of the issues I and my family were going through and now nationwide is losing a 2 thousand dollar a year policy. I am literally considering suing this company bc they seem like scam artist that have WAY to much power. Another monopoly company. It was an awful experience and any insurance company that uses these people should be ashamed and held accountable.
If i could give (-) stars I would. Insurance company, the Hartford, used Mueller and appraiser over estimated our home by 2,000 sq feet. How does this happen??!!!!!
This company committed FRAUD when they were hired by Liberty Mutual to inspect our home. The guy came and is just texting on his phone entire time while taking photos with a selfie stick only from the driveway. The house is built on a hill and has side steps which are CUT INTO the hill with no drop off to the sides. The town verified we didnt need a railing when we bought the place, as well as our home inspector, building inspector, banks inspector, and prior insurance company however this company advised LM that we needed our stairs replaced and a railing added. They also stated we had SEVERE moss growth on the roof and severe warping and sagging due to the water damage. NONE OF THIS IS TRUE! yet LM says they will only listen to this company regardless of the truth! so I now got fined by my mortgage lendor, plus lost my multi insurance discount, and now when trying to go back to my old carrier my rates doubled! You can clearly see from photos there is no moss growth and the roof is straight and solid no sagging or water damage. WTF how do these people live and stay open. Everyone needs to report them to the attorney generals office.
They will work you into the ground, then discard you like garbage. They run a very efficient employment machine that is designed around their high turn-over rate. After working for this company for about 2 years, I learned enough about how they operate that if my homeowners insurance company ever retained them to perform an inspection of my property Id be looking for another insurance company before I even hung up the phone...
The reviewer that said downright negligent really nailed it. Had our home appraised, and appraisal had numerous errors (laminate flooring instead of hardwood, wrong square footage (by 400 square feet!), wrong tax value, comps that were 5 miles away in a different area of town altogether. Would not fix all of the issues in the appraisal despite the fact that prior appraisals were 200k higher. Made an otherwise easy process difficult. Zero professionalism or even sanity in the whole process. Insulting, unprofessional, and quite possibly insane.
I was very disappointed with Muellers follow through and professionalism. To start, I was switching home owners insurance companies and they required an inspection be done which is standard practice. Mueller was notified on June 4th to reach out to me to schedule the inspection. They didnt contact me for a month. I had to call my new insurance company and Mueller to set up the appointment myself. By the beginning of July, I finally had a scheduled appointment with an inspector. She scheduled an appointment with me and never showed. I called her directly and she told me she didnt come because it was raining. No call to say If it rains, I wont come and will reschedule she completely shrugged off responsibility. She told me that she didnt come because she lived over 30 minutes away and it was raining. I called Mueller to complain. The woman at the customer service center for Mueller was very kind and apologetic. I requested a new inspector come out to my house. The new inspector couldnt come for about 2 weeks and told me it would take her 20 minutes inside the house and 20 minutes outside of the house. When she showed up, it took her about an hour and 30 minutes. In the end, I didnt get the results of the inspection until the beginning of August. To compare how my past inspections have gone with other insurance companies, someone walks in and out of the house for 20 minutes or less, asks a few questions, takes some pictures, etc. and then youre approved. If you choose to use an insurance company that uses Mueller to inspect, request that any other company send over an inspector.
From the outside they were WAY off on the size of our house. Tried calling the inspector (Kevin Bolte?), basically said he doesnt make mistakes not his problem. Thats fine, I will find a new insurance company.
Awful. Horrible. Inept. If I could, I would give zero stars - and even that would be too many.2 stars on Indeed, Glassdoor, Google for a reason. They treat their employees like cattle. Turnover rate is sky high. Company culture is non-existent. Management is inept. Ownership does not care about the employees. As a 10 year professional, I have never been treated so poorly in my life, by anyone - let alone by an employer.I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Just a terrible company, they couldnt value a home properly to save their lives. An appraiser on the other side of the country assigning a value to my home without being on site or knowing anything about the area. Just a terrible quality product through and through. If at all possible, AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH!!
If you want your loan to close DO NOT use this company in lieu of an appraisal. They are horrible to work with and have frequent delays. The appraised values are extremely low compared to normal appraisals. They DO NOT deliver your appraisal within 48 hours of the waiver not getting accepted. I wish I would’ve read some reviews before using them. I’ve used them 8 times so far and only gotten the waiver on 3 deals. The others came in late with values at least 30k under where they should’ve been.
My insurance company uses this outfit to estimate replacement cost of houses. They came to my house while we were gone and took pictures of the exterior. I know they have never been inside my house. They gave the insurance company a detailed description of the inside of my house. It was all wrong! I gave the insurance company correct info and they insisted on using Muellers incorrect info and increased my premium. That is extortion! Insurance companies should read the reviews before hiring an inept company like this.
Do Not work for them. They find reasons not to pay you. Make you work for free
I was looking for a job closer to home and received a call from this company and was offered a job, This company mislead me into leaving my full time job that paid my bills, I spent a week away from my family with hopes and dreams of starting a new career...the field trainer told me I was doing great yet at the end of training which was on a Thursdays ( my room was paid for till Friday) when I got back to my room the motel called me and told me I needed to check out asap??? Suspicious right. Then once back at home the next day I received an email Mueller that they had decided not to continue my employment!! This was wrong! These people misled me and turned my life upside down. How do I make my house payment now. How do I take care of my family?!?!.
Liberty Mutual uses this company for inspections - we have a long driveway and looked out to see someone walking around my driveway and staring at the house. Needless to say I confronted him. Who thinks that they can just drive into your yard and walk around without introducing themselves and presenting credentials? He finally found an old card somewhere in his car. Ridiculous.
In August 2018 we decided to switch home insurance companies. When we first bought our house in 2010, we didnt know much about home insurance, we went with the small ma & pa with the cheapest rates. With a growing family, we decided to look at other options. Our auto insurance was with State Farm for 5 years. They were the first company we went to. They had great coverage for not much more than what we were already paying. The agent explained that we would need a 4 point inspection on our home. We didnt bat an eye. We are responsible people that maintain our property (home, auto, etc.). The State Farm agent recommended Mueller for $60. Inspector came out, walked all around our home just taking pictures. When the report came back, there were 4 notes. First note was a missing plate in our electrical panel. No biggie...quick and cheap fix...not sure how it passed the home inspection when we originally bought our home, nonetheless it wasnt a big deal. Second note was a drip pan needed under our water heater. Our water heater is located in our garage, almost 3 feet below our house floor. I work for a plumbing company and they laughed at me when I asked if they could come install a drip pan. They explained that it is not required by Florida code. Third note was to paint the caulking that was used to seal the stair step cracks. Not the biggest deal breaker, but we didnt have the original paint color. We tried to use the color match at Lowes and it came out darker than the original. Fourth note was there was lifted and worn shingles on our roof. Our home was built in 2004; so, it has 14 years of age. My husband got on the roof and there were a few shingles that had a little bit of debris under them. The shingles laid flat after the debris was removed. What we found odd was that a four point inspection is to include the roof. The inspector didnt step a foot on our roof...just took pictures from the ground. So, State Farm requested that we hire a licensed roofer to come inspect our roof. My husband made some phone calls and the inspection cost ranged from $125-$150. We hired Quality Service Roofing to come inspect our roof. We explained the situation, he inspected, made his report and noted that our shingles have 2-3 years of life. Knowing that we have 25 year shingles and our home is only 14 years old, I couldnt believe what he just did to us. We are at the mercy of this roofer to be honest. So, I called out another company for another opinion. He said that these shingles were 25 year shingles, and there was still 7-10 years of life. Considering we already paid and submitted the report from the previous roofer due to a short time submission requirement by State Farm, we were then told by State Farm that we would need to sign a contract with a roofer to replace our roof within one year. The quote we received was $10k. This is absurd. Spending $10k on a roof that still has 7-10 years of life on it. I also found it absurd that State Farm requested an inspection from a licensed roofer and both roofing companies that came out...it was an employee of the licensed roofer...not the licensed roofer himself. Because we didnt move forward with the contract, State Farm cancelled our policy.
Changed insurance companies, In TX, was notified that a inspection would occur within a month. Of all days for (Mueller) to come to come out to perform the inspection, was the same day an incident occurred with a Beer Truck that tore down all utility services to my home. What Mueller reported back to the Insurance was unfavorable physical condition of the property, in lieu of the electric service severing power to my home for safety precautions and tagging the meter. Regardless of the strewn cables across my yard he/she had to cross to take photos of my trees,I am perplexed of the level of ignorance our country has generated. Their report has created a mound of issues ongoing that I must clear up- no accountability will they afford. Rating -10
Took 4 pictures of the outside of my recently purchased house and created a report to send to my insurance company. Report stated multiple issues that dont exist and are completely contradicted by my home inspection and anyone who knows even the slightest bit about home construction. If you have any control at all dont let them anywhere near your house.
Only giving this company 1-star because I don’t have the option to leave a review with 0 stars. Worked for this company for just about a year now and was more than glad to finally move on with my life!Just a heads up if your thinking of working for them. You will spend massive amounts of time driving around with your OWN VEHICLE. Putting THOUSANDS of miles on your vehicle as well. They reimburse for mileage, but honestly it’s a joke and doesn’t pencil out if your run the numbers. If you’re looking to work for an employer who will take advantage of you and use you for your assets. Then this will is definitely the right job for you. 👍🏽
I was phoned by the so called professional (Jeff Cerra), and informed that he was to make an outside inspection of my home. I asked if I needed to be there, he emphatically said no. I further explained about my dogs being excited and I did not want him to approach the front door. Additional considerations about people in the home were not relevant, nor requested. He was very clear that this was just a few pictures and measurements. The very unprofessional representative not only went to the door, rang the bell disturbing not only my pets but my spouse who was quite frightened by the entire experience. He did not ask about residents, he took it on himself, after assuring me its like a 5-10 minute process for your insurance company.A lie of omission is a lie nonetheless. Do not engage this company, they cannot be trusted to deliver what they say. I would never allow the approach to the front door in my absence. When I called him to complain he was flippant and displayed an attitude of ...I could care less..If they cant tell the truth about a simple inspection and report, what ELSE goes on when you are not there???????
This company is an absolute joke. They told my insurance company that my roof has significant damage. It has 5 slightly curled shingles. The roof is less than 10yrs old! Now Im stuck in an arguing match with Liberty Mutual to convince them that curling shingles is not a cause for a total replacement. Ill make sure to ask whos doing the inspection the next time I shop for insurance.
Horrible employment, would give no stars if possible- must provide your own phone & use your personal number to make calls to their customers- must provide your own computer- must provide your own transportation & repairs- 2/3 of your finished cases will be rejected and sent back to you & if theyre sent back then you dont get paid until theyre officially confirmed.- quick turnover rate.*Less than 2 stars reviews on Google, GlassDoor, and Indeed **This company is a scam that will hire you, store your personal info, and then let you go on a dimes notice**Trainer was talking about sexual matters as well as his religion*---aftrr reporting this trainer I was terminated
Horrible company to work for. Stay far away from these snakes
Treat employees very badly and no matter how long you work there (6 years) you are always expendable. They found someone who would work for the lowest possible salary allowed and then let me go.
I applied here, once they say no experience required..but expect you to have experience. Dont waste ur time.
Horrible, disgusting employees. I had a woman named Lisa come and perform an interior inspection of our home. She arrived 20 minutes late, and I had a meeting starting for work shortly. She banged on the front door, and when I didnt answer in time came to the back deck, knocking on the windows and peering inside the house. I told her our child was just diagnosed with chromosomal abnormalities and we are going through serious health issues, and she didnt bat an eyelash and told me she was going to close out our insurance. Disgusting person, horrible company.
Didnt not show up on time for my inspection. I am considering cancelling my insurance. Apparently they are the only company that USAA uses in New York state.
Inspected my house and gave false information to my insurance company. I rectified issue with insurance company. I would suggest they actual do an inspection before giving false information. I recommend not using there services.
Provided an inaccurate appraisal of my home for the bank and never even came to my property. From New York they have no idea of the market in Florida, what a scam.
Pathetic. The consultants that cant make it in the real world do this kind of work. Unfortunately, Safeco Insurance relies on their professional opinion after they do a 30-MPH drive-by of your property because they are lazy. They gave a dishonest & misinformed report of a property we own. Ive proven otherwise but since its in writing my insurance is set for cancel. The Safeco underwriter is not willing to lift a finger to help with these fools involved. Just a joke all around.
If your are looking for work keep looking! They will stab you in back without warring!
Allstate hired this company to perform a photo inspection of the outside of my house. The first guy who showed up put the camera on a pole and started to take pictures in my daughters bedroom window. I told him to leave and never come back. Today another guy shows up unannounced also with a pole for his camera. I have to get a little nastier with him to get him to leave. I have terminated my policy with Allstate over this company. Nobody has the right to harass and intimidate my family like that. The only reason I give them one star is because this review will not post without a star.
Recently had Mueller inspector out to do exterior home inspection at the request of MetLife after we filed a claim for a 60 pine tree that fell in our yard in March. MetLife wanted to see what other risk exposures were present which prompted the inspection. We requested to be present at the time of inspection so we could do a walk through and understand the process. After all, it is our home, our property. Inspector showed up unannounced with no appointment and my son who was visiting from out of state walked through the property with him. The photographs he provided MetLife were in vivid color except for the roof. They were in black and white and completely blurred. The design of the shingles were not consistent with mine. My roof from the back of the house is barely visible from any point in the back yard and yet the photograph of the back roof was a close up of a full roof. I compared the photos to stock photos on the internet. He actually used internet pictures of bad roofing and submitted them to MetLife! Today I questioned the inspector about the use of Google photos of my home from 15 years ago. We have since replaced all our windows and the roof is less than 5 years old. I also asked him if he got on the roof to take photos. I knew he did not as my son was present. He said he used a selfie stick which was not true...again my son witnessed his entire inspection. He began yelling at me and said it is not his fault that I have issues with my home. I told him the only issue is that he used fraudulent photos against me which now has jeopardized my home owners insurance renewal. He hung up on me.
They should be ashamed of the service they provide!
Former employee of this company..I started working for mueller in march 2017 till 5/31/17. The training for quality assurance position is absolutely terrible essentially they have you sit in front of a computer for a week sink or swim. This is the first job I took to get out of the collections field i was explained during the interview that if an employee was having issue they would try to work with you.. On may 30th my manager Xavier Hunter had me complete a training session on areas that I need to improve on, later that day I received an email from xavier to take wendsday off since there was no cases for us to complete. Wensday 5/31/17 I receive a call from Kayla Davidson saying my empoyment has been terminated, I asked for an explanation she said since new york is an at will state she is not required to tell me. I didnt mind the job at all, its troubling to me Im the soul support of my wife - stay at home mom, and my 2 children. Any other job goes through a series of processes prior to any termination being completed. Its sad that I was never given even the slightest hint that I was being termed.
Gave inaccurate information to my insurance company causing in cancellation of policy. I tried to dispute since the distribution was not my property at all. Insurance company sided with the inspection report. I have no desire to work with a company who subcontracts an inspection company with such poor work ethics.
Because of these idiots, I have to spend time calling my insurance company to fix FALSE and OMITTED information causing them to cancel my policy. These people are completely incompetent and it has been a battle since the beginning. I have 4 houses and am constantly fixing their mistakes.
Terrible Experience. Was supposed to have someone come to my house for my new insurance, she never showed up. I called and she totally forgot. Rescheduled, she showed up 25 minutes late and never apologized or anything. Terribly unprofessional.
Horrible company. Hired by my homeowners insurance to check out the house. Reports back that we had two ferocious Akitas. We have 1 dog, a black lab /border collie mix, and my stepson was over with his dog at the time, a Brindle Pitbull. While big barkers when these two get together, tails are wagging. And even though we were in contract to get the house roofed and sided, their secondary reason was peeling paint on our porch pillar. I feel there help was totally unqualified. With todays technology and everyone with there nose in a smartphone seems he could have investigated the dogs further OR hey heres an idea, knock on the door and see what the deal is.
I specifically called Mueller and asked that no one walk my property while I was not there. I received a property inspection report with pictures showing that the inspector walked my entire property. THIS IS TRESPASSING!! They DO NOT have a right of way to access the property without the owners permission!
Easy work, low pay, good chance of promotion of you work well.
Awful company, every good review here is probably fake.
I work for them for almost a year, things changed from month to month. They laid people off saying that there was not enough work for them, then would hire new people because we had too much work...
Someone came out to inspect my house for homeowners insurance. Theres a section of my roof thats flat that has modified bitumen roofing. The inspector said that the roof was missing shingles. The insurance company is canceling my policy. Based on this experience and reading the reviews from others, these people are idiots.
Messed up our insurance policy. Inspector was a real jerk.
Shite company to work for, inept management and they encourage you to provide false information to insurance companies
Inaccurately reported information to my insurance company.
This company is absolutely horrible. I have left numerous messages and my insurance company has terminated my homeowners policy because this company has canceled all of my appointments. Beyond frustrated. Still cannot get a hold of them.
Fabulous company with very professional staff
Had a gentleman show up while my wife and child is inside and he just started to walk around our house and take pictures never announced himself and ignored the signs that say NO TRESSPASSING so we approached him and didnt know who hired him but After 15 minutes of arguing he gave a card with Mueller on it and a number I called and it was being done for a home owners insurance company which is very in professional to show up with out notice and trespass with signs telling not too I will not and would not recommend this company to anyone and will be calling my new insurance company about this very very unprofessional
Worst company ever....ready to take legal action for grossly misrepresenting conditions on my house.do not use this company
Gave false information to my insurance company.... twice! In the future, I will be asking what service my insurance company uses. If they choose this service, I will be choosing another insurance company.
