I just had Service Pro (Sam) install a new furnace and air conditioner in my home. The original lasted 28 years and it was time for the investment. I did a lot of research and got multiple estimates and Service Pro was by far the best all around…..I’m so happy with my choice and would HIGHLY recommend them. It was so reassuring to know that Sam gives you the estimate and does all the work. The other companies sent salesmen and I wondered if they had ever installed a furnace or AC before. I woke up to no heat in the house on Saturday morning. Sam came out by 10am and checked out my boiler. With over 30 years of experience he was able to diagnose the problem in 5 minutes. He also found that the circulating pump was barely moving water. It was so nice to have someone explain the situation and actually show me what was happening. So Sam installed a new pump and igniter for the boiler and had things running in a few hours. He was super professional and broke down parts and labor costs upfront. He also gave me advice on what annual maintenance I should be doing on my system. I will definitely be calling Service Pro again!

My first time calling Service Pro and I was very happy with the experience. When my furnace began to have an issue with a worn out inducer motor and stopped working overnight, they came out promptly and replaced the part. Not only that, but they charged me less than half of what one of the other big HVAC companies in the area had quoted me for the same exact part. I respect their honesty and would recommend highly to others.

I called Sam at ServicePro at 5:30pm on Wednesday night to come and assess my furnace, as I thought it may have a carbon monoxide leak, and he was there within the hour, confirming my suspicion. After weighing the cost of repairing my 18 year old furnace against a new one, decided to buy new, and Sam was there by 9am Thursday with the furnace ready to install. Worked quickly and professionally, had it hooked up with some custom metalwork to make it fit perfectly into the existing space, and had my AC all connected back again to the new unit. Had our AC quit on us early in the morning on one of the hottest days on record. Sam and another gentleman made it out same day and quickly addressed the issue of a blown capacitor and repaired in under 30 minutes. Per our agreement to replace my home’s furnace, Sam and his assistant Shawn, showed up early morning and ready to work with all the required tools of the trade, pipes, ducts and the new furnace. There were serious limitations in the availability of furnaces due to COVID. Sam searched for a suitable furnace and kept us informed throughout the process. No Hot Water?Super Sam from Service Pro to the Rescue!There I was staying at my Aunt’s house with no hot water for a week. Trying desperately to get the hot water tank covered under warranty since it was only two months past the six-year warranty period. In the meantime, I washed dishes like it was done during the Stone Age with ice cold water. I really got an understanding of people who needed to take their clothes to the laundry mat or who had to bathe at a family or friends house. I had taken for granted the abundance of hot running water and subsequently learned through deprivation to appreciate simple things like hot water.I called Sam at Service Pro Heating and Cooling and explained my dilemma concerning the warranty. He immediately contacted the manufacturer, Bradford White tanks and negotiated a fair settlement for the old unit. Nevertheless, Sam dropped everything he was doing and squeezed me in spite of being swamped with a ton of other work.Sam took out the old water tank, meticulously soldered the copper pipes and changed the gas shut off valve. During that process Sam found the valve was plugged with debris and partially blocking the flow of natural gas into the unit which would have affected the functionality and energy efficiency of the tank.Sam also noticed many of the gas pipes hanging from the ceiling were loose and wobbling which could cause an unsafe condition. He immediately clamped all the loose gas pipes to make them safe and secure. Sam tested all the gas lines in the house to make sure there were no leaking pipes. The final thing he did was install an all in one unit, smoke & fire, carbon monoxide and natural gas smart alarm! Finally, I got hot water and oh boy, I appreciated doing my dishes, laundry and bathing in hot water!Whenever anyone is experiencing an inconvenience like I had, I highly recommend Super Sam Service Pro for all your heating, cooling and hot water tank problems. Sam came out at night, which I didn’t expect. Got to the bottom of our furnace issue, basically gave us a new furnace, by replacing necessary components. Reasonably priced, and the guy is just out working, that’s all. Highly recommend Sam and Service Peo.

Called Service Pro when our furnace blower died. Sam answered himself (owner), came out promptly and found that not only was the blower shot but that the previous furnace guy failed to line the chimney where the furnace vented, causing deterioration of the inside of the chimney! It was completely filled with debris causing carbon monoxide to fill the basement every time we ran the furnace! I had a buddy who died from the exact same thing. We could have been next and the only reason we did not is because we burn firewood to heat the house (mostly) in winter. Not only did Sam save our lives, he did not try to upsell us anything that we did not need, and when he showed me what was going on and the reality of what could have happened, Sam certainly could have taken advantage and did not.Honest, prompt, neat, quick, efficient and No BS.As far as we are concerned, Sam and Service Pro are the only Furnace repair company you need.

Came at 5pm Saturday, suggested a repair to a/c unit. Repair did not work, came back on Sunday and checked unit and further repairs were needed. Returned my check to me. Recommended new unit at a good price. Came on Monday with his partner and installation was done by 4pm. And he repaired by furnace vent pipe at no charge, he noticed it was needed upon inspection. Sam will be my HVAC guy going forward. Cleaned up thoroughly and unit looks great!

Just moved into a new house and turned the AC unit on for the first time 2 weeks ago and it didn’t seem to be cooling the house whatsoever. Was referred to these guys and thank god we were. One recent cold Sunday I turned on my furnace only to find out it was blowing cold air. I called several heating companies and all of them said they were too busy and couldn’t come over to check my unit until Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. I had a Furnace and Hot Water tank installed 1/28/2019, I wanted to give an honest review so I made sure to post this review after having the systems in my home for a few months. WOW. Used them before they were great! This time individual tried to upcharge my wife! Tried to charge $600 to change a valve. This is a man who tried to take advantage of a woman while her husband wasnt home. Also tried to have us pay in cash. As stated previously they were great first time. But unfortunately for us 2nd time wasnt a good experience. These blogs are for people to voice there experience with service. Good or bad. I will add he did adjust price to a better rate when I called him. So on that end he did make it right. But will not use them in future.

Our air conditioner broke over the weekend so we call on Monday to see what we would need to do to get it repaired. He said he could come out the next day. That right off the bat was impressive. He came on time and was able to find the problem within 10 minutes. He explained what was going on and how he was going to fix it. I didnt feel pressured to do anything. He was very nice and honest. He was able to fix the problem same day and now our house is nice and cool for the summer. We will definitely be using this service as needed in the future. Totally satisfied! My tenants lost heat 2 days ago and my home warranty company could not find anyone to go and repair! I finally had to get outside help. I found a bend on the supply line of my AC unit. A friend recommended Sam. I called Sam and he was in the area and he was at my house in 15 minutes. Sam was very professional. After checking the line he determined the bend was okay and checked the AC unit to ensure it was working properly. Just nice to know there are honest people like Sam who care for the customer.

The blower on my furnace went and they were able to fit me in very quickly. Sam completed the work promptly and efficiently and gave me recommendations on what I could do with my older furnace and also what would be best in the future as far as buying a new unit. I will definitely be calling again when the time comes.2021 update: Service Pro came out and replaced two furnaces in our duplex in a short time window. It was very cold out and they were able to come out on a Saturday and have a plan for Monday. The new furnaces look great and the custom duct work really helps the efficiency as well.

Our air conditioner froze during the heat wave. Called Service Pro and they came out the same day and diagnosed the problem. Sam came bright and early the next morning and fixed the problem. Highly recommend this company.

Came home from vacation on Saturday to no heat. Called a local company to come look at our furnace. They tried to tell us we needed a new gas valve and possibly a control board, both of which would be over $600 apiece. They didnt have the parts at the time to fix it. So they said we would have to wait until Monday, just to order the parts, then wait for them to come in. That would mean sitting in a 42 degree house for at least 4 days. No way, unacceptable. Then they tried to recommend replacing the whole furnace because of age, and cost of future repairs. Are you fn kidding me? I said hell no, we need this repaired now, just fix the problem. They still charged us $100 for showing up, and not fixing anything, also misdiagnosing the actual problem.I called Service Pro the next morning. Sam showed up within an hour. Diagnosed the actual problem, which happened to be a faulty solenoid valve on the humidifier, which was causing the fuse to blow. Nothing even related, to what the other company tried to tell me. Even better he was in and out in a half hour, and charged us a very reasonable price. Only $150! No new gas valve, no new control board, no new furnace needed. That other company needs to get a clue, the service tech was way off! Just trying to sell a bunch of stuff that I dont need. I would highly recommend Service Pro, and would use them again.

We had a leak in the tubing on our furnace. They came out to check it out and were right on time. He fixed the issue quickly and completely and even gave the rest of the furnace an inspection. There is a better solution to our tubing and he informed me of my options to consider but at no time did I feel I was being pressured into buying something that wasnt necessary. Great experience.

Our furnace was making a loud banging noise Sunday morning, I called several places no one could look at it till Monday. I left a message and Sam got back to me fairly quick and he was at my house an hour and a half later. He determined that we needed a motor and blower, after he tried several places it was determined (due to age of furnace) that he could not get the parts needed. He quoted us a great price for a new furnace and was back at our house Monday morning to install it. Sam came to replace a motor for my furnace. He fit me in during a very busy time sandwiched between other emergency calls. I was charged half of what I was originally quoted. He was in and out in under an hour as I had to get to work. I would highly recommend Service Pro Heating.

I have used them since 2004. He was the only honest person after the October storm when someone tried selling me a new hot eater tank. He cleaned it and it lasted another 11 years! When Sam was out of town last week, he sent Andy to me within the hour. Not only did he have us back in hot water that day, but he fixed my laundry tub faucets that I had avoided using. Last year my air conditioner stopped blowing cool air. I called Service Pro and they filled it up with freon. When it ran out again very quickly, they came out again and filled it for free. Wasnt worth fixing a big leak in such an old unit. So, this season, after getting multiple estimates, we went with them to install a new unit. They gave a great price that included everything, included new thermostat. The price for the Lennox was MUCH less expensive than the other estimates. On the day of installation, not only were they there on time, they were early! They spent many hours making sure everything was done properly. They were very professional and courteous. They made sure we knew what was going on and went over everything with us after it was completed. The warranty is 10 years, too! From past experience with them, Im confident they will service any issues timely and with the professionalism weve already encountered. The unit is quiet and is running well (thankfully, as its very hot and humid now). I also like the fact that it is a family-run, local business and not a mega-corporate-type operation. They respond quickly to calls and questions and are very easy to work with. I am very happy we had them install our new air conditioner, as opposed to the many other options out there. You cannot go wrong with calling Service Pro for any cooling or heating issues.....big or small!

This evening my tenants called around 7:00 pm stating the heater had stopped working. After attempting to contact emergency repair technicians from several other companies I left a message on the ServicePro emergency contact. In less than 10 minutes Sam returned my phone call and was on site within 45 minutes. He provided me a detailed assessment of the issues and estimate for repairs. Sam, the owner of Service Pro, did an outstanding job of installing a new energy efficient Payne furnace, air cleaner and humidifier, and a ernergy efficient 3/4 ton Payne AC Unit in my Town of Tonawanda home. The furnace was installed in February 2018, and the AC unit was installed in May 2018, because it had to be installed when the back yard was dry. Sams workers cleaned up my basement after installing the furnace. Sam gave me clear instructions for registering my new furnace and AC unit.With the new furnace my heating costs were reduced by 25 percent.Importantly Sams price was $2,400 less than the other 2 heating companies that bid on my job. My heat went out in the evening in 18-degree weather. I called ServicePro and the technician arrived in 45 minutes. He was efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, and even kind to my pets. The furnace was fixed in no time and he even followed up to be sure everything was satisfactory (and it is!). The charges were reasonable, as well. I wouldnt hesitate to call them again for service, emergency or not, and will be recommending them to anyone looking for heating and cooling service.

I used Service Pro Heating today to repair my old boiler unit. It was snowing and traveling was quit difficult but my technician, Sam was right on time. I could not greet him so I sent my adult son to handle the duties of showing him the unit and what was to be done in my basement. About an hour into the call, my son came to tell me how good Sam was and how he really seemed to know what he was doing. Needless to say, Sam impressed my son and was very concerned with making sure we got our heat turned back on as the utility company had turned it off earlier in the day. Sam even called us a couple of hours after he had left to make sure we were up and still running well. I could not be more impressed as this was a real stormy day and we were in for a foot of snow tonight. Thank you for your excellent work and excellent customer service.
