I had new hardwood flooring installed in my two bedrooms. After installation I realized thats when walking in the wood floor it felt gritty and dirty. I washed it multiple times to get rid of that feeling but nothing helped. Later I noticed it was unlocking and coming apart at the seams. I took pictures and called customer care and spoke with Diane. She was less than helpful and very unpleasant. She insisted that I hire and pay for out of my own pocket a third party company to come inspect it. That did not work for me, I wanted the company (Ll flooring) to come look at and see what the problem with it is or pay for the third party company themselves. Diane said the best she could do is $160 credit which is nothing compared to what I spent and what I still needed to spend to finish my home. The product given to me was not the product in the showroom. Horrible quality. I would NOT recommend using this company
Great place to buy all your flooring the prices are very good and the staff is Very knowledgeable
Lumber Liquidators just installed flooring in my kitchen, den, living room, dining room and hallway, and they have done a superb job, from start to finish. Tony, my sales associate in the store, was so helpful, professional and efficient. Adriano and his crew, the installers, worked 12 hours straight, to make sure my floors were finished in one day, and their work is excellent! I highly recommend this store, the employees and installers. Its really great when you get fabulous customer service!! Thank you!!
On May 9 I purchased my wood floors, labor, install and carpet removal from lumber liquidators. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! Please continue reading and heed my warning. After the payment, a third party company (who is also getting a terrible review) came to inspect and measure the floors. The guy who came spoke English with a heavy accent. I asked him if he did good work and he said yes. On June 9th the third party company came to install the floors. The original man who came was not present to install the floors and he did not tell me that! Instead a very young boy (younger than 16 years) and a man who spoke no English came to install the floors. The boy would bring in the boxes to the man and slam them on the floor. The job was done and after I noticed several cracked, splintered and damaged planks were installed. There were also several gaps in between planks. Also they put back my dish washer crooked and sticking out. They also broke the handle. I called lumber liquidators immediately and they said the 3rd party company would call me to repair. The guy no call, no showed 3 times. I then decided to go to lumber liquidators myself and finally he came back to make the repairs. He proceeded to putty all the damages. After I realized what he was doing I told him that was not the solution to fixing all 50+ planks that were damaged. That was a crappy bandaid and I did not pay for that! He then told me it would have to be removed and glued down and he didn’t really want to do that. So he left. I called lumber liquidators and they told me to call the customer service line and opened a claim because there was nothing more they could do. They were very quick to take my money but not at all quick or interested in resolving the issue. The customer service line originally tried to send the same company back out to fix the job they butchered. I said no because this guy didn’t want to fix the floors properly and he seemed very unwilling and unmotivated. Who wants someone like that working on thousands of dollars of floors. They then proceeded to send another company to inspect the damages. This company then told me that in order to properly fix the floors they would need to be ripped out and reinstalled. Dave, the rep at lumber liquidators offered to fix only 25 of the 50+ planks by ripping each one out, cutting the plank to remove the extra wood and gluing them down. I paid for my wood floors to be nailed down. Not glued. If I wanted glued floors I would have bought laminates or other floors. I told him that wasn’t an option for me and he told me that was all he was willing to do. If I couldn’t accept then we would close the case. IM SORRY BUT WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT? Or taking care of a customer properly? TAKE MY ADVICE, do not ever use this company. You will lose countless dollars, hours of your time and leave with gray hairs and crappy floors. 5k and I have cracks, chips, holes and spaces in my floors. It’s is now September 9 (three months after the install) and my floors are a mess. The 1st photo is showing how they ruined my molding. That is a lose piece they left floating. Second picture shows one of many holes throughout my floors. 3rd shows one of several exposed raw wood from improper installation. 4th shows one of several gaps in between planks (you can fit two credit cards in there) and the 5th shows one of several areas where the guy began to putty the gaps and holes.
I returned some product and never got refunded.
LOVE!!!!!After a bad experience at Avalon- we went to lumber liquidators. Anthony, Vincent, and Bob were all so wonderful! Very helpful. Explained everything, new their products inside and out. Put up with me ordering tons of samples! They wanted to make sure I was happy and were pressure free. We actually purchased a floor that we only saw online and it was so new they did not have samples. Anthony explained it so well. We went on a prayer and just ordered it. We LOVE it!!!!!!! we trusted them enough to do that! I just cant say enough how nice they are. Definitely will recommend!!!!
Everyone is nice and friendly until you have a problem, then you are ignored and treated with total disrespect. Been waiting 2 months for someone to even come look at my floor problem 2MONTHS. numerous phone calls, their installer adriano twice told me he was coming over, never showed never called. Still waiting. Do yourself a favor shop somewhere else
The customer service was exceptional. Vinny the store manager was so helpful and courteous. The floor looks beautiful, I would highly recommend using this store
The store in Toms river nj. Employees are extremely rude. And disrespectful. Asked for their names and manager refused to give their names. They dropped my pallet load of flooring in parking lot refused to help me load 900 sqft yelled at me because of their mistake. Then one employee threatened me to the point I was going to call the police. Dont visit that store find another one.
In July 2020, we got an earful from a rude employee for A) Buying too much flooring; B) Returning the overage on a hot day; when C) He was alone. We did not respond to his rudeness but we are reluctant to go there again. Lessons are needed in the area of common courtesy to someone who paid nearly $10K for solid wood flooring. From reading the other reviews, we hope that person has finally been dealt with.
I just completed my kitchen renovation and it looks great! We are very pleased with the finished product and service received. Overall, the entire process was a success. In particular, I would like to recognize the efforts of Nate Berger who was well educated on the product and was of great value when designing the kitchen. This was a very big job and he was a consummate professional when coordinating the design, modifications, additions, and limited returns. He provided a WOW customer experience
Brought the room dimensions and got a rough estimate on cost. Now just waiting for the Bella Wood sale
