The worst run office I have ever seen. Two months calling constantly, being on hold for over an hour, just to get a simple form filled out for my mother to get hearing aids. I also constantly have to call for her insulin. Absolutely horrendous. Do NOT go to this office unless you like wasting your time. The physician assistant is courteous and knowledgeable but to get anything from the office is impossible.
I rate OHI Lakewood Office & Dr. Tanner a negative five stars. Dr. Tanner is by far the rudest, most unprofessional, incompetent excuse of a doctor Ive ever encountered. Pediatric nursing needs a major overhaul. Please do yourself & your family a favor & another facility asap.

I just came from OHI & I was very impressed with the staff...I was taken care of immediately as I walked in the door, the young lady at the desk answered all my questions & I was called in within 10 mins...I met my nurse, who was lovely, professional & patient & then Sally Leeds came into examine me...she was kind, patient & listened to what I was there for & gave me the most THOROUGH exam Ive had in ages... I am quite happy & feel much better about my new dr...thank you Sally & staff at OHI
Most of the time you cant get them on the phone. But all the staff in the Toms River office are awesome.
Absolute horrible experience. Waited forever for my appointment only to find out I wasn’t seeing my doctor and seeing Dr. Sally Leeds instead. I was already exhausted and upset from waiting so long for my appointment and the fact that I left work early to be there so I could get to another appointment later that day which I ended up having to cancel because of the long wait. Dr. Sally Leeds does not want hear anything you have to say and does not care about how you’re feeling or your progress. I hope to never have to deal with her ever again. I felt very disrespected and everything I was trying to explain to her fell on deaf ears. Dr. Leeds told me I could reschedule with my regular doctor since she could tell I was very upset with how she was treating me. When I left the room to go make the appointment the reception staff was gone for the day which only made me more upset. Just go anywhere else if you can.
I’ve given this place a chance after chance. 3 times in a row where I do not get a call about my results. I give them a week before I call myself for them and I kid you not, they have already signed off on results yet no call or post on patient portal. I recently saw TABASSUM A SABZWARI and let me tell you that I have never felt so uncomfortable, insecure and judged by any physician in my life. I do not say this meaning that a doctor should “baby you”, “comfort you” nor “support you”. I say this meaning that if they notice you are nervous, worried or uncomfortable ESPECIALLY when you voice how you are feeling, they DON’T make it worse. Not trying to be a Karen and I very rarely review places/doctors & etc, but as a female I felt that if anyone was looking for reviews or guidance, just don’t go this miserable person. Seek another doctor.
I havent been in for a checkup in a year but my new pediatrician and the nurse who helped with the checkup was absolutely phenomenal, kind, and very helpful. The guy at the front desk was also helpful. Thank you.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Honestly, this has to be thee WORST ob/gyn that I’ve ever had. I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences at Ocean Health Initiatives. I really would NOT recommend this gyn for any woman. They NEVER answer the phone and you’re always number 30, 31 or higher in the call cue. They take FOREVER to fax scripts, records etc. I signed a release form for them to release my records to a new gyn because they’re so terrible; I got to my appointment only to be told that my records had not been faxed to them, so the new Dr. couldn’t go over what I had been there for. Jessica isn’t efficient at all and schedules surgeries without knowing if you have taken all the necessary procedures needed to schedule. Because of this they canceled my surgery after she booked it and rescheduled only to cancel again because I didn’t have the work needed because she failed to tell me what I needed, nor did she check to see what I needed or had done prior to scheduling. This interfered with my personal life big time; having to move with my surgery dates kept being pushed back around the same time was absolutely and truly frustrating. After finding out what I needed done prior to surgery on my own, I spoke with Jessica and she told me that she wasn’t aware and NEVER apologized. This review is intended to bring awareness to how inefficiently they are operating. I would get repeat calls two days in a row about the same thing because the staff are unaware of whats going on. I spent a long time waiting for a script from one doctor that they had to end up sending the request to another dr for a response. I was told by one Dr. Sabzwari that I needed another ultrasound prior to surgery because it’s been a long time since my initial ultrasound, only to be told by Dr. Shah that I didn’t need one when in fact I did because I had new changes in the second one when the results came back. I’ve always felt unheard during my visits, and was always left feeling totally uninformed because the doctors don’t give you a clear understanding. My questions always remained unanswered or met with vague responses. If you want efficiency, thorough understanding, and to be treated with genuine care go somewhere else.

Hands down worst doctors office ever.Takes a minimum of 2 hours to get someone on the phone. They also schedule appointments and dont bring you in until an hour after said time.Ive had nothing but terrible experiences with this doctor from adult medicine to obgyn.

I was not satisfied at all, from todays visit, the doctor did not give me a single answer to anything, I have a lot of problem and she was not giving any answer.

The Staff is Extremely polite. I see Eduardo the Nutritionist here. I have also seen him in the freehold, manchester and brick offices of OHI. He is patient, understanding and knowledgable. We are working on a number of my food issues and underlying health problems, not just food, but a proper well-balanced diet geared specifically for my needs.
I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was nice, professional, caring and made me feel really comfortable. I’m really surprised at all the negative comments. Wait time is to be expected when you go to a place that takes everyone, even if they just walk in. I actually went straight up to the counter and was greeted right away. The nice lady started taking my info without any wait at all. I was in and out as a new patient in about an hour and twenty minutes...and they did a lot in the visit. The facility is really beautiful and clean and even the security greet you and wish you a good day as you leave the door. I was so pleasantly surprised. I’m glad I wasn’t deterred by the negative comments and I’m glad my friend recommendation this place.
If you value your health do not request Sally LEEDS to advocate for you as your primary physician. She will not listen to you. She will place her own interests against the needs of her patient’s health. She is not updated on women’s health. I would caution anyone to add her to their intimate list of health providers. My other MD’s/surgical liaisons all told me I definitely would benefit from changing PCP’s. Sally Leeds is a disgusting wrong example of what it means to be an empathetic, caring health practitioner. She is often wrong in her diagnoses and does not explain things. Prescribes whatever is convenient such as strong steroids. She will forego recommended health measures In the interest of “not being liable” even if her patients are in dire need of surgery. She is not current with the health needs of women. She is not an advocate of women.Additionally, every time you call you wait in line for a few hours only to have someone pick up and say they cannot locate your prescription info and then when you wait for them to find it they come back on the line only they keep saying hello because they cannot hear you and then hang up so you have to call again and be placed in number 28th call again. This place is such a joke!
They loss your information from the hospital! They call when you make appointment they called hospital for your information the hospital sending to them! They loss your information! I had appointment today at 1420 hrs. The nurse ask me what hospital I was it! I told her she not now its was local hospital? Still on information on me?? Every bad business? This was 3 rd time they are bad my eye doctor said for a mir why Im getting lot migraine! My doctor send by fax? They loss my paperwork from my eye doctor? Plus the VA asked them to fax paperwork to the VA hospital? They dont sending to them? This place should be outlaw from all medical by the medical offices in new Jersey ASAP! They may just animal not human here Im not dog or cat stop treatment us animals we pople a men died there and nurse said thanks God that me it happens to him? Thats ever say that man died your staff looking over him
Terrible experience. We made total 5 appointments in two weeks but at each appointments they didnt tell us certain things that we need which result us keep making appointments in when we went but still got nothing done at all because again, they didnt tell us anything on our previous appointment other than make an appointment for next time and the reasoning of why we couldnt do it On that day. This is our 5th appointment now, hope things workout... if not... wellall I can say is that its my own bad luck to end up with them.
Horrible!!! I normally don’t write bad reviews but this is my 3rd bad experience at this place!Adult Medicine: I set an appointment for Thursday @ 7:20pm, I arrived at 7pm and wasn’t called into the room until 7:45pm, the nurse told me to wait here and she’ll be back. I waited until 8:15pm until I asked the security guard where is the nurse and doctor I have to go?? No one was available!Pediatric: My daughter needed a school physical to start school, the Doctor said I had to leave the documents there and they will call me when it’s ready to be picked up. I never received a phone call so I called them and was told that they didn’t have the physical documents (luckily I had a copy) I dropped off the new documents and they loss them a second time! The excuse was that the doctor took the papers with her. After a third attempt, I received my documents.This place is just a big waste of time! If you have the health insurance or money I advise you to find another facility.
Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever received. I now have to wait another night before getting any cough medicine, while this deep cough continues to give me headaches and keep me up at night. Their “patient portal” is a joke, and none of the offices will give you their direct number. They only allow you to leave a message with the main office, ensuring that it takes forever to get a call back. I can’t wait to get off of medicaid.

I have been calling and sending messages through the patient portal for an appt and to get referrals for specialist I am seeing 2 days. No one will get back to me through portal and everytime I call Im number 40 or 50 something in line to talk to a human! So I guess Im just not seeing my cardiologist bc OHI cant answer messages or call you back do you can pick up a simple referral!I had to jump through hoops for 2months of seeing specialist to get cleared for surgery NOW my surgery is on the verge being post poned because they wont sign off on my clearance! All the other specialist have, ALL test and xrays came back FINE but they are making me come backnin for an appt THE DAY AFTER MY DEADLINE FOR CLEARANCE!!!!
I went to the obgyn at this location and I was treated terribly. The dr. Talked over me, made me feel unheard, he wouldnt listen to me. He just told me im normal and nothing is wrong. I have been told by my old Dr what is wrong. And had to switch here bc i lost that insurance. So yes there is something wrong and he is a terrible dr. Also said inappropriate things to me as well. I even told him what my other dr told me. He basically told me it wasnt true and im fine. Do not recommend this dr.
Crazy male pediatrician WILL misdiagnose your kids health. Not worth the risk here. The dental offices are a joke. Also they charge 100$ fee to visit the clinic? Call a REAL doctor and ask them what they charge. Many of the family practitioners charge a lot less and you’re getting better treatment. Place is a disaster and needs to be closed down.
The ridiculous place I have ever been my entire life. I just wanted to call about my imaging order and they really had to give me an attitude. The waiting on the phone tho... If you come here to work, you have to do your job right. Because of your customers, you have money. Never coming back AGAIN. PERIOTTTD.
Here is what I can assure you. Dr Meyer and NP Cathy Delgado are FANTASTIC. Both of them CARE. They dont rush you out. Ive dealt with a ton of doctors, surgeons, etc for the past two years while fighting cancer and the aftereffects of chemo and radiation. LOVE THEM BOTH! Thank you Dr. Meyer, for LISTENING and also same to Cathy Delgado. Sometimes, like today, you wait a LONG time. Over one and a half hours!! I wouldnt mind had I been TOLD there was an emergency by the front desk girls, however, once I got back there, the nurse told me, (after Id sort of complained for having to wait SO long). As far as care and treatment? I AM TOTALLY satisfied as of now. :)Also, to those who think you never know who you are going to get so you know, its no longer a walk in clinic, you can now make an appointment and ask to see a certain doctor or nurse practitioner. I think its gotten much better since I began going there about 18 months or so ago.
Yo some dude just croaked in the doctors office. The doctor ran out and said call and ambulance now and 20 mins later came out a dead man on a stretcher and the girls at the desk were like better him then me
Nothing but terrible experiences with the OHI OBGYN over the last 3 years. They never send the proper referrals or authorizations for things such as ultrasounds. Im now in another argument with them about my new medication not getting pre-authorization sent in to my insurance. I have been arguing with them for weeks about it. I was supposed to start the new med a month ago. I called my insurance as well as the pharmacy and turns out they never even sent in the pre-auth. This is after the answering service (which is another problem, they either never take you off of hold (I have waited at times for 3+ hours) or are completely rude and give wrong information) INSISTED that it was approved, and then proceeded to hang up on me. If I had better insurance I would not be going here. You see a different provider every time, there is no feeling of personalized care. Youre just a number to them. They also do not answer any messages you send them on the portal, even if its about medication you NEED.
**update at the bottom.THE PEDIATRICIANS ARE AMAZING. Really. They educate you they know what they are doing. My BIG issue with these people are you CANNOT always get a hold of them on the phone to schedule an appointment and you cant see their first available appointments online and they want you to schedule online. I called yesterday because my daughter has a rash and was 1 in the Q for 30 minutes the entire time on my way to work I had to hear about online scheduling because they dont play music or anything while you wait on hold.My daughter had a rash and I was trying to schedule an appointment to come in that day. Her daycare was calling everyone in my family because they couldnt get a hold of me at work. I get off work at 3 I try to call after work Im 31 in the Q. I try to schedule online for a well child and it didnt show any first available appointments. The next available appointment was in 5 days. I went there at 4. Thank God I work 9-3 because apparently their last appointment is at 4. I tell them what happened and asked to speak with their supervisor Veronica. The girl at the desk said its not her fault. Im not looking to blame anyone but if she cant talk to IT maybe we can fix online scheduling ya know fix something with the system so we all dont have this problem! I think big. Im not small minded. I told them I need to voice my complaint to someone they gave her my number she probably wont call. They saw my daughter what a relief! BUT I just went to the pharmacy ( my pharmacy makes compound creams over night so I waited till morning to pick it up) THERE IS NO CREAM FOR DAUGHTERS RASH AT THE PHARMACY. Im supposed to go and drop off my daughters cream at her daycare right now? My pharmacy actually said they sent a request to have a cream filled for her yesterday and they havent approved it yet. When I walk in its fine. My experience with them has been great when I walk in and when they answer the phone wo schedule appointments. Very unhappy this time around I never had this problem with them.Update: I went there and my problem was resolved I spoke with Veronica and everything was good. She said that they are trying to make all scheduling online so sometimes the call center is short staffed and what you see online is first available so if they are all booked then they are booked but . They have late nights at different sites that are walk in she was saying so if I couldnt be seen in Toms river I could be seen at another location so that is great. Happy with the results so I gave a better review ( originally 2 stars. Calm cool communication is important)
If I could give this place half a star, I would. I waited on the phone for an hour the other morning. Had to take my daughter to the ER with a cold I knew she had, figured maybe her shitty doctor, Alan Masia, would prescribe something or just tell me what Ive been hearing. Alan Madia put me down the first visit cause I wasnt breastfeeding my baby. Good for his wife for breastfeeding their kids, I am not his wife, why did he compare me to her. I hope no one brings their kids here, its absolutely insulting and Alan Madia will put you down as a mother.
There are incredibly long wait times every time I call to make an appointment but I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I lost my health insurance and needed to see a dentist and the building itself was a lot nicer and more comfortable than I expected, the staff was excellent and made the experience less nerve wracking and I was fairly content with the service I received.
This place is aJoke, it takes hours before anyone answers the phone.if they don’t hang up on you..the pediatrician doctors suck. Each location the doctors suck they shouldn’t even be doctors. Honestly. The only good thing is lab core and the chiropractor.The front desk people are rude they don’t do there jobs, on different websites and take a lot of personal calls just like the people that greet u. Always taking personal calls. They nasty roll there eyes. They talk badly about you while u can obliviously hear them.. so unprofessionalNeeds new management
This place is the worst I been too. Staff didnt know how to properly take a blood pressure telling me is was dangerously high and tried to push blood pressure meds on me so I went and got a 2nd opinion and that Dr said absolutely not your bp is not high enough for meds....
Lots of problems with referrals . Waited two hrs on hold to get an operator ty o then fax my referral to my cardiologist. While I sat on hold for my appointment. Phones are really backed up
A joke. No one answers phone. Spanish girls who run front desk talk about your business out loud. HIPPA!! LAW SUIT!!!They ask you what you do for a living as well!! They read your chart and snicker in your face. Important info gets lost and when they do call you back with results its 3 weeks later!!! At least they got rid of the drunk male assistant who also asks why your on Medicaid!!! If the assistant likes you, you might get your urine remembered andhoney, sweetheart doesnt make up for it all. Do not go to this disgusting and horrific office. We went to this office for a physical - they told us to only tell the doctor the most severe thing bothering us since they only have 10 minutes of time. This was supposed to be a yearly full physical. We walked right out of the office and I have reported them and am hoping action will be taken against them.
This place keeps loosing the best workers who actually get their job done and done correctly. Which helps keeps things smoothly for the patient but also for the providers... Only 3 stars for OHI BC ALOT OF PROBLEMS SINCE THEY lost several employees. A.T. will forever be my fav and missed ;(
I loved the new building at first. But well visits for my children took over FOUR hours! Ob drs are rude and if I dont agree with something they give attitude! The female pediatrician is wonderful but the male pediatrician is very strange and takes FOREVER!! I have OHI another shot since they were moving to a brand new building but they get negative feedback from me! They make appointments and THEY dont keep them. They over book and dont have enough staff to accommodate.
Definitely NOT the clinic vibe from back in the day. Everyone I bave encountered in my 3 trips to OHI have been friendly and super accommodating. I was able to see OB GYN, Chiropractor AND have bloodwork done one appointment after another IN THE SAME BUILDING!! Dont know how more convienant it could be! Thanks OHI

I was very pleased with the OBGYN, I recently lost my insurance while finding out I was pregnant but knew I needed to seek medical attention. Going here I was skeptical at first. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the front staff, they were able to help me expedite my insurance process. The nurses in the back were so detailed and explained everything to me that I had questions on very modern with ipads that they each had for their specific jobs and were very professional. They have a web portal that you can actually text the nurses directly if you have any questions instead of calling. I was pleased with my experience and made me feel better about coming here.
Not only did I have to wait on hold for a literal 15 minutes before anyone been answered, to tell me to hold on again for another 10 minutes. When I got there, they had completely zero idea of what they were doing. They had no idea how to make a woman feel comfortable there. I had an appointment to go back and Im once again on hold for 15 minutes to try to cancel my damn appointment. This is completely ridiculous and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. If you need somewhere cheap to go because youre pregnant, you can go to solutions in shrewsberry, and if youre going here because youre sick you can go to any walk in clinic and get better care.

Cancelled my appt and didnt call me now I have to wait another week when Im suppose to be seen ever week since Im due to give birth in 20 days and needed to speak to the Dr today. They dont answer messages on their patient portal. When its time to give birth 1 in 12 Drs could show up so you might not even know the person. Never want to go here again after this experience
Fantastic dentist, people theyre were all polite, ok, it does take a long time to get to the switchboard but it is well worth the wait being the price is right, and they do a more thorough job cleaning and fixing my teeth than my last 2 dentist did !

Was going to the OB office in Toms River while pregnant and living in Ocean county. In order to make an appointment or speak with anyone you sit on hold forever and when you do finally get ahold of someone they are extremely rude. I saw a different doctor every time i went in. They wanted me to deliver at hospital an hour away from my home when there was a perfectly good hospital with a maternity/delivery floor right there in Toms River. They would not assign a delivery doctor, it was just the luck of the draw with whoever happened to be on call. Now I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and I have moved to another state and they are refusing to release my medical records, claiming they havent received authorization of records release despite the fact that I have faxed it to them twice now. I have 2 different confrimations that the faxes were indeed sent to the correct fax number. Do not use this office if it is at all avoidable, they are a nightmare to deal with.
First off, dont bother calling these people because you will be waiting on the phone for 30 minutes or longer. Secondly, dont see the OGBYN named Maria. I had my very first exam ever and everyone there was aware of that including her. When she came into the room I even mentioned again that this is my first pap smear. Without a warning she starts opening my gown during mid conversation and starts the breast exam. I put that in quotations because I dont think this woman even knew how to do a proper breast exam. What she did, I never seen that before done on anybody. Afterwards she told me to lay back and she began the pap smear. Again, she didnt give me any type of warning at all. I was very anxious. She inserted the speculum without using any type of lubrication. I told her that it hurt and she was completely silent and didnt say anything. Totally felt violated in a way. Also expressed how I had pain and discomfort near my right ovary during intercourse and she told me how its impossible for penetration to be hurting my ovary basically. I was baffled. Do not go to this sh*thole.
Dental office is awesome.. Love the way the assistant of the dentist makes you feel comfortable. She is great and she should be recognized.

You sit on hold for hours sometimes i had to walk in because no one would pick up the phone and my daughter needed to be seen im in the process of switching doctors. also if you are a first time mom request to someone dif then Dr. Masia he made me feel like i was stupid for asking questions and such and would only talk about him self.
Dr. Masia is the best! He knows literally everything about children and health issues and the proper course to treat them. Hes a little quirky but very friendly and youll get used to it. Trust me its worth it! I wouldnt recommend ob-gyn or dental but the regular adult medicine is good as well.
You can NEVER get threw to these offices. If you do once a year get threw to get an appointment, the doctors are decent but it shouldn’t take hours of being on hold and being completely unreachable as family doctors.
It is 3pm and im still waiting here for a 2:20 appointment. Ill be an old man before they call me. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN PERIOD!!!!!!
Cant stand dr masia. Its his way or no way. And he talks more about his own personal life then discussing the parents concerns or questions about their children. I take my girls to see the NP instead. Shes very nice, and hears you out

It all depends on the doctor you see and which facility you go to . For Adult Med I see only two docs and I travel to Lakewood from Beachwood to them Only sofia and Charisma will I see . Now for pediatrics Good Lord I am looking for a decent place to take my son the Male doctor my poor kid gets every time is rude and inappropriate. He doesnt bother to read a full chart and forgets that he sent my child to a several specialists. Didnt remember one of them .
If I could give this place a negative star review I absolutely would. The nurse/physician misplaced my lab work, their hours of operation are terrible, their referral system is atrocious and get this the dental office only books 1-week out so you have to keep calling to try and make an appointment. Who ever is in charge of this facility should be fired!
This place is God awful, I had blood work done well over a month ago, and it took weeks to get results and only because I was the one who called for them. And when I finally received a call about my results it was very obvious that it was NOT a Dr. who was reading them to me. I pretty much got off the phone thinking that I had cancer. I still dont know what Im supposed to do now. I called back twice since I got my results, asking for them to explain them to my mother, gave them both her cellphone and work number but did not receive any phone call back. I came here for dental in December, and they sent me someplace else with my x-rays, only they had me booked for a ROOT CANAL when I was only supposed to be going for a consultation. I sat in the dentist for over 3 hours on 2 different occasions because they couldnt get the appointment right. And dont even get me started on OB/GYN, Ill never come to this place ever again for that. Last time I did, I scheduled to see a female Dr. but they had me examed by a MALE Dr. instead, who quite honestly didnt seem to understand how the female body works since I left in so much pain and so traumatized I wanted to just curl up and cry. ALSO apparently, said male Dr. prescribed some kind of medication but never told me, and I dint find out until nearly 2 years later in December of 2017 when I went to get a physical. No success with that either. The only Dr. Ive had remotely any success with is Nutritionist Dr. Hildebrandt. For the sake of your time and health, dont come here, nothing but dead ends. Id give it a negative 5 stars if I could.
Everyone was vrey polite and helpful i dont know about any of the other doctors at the Manahawkin office but Dr. Julie Yoskowitz was the best, she took time to explain everything and let me ask questions. She didnt thy to rush me out the door like doctors at the Toms River office. It was a much better experience then Ive had in the past.
By far the worst doctors office I have ever been to!!! The doctors are all rude, 1 is so lazy its ridiculous (she makes you wait over an hour only to get you out the door in 2 minutes) and all of them rush you out the door and dont care if you have questions. This is my 3rd child and Im no doctor but I think only have 1 ultrasound the entire pregnancy is a little careless to me... I mean there are things you can see with an ultrasound that could be wrong with the baby but only having 1 ultrasound you cant monitor those things like going 1 ultrasound and having something not there but then with the next one something could be there. Im 35 weeks pregnant and highly considering changing offices because Im starting to fear for my unborn childs life being in the hands of these doctors!!!
You got nerve having the operaters who answer the phones a half hour later ask you about your Meds its none of there business...Something OHI needs to work on major is patient doctor care one on one....I really think its time to call the State and fed Goverment especially when you have the proof !!
My mother has been going to this place for some time she is really sick and in pain all over her body theres days she can hardly walk every time she goes to this office the doctor there does not help barely listens or seems to care about whats going on . she had to be put out of work even though they know she has problems with her legs they had her come all the way on the bus to get a note that could have been mailed to the house . her thyroid is huge and protruding out of her throat they have her come in to get results in the pouring rain only to have the doctor tell her its normal and to see a thyroid doctor she also had two other tests done for shortness of breath she had to ask the doctor what the results of them were cause the doctor was about to send her on her way if she didnt say something and luckily before she left she asked for copies of her test results the so called normal thyroid turned out to be filled with large complex nodules that obviously are causing horrible symptoms how could that be normal . the office is just not professional being with my mother Ive seen them make fun of people and all kinds of stuff are you professionals that are supposed to help people or not . they extended my mothers time out of work but still wont mail the doctors note to her when she has trouble walking but amazingly days after she got the test results she receives a letter from the office saying you need to see your provider cause your test results were abnormal go figure Im looking for a new office for my mother period and I would not go there they do not care anything about their patients its get them in and out of course after youve waited hours on end to be seen in the first place absolutely terrible
This place is a joke, they were supposed to call me for a surgery they never did, they got mamo results they never notified my, I had to call them to find out weeks later. Getting someone on the phone is almost impossible, you need to be on the phone for ever.
If you want to schedule an appointment, they have you sit on hold for 30 mins. When you finally get to the office, there’s not enough parking so you may even end up missing your appointment. If you’re lucky enough to find parking, you then have to deal with the ridiculous wait times which can be anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
If I could give this place a negative star review I absolutely would. The nurse/physician misplaced my lab work, their hours of operation are terrible . Just keep reschedule my appointment 4 times .
Horrible place ob gyn and assistant rn some Indian lady put a speculum in me and cut me up inside and didnt even put it in my visit notes in case I have to go to hospital if bleeding dont stop. Unprofessional doctors there never go to ob gyn in toms river.
First of all its DIRTY. Second of I made a DENTAL apt for my kids and I arrive and the man sends me to the PEDIATRIC, me never coming here thinks nothing much of it. So were in there for a half hour filling out paperwork. The moron at the desk starts laughing and tells me oh sorry your here for dental this is pediatric. Nothing like wasting my time! Never going back here !!
They never answer the phone to make an apt. Ive been waiting months to here my results.
If I could rate a 0 for this place I would ! Dr. Masia In pediatrics is the worst doctor ever! Instead of helping he makes you feel stupid and does nothing . Every visit to this place is a horror . If you are a first time mother or ANYONE stay away from this place !!! Terrible experiences all around . Never again !
Had dr masia treat my children. BIG MISTAKE, he misdiagnosed the treatments a couple times and kept obsessing about his own sister and the measles, but now that I found a normal pediatric doctor, NEVER AGAIN will they see him. He should have his license pulled from not having a barrier of his personal life and the patients rights. He does not follow the protocol at all.
Been here multiple times had multiple negative experiences my girlfriend went to the gyno in pain thinking it was a uti they had her give a urine sample said there was no bacteria only a little blood............ Told her to go to the labcorp and get some kind of swab she said she was in a lot of pain they said take ibuprofen and laughed in her face..... Later that night went to the er had 3 types of bacteria in her urine doctor said she had a whopping uti at ohi they seemed more intrested in what they where doing on memorial day weekend than their paitent
This places is very unprofessional. The doctor who saw me had a attitude and was in a rush to go home literally a 2 min visit both Dr and medical assistant walked out without saying a word. I literally walked out with any guidance from Staff. I was a hospital follow up and didnt even ask to see discharge papers. Never going back.
Ive been taking my children there for over 20 years. Pediatric care is the best. Everyone is so nice. It is very clean. I am a germ a phobe and would not tolerate the least unsanitary thing. Dr. Masia is a little slow but very knowledgeable. If you dont have patience see a different Dr. They helped save my daughters life. Very long medical history. They always listen to me. When I got good insurance through work I tried a couple of private drs to avoid the wait time at OHI. The wait was longer! The care not as good. I went back.
I have never had a problem until yesterday with dr masia, he wouldnt listen to anything i was saying about my 2 year old he was basing everything from the last visit from March. I also just got onto his patient portal come to find out my son was perscribed something back in april and no one called me about it and dr masia perscribed it almost 3 weeks after he was seen. It would have been helpful. Im not taking my kids back there to that idiot again.And to update a week after seeing dr masia and him telling me there was nothing wrong with my son, my son was diagnosed with pre-b acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It was clear as day that my son was sick. And he did nothing.
Staff noticed an issue with my insurance and repaired it, so theyre great; however, wait times are unnecessarily long. I get there a half hour prior to my appointment and still end up waiting almost an hour past my scheduled appointment before Im even called. I then wait on average an additional forty-five minutes in the examination room before seeing a doctor. This is unacceptable when there are almost always three or less patients in the office at a time.My OB/GYN changed 100% of the time. There was no consistency. Diagnoses (some life-threatening) were issued and then rescinded depending on the doctor I saw that day. My medical issues have been ignored throughout my medical care here. My previous OB/GYN diagnosed me with hyperemesis gravidarum, along with a few other health issues, and yet this practice ignores my constant health concerns. I do not think they even bothered to get my medical records from my previous doctor.Every doctor there has spent less than five minutes in the room with me. Their main priority is rushing in and out. Overall, front desk service is stellar while medical care is poor. I had to leave and find another practice that isnt as neglectful of patient needs.
It is a pain to make the appointments because it is a clinic. I also do not like the male pediatrician, and specifically take my kids to Dr. Hernandez. She is really great, talks to you with respect, gives you her honest opinion, and really seems to care for the kids. She remembers the kids, and is always apologetic if there is any wait. I dont mind waiting a little longer for a dr I trust. And the receptionists and security guards dont ever give me an attitude. They hold the doors open, smile and are friendly with the kids.
The OBGYN is awful. .. I still may have cancer and wouldnt know because nobody has contacted me about my biopsy. Ive called the rude staff who tells me they cant help me. If a something happens Ill sue so theres that.
They never answer the phone it takes like 20mins. Then they never have an appt the day you call and cant make appt ahead of time. I always go to the nurse practitioner because the male dr. Doesnt know what hes doin and rambles on and i have twins. He almost checked my daughter twice cuz he wasnt paying attention.
I have been here quite a few timed and I always wait over an hour past my appointment time to see a doctor. Staff not very friendly at all, waiting room crowded. The doctors vie seen rushed me, no bedside manner and did not help me the way I needed most vidits. I refuse to go there again
Crappy service.. doctors are arrogant, espcially male ob.. Took me 6 phone calls to get them to even fax me a hippa release form for my medical history.. they know im 27 weeks pregnant and was forced to move and still wont fax my new doctor my history who cant see me without it. Been on hold for 40 minutes now waiting for someone to pick up.
If everyone is having such bad experience go the hell someone else. the people were extremely polite and gave me no problems
Worst experience, No help... gotta call 6 times a day to get things Done and still ain’t done right.... nervous wreck.... not taking me or my unborn child seriously....
I found all the people at the Toms River facility very pleasant & caring.

What is the deal with these hold times?! This is ridiculous! I guess you have to be a ppo( primary care physician) in order to get through. 2 hours and counting and that not including the 50 minutes i waited on hold at 830am this morning
I dislike the male pediatrician. My son is a teenager and he breaches and oversteps his boundaries. Its unfortunate I have to rely on this insurance for my son. I dont really trust it.
