Went to make an appointment and was told they could see me today after a little wait. Was taken care of efficiently. Everything was explained to me. Questions were answered. The office staff were very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend.

In my recent visit to Body and Motion, from the time you enter the staff welcomes you they are friendly and make you feel comfortable. Dealing with John is certainly someone that not only cares but knows what will work best for my condition. Highly recommend.

I was fitted NeoroSwing braces. John and Laurie were fantastic. It took time to take the many measurements and cast my legs for the braces. Time went by and hopefully Ill have my new braces in 6 weeks.I recommend everyone to Body and Motion for weak ankles and legs.Im sure there is a product they have that will help you!

Finally Ill be getting shoes that will be comfortable and supportive. I cant wait.

I have been an above knee amputee for more than 45 years. I’ve used many prosthetic providers over those years. Recently I needed a replacement limb and was recommended to see Greg at Body In Motion Sports & Orthopedics in Toms River. Their prosthetic specialist Greg assisted me in building my new microprocessor C-leg knee unit limb. He was truly concerned with my comfort, fit and stability when walking. I can walk without pain again! Everyone was always professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate from the moment I was greeted at the front desk. Some time later I needed some adjustments in my full contact suction socket. I had the pleasure of meeting Claude and very talented prosthetics fabricator and he made me a new socket in one single office visit. The new socket is probably the most comfortable I ever had. I started coming here in Dec. 2020 after I had a back surgery that left me with a Right Drop Foot. Body In Motion was able to help me out with a Custom Fit AFO. And, In February 2021 I was also able to get a Turbomed Xtern as well which also helps me walk better with my Drop Foot. I have to say I’d highly recommend this practice for all your orthotics needs. From the front desk to the specialists helping they were wonderful to work with, very kind and accommodating. Whatever you need as far as fixing or adjustments on your orthotics they did while I waited.

Excellent experience here. From the front desk to the technician everyone was so very helpful they are patient and answer all questions. They assisted me with several devices for ambulation following my upcoming surgery. Danny is exceptional and made the experience perfect. I Recommend Body in Motion as 5 Stars!

Highly recommend BODY IN MOTION! Spoke to Brooke over the phone, very friendly and customer srvice oriented. Stopped in one day to ask questions and was given a mini consultation by the owner until Dan returned. Dan explained how he could help, recommendations and options. Note: All 3 were very knowledgable, professional and eager to help get to a better comfort level with my feet when I was just inquiring without a script in hand yet.Follow up: Dan gave recommendations with explanations as to which shoe options would help me best.Update: Today was my 2nd time for shoes & Orthotics. Dan is so good at his job!! He wants to make sure you have the right shoe/orthotic with the right fit that meets the individual needs of your feet.Brooke is also very customer service oriented.Give them a try I think youll be happy you did.

She is a very bubbly, people person individual who makes you feel like part of the Body in Motion family.Brooke took care of the paper work and was able to answer any questions I had.My technician, John, is an ACE! He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly & professional. He explained every step in my exam and was very caring & assuring.

I can’t thank Greg and his team enough for the care and concern they have given, and what’s in my best interest to get on my feet again! I highly recommend Body In Motion to any amputee. Had a great experience here. Needed a knee brace and was seen immediately and helped with my issue. They also took care of an insurance issue with payment of the brace. Have to say I had a great experience and would recommend.

Brook and Debbie have been friendly, professional, and have always done everything to make my appointments a complete success. Upon entering, theres Brook with a smile on her face and a positive attitude in all. Then theres Debbie who made sure that the neurologist completed all required documents for me to get my leg braces. Both are caring women who work to make sure I am treated with respect and compassion. These two women are examples of how terrific Body in Motion is the best place to use!

First time patient. Received same day appointment and was told to “come on over.” Was greeted by a wonderful, outgoing receptionist. Zero wait time. By the time I finished the short intake form, I was taken back by John Caputo, DO - who happens to be the President of the practice. John was great too. Asked me questions and recommended a brace that fit comfortably - allowing me to continue my daily work and exercise routine in my standard shoe. Highly recommend, would go again (but hopefully I won’t have to).

Spoke to Debbie & received an immediate appointment in their Toms River office. When I got to the office I met Brook who greeted me with a huge smile & quickly checked me in. There was virtually no waiting time. Desiree was my fitter & she was fantastic. Professional service very friendly shoes are new to me but so far so good

I had a wonderful experience. They treated me as not just s patient but as a customer too. They were concerned with my needs and meeting them. My visit was friendly, quick, and efficient. Their receptionist was wonderful and so was the therapist I saw.

After having a few problems with the shoes that were fitted for me, I met with John and he made sure I got the right pair that actually fit and feel good on my poor broken feet. Thank you John and Body in Motion for going the extra mile to make sure I was a Happy Customer and I Am. :-)

I was recently diagnosed with arthritis in my ankles and it was so bad, it had all but robbed my ability to walk. As it is, I walk with two canes and it is very painful. I was prescribed Arizona braces by my podiatrist and he also advised I use Body In Motion to build them. They know their stuff though. On my first visit, they immediately decided Arizona braces wouldnt do any good and fit me for torch walkers instead. They were very professional in casting my feet and didnt make me feel self-conscious despite the deformity of my foot.A situation arose that almost made my having and using the torches not happen. I wont go into details about the problem, but it was my problem, not theirs. They worked around the issue to make sure I got the walkers, especially since there had been more deterioration in my ability to walk since my first visit in early July.I finally received them last Wednesday and I live in a whole new world. Theres no pain when I walk (aside from adjustment pain that will go away soon) and I can walk quite a long distance without tuckering out. The best news is that once I trust my balance 100%, Ill probably be able to walk without those stinking canes!!Thank you, Body In Motion, for everything. Youve improved the quality of my life, and I thank you sincerely for it!

Very Friendly receptionist named Brooke.Also professional service by the staff and they are always accommodating. My appointments are always on time, I never have to wait and they spend as much time with me as I need, I never feel rushed.

Everyone there was nice sincere funny and just all around great people and atmosphere. Brooke at the front desk was amazing, she is funny and makes your visit more relaxed and also Maddie (I think thats how its spelled) was great with helping size my knee brace I will recommend them to everyone and anyone!!!!

They were great. To check in, all I needed was my VA card. That was it. Unlike others where there are endless, repetitive forms to fill out and require multiple forms of ID. Quick and easy. I was seen promptly, was asked questions about my issue, examined, measured and out. Very friendly people.

Greg is awesome. He takes his time with his clients. He is the first prosthetist that has been able to correctly fit my prosthetic in almost six years. I was able to stand today without pain. I am ecstatic!

Called and Deb took my info and told me molds would be made for my orthotics at my appointment. They would submit to my insurance after that. Went to the appointment. No one in the whole place but Deb and the young receptionist who was not expecting me. I was told they couldnt help me and didnt know why I was there with out an appointment. Why would I show up if I wasnt told to come on that day because the fellow who makes the molds was busy the day before? I had to take time off my work because I was told they were only open till 4:30. I should get reimbursed for loss of pay. They both didnt seem to know what the were doing but Deb is an arrogant person who has no people skills. I will take my business elsewhere and be sure to tell everyone and my Doctors about my experience.I spoke to the office manager Tamara today and she could have not been more cordial to me and understanding, saying she would not tolerate this kind of treatment of a potential client and apologized for my experience. After reading the response from the owner, below, I can see that he (she) holds the same nasty temperament of the employees there...except for Tamara (unless she is the owner also). I do review quite a bit and have given mostly very outstanding reviews of businesses in the area. That is not a bad thing and Bodies in Motion should be aware that at anytime someone may review them again. I was not a walk in and and by the way, if they had no record of me making an appointment how did you know my telephone number and my insurance information? Dont worry Deb will show her true colors again and I hope you will think of me then. You should have waited to post your response until you heard back from me. You deserve this bad review!

I had just gotten a prescription for a brace and my doctor referred me to body in motion I called immediately after I got the prescription and asked if I needed an appointment and the woman on the phone Brooke was really nice and said that I could come in right now and she could squeeze me in and was really pleasant, not sure of the name of the man who fit me for my brace but he was also very helpful overall it was a great experience

They are very very good and caring people. They have cared for a complex problem with my feet. I have worked very closely with John Caputo and Greg with numerous orthotic adjustments to get me healed. The office staff is excellent and take care of scheduling to fit your needs!

I had such a great experience here. Everybody that I dealt with was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Very Nice staff. Professional And Friendly. But Unfortunately both of the styles of pairs of shoes They recommended did not work for me. The first pair was returned since I couldnt walk in them as they rubbed my ankle where I was operated on and It irritates the area. The 2nd pair are sitting in my closet as they still dont fit after ordering different sizes 3 times. They told me to try them even though the back of my foot slides out of the shoe when I walk. Since theres nothing they can do for me, they sit in my closet brand new In the box. AND Medicare And I paid for shoes and inserts that I cant use. IM NOT HAPPY

Honest if they cant match a price

Ive been working with John Caputo for five years now. I have MS which progressed. Each and every new issue that came up (foot drop weak ankle foot turn and now knee issues) you get. Theyve been great at getting my problems solved!

I have been a patient with Body in Motion for 15 years. I see John Caputo two or three times a year for my orthotic needs and he and his staff are the best! John is very knowledgable and accommodating and everyone is always pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended!

They have been very helpful getting to feel comfortable with my brace anytime I had a problem they were very cutious and help me with whateverI needed to have done with my brace! Thank You very much for all your help, it is so much better and not hurting.

My family had high hopes for competent and caring service at Body In Motion for an expensive uninsured purchase of a Walkaide for my son, but unfortunately it turned very negative. After the person that we started with left their company, the service went downhill. Most upsetting - when we tried to renegotiate our $5500 out-of-pocket payment plan, we were laughed at, and just generally dealt with horribly. It was a real shock. Especially that this is a company that claims in its slogan to be compassionate and caring - definitely NOT compassionate and caring - but nasty comments and attitude, and derision.WORSE, at the tail end, when most of the device was paid for - $4700 and were supposed to trade out the loaner device we had (to secure payments) for a new one, they instead sent to a collections company. When I called to try to communicate about it, I was basically hung up on and sent an email we choose to terminate our service to your family, well send you somewhere else. Unbelievable. So that they can get out of giving us the new device. I am posting this here with the hope that anyone considering Body In Motion avoid what we went through and know that they risk getting major attitude and horrible service - definitely no compassion or caring here. Caveat Emptor.
