Attempted to use for an airport transfer in the early am. Driver did not show. Called the office left a message no answer. 15 minutes later I throw my bags in the car and leave as Im now running late. Call again no answer. I leave. Shortly after I get a call from the driver, that he is on the way, they had car trouble. I asked how long and explained I had already left and was running late, and that if he was on my street or at my house I would turn around but I was not going to turn around and sit in front of the house and wait just to miss my flight. He could not tell me where he was or give me an eta, could only say that he was on his way. The driver sounded hungover and it was pretty clear he had just got out of bed. I believe he could not give me an eta because he had not even left the house yet. I called dispatch and told them I couldnt wait for the driver and miss the flight, to cancel and also cancel the return trip in a week because I now had to drive my vehicle home. I was then charged for the trip to the airport, not once but twice. I was then charged for the return trip from the airport a week later, even though I had canceled a week prior and no one was even dispatched. I was charged for three trips when no one drove me anywhere. Attempts to rectify with their office were also in vain, as the back end of the business is apparently run as poorly as the front end. I got no response to multiple voicemails and ultimately got reimbursed after filing disputes with the credit card company. This business is failing on every level from the drivers, to dispatch, to billing, and ultimately management. Dont aggravate yourself, call someone else.

Sill waiting to get my money back from when they double charged my credit card. There dispatcher keeps telling me to call back and speak to owner who is coincidentally never available on the 9 attempts thus far. Save yourself the headache and go with another company.

Horrible experience! Driver contacted me and said he broke down on the way to my houseStill waiting on my refund.Get a lyft if you need to get somewhere especially to airport. Not worth the headache and stress especially at 3 in the morning.

No driver showed up for my early morning pickup to jfk, Even though I received a confirmation email. Credit card was charged. Had to take a uber. What a mess. I should’ve followed the reviews

I am in need of another limo service, but after seeing this company and some of the reviews on here i wanted to share my review. I booked with preferred Limo August 2019. I paid for it and i didnt realize they sent me an email to confirm even though i already paid. I didnt check my emails and then they sent me an email that my reservation was cancelled because i didnt acknowledge the email. So i called them and they said said no problem we will take the charge away. it never happened.. i called multiple times and it never got taken off... i had to go through my credit card company and send them all the emails so they could go through it and dispute it with the company.. I should of seen the email i suppose but after paying for the service i thought thats all that was needed.. it seems by the other reviews they have received a hard time similarly so be weary of that

After my cousin was overcharged for her trip and the manager “John” has yet to kindly contact her after 6 phone calls for a apology and reasoning of why she was overcharged $400 I did my research on my own. I contacted the Toms River township clerks office to see if they are licensed within the township. The answer I got from the township clerk Laurie who handles taxis/ limousines was no they are not. They are not even a registered business within the township. So having this Toms River address online is misleading to people. I drove by the address listed on google maps and it’s a regular house. No limos no signs nothing. The residence is not even zoned for commercial. If you google preferred limousine they are EVERYWHERE apparently. Most of the addresses are houses from what I saw on google earth. It seems my cousins situation is very common from other reviews I read. They overcharge and this guy “John” the manager never responds. I would be careful using this service as you don’t know who your dealing with. It’s risky. It’s becoming more and more common with this company that they are double charging customers and not refunding them. Beware

DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS. They double charged us and refuse to refund our money. We are headed to court because it isnt right and apparently they have done this to other people too. DO NOT USE this company, save yourself the headache!

Made a limo reservation for today for my cousins Bachelorette Party. I got 2 email confirmations and a reminder email. I got a call an hour before leaving a voice mail stating the schedule was made and I was not on it and they don’t know why I was still on the schedule. Now I have 9 women and no ride to our day of celebration events for a special person. It was very unprofessional to call an hour before and tell me there wasn’t any car and driver available after receiving multiple emails as well as speaking and confirming with actual people. DO NOT BOOK if you have any need for a ride to any event. They will not show and will cancel leaving you stranded.

Its funny how this character Donald Harrison made a review for his cousin and claims this company is not registered. NJ State Law states that a Limo services only need be registered in one location and No Municipality can force them otherwise. LOOK IT UP! I checked into this and your cousin didnt receive a refund because she immediately did a chargeback and received her $$ back AND all her emails were answered. It really is sad that some people have nothing better to do then to throw false facts out and write reviews ESPECIALLY since you were not even there!! Then competitors make up names and write reviews all the time also. Like Ms Pathetic. Preferred did over 3400 trips this year and same last year... not a bad record for a couple of negative reviews, which NONE are accurate or true. Not a bad ratio if you ask me

Our limo driver Michelle came 15 minutes earlier than the time we had called the limo for. Limo was completely decorated with birthday banner, ballons and napkins which was a very nice added unexpected touch. I was easily able to connect my phone and play my own music. Pricing was very fair. Limo was pretty dated (I did know it was an older limo when I ordered it). Overall excellent experience. It was a pleasure booking on the phone and dealing with them. Will use this company again.

Preferred Limo has been sold, beware costumers, the new owner isn’t honoring any contract, very unprofessional, my credit card was charged by Preferred and when I call to cancel because of all this virus stuff, I was told new owners weren’t honoring any contract..stay clear, I’m dealing with my credit card company right now to resolve this issue.. I give them a zero rating...

I definitely will never be booking with Preferred Limo again and I recommend you think twice before doing so as well. Long story short, I was double charged over $500 the day after my trip that was already paid in full. It took way too many phone calls and emails to get even a partial refund for this error and more calls just get the full amount back. After over 6 weeks and many useless phone calls with Michelle in the office telling me I needed to speak with John, the Manager, to solve my concerns, I still have yet to ever receive a returned phone call from John. It is now over 6 weeks after my trip and I am still owed money from this company due to also being overcharged for hours we did not use with no response from management despite countless phone calls and emails. Not one returned phone call from John and too many “I don’t know what to tell you” responses from Michelle in the office. Only good thing to note was that our driver, William, was excellent day of! Very poor customer service, terrible management, and even worse accounting department apparently.

Outstanding service! We used many different local services over the past few years and none have compared to Preferred Limo! They communicated with us in every step of our transportation...their vehicles are clean & beautiful.. they were on time, every time... their price was very fair.. and the driver was great. We first used them for our wedding in September and have used them for airport & cruise port transportation ever since. Kudos

Please be careful when booking with Preferred Limo. When I first called, they quoted me the wrong price. The limo ended up being more, but they offered to give us a bottle of champagne, and offered to directorate the limo for the bachelorette party. Someone in our party was going to be late and I asked if it would be ok if we left in between 7-7:15pm without getting charged a late fee since we were supposed to leave at 7pm. Preferred Limo said no problem. The person in our party shows up at 7:15, we are on the road by 7:22, and even though the driver said not to worry about it, we were charged a late fee. Thats not what bothered me. Preferred Limo had the nerve to tell me that we made a mess in the limo and spilled drinks all over the carpet. I personally cleaned up any glasses or napkins that were in the limo. NOBODY SPILLED A DROP! They ended up charging me 50 dollars because of the late fee, and the stains on the carpet. When I tried calling Preferred Limo, they told me the Manager would call me back, and he sends me an email. He still hasnt returned my phone call. Horrible customer service. I truly believe that they knew they messed up on the originally price and they were trying to make their money back on the decorations and the bottle of champagne they threw in for free. If you take Preferred Limo, make sure you take pictures inside the Limo before you leave so you have proof that you did nothing wrong.
