Thief. We paid for months for lawn service that never happened. It cost us an extra $250 fine from the HOA. Do not use!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!It’s a SCAM!! A guy named Carlos asking for a payment thru cash app upfront but never showed up. He sent my call straight to the voice mail. And never refund my money. We called using different number he answers. And lied to us again. What a shame to use veterans name for their BS company.

Stole my money and never provided service. I didn’t read other people’s reviews before hiring them, which was a mistake! Apparently they scam tons of people - requiring electronic payment up front, then never showing up. What a jerk!! I’ve filed for a refund through CashApp but it’s still “pending”. I guess it was my mistake trusting the company just because of the name.

They do not show up when scheduled. When they do they destroy all your pots in your garden. They are careless and do an awful job..... The owner asks in texts for money early, specifically to pay for his brothers funeral, and he recashed a check that he cashed the year before by crossing out the date and changing it. I fought it at the bank and won. He claims he no longer takes paper checks but he did at the time.

Made me pay for service and said it would be dispatched that day. Nobody ever showed up. Tried to call back and realized they had blocked my phone once I had paid. Called from my work phone, the answered, I told them who I was and just wanted my yard done when they could get to it, they hung up and blocked my work phone. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS.

He answered my call very promptly when wanting business, but after I paid him, just crickets.Multiple texts and now he sends my calls straight to voice-mail.Use Tomball Sprinkler Repair instead, save your time and money.

We just closed on a house and the grass was over grown, so I called who I thought were to be professional - well, long story short, they are not professional in the least. Requested payment upfront and said they would take care of it. It has been days now and all I get is the run around.100% a fraudulent company - DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!!!BEWARE!!! SCAM!!!

Due to financial difficulties I had to skip the month of September which I explained to the owner. I was finally able to pay him for the month of October on September 14th. It has officially been a month since I paid him and over a month and a half since my lawn was serviced. He has stopped responding to me and when he does it’s always “oh well we’ll try to get to it”. I’m very upset and very disappointed with this treatment. He started out great then just stopped caring. He has my money, but has not provided any services for the money.

Unprofessional, unresponsive, dishonest so- called company. They were paid for. A month of service and then never contacted and would not answer any calls or texts until I requested a refund to which they said they don’t give refunds . What!! We’ll see. Game on gardener.

Oh yes, the worst referral Ive ever provided a client ever. A horrible regret and one that I will never make again. This company treated my client as if they were doing her a favor to do the job they were paid to do. When they were making a big stink about completing the work in a timely manner my client asked for a refund (this before anything had been accomplished) and she was told they dont give refunds. Yep.....dont give refunds but also not willing to complete the work when client needs the work done. Not worth it truly.

Owner is a theif!! Horrible service.We just had a baby and hired this company to do our yard service. We were required to pay 80$ upfront for bi weekly service for the month which was fine. The owner Carlos had agreed to have our yard done on friday (i had said if they were busy i was ok with monday too to which he replied we schedule right so we have time). Friday came and went... nothing. I sent a nice email just to check to see if it would be done Monday with no response. Monday came and went with no yard service so I sent a text (he sends a text for payment). He responded that text was the best way to get ahold of him and they would be out Tuesday.Service was mediocre. Patches of our front yard were missed. Edging was subpar. Sticks thrown into my yard instead of picked up. We have paid less than 40$ for our other lawn services with better results. I figured maybe they were just in a rush because they had seemed to forgotten about us this first time.The next service should have been this past week. (TODAY IS SATURDAY). No one came. So I sent a text to see if there was a mistake/error or due to weather conditions we were missed. The response I got was a photo of a hotel, and the words in vegas. No calls till next week bye. I showed my husband who agreed that was an unprofessional response and to ask for our remaining 40$ back for a service we never received. Owner Carlos response No refunds. But have a nice life.As duel Navy veterans my husband and I are appalled at the behavior of this company and highly question the use of the veteran in the business name. We have more honor than that in our work and so does every other veteran we know. There was never any documentation sent that refunds will not be given.This company is a poor excuse for lawn serivce and has teribnle customer service.Do not do business here. The owner is a thief. Stole money from a real veteran family with a newborn baby!

Called the number and he insisted I pay up front. I did and Carlos made it seem like he would be there ASAP. Worst company ever. Said they would be at our house to do work today. I sent them a hundred dollars they did not come and told me they would have to fit me in on there schedule some time. They blocked us because we asked for our money back.but apparently they do not do refundsThey violated their contract. I will be taking this to court. Thiefs wanted some over grown shrubs cut down in the back yard. Kept trying to get us to sign a blank contract agreeing to grass cutting service then told us to send him money and he would get his guys out to our place on Friday. Come Friday no show call him up and explains his guys wont be making it out there any time soon and cant even put us on the schedual. Very rude and unprofessional considering he required us 3 days before to sell him full payment for the job after we asked for a refund he claimed that full payment was a deposit and will not be refunded needless to say to crack pot. More then likely never served and if he did probably got chaptered out totally worthless takes advantage of real veterans

Paid them for a month and never received the service. Couldnt get my money back. When I called to ask about the service he would keep telling me that it would be done this week. A week passed then next week. Then the following. When I asked for a refund he never gave me one and because I paid through Zelle I couldnt get my money back. Will be reporting to the BBB. So disappointing to have Veterans in the name, only to find out its a complete Sham. I hired Carlos only because I wanted to help out a fellow service member. SHAME ON YOU!

I would like to recommend Carlos and his company Lawns 4 Less By Veterans. I got a flyer under my front door mat, booked online using the facebook Book Now and in 24 hours he provided me a quote. I paid for the month and signed a service agreement . I love how all of the guys are Veterans and that they speak English.

Carlos is a big theife he hired me as a subcontractor and I worked two weeks cutting lawns for him with my own equipment and now he is refusing to pay me and he blocked my number . He has a fake Craigslist account under lawn care of Texas makes you sign a contract it all seems good, but its not. I have gone to speak with some of the coustemers that I cut their lawn, I dont think his client now what kind of a person he is.

SCAM! Same story as many other reviews. Paid money through Zelle and no service was ever provided. Carlos would not respond to calls unless we called from a new number. He made derogatory comments via text message to me as well.

My company out of the Woodlands does commercial Landscaping only. I say Lawns 4 Less by Veterans and i instantly called. Carlos was great over the phone and with in 2 hours he was able to come by my home and my 2 neighbors as well and provide a free quote. I approved his quote and now he has a few guys coming in the morning..... For real Carlos keep up the good work i will do by best to spread the word.

This company is a disappointment. Carlos is a conman I honestly doubt he or any of his crew are even vets. I payed to have my lawn done even sent pictures of what needed to be done and him and whoever he had out there left it half way done and didn’t even weed eat. It was far from $60 worth. When I brought it to his attention, I was treated as if I should be glad they did as much as they did, and refused to make it right or provide a refund. DO NOT USE THIS GUY! He prays on people’s patriotism do fall for it.

Decided to use another lawn service after August, but paid Carlos for one last time. He cashed the check immediately. The third week of August I texted him to see what day they would be coming. Never got a reply. The last week of August I again texted him to see which day the lawn service would be done. Again no reply. I said it would be fine to simply reimburse us the $45. I sent Carlos a third text asking that he respond to my texts. No reply. No refund. We are now into September, and we know that the $45 will not be refunded, nor will our yard be getting mowed, etc.

Carlos is personal, professional, responsive, and does a fantastic job. I am grateful to have run across him.

Very disappointed with this service. This crew came out and did a fantastic job the first time. We paid the extra fee for gas as discussed because of the area, but the owner said they could do it. They even advertised the new area on their Facebook page. We prepaid for the month based on the wonderful job, but this is where the experience changed. We quickly discovered that we were not a priority. When it came time for our next mowing, we were not serviced at all because the Tomball area needed more time. The owner promised that it would be done the following week. We didn’t mind and went on vacation. Upon our return, we realized the grass had not been cut. This is now putting us past 3 weeks. We called the owner immediately and he was under the impression it was mowed. We sent him pictures, and he promised someone would be out the next day. Well, it is the next day and no one showed up, so we made contact again and were just told that they just can’t make the drive. Poor customer service and a lack of professionalism. If you make a promise, you stand by that. Truly disappointing.

I swear that the HOA is this neighborhood is horrible. Carlos & Lawns 4 Less By Veterans has been helping out like 14 of us to get the HOA off our backs. He and his company are amazing. He hooks me up with free stuff from time to time. And after signing a service agreement and paying for the month with a auto renewal, man o man they are great. This coming from a Picky Marine of 25 years...... Give them your business. Super friendly people. I got a flyer after they did my sisters Wood Fence .

Being a 911 operator dispatcher and I work 12-hour shifts I dont have time to take care of my lawn and trim the bushes and weed the beds and do the edging and the blowing I hired these guys to take care of it for me and theyve done a fabulous job. SCAM ARTIST!!!Paid to have my moms yard mowed because she’s disabled and can’t do it herself. Nobody ever showed called over and over again no answer AFTER ALREADY BEING PAID!! he even told me if I left a bad review he didn’t care because google would just take it off in a month. I’ve contacted authorities and was told this man is not even a veteran but In fact ON PROBATION!!

First of all when I saw that Carlos donates a portion of his proceeds to Veterans I was all in with using him. I even tried talking my neighbors into using him as well. At first he was great and did a great job. It saddens me that I didnt get the same level of service that everyone else that reviewed his services did. We are selling our house and moved out of state and I had asked Carlos to take care of the lawn until it sold. Everything was fine until this last weekend. He told me he would be out there on Saturday, so my realtor scheduled a photographer to come take more pictures on Sunday of the outside and inside of the house. Only to find out from our realtor this morning (Tuesday) that he hadnt been there. After I reached out to him, come to find out his mower broke down Friday, which I understand it happens, but a courtesy text or phone call would have been nice. When I asked him about it this morning and told him I have a mower and trimmer he could use, his response was when I get a little free time I will go over..... And his responses after that I would recommend for you to find someone who can go out there today. Like a friend or something.... But I am doing other things today... Quite the opposite of what he says about customer service in his responses to other reviews. Yes he offered to refund me but now I have an overgrown lawn that looks horrible when I am trying to sell the house. I am truly disappointed.After Carlos response....Difficult customers like myself? I just wanted you to do the job that you we agreed upon and that you were paid for. That isnt difficult. I guess you didnt feel the need to tell me that you wouldnt be doing YOUR JOB because I wouldnt be there to find out. That is shady and definitely not good customer service. I mentioned you said you would refund in my original post, I am not hiding or denying that. But because you didnt do what you said you would do or at the very least communicate with me that you couldnt, it is costing me more money. I dont know what your issue is with me but it seems like your level of integrity is where the issue is.

Carlos thank you for answer my call.... I will recommend to everyone here in the Woodlands.... I was hit with a HOA fine while i was gone... I am super impressed. They mowed the overgrown grass, edged, blow,, debris removal of the grass trimmings all for $90 a week. I will see you all next week for the Mulch job and the regular service. Plus i have to say i enjoy that the entire crew speaks English and all of them are Veterans ... I added alittle extra since you give 12% donations to the VA.

Carlos takes payment upfront, and then does not show up. He has conveniently closed his business, told me he had returned my money by check, which was of course never showed up. I am posting publicly under different initials, but Google thanked me this morning for my review, and told me it had been viewed 108 times. I was a valid customer. I have a service contract that I signed in February 2019. Additionally, I have texts, emails, and check images to prove I paid you. In July you came only one week, but you still owe me money for services not rendered. I am not the only customer who has said this. Several reviews complain of very similar business practices.

I work from home here in champion - real story short - had a company for like 3 years and then they raised my price $300 without even telling me. Then i searched for a new company last week and Lawns 4 Less By Veterans poped up on the search. Called and next morning he came out and gave me a quote for service. I paid for the month with auto renewal badda bing badda boom - they rolled up next morning with 3 people and in 2 hours they cleaned up my back yard. I am beyond impressed.

As having a 2nd carrier in driving trucks as an auto hauler i am on the road 10 months out of the year, I hired Lawns 4 Less by Veterans to handle my yard while i am gone so i dont get into any trouble with my HOA. $45 a week aint bad at all. Carlos and his guys did and are doing an amazing job. I hope this review will help you get more business since i never ever see my neighbors.

I cant express how happy i am with Carlos from Lawns 4 Less.Let me tell you i wrote a check for $40 for weekly service. Yesterday his weed eater broke then he called me & texted me this was like 4ish. So i understand machines break. He was there at 8am this morning brought me a cup of coffee and apologized then he and his crew proceeded to go into my back yard to finish edging. I was like wow. Now that is customer service. I told him it was ok that they can get it next week, but i am 100% impressed.
