Completely comfortable going here and I feel like I fit in! The staff is always amazing and friendly. The trainer for the classes I take is accommodating for my medical issues and checks in on me regularly during class to make sure I can handle what we are doing. Ive already recommended 2 other people to use this gym and they signed up the next day (Vegas branch) because of how awesome it is.

Havent been to this location in awhile. The two young ladies working the front desk are uninviting and not very friendly, if youre female. Their personal, non work related, conversation was much more important that two basic questions I had. Which they both answered I dont know. Not helpful. Do better.

One of the most affordable gym memberships Ive had. Plentiful locations with Black Card access. Only downsides of this location seem to be the lack of a calf machine, true bench press and the hydromassage always seems to be broken.

Its convenient to get to, and the members there seem to be as diligent as I am about cleaning up after themselves. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I love that check in and payment is contactless

They have good machines to work out, didnt give them 5 stars because of the water they provide, it doesnt have filters to take out the Chlorine from the Public water system, so you better bring your 1 gallon other wise prepared to bleach yourself.

Its only my second visit and I really like it. The place is clean all the time and the equipment is in great shape easy to manipulate and adjust.

Management is very responsive and gym is exceptionally CLEAN! Not to mention great deal of $10/mo. Highly recommend.

Planet Fitness is very clean and is a great place to work out. The Black Card amenities are on point with massage beds and chairs as well as total body enhancers. The staff members are also very friendly and professional.

Inexpensive. Convenient. Fairly clean. Decent Parking. Massage chairs and tanning beds are a bonus. This is a Basic Gym with good hours of operation at a fair price.

Not impressed with the unhelpful employee at the front desk. PF has been charging me for 2 accounts, which havent been used in years. I finally came in-person to close them, (which according to them, is the only way to close the account) only to be told Whoops, you have an outstanding unpaid balance of $10. We cant close your account. Seriously? Talk about predatory, unethical and captive business practices! Im not paying an outstanding balance of $10 when I havent used the facilities but have been billed for a long time. This is horrible- way to part company with a customer!

Closed the Gym to Inclement Weather its not even raining outside time to sign up to another gym. So unprofessional.

I canceled a membership YEARS ago and now they are trying to go after me for a balance I settled with their 3rd party billing company. Went to work out today and was rudely told I couldnt because of the account I closed that they came isnt closed and said you just dont like what you hear WOW! Just plain WOW!! How unprofessional can you be? And the kicker is they cant prove these charges. No one in their right mind will pay something without proof especially if its over a 2 years ago! Dont bother going here! They only check in people they want to. Several members (at least 5 as I was standing there trying to fix their mistakes) came in and didnt check in and was greeted by name, said they didnt have to check in so you know they profile and pick and choose whos allowed in and not. DISCRIMINATION to the FULLEST! If you arent their kind you arent allowed in and they will make it impossible! Such a disgrace!

The atmosphere is great and makes me feel welcomed! Too many times I have walked into a white and grey gym that seems too... prison like. Also, the walls are yellow and purple, but they taste red, which makes me feel... comfortable.

Need barbells. I’m not a ripped muscle gym person but some of my fitness plan calls for a barbell and weights. I can’t do what I need to because of this. Smith machine won’t work for what I need. Love the club atmosphere abs cleanliness but may have to move gyms if you don’t offer what I need and I don’t want to move gyms.

I like everything in the gym I just will like themTo add a pool lol, for those who like sauna there it none but there is tanning, hydro massage, rock massages and body enhancement ;)

This is a great little gym, and unless youre a professional bodybuilder or you need racquetball or swimming pools then this is the gym for you. It has a great staff with plenty of elliptical, there are four showers in the mens restroom they have HydroMassage and a tanning area. They play pretty good music and the gym is never too crowded to get a good workout in. Its in a good location right next to a car wash and a general store so you can get your car cleaned and do a little shopping while youre here.

I really like Planet Fitness’s business model. However, I just moved from Austin so I guess I was blissfully ignorant as to the Covid policy of other parts of Texas.No one was wearing a mask working out as they do in Austin. Doesn’t make sense considering all the heavy breathing being done. I was told masks are required in “common areas” but everywhere is a common area - this is a public place.The tanning bed also did not have cleaning solution so you can’t clean up after yourself.

BEWARE!!! I have been trying on numerous occasions to get membership fees credited back to my account and as well as monthly membership that should have never been debited as well. I have been there in person 3 times and have called to speak with the GM (Laura) and my conversations with her are uncaring, not professional and just sad representative of gym. I will never consider rejoining and I promise I will make sure to let everyone know not to even consider joining PF. I am in the customer service industry and I promise you that if I had the same attitude I would not be working . It is very sad that PF works so hard to get your business, but, when you close your membership, now you have to worry if they will continue to take money out of your account. My next step is to go to the Better Business Bureau and fill a complaint about PF in Tomball. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!

Its very inviting. My location is honestly no judgement from anybody. When I go after work at night its a very small crowd which is nice. The employees are so nice. Always with a greeting and a smile even if its under a mask. Clean facilities. Overall a very wonderful experience. 10/10!

Called in to ask about health concerns, sanitation practices in the gym and a few other questions I had before signing back up. BRENNEN answered the phone and provided me with everything I needed to know immediately. His customer service was beyond what I could expect. To management, this guy deserves a raise! Brennen is literally the primary reason my husband and I will be coming back to the gym since we had an issue our last go around with this location. THANK YOU BRENNEN. You deserve commission because of the two new memberships your club just gained only because of the time and effort you put into providing clients with accurate and encouraging information throughout this pandemic specifically. I was very weary of coming to the gym with the health risks right now, but you have relieved a large majority of the fear I have. Truly grateful!

I started a membership 4 years ago. Shortly after I had a job change and started working out of state. I tried to call and cancel my membership over the phone, but was told I had to give the request in person. For 4 years I’ve paid for a service I couldn’t use! Then today I showed up, in person to cancel. The manager Lora was not helpful and would not give me the owner or management information because you guessed it... a policy! I would not recommend a gym that does not put their customers first! I would be embarrassed to work here!

Ive been trying to call to ask questions, but the phone is always busy. It will ring once or twice then go busy. Longest Ive tried calling in one sitting is 2hrs with the same results.

Its very clean very professional. I am disabled and did not see any real accessibility other than the shower was and the front door was blocked off not sure what for. The staff is very helpful but changing a lot.

I havent been in over a year and they refuse to cancel my membership. They expect me to pay for a membership i cant use for forever.

Great place, never had an issue and everyone is super nice. My only thing would be that its a very popular place so its gets crowded. For anyone who likes it when the gym is empty, go at night or during the morning/afternoon-ish. :)

If I could give 0 stars,I would. Membership should not even be active at this point, and after losing my job due to COVID-19, good ol Planet Fitness decided to OVERDRAW my account with fees INCONSISTENT with my previous monthly billing. I was depending on that money for necessities, and I could not get a hold of a SINGLE human via phone. I cannot even call someone to see if my account is still showing up as active. Ive been getting charged for a gym membership I HAVENT USED IN 10 MONTHS. All requests must be submitted through email or the Planet Fitness website. DO NOT USE PLANET FITNESS if you do not like hidden fees or contracts. HARD PASS.

2pm - 10pm Team is the Greatest! But after 10pm is when the gym settles down enough that you can walk through without bumping into people.

They provide everything I need for all my resistance training needs in a clean comfortable place. I recommend!

This is a great all-around gym. If youre into heavy lifting youre going to have a hard time finding the weights for that. But if you like cardio and machines you can get a great workout and its always clean.

Great place! The trainer (Gosh... Cant remember names... Danielle I think?) is very nice and explains things well. Im really big and at first I was really nervous, but no one was mean to me and no one cared or stared at me. Everyone I talked to was nice. I took the 30 minute circuit and PF360 Refresh classes today, they were fun and easily adjustable for your level. It was quiet and there were a lot of really fit people there but they were nice, the ones I talked to! Ive talked to maybe 4 employees and they were nice and explained things and answered questions well. The trainer showed us modifications for if you arent quite ready to do some of the moves!The pricing and buyout fee was well explained and they had me sign stuff regarding it, so those who say they werent told may have just forgot!I think you should only join if you really do plan on going. I would go just for the 30 minute express and PF360 refresh class, they are SO fun! I especially like the bungee things and the straps!

Love this gym so much. Trainer Danielle is amazing AF! She absolutely motivates you and takes the time to train you hard and makes sure you are doing the excercise right. She will not let you give up and teach you many new ways to do a workout! If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be dedicated as much as I am now to hit my goal! Oh and place is always clean and staff is always welcoming!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Recently traveled from Ohio. Stopped into locations in Memphis, Dallas and now the Tomball location. This PF was nice and clean. The staff was nice and the ropes were in great shape and gave me a good workout. Only issue was the massage tables smelled a little funny.

Jewel, the trainer, is dynamite, staff and patrons are all friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and maintained. Bring your own tunes because you may not want the beat they play. They remodeled in 2019, new cardio. Handicapped access.

This is a nice place but beware signing a service agreement. You have to provide 2 credit cards. When my first card was shut down do to fraud protection, I was charged $15.00 late fee to run the second card. When this was discovered, I called to let them know about the fraud problem and give them a new card. The WOULD NOT refund the $15.00. I told them, okay, then I would like to cancel my membership. The only way to cancel it, is to come in or send a letter in writing. So I sent a check and letter certified mail. Never heard back. Then got another text saying I still owed. I called the gym they said you cant cancel if you have a balance. There was a check with the certified letter. They dont take checks. I had to go to the gym and pay the last month of membership (since they dont take checks) so that I could cancel. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS GYM, THEY HAVE NO FLEXIBILITY WHEN IT COME TO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

PF lost the certified letter and check that was delivered to them on December 28, 2018. They still insist I must cancel either in person or by sending another letter. I have a very good attorney. Anyone else having cancellation problems with this club please contact me. It would be fantastic to make the impending lawsuit a class action one.

Great price for 10 bucks a month as long as you dont mind paying fir the rest of your life.Joined in 2016 and used the gym for about 6 months, but I moved and joined a Crossfit Box, which Ilove.Tried to cancel my membership multipl times over the phone but they refuse, say I need to send a certified letter, which I refuse to do.Tried to go there in person, but they were closed for remodeling.Its now 2020, havent worked out there over 3 years and they continue to bill me and refuse to stop billing me.Stay far far away from these scammers.

I used to say 5 stars but the new cardio equipment was a HUGE DOWNGRADE.... we hate them- they dont do as many functions as the old equipment, and they are easy to accidentally shut off then you have to wait for them to come back up- disappointing.

A -5 star Horrible experience. I do not recommend ever using this location. The GM never calls you back and the managers are pointless cant help you with anything to do with billing beside tell you what the other one told you . They cant explain why they received all of your credit cards( not just the one you gave them) information and they charge your card without approval.

Always too cold, cant get a good sweat. Tv always on kid stuff and staff doesnt have access to change so you have to watch cartoons and not sports. Its a freaking gym not a daycare. I would recommend the location on 1960 better to customers.Although the staff are always nice here, they have little power to improve experience.

Great gym I think its pretty clean and the people are really nice, but they really do need a pool in there.

If you enjoy HIIT. Dont come here. The treadmills are extremely cheap and inferior. The touch application barely works. These treadmills are different and worse than any planet fitness Ive ever visited. Theres no way to change speeds and adjust training. Worst treadmill of any facility Ive ever visited and this is what I do for a living.

This is a good gym. Staff is great, machines clean and if you report an issue staff quickly attends to the matter. Showers, restrooms and lockers are also clean. Cant deny that it can get packed round 4pm to 7ish. Yet, majority of gyms have the same issue. Communities grow and expected. ...overall 4 of 5 stare
