Rosie was the least helpful rental car agent that I’ve come across in a very long time. I would never use this location again. We showed up 3 hours after the reservation time. I was unaware (my bad for not reading the fine print, especially during a pandemic car shortage) of the 2 hour window Hertz gives to pick up a reservation. Rosie told me it was one hour which was contradictory to the fine print I read after the fact. She didn’t seem to want to help at all. Granted, if I don’t follow procedures, she’s under no obligation. I would think if your business IS customer service, you might at least give it a college try. After she told me that the vehicle I rented was no longer available, there was a lot of awkward silence where she didn’t say anything to me that one might expect. For instance, “let me see if a different location has a vehicle available”. Eventually, I asked if I should just go away or if she was going to try and find something for us. She did end up helping, but it was a terrible customer service experience. I called to see if this location knew the after hours drop off procedure for the Jersey Village location when I couldn’t reach Jersey Village by phone. Sadly, Rosie answered the phone with her sad lack of customer service skills again and was unhelpful. Never ever again wouldI rent from this location, and probably not even Hertz even though the Jersey Village group was MEGA helpful and understanding of what it means to be in a customer service role.

As far as Customer service, the counter agent was cordial. He assisted in connecting my phone to the vehicle...lol.The vehicle was nice, but it wasnt exactly cleaned well, in my opinion.My only, actual issue was with returning the car. My reservation return time was 12:30, but the office was closed and didnt have instructions for after hours return. I spent more than 20 mins on the phone with customer service... found a resolve.

I walked in this location with no reservation and Theo did a great job helping me out. Gave me a good price on a rental car that I could use until my car was fixed. They did a great job documenting any scratches that were on the car that I rented so that I would not be held liable for it when I returned it. I would rent from these guys again anytime.

Have you ever watched the vehicle you reserved be rented to someone else right before your eyes? I have, thanks to this Hertz location. I reserved a Pro Master van last week and even called to verify on Tuesday the 25th of Aug. After assurance about my reservation by one of their employees, I showed up on the 26th at 8:45 am and was relived to see the van in the parking lot. When entering the office, I witnessed the agent finishing up paperwork with another customer. She then proceeded to walk out to said van and deliver it to the other customer. When she came back in the store she offered me a smaller van for my 8 day rental, stating that they were in the same class. This is like comparing a Ford Ranger to a F-250. Needless to say I refused, told her to cancel my reservation, and left. With this type of customer service it is no wonder that Hertz has filed for bankruptcy.To the person who replies to these reviews: If you really are genuinely concerned about customer service, please only reply if you can quote my reservation number and a reason why your company failed to provide that quality service you keep going on about.

Had a rental with Hertz through State Farm after someone backed into my car. I am tall person and require leg and headroom and an economy car was not going to cut it. I called the specific Hertz location to confirm the time of arrival on Tuesday and verify a proper car would be available. I explained that I was confirming a rental vehicle before I would confirm the drop-off time at the shop because I couldnt be without a car.Upon arrival Tuesday - AFTER dropping my car off at the repair shop - the agents informed me they didnt have a car. They stated that they couldnt find one at a nearby location either. They stated that a vehicle would probably be available at about noon and they would call me. I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM!Tuesday evening I finally called State Farm and told them the issue and I would not work with Hertz, they told me that they had a contract with Hertz and that I had to request another company specifically because they (SF) couldnt outright offer another option.Someone from the Hertz call center called me late Wednesday evening and asked if I still needed a vehicle. I explained the situation and the Hertz rep responded apathetically.Hertz should send me a customer survey; apparently they dont care about customer service!

Terrible service, wouldnt ever reccomend. Made a reservation for a car online. And when I get there they tell me 1. They dont have the vehicle I reserved 2. They cant get one and wont get one for me. 3. There are places across the street that also rent cars. So along those lines I reccomend you go across the street first and use this place as a last resort and only in desperation. Anywhere else would be better, they say so themselves.

They are the worst!!! I prepaid for a rental and went to pick up my vehicle and they did not have one. The office said I would receive a refund within 2 business days. I called 2 days later to customer service and they said it was not 2 day it is 7 business days. Today is the 7th and no refund. Called customer service again and they tell me the refund is not even processed and it will take another 7 business from today. THEY ARE THIEVES!! RENT FROM ANYWHERE ELSE! ZERO STARS

This rating is not based upon the actual agent, rather the company. This is a 1 man operation and the agent did the best he could given the fact he has no resources. Actually he did, he had a guy there who was wearing a Hertz jacket but didnt help in anyway, as a matter of fact, he was sitting in the lobby with the customers and decided to go in the back when the customers started arriving. Later I heard him tell another employee, I am just here to drive!. The customer service/customer experience is horrible, simply horrible. I would expect this business to be open and ready for the busiest time of the day, but they werent. I was able to listen to the phone ring uncontrollably for over 30 seconds at a time and watch other customers sit and mill around. I had to come here due to a car dealer agreement. I would never come here voluntarily and Hertz get your act together.

THIS COMPANY HAS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF that I have ever experienced. My car was rear ended and I was promised I would get a full size sedan just like my vehicle. My car was rented out from the Katy location and when I picked up they gave me a Kia Soul which I explained there is not enough room in that vehicle for car seats. The Katy location told me just take the car we will replace it at ANY hertz location. This tomball location was more convenient closer to work. When I spoke with Anthony 3 times today he reassured me ma’am I will have a full size sedan ready by 5pm.I also just to be on the safe side made a reservation to ensure my rental car was secured as they instructed me to do so! I come in today to pick up and the same exact vehicle I was promised was rented to a walk in! When I told them I had a reservation, the hertz salesman knowing he had already made this lady pay even though she was a walk-in basically told her well take this car if you want it(Which was the Kia Soul i had)They did not say sorry they did not acknowledge my reservation or ANYTHING!!!! Luckily I was able to call State Farm and get a reservation with enterprise instead!! Although it was hertz’s peonlem to begin with they never took accountability!!! They left me talking all by myself!I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!Needless to say the manager also useless he has been driving the car that was promised to two people! STAY AWAY!!!!

This is the worst car rental place I have ever used. There is an enterprise within walking distance from this place. I only used it because my car was being repaired at Tomball Dodge and they have a shady deal going between them so you have to use this car rental place. The cars were trash. They charged me a ton of money when my warranty company paid for all the car rental. Neither place would do anything about the mistake. DO NOT EVER RENT A CAR FROM THIS HERTZ. You will really regret is. I wish I had not used Tomball Dodge or Hertz car rental.
