Tomball Dodge replaced some items that were on recall on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The waiting areas and restrooms are clean, the employees are helpful, friendly and professional. Vernon was awesome! We are having a hard time getting all of the parts we need and he keeps me updated and informed. He is a pleasure to work with! All in all, a good experience! I will definitely return if needed.
Just bought a 2021 Ram 2500 from this dealership over Memorial Day weekend and would like to share my experience. Honestly, the only reason we bought our new truck when we did and from this dealership is because of Sunny. He sold us our first truck roughly a year ago and we had such a very positive experience not only with him but the entire staff we worked with in closing. We knew we had to at least give Sunny first dibs at our search and we do not regret it one bit. Even better experience this time around and I would say that we are 99.9% positive that we are going to buy the next vehicle from Sunny @ Tomball Dodge. If you do buy a vehicle be sure to take the post-survey on your experience. Only critique I have is not with the dealership, but with the survey. Their scale system is very dramatic with what 1-10 represents. I would have given them 10 across the board, but 7 is outstanding and 10 is “exceptional”. Same darn thing. No one’s perfect, so please fix the survey if your feelings are easily hurt.Lastly! Go see my guy Sunny at Tomball Dodge if your looking for a vehicle. You will not be disappointed.
Its good to have your vehicle repairs by folks who are certified...That being said, expect a 33% markup on literally anything and an automatic $150 charge for diagnosis. This gets removed if you get service, BUT it really is just a hostage tactic to force you to get service there. Leaves a pretty bad taste in your mouth!!! Service guys are really nice though... Probably get blamed for a lot of this, sadly.
My vehicle is a 2021. It took it in for an issue with the lumbar in the drivers seat, rubber coming off the back door, oil change, tire rotation and for them to put the mount on for my license plate. After 3 days with no car, I get mad enough to go pick it up. My oil and tires were the only things done. My car sat on the lot for the other days. I could not wait any longer. When they knew I was coming to get my keys, they did put on the license plate and left my keys at the front desk. I was having to beg for rides to and from work. It would be nice if you could actually make an appt and be seen. The items that were being done were all under warranty. I have only owned the car for a few months. It would have been nice to get a follow up call from the service advisor instead of a non response from a text sent.
Going to get parts is always easy and hassle free! I get a call or text message when my parts come in and they are always ready when I get there
The service was great the salesman went out of his way to accommodate us he is the best salesman we have ever had . He was very knowledgeable to with all the trucks he showed us . We will come back to Tom Ball to see him again
Tomball Dodge service department got my truck in and out in a very timely matter. Thanks to Matt, my service advisor, for all your help and your professionalism.
The first time I called i was put on hold and no one ever came back to the line. Alex was very nice, I came in for 1 recall on my Renegade and was told there were 2, 1 was performed, the other needed a part ordered. I told Alex I needed it repaired is going out of town on Friday May 21, he said it would only take a couple of days to get part. That was last Wednesday, no word yet.
Excellent customer service from start to finish. The service department was timely and fixed my issues with out delay, working with a known issue.Vernon kept me updated and followed up with the manufacturer. I used other dealerships in the past none where as fast and reliable.
After waiting 3.5 hours, Ram Care Tow company never showed up. Had to call MY insurance company to get my truck towed. My 2021 Ram was dropped off at Tomball Dodge but Service Department stated they never received it. Asked my salesman to check if it was there. No response from him. Finally received a call from Service. They found my vehicle. I was told by service writer he was going to call me back within 30 minutes with an update on my vehicle. Never heard back from him. I also told him I needed a loaner or a rental but he stated he didn’t have either even though I pay for this service. Ended up missing two days of work due this poor customer service just to find out that they couldn’t figure out why the truck wouldn’t start. Nice! I would love to get a phone call from the Service Manager, Director or Owner so I can tell them what I think of their BS service department!!!UPDATE 5/7/2021While my truck was at the body shop, it would not start once AGAIN (but as the dealership stated, there was nothing wrong with it). Body shop inspected and tested battery. Body shop found battery was not holding a charge. Body shop replaced battery to get vehicle started. Vehicle appears to be running as designed at this time. Can’t wait to find out who’s paying for this! I definitely know it won’t be me!!! I also called the service manager (Greg) and discussed this matter with him at 9:00 am requesting him to call me ASAP. I called the dealership and spoke directly to my salesman and he verified Greg was there and hand delivered my information to Greg requesting him to call me. 12:00pm no call. Sent my salesman a text message. 2:10pm, received call from an unknown service advisor stating he was told by the service manager (Greg) to call me to get my vehicle brought in for service. What EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATION!!! I proceeded to ask this advisor to speak to Greg as I had requested since 9:00am. Finally spoke with Greg. I asked Greg if he received my voicemail that morning. Greg stated he had not been in his office ALL DAY, but okay. I then asked Greg if he received my information I gave my salesman that morning. He said he did. I asked Greg why he decided he wasn’t going to call me back? He told me when my salesman gave him my information, he had stuffed in his pocket and forgot about it. So this is my take on this pathetic customer service experience. Greg couldn’t have cared less about my situation. Maybe it’s his personality and demeanor but I wouldn’t think it would be considering his CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION! When you are being asked to call a customer, CALL THEM!!!
I got there a little after 9:20 asked for an oil change. I was told it would be maybe an hour and a half.. Shortly after sitting down I was told there were 2 recalls. The advisor wasnt sure how much longer they would take; they were software updates.. Close to an hour later the service advisor comes to ask if I wanted the other recommended services done (another $1100+); I declined. My vehicle was ready after 12:20...there were several people that came after and left before me. I was only updated once if you can call it that. As I walked up to the advisor to ask about getting my car washed, he said they are working on it before I got a word out.So I spent 3 hours at the dealership for an oil change, tire rotation, and 2 software updates. I did not enjoy my experience...
Vernon was extremely helpful and organized. He further helped me in understanding exactly what I needed to do to get my car fixed the right way, and had my car out in good time.
***HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE***Brought my vehicle in on a Thursday, heard from the shop late Monday of what the issue was. Didn’t hear any status updates for 3 days and only after I called them and sat on hold for almost 2.5 hours getting bounced between multiple people that either wouldn’t answer or would try and transfer me. Not even my service advisor called me back after I left him a message. So, I go in to pick up my vehicle, my service advisor won’t even look at me, and I quickly get sent over to the cashier. And now I know why, the price I was quoted was not what I was being asked to pay - the price went up almost $150 more. They didn’t even do a free wash on the car before returning it.
The employees here are great and willing to help however they can.
Very good service, I would definitely recommend this service department! I spoke James on the phone and discussed the the issue of my 2020 RAM, told him I’d bring it on a Monday morning. James was a’lil busy so Vernon spoke with me and got the paperwork started. Met James later he explained things to me, tried to get me a rental but none were available. James did an amazing job getting the truck done and I had it back on Friday morning! Thankyou, Tabitha Hobgood
My service advisor Nick was very helpful and professional. He kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle while it was being serviced. I will say that it took the service guys 2 hours to complete my oil change. It was a Friday and my appointment was at 1pm. Overall it wasn’t a terrible experience and I really like the staff at the dealership. Just wish my oil change time could be cut down to 30-45 minutes, especially when I make an appointment.
They were super busy but the service advisor kept us up to date on the status of our jeep.
Glenn is a pro. It’s obvious he cares about his customers’ satisfaction. The communication was proactive, thorough & every expectation set was met spot-on. Glenn is the kind of employee that inspires repeat buyers. Great work.
I took my vehicle in to analyze the check engine light. Other items were addresses, but the items associated with the check engine light. On top of that I was never informed that additional repairs were needed until I picked up my vehicle. I won’t be using the service again
They had to repair exhaust manifolds and do oil change and rotate. They did amazing and had it out before expected!
The service was great Thanks to Wendy, Chloe and James. I highly recommend this dealership.
I brought my Jeep in for a check engine light and some errors codes. They fixed the issues, replaced some parts, and kept me in the loop the whole time. I received regular updates from the service representative, Thomas. Great experience.
They were very professional and they took care of me quickly with a personal touch. I will definitely use them again.
Brandon my contact person was great to work with... He kept me informed on the work being done... Tech did a great job... I will return even if just for a oil change... They replace my brake booster... and strut brace...
Out side of losing my keys, which they i locate, they were very thorough and the staff was very friendly. They found the problem with our car.
This was my first visit to Tomball Dodge since purchasing my Jeep to have oil changed and tires rotated. I had a 3 hour wait while this service was being done. Now I understand the service dept can be overwhelmed at times with cars but me waiting 3 hours!! I made a couple trips up to the service desk to inquire about my vehicle and wasn’t told a whole lot since the person who was in charge of seeing my vehicle was being serviced couldn’t be found. Evidently at lunch which I had no problem with. The thing that upset me the most was there was no communication. When I arrived I asked about how long this would take he informed me an hour to an hour and a half. I waited 3 hours with nobody letting me know how things were progressing.Very disappointed with Tomball Dodge and very likely I won’t be back.
Excellent all around work. I could definitely tell s difference in the performance of my vehicle. Tomball Dodge is the best service department by far
Tomball dodge services are deficient and price abusive, arrogant people, I feel, they steal from me a lot money.
James the service associate and Chris the technician were super awesome and amazing. My Jeep was towed to the service department 10 minutes before closing and I needed my key fob synced to my Jeep. I know it was super inconvenient for them but it was a true blessings for me. They took care of me with awesome customer service and great patience. They were super nice.
After making multiple calls after my car was in the shop for several days trying to get an update, I was told that they couldn’t find any issues. I told them what they had to do in order to see the problem and I guess they didn’t want to do that. They told me I was good to go and the next morning my car still has the same problem. This same thing happened the last time I took my car in to another dealership. After a quick google search on my own, I feel I know the problem and will take my business elsewhere.
Vernon was AWESOME. He kept me up to date on everything that was going on. He was very professional and always on time. I will not take my Jeep anywhere else. Vernon is an asset to your organization.
Very pleased with everything that was done. James was very helpful and kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle.
I made an 8 AM appointment for a simple routine oil change and tire rotation. TWO HOURS later it was finally done. Why bother taking an appointment when you don’t have a spot for the vehicle when it arrives? I had received a coupon in the mail for a $36 oil change, but it did not include enough oil for my vehicle so after the extra oil and all the taxes, I ended up spending $70 anyway. I may as well have just gone to Jiffy Lube, I will never go back to the dealership for routine maintenance.
Awful! I took my Jeep in for a routine oil change and at the same time requested they mount a tire on my matching wheel since 2 days prior I had a blow out and the tire was on a different rim. After 3 hours my vehicle was “done”. No idea where my service person had gone so I went to the cashier where she had no idea where the paperwork was. After some time of rifling through stacks of paper she realized it hadn’t all been printed. I paid then left. Less than 2 miles down the road my indicator flashed there was low tire pressure (20 psi) I immediately turned around and headed back to the dealership and before entering I walked around to discover the valve stem cover was missing as well as the center cap to my wheel. Sloppy! I’m not a fan of going to dealerships anyway because it seems I’m always being harassed to trade in my vehicle but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any dealership. It was my first and last visit there.
I was treated well and the service was good. Sandra in The Service Department kept me informed throughout the process.
This was a recall appointment. Everything went well. Zach was very helpful.
Nick took the time to keep us updated and getting back with us in a timely manner. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!
Very professional service. Dont mind waiting a bit more for the job to be done correctly. I bought my vehicle from them and I will continue to return to this location even though I live 50 miles away.
Had a scheduled oil change at 1130. Vehicle wasn’t done until 130. I was told that 2 hrs is typical for oil changes. Recommend that appointments are pushed out so people aren’t stuck waiting so long.
Took care if us well when brought our lemon we bought from another dealership. They went above and beyond- Matts the man!
Great staff nice dealership clean friendly staff best dealership ever visit
The two sales men that worked with me were very helpful but unfortunately the rest of the experience, I had was not so well. I understand car shopping is stressful but for this purchase. It was to the point that I never want to do business with this company again nor will I recommend any of my family or friends. I’m still currently waiting on my refund.
James and Paul were a great help and helped us through the process of our service to make sure we left happy!
Glenn was very infomative about the recall. He check to make sure I was comfortable and if I needed any thing. I felt very comfortale with the service . Everyone was friendly and engaging. I will be back.
The Tomball Dodge service team did a great job in repairing my Dakota. My service advisor, Nick, worked with my warranty provider, his team and myself to ensure the right parts were used and the warranty covered them. The service team did a great job installing, adjusting and testing the new transmission. They cleaned and washed my truck before giving it back to me. I will use them for all my future service needs.
Glenn was my service advisor and he was great. Very friendly and professional.
Easy to work with, very friendly and professional, got the job done right and promptly, my vehicle warranty process was easily addressed and my service advisor was great through the whole process! Thanks tomball dodge!
It was great! Polite, friendly service. Thank you.
I will NEVER go back there again! Is not the first time I go there for EXPRESS OIL CHANGE, this is my second time, only because I had a coupon and I was in the area...but both times it has taken 3+ HOURS to do just an oil change...take note, all of you out there! I told you so...
Chris in the pre own department is real good at his job...Knows what his doing and what a coustomer needs we had the best experience...Also in the finance department ones we were in the office it took no time at all to be finish and in our new truck..This was the best experience we have ever had in a dealer ship..
Had my car for 2 weeks. I felt like I was being strung along as each day something new was added to the bill that needed to fix. Communication was ok at times through text message but as the weeks past it seem less frequent as if they were avoiding me.I do appreciate that they had made deductions to my bill based upon the extended time they had my car but I was severely inconvienced and felt a lot of mistrust.I have my car now and now something else doesn’t seem to be functioning the same prior to having work done but I will go somewhere else to get that fixed
Service was great and very quick. The reason for 3 stars is that I reached out to the service desk ahead of my appointment and never heard back from them on my questions.
Glenn was very friendly and awesome! I was in and out! Definitely the best service!
Thomas was my service man and was very helpful
Very professional service, couldn’t have had for a better experience, found the exact truck I was looking for the price I was looking for in about 2 hours I was in and out. If you looking for any dodge/ Chrysler/ Jeep / Ram vehicles, Tomball is the place to be ask for Kerrie Hines!
Kept me informed. Did what they said they would do.
I always feel at home at Tomball Dodge with their personable and friendly service. It is so good to know there is still a business around that demonstrates and represents trust and integrity in their actions and more importantly in the way they treat their customers.
The crew with parts and service were very helpful and professional. They had a great deal of knowledge and ideas for what I needed to fix my truck. They kept me posted every step of the way. I appreciated their friendliness and the time they took to listen to my concerns. Thank you especially Jenny and Paul! Great job!
Service was excellent. Made the key on the spot.
Sandra away amazing! She helped so much withThe air bag recall!
Worst service took twice as long as told an left truck dirty with grease from mechanicNot even fixed properly
My service advisor, Nick was courteous and kept me informed, however, my ac issue was not corrected after leaving my Ram overnight for diagnostics. Its possibly worse than before and only cools properly on Max. Very frustrating.
Howard was awesome and so very helpful. Great communication and customer service. Hi highly recommend them!
If you grew up like me thinking that bringing a truck to the dealership youll pay more, your wrong. They have beaten or are just as competitive then your neighborhood mechanic, but 10x more professional and meets their deadlines. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicles. When you describe the problem, they know exactly where to look and what your talking about. Cant beat them if your concerned about time and money... Seriously 5 stars... and I never give reviews
I want to thank Howard for managing my case and his crew for making the repair. To set the story for yall; I bought a nearly new 2020 Warlock with about 10k miles on it a few weeks back. I owned the truck for about 72 hours when the service airbag system light came on. Well thats a safety issue so I took my new to me truck to my local Dodge dealer in Navasota, assuming it would be covered under warranty since it was only 10k miles and this was a safety system problem (it was a 1.5 hr drive to the original dealership). My husband looked into it and apparently wiring harnesses for the airbag systems on new Warlocks are a known problem under the drivers seat. The service dept at the local dealership evaluated the truck and told me that we were right, the problem was the wiring harness under the drivers seat, but then told me he would have to charge me for the repair because it looked like it had been messed with.I asked the service member what he meant and he said to me welp, do you live outside the city in the country? If ya do ill bet a squirrel climbed up in your truck and chewed through that cable and got back out, Ive seen it happen before, probably a squirrel or a rat.He expected me to buy the story that in the 72 hours I owned my truck an animal got into the internal cab, chewed one wire and got out without leaving any trace. I admit, I was a little insulted.I explained that cant be the case because I had only owned the truck for 72 hrs before the warning message and was told that regardless, he was going to charge me for repairs. So I made a call to Tomball DCJ, Howard answered and I explained the story I had just been told by my local dealership. Howard told me that he would make sure it was taken care of but advised that with Hurricane Laura coming they may have to keep it a few days, I told him I dont mind and then asked if i need to make an appoiment. Howard replied you just did.The truck was evaluated, repaired and ready to go over the weekend. In person Howard was warm, friendly, personable and relatable. I never met the service crew but they did the work so they get 5 stars from me as well. From now on if I need repairs, warranty or not, I would like to utilize Tomball DCJ
I always feel like I’m taken care of when I bring my work cargo van in to have it serviced. They are doing a great job providing great customer service in my book. 5 stars to this dealership for hiring employees who care about there employers goals to provide the best customer service possible!!
My mother raised me that if you dont have anything good to say then do not say at all..
Nick A was on top of everything at the service department. He contacted the warranty company and took care of everything. Top notch service. They even had it done before I had to return my rental car.
I took my Jeep here for service. Vernon at the service center was amazing.....! He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything so I felt comfortable. I reccomend Vernon and this service center. To be honest I never really take my vehicles back to the dealership after I purchase. But after this experience I will only do that. I had an amazing experience thank you again Vernon for all you help.
Thank you Will, for all your help. Ill be returning if I need anything else. ;)
Had an oil leak for a few months coming from the front seal. Vehicle only has 67k miles on it. I was told there was nothing they could do to help. 1-1/2 months out of warranty and had been leaking for 2 months. Ok my fault for not bringing it back sooner. Just not good business. And to top it off they say I need another 2800$ work of Maintnence done. Wow. Won’t be going back there for sure. Oil leak fixed 1962.00 dollars later, no more Ram for me !!!
I usually dread going into dealerships for service but Howard has made the experience so fast and seamless. Super friendly and makes a point to get the job done and done right. Thank you!
I’ve been having a really tricky situation with my Jeep and the warranty and some engine trouble right as I moved here to Houston. Howard has gone above and beyond to to help me! I can’t say enough good things about his customer service & attention to detail. I’ve really felt like he is there to help me & make it as easy as possible and I’m so grateful! Car problems can be stressful & y’all have made it so much easier than I expected! Thank you!!!
Oil leak. Brakes and new battery.
Very polite staff. Very quick and efficient.
They were polite and helpful
My problem was diagnosed incorrectly. The tech said that the tire was the problem. The problem was the wheel. It was out of round
Sales guy knew nothing. Jeeps are not that hard. Learn your stuff
Great service, fast, friendly, and professional!
Took vehicle for recall. Service adviser was great, dealership not so much. Post review on Google. Will never go back.
Great service. Replaced the gps map system under warranty.
Radio went out when I hit a bump in the road so they ordered a new one for me. Serviced my 2014 Jeep Dragon to keep it in tip top shape from front to rear and detailed it also. Howard Hunt and his Team are #1 @ Tomball Dodge, Inc. I Rate them a 10.
I have purchased many vehicles here and very happy with my salesman Tommy, hes the best! My truck is in for repairs and Nick is awesome at letting me know the status and I am very pleased with everyone 😀
I went in for a recall. I’ve never been to this particular location. Everyone was welcoming and very professional from the beginning to the end! I definitely will return!
I always use Tomball dodge for all my oil changes, services and anything else I need for my Charger. Service is always excellent and surprisingly cheaper than most alternatives Id looked at previously, especially considering its an authorized dealer and the standard of work is top notch. Would highly recommend and probably will get my next lease car from them on the strength of the service department.
The steering arm stabilizer was not available so Tomball Dodge gave me a loaner. It was finally replaced although I am concerned about this part as this is the second one replaced on this Jeep.
Had an amazing experience at this shop, highly recommend them!
William the service advisor was very helpful and kind
Great team and great service writers. Very knowledgeable. If you need Ram or Dodge service this is where you need to go. No questions. Ask for Glenn.
Great friendly professional service.Back to Tomball dodge every time.
Had dealership conduct recall work, got me in quickly on a busy Saturday and taken care of. Also parts dept walked me though some repairs I was looking at doing myself and sold me the parts. Service dept also brought up a few safety issues with my vehicle found in their free inspection while performing the recall service that I can take care of myself but wouldnt have known otherwise until there was an issue.
Had an inspection and had a battery put in. I had a good experience
The best service around. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.
Alex was first class, go see Alex and he will get you taken care of
Car still leaking oil/fluids after paying $1500 to replace engine coolant. I reached out to my consultant (Nick) with no response.
Excellent attention - thanks to Thomas
Salesman was very nice and help me understand everything I need to know about my truck.Thank you very much Tomball Dodge.
I had bad service experiences at the Dodge/Jeep dealership I purchased my vehicle from and decided to try Tomball Dodge. This was an awesome experience and Vernon was great to work with. I will definitely be back!
My wife and I visited the service department to get our radio screen looked at. Nick was extremely polite and helpful.
The service personnel were professional and timely in fixing my Jeep. Their communication is as excellent which is always really important and they were not pushy with getting additional services done. I’ll definitely go back!
