To whom it may concern,I have personally witnessed the presence of roaches at the Uhaul Storage Facility on Washington St, in Downtown. Toledo, OH. I saw them crawling throughout the aisles (floor & walls), some both dead and alive. I am truly concerned for the safety of my belongings. This is unhealthy & unsanitary for Uhaul’s customers and I am disgusted by the idea of an infestation amongst my treasured possessions. Uhaul has never contacted me concerning my things. This is poor customer service, but most importantly shows the lack of care Uhaul has for its clients & customers. Please do something about this! This store is infested with roaches! Would NOT recommend shopping with them! They haven’t even let us customers know of the infestation!

ROACHES! Ive had my things in storage for a few months and havent had a problem until recently. The units are infested with roaches! Talked to management about it and they said they have been working on the problem but I have to throw out everything because the issue persists. Im paying too much for a unit to have all of my things infested by roaches. The issue has been goin on for a month now on the 4th floor and it seems the infestation has gotten worst!I would honestly find another storage unit unless you want to waste money getting everything infested! Just wow

Rented a 8’ truck here. Staffs are very nice compared to other U-Haul locations in Toledo. Spent a little too much on gas while returning, so make sure to fuel up before returning. Awesome experience here! Five stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Just wanted to say how great my experience was with these guys they are very professional I called in to rent a truck and got all set up then the fun started they handed me a key and Never told me or showed me the truck mind you I’m the only one there I was told to match the numbers from key to truck so then I have to remove all the cardboard advertisements they have in the windows good thing I was not in a big hurry so after I finally find truck and get the cardboard put aside I shut the door and the handle for the window falls off so now I have to go back and let them know that the window is broke so I don’t get charged the next day once again so glad I have plenty of time to waste and was not on any schedule so then I do what I need to do return the truck and am now charged around $6 for gas after I put gas in already so I just thought that I would share that this was a great experience and that I only wish that the truck would have been inspected the way it was for drop off that it was for pick up thanks guys you are truly professionals and have mastered your craft thanks

If I could give this location half a star I would. We needed a truck and storage. Just like others have mentioned, we were told to look for the numbers on top of the truck as well as where to pick up the dolly. The first guy was too hungry to slow down to show me how the lock works, I just spent $14 on a lock. Need the lock cut off? You have to make an appointment for the maintenance guy and it costs $50. Thats ok, we found a storage $39 cheaper a month and its the same size.

The staff is totally awesome! They are very kind and take their time to be a major help. The storage units are very clean and have alarms.

Great Experience at U-Haul Downtown Toledo today. Cody was very polite, helpful, and professional with my box truck return and storage unit rental. Facilities were clean and temperature controlled with loading bay and carts available for free. I highly recommend going to this location and asking for Cody.

The lady that checked us in was very polite, helpful and understanding.

Dont bother reserving at this location. Tried three separate moves and every time get a call saying my pickup location has changed. They dont make any of the order right. Would be nice to get what I ordered!

Had to be the worst service ever this mornin on Washington street. Receptionist was ghetto and VERY rude. I tried to call the one on alexis to speak to manager they gave me beavis and butthead talking in circles. I will b taking my things out of storage and putting them elsewhere..

Every 10x10 storage locker had a huge pillar. They would not lower the price or offer a larger storage at the same rate.

We rented a truck and trailer from Uhaul to move cross country. A tire blew on the car trailer in toledo. This was the closest location, less than 3 miles from us. After leaving us stranded on the side of the road for four hours it took the Toledo Police to threathen to come and arrest the manager of this location for reckless endangerment of a child to finally get them to respond. Still took them nearly an hour after the police chief threathened the manager. Meanwhile a Toledo police officier stayed with us for two hours until they came and even had another officier bring us water and even Taco Bell for the kids. Cant say enough for the Toledo P.D. but this Uhaul location is terrible

They dont even come out to do an inspection anymore...they send you pictures of the truck taken in very poor lighting to agree or disagree to the conditions...it is impossible to do with what they send you!! Get off your butt and come outside with me....no customer service
