This is the most unorganized and unprofessionally operated “medical” facility I’ve experienced to date. After my son was fitted for a helmet, we were told to come back in if he had any redness or the helmet needed to be trimmed or modified in any way. He did have multiple red spots but they refused to see us. They simply said “go buy some sand paper and sand the helmet down yourself.”For his one month check up, they called to cancel my sons appointment the morning of - after we were in route to the office. They have rescheduled twice, and cancelled on us twice. Now, we have left multiple messages to schedule his follow up appointment and no one will return our calls. He has had the helmet for two months now and has yet to be seen by the “Doctor” again. If you want actual quality care for your child, I highly recommend going anywhere else.
Dear Cory, I’m sorry for any communication breakdown between you, my staff and the answering service as I was totally unaware of the situation.Unfortunately I did not personally receive any emails or emergency on-call notifications from you or your wife concerning your sons issues with his cranial band until recently.Regarding your complaint that we refused to see your son the day after he received his cranial band is Simply False! Your family left for a 3 week trip to Chicago immediately after your son received his orthosis. At no point did we ever deny services for your son or receive word that your family would be returning to Toledo for an adjustment or I would have gladly accommodated you.My staff did communicate with your wife numerous times on Monday December 28th. After the pleasant email exchanges between my assistant Jacki and your wife Jacki was under the impression that all of the issues were resolved.AT NO POINT did we ever ask you or your wife to sand down the cranial band. Jacki did suggest in her email that the foam spacer be removed if the orthosis was fitting too tight. I do have copies of all the conversations that transpired on December 28th if youd like to view them.Tragically Covid 19 did affect my office staff and practice for approximately 2 1/2 weeks. Due to unforeseen circumstances we did have to cancel numerous patients over the coming weeks . Most families were appreciative that we were not exposing their children to the virus. Our answering service did receive a call from you on February 1st, 2021 the day your son had an appointment with his pediatrician. The answering service recorded the conversation explaining that our office would be opening shortly and to call us back. Unfortunately Covid was still impacting the attendance of our office staff and the phones remained off until approximately 10 am that morning. We were doing our very best with a situation beyond our control. To my knowledge no messages were left on our recorder from you or your wife that day and I did not receive any emails..I personally contacted you and your wife and offered to see your son but sadly my attempts were denied numerous times.I wish your son the very best and pray he does well.Sincerely,Dan
What an amazing experience. You can truly tell Mr. Cole loves what he does. Thank you so much for the time you took with Carly today.
Dr. Cole is great. He goes the extra mile for your child.
