TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!I asked for a medium short set with 2 gel colors was told $55. I asked him to show me the length on one finger before he started. When I looked at them they were different lengths and different sizes crooked and slanted. I told him and he tried to fix it but ended up filing the nail completely down trying to fix his mistake. (My left hand pictured is the “fixed” hand). He then proceeded to tell me he’d take $5 off for length. I told him no I’m not paying for this they’re not even short there nubs and it wasn’t what I asked for. I asked him to soak them off and do them over. The owner I’m assuming chimed in and told him to cut the other hand and let me go; and that he wasn’t going to do it they had no time. Probably because they were closing. So he cut the other hand or what was left of it I took these pictures and I left. By far THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH A NAIL SALON I DO RECOMMEND

Not a good place to go at all. The men were very rude to my mother and my sister. The one man purposely cut my sister and they painted their nails very poorly and they are very over priced

Don’t go. Go to the other salon outside the mall. This place the 25.00 express pedicure does not come with a massage as the brochure says. The technician said “it’s like a polish change”. Should’ve just did the 10 buck polish change. The polish change is only 10.00. You are better off getting the polish change. The express pedicure with tax is $26.61. It was literally a 7 minute job. Very disappointed, don’t let them fool you with the express pedicure. Their goal is to upcharge you to the $40.00 pedicure, however they tell you during your express pedicure how quick and and simple it is, they want to show you how disappointing an express pedicure is to try and up-sale you.

Overpriced & the work is not good enough for the prices they want to charge . Horrible manicure I had to ask for soak & cuticles cleaned, the buff shine & shape are not good . The white gel polish which was $20 more dollars is a terrible paint job I wanted a second color the said it would be an additional $12 plus it was $5 to remove the polish I had on my toes . That wouldve been a total of $77 for a very basic pedicure & it would have been $57 for the manicure. When I declined the extras I was told it would still be $85 plus tax ... I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!

AWFUL. Tried to over charge me by TWENTY DOLLARS, the ladies who did my toes has my big toe nail filed at an angle, so uneven. Then they tried to charge me an extra 5 for matte nails when I didn’t receive matte nails, and told me my daughter got gel nails when she was spent a total of 5 minutes on getting regular polish. Will never go back here so unprofessional and they WILL take advantage of you. Ask for prices ahead of time before coming so you can do your own math cause they are thieves here and will take your money no hesitation. Awful awful AWFUL!!!!!!!!

I have gone here for years and the last several times I felt like I was being overcharged. Today, it was a 12.00 overcharge. So when I questioned it to the nail tech, his response was prices have gone up. When I went to pay, I questioned the price again. The manager stated it was 5.00 more than what I thought. It should have been 48.00, the nail tech said 60 and the manager said 53.00. AND the french tips I got were VERY uneven and when I tried to have him fix one of the nails, he was going to cut down the others so they matched. UM, NO. They look ridiculous, one has wide tips, and the right hand is way too skinny. AND as you can still see spots of the old polish. Please visit with caution and make sure you are not taken advantage of.

I was charged $75 for these nails, I go to pay and he only gives me $20 back from a $100. I asked him why I didn’t get $5 back and he said “for tax”. THESE BASIC NAILS WERE $80!!!!! And he cut me, and left acrylic residue all over my fingers. Terrible and overpriced for poor quality. DONT GO HERE!!!!

Worst service EVER!! Paid $55+ for their “Deluxe Pedicure” it was 10 minutes long, the guy was rushing, my toe nails were left uneven, I asked them to fix them and the added a 3rd polish coat that not only was matte because they forgot to add the clear top coat but it also was blotchy. I asked for someone else to fix them and they refused, I had to go to the same guy who messed them up. The car picture is the end product. Horrible.

Horrible customer service. They overcharged me by over $20. These nails cost me $100. Not only did they overcharge me but the man doing my nails told me to “shut the f up” when I questioned why they were so expensive.

Asked for square and the nails are seriously angled instead of straight. They didnt fully remove the color I had before which would jot be so bad but they didnt even cover where they left the previous color. I would be upset but it wasnt just one nail it was like 6 of them thats very ridiculous and the owner even came over to do the polish after another employee did the shaping. He doesnt speak to you just yells across the salon how do 2 people not realize the shaping error it was supposed to be square. Will not be coming back to this salon and I dont recommend anyone goes here unless your ok with having to go pay somewhere else to fix their mistake.

So my daughter and myself went here today to both get a full set. The guy tried to charge me $60 for my daughters $35 set. Then he tried to charge me $45 he said for coffin shaping. I said Okay because thats what she wanted. When she was finished getting her nails done, they were square. Then the lady who was doing my nails tried to charge me $75 to do Ombre nails. Almost 3 hours later, turns out, she does not know how to do Ombre nails. I dont think she was even licensed to do nails at all. We will not be returning to this nail shop ever. I would not recommend this nail shop. THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU OUT OF MORE MONEY!!!!!!!

Came in with my daughter she was getting a pedicure and I was getting a full set so they started my daughters first so I wanted good 20 minutes and she told me to go to this guy in the corner I went sat down while sitting he asking why my nails broke which is non of your business Im paying u to do them not ask my why nothing since I told him Im here for one thing for him to do them not question me he gets upset tell me dont do him like that I said Im not here for u to question me Im paying u for my nails not for u to question anything so he made me get out the chair for me telling him that he was nosey

Called them to see if they were still taking appointments they said as long I signed in by 6 they could take me. (1st time customer) Got there before six signed in. They did start until after 6:30 asked for a pedicure and manicure removal of my gel paint. they were rushing the whole time. Sat in massage chair. Only got 1/2 of what I paid for in the package. Tried to call because my nails are peeling. Left 3 messages and no return call. I finally got ahold of them today 4/21 and they said there was nothing they can do. I paid over 100 for everything and my nails didnt even last 1 week. I will never go back there again!!!!! !!!!!Beware dont get scammed like I did!!!!

TERRIBLE experience!!! I went to California nails on 5/21/2019 to get a full set and spa pedicure for $75, reasonably priced. The following Saturday 5/25 the polish started falling off my toes and my nails started lifting. I called 5/28 and explained my situation a nice gentleman I spoke to told me to come in the following day 5/29 or the following Sunday 6/2 as it was too late too be serviced that day. I had some free time today 5/30 so I stopped in around 3pm and was told “come back at 4 and we will be able to fix them.” I come back after an interview it is now 5:00pm and I am told to sit and wait to speak with the manager. I then explain to her all of the events leading to that moment she says to me that they have a policy that they cannot fix my nails after a week from the original date of service. I explain that I had spoke to someone in that time and she then said I needed to speak with her but also informed me she was not there the day I called or the following so how I was supposed to have done that is beyond me, but whatever. This place is extremely racist as I witnessed an altercation between one of the male employees, still currently employeed, and an African American female client whom they overcharged $70 for a polish change and pedicure. She was asked to leave the property after he called security on her although he chased her out of the store. All of this is happening while I am there being serviced. I Will NEVER give another dime to California nails! I will post several photos of the current state of my nails 10 days after having them serviced at California nails in the franklin park mall.

One of my nails popped off netx day some of my gell polish had started to chip off as well there no sanitary and the shop dirty 👎👎.California nails very unprofessional, the lady who did my acrylic fullset she rushed a drill from bit another client .they are very unclean and unprofessional .right now my nail have infection .I do not think the lady who was doing my nails was even certified linsece nails, they very rushed .👎👎👎

When I went in the young guy was very unprofessional and kept hitting my hand. And said he is very scared. They make the enjoyment horrible and charge me extra 10 and my nails are short and the polish chipped. They refuse to honor bbb complaints

This place is awesome! My wife and I went there for the 1st time a month ago and this is the 2nd time back today. I normally don’t leave reviews but I figured I would here because of the quality of work We received . They were busy both times and I see Why, because they have the best Technicians in the game !Polite, funny and great work !

My daughter and I went in together, and each ordered the same things (acrylic french manicure and deluxe pedicure) but each received completely different final products. I would like to believe that it was that the individuals doing the work didnt understand my language which is English and is still a problem in and of itself, but I think they were just trying to rush us through and to me that its even worse. I wouldnt return. And to top it off, they were over priced.

Went in to get me and my 4 year old daughter a mani and pedi... I got a deluxe pedi and it wasnt worth it at all. Didnt feel like I sat there for more them 20 minutes. So it definitely wasnt deluxe. They tried to take my daughter on the other side of the wall to get her nails done while I was getting a pedi... I wouldnt allow that to happen. So finally I got done with my pedi and we went on the other side to get mani, mine were great but my daughters polish came off within an hour and I paid for gel... total came to $160 for the both of us and I definitely didnt feel it was worth it.

Lina did my nails today and I absolutely love it. Not only did she pay attention to the littlest of details, she was very efficient and fast! I appreciate her workmanship. There is no reason I wont come back!

Im so thankful for this salon. I came here one afternoon after receiving a botched mani just before my wedding day and they fixed me up perfectly for the big day. I will return very soon!!

Extremely overpriced. I went for a balance and a pedicure and ended up paying $96.00!!! The pedicure lasted about 15min and my nails around 20min. Anyone who gets there nails done knows a good pedicure should take about 30min. and around the same for nails. The only reason I werent is because I have an event to attend and my nail tech was booked.

I went here yesterday and it was very poor service. The young girl in the front was very rude and made an inappropriate remark about the tip I gave the nail techs. Also, the gentleman that did my nails cut them up bad, making one nail bleed. I got acrylic nails and you can actually see where the nail meets my actual nail. I asked for a design on my nails and it was poorly drawn. There was a very long line so I waited awhile to be serviced and was there for 3 hours for a full set. Once I paid, it was way too expensive for poor quality nails that cost $135. I do not recommend this place at all.

I been going there for the last three months. Yesterday was the day when I said I wasn’t going back. They charged me 58 dollars for a balance. The previous balance I had a broke nail and it was 48. I didn’t have no designs or diamonds just a color change with my balance. That place is ridiculous and just trying to get over. My nails have been ok but for them to up the price for a balance and I thought color was included. I won’t be going there no more

They are really not the cleanest nail salon & I’m not sure if they properly clean their supplies after each client. I went in to get a mani & pedi & the pedicure that I got was the express pedicure & they don’t scrub your feet underneath with this one which is $25 but if you want you feet scrubbed @ the bottom it’s $40. I personally never heard of any nail soon that won’t scrub your feet even for the cheapest cost. Secondly my manicure was $70 I’m not sure why it’s was so expensive bc it says that their acrylics full set start at $35 & I got a full set short coffin nail with French tip & it was $70. I really think they make up prices & charge you what they want bc I’m not sure how we got to $70 & it was a simple nail. Y’all don’t waist y’all money go somewhere else!

The owner’s daughter has inherited his extremely rude attitude, and there’s only one tech there that actually is good at what she does, and she may be their newest employee. The flippant remarks, the inept pedicurists and the unsanitary practices have officially become too expensive. I’d rather feast on my own phalanges than ever return there again.

Took my daughter in a few days ago to get her nails balanced, advertised for $18 (filled) and basic white tip french manicure look. $37.00 later she came out with the absolute worst nail job Ive ever seen. The nude parts were all wrong. Some had cracks, others were cloudy, the white tips were lumpy and not smooth anywhere. No clear coat. Huge disappointment. Place is over crowded. The nail techs were talking inappropriately with children present. Bad experience all around. I had to fix my daughters nails and repaint them myself at home. Waste of money. I came in like 3 weeks ago and I had paid $278 for my long nails and toes and however majority of my long nails were gone by the next week …. So I went in there and tried to get them fix and they said the person that did them had to fix them and she overly booked … so I said I can’t see anyone else they said no … so waited a couple days go back on a not so busy day and then they told me my 2 weeks was up so I had to pay for another set I told them I came in here a couple days ago and the lady that did my nails was booked so I had couldn’t get them done and I said I’m not paying $278 again the looked at me like I was stupid and called mall security since then I HAVE NOT AND WILL NOT GO BACK WORST NAIL SHOP Ever I will not go back

I used to love this salon. But in the recent times Ive went I decided I would no longer return. I had an issue with the tech basically pressuring me into getting gel polish and not allowing me to say no. I told him very clearly I wasnt interested in paying extra for a polish I will get changing in 3 weeks, but that didnt stop him from brushing it onto my nail anyway. But I bit my tongue over the extra $12 charge. The last and finally straw was when I sat under the dryer for 25 minutes and parts of the polish pooled near the ends of the nail on multiple fingers, where they smudged. And the best part was chipping 3 nails within an hour of having them done, because the tech filed the acrylics too thin.

This place had me at first but then the disappointment 🤦🏼‍♀️ They were overcrowded with the social distancing not being followed. Then the lady who did my pedicure was very aggressive & rushing. When you go to pamper yourself you want to be satisfied not rushed. Then the polish was old and dull so I ask her to remove it completely. Bottom line I paid 37.50 (pedi) for absolutely nothing and the worse experience. They have no customer service skills the energy is rush and ignore. Think twice before spending money with this salon.

I was taking advantage of because of my age. I went to get a full acrylic set done as soon as they open and the place was clean but as soon as my nails were done they charged me $90 for my full set when they were supposed to be $40. The lady who did my nails charged me an extra $50 for 2 ombre nails and for coffin shape. At first she lied to me about the acrylic powder until she put it on my nails and said she was adding $10 because it was glow in the dark When she told me it wasn’t when she first picked it out.

This nail salon is gorgeous, and the manager and staff were so friendly and helpful! The salon is clean and airy, the poetry here is very sociable. It has a special place and there are many new things, slaon has a very friendly and caring staff, I appreciate their skills, I will come back here often!

Literally the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. Paid $100 for full set & my nails are lifting 2days later and the shape is terrible..they are all different sizes. Nail techs aren’t very skilled, literally can only do the BARE MINIMUM. Definitely one of those places you go when it’s your only option. I personally Will never go here again. I got a mani and pedi with gel polish on the 22nd of July by the 24th I had polish sliding off my toes. Not to mention my finger nail have been cracking and peeling since the first day. And I paid a 100 dollars for a mani & pedi. I asked for a receipt the lady told me they don’t do cash receipts

I started going here almost 2 years ago. Andy was the absolute best nail technician they had. Ive had two others do my nails theyre very friendly, but I havent found anyone else that can do a good a job. They changed management and lost several really good nail techs. Their prices are reasonable and they now have a lady that does that BEST pedicures!

Waited about 25 minutes or less. Was told to wait inside in a chair, but as soon as I sat down another lady said I need to sit outside and wait.My massage chair needed repaired was very noisy when on so I ended up turning it off.I liked the tech, but she was on the phone half the time she was doing my pedicure.The white they were going to use on my toes for a french tip was completely dried out, so I opted out my french pedicure.By the time I got to my manicure I just wanted to be done so I opted out of a gel french tip. My nails are shaped deccently and the girl was nice, but I wasnt at all impressed.Also, my step daughter got a full set gel nail done and the color she picked out was put back on the shelf and she was told they didnt have the color..Not sure what that was about.Also, they do not take preloaded Visas as my step daughter found out today.Will continue to look for a nail salon.

The owner is very rude, he never speaks and get an attitude when asking a question about prices and services, I am one of many customers spending my money that is helping to keep their salon in business so I have every right to ask as many questions that I feel is necessary! My last visit there was for a balance I waited for over an hour. The nail techs are friendly and some do a good job, especially Teresa and Alicia, theyre my only reason for giving a three star rating because my time in their chairs are always pleasant, also theyre both my only reason for my continued business there! The owner can kick rocks!!

Worst place I’ve ever been too. Got my nails done four days ago and two have already popped off. The others are lifting. Nail tech was talking very unprofessionally about weed and a bunch of other stuff. On top of that I paid $120 for pedicure and full set. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I went here 2 days ago.... for $38 I expected my nails to look better.. she did not smooth out the under part if my nails.. so now.. I have food stuck.. under my nails. I will never go through again.

Today I came into the salon for the first time to get a full set. I usually go to a different salon but I decided because I was already at the mall I might as well get my nails done here. It was the worst experience I have ever had. The girl that did my nails did not listen to anything I said. My nails turned out absolutely terrible. They were sharp and uneven. The tech never made eye contact and seemed miserable to be there. The tech a few tables down was on her phone for the entire time she was working on her clients nails. Laughing and very inappropriate. Another tech came over to my area to show her friend a very inappropriate video. My two girls were sitting next to me and I almost vomited I was so embarrassed. My girls just got their nails painted. My one daughters nails looked like the paint was just globbed on. Two hours later they were still not dry and we just took the paint off. My other daughter didn’t get her nail polished removed before the tech just painted over it. When they charged my card $60 for doing our nails I almost cried. I left and went straight to my normal salon and they were appalled. They ended up fixing my nails for free. I will never step foot in this unprofessional, rude, classless establishment again.

Henry did an amazing job

Very unprofessional how the nail tech got frustrated because I was displeased with the dots of my design. The dots looked as if one of my grandkids were connecting the dots and on top of that she used a damn ink pen. Then another tech walks over and takes a brush of polish remover and tries to remove the lines then turns and ask me how was that, horrible because I have black smear on my French tip. I got rid of the whole design and just rocked the French tip at least that was decent. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Horrible the black chick with the purple weave is very rude I will never come here again. They need to hire people who have professionalism not ratchet people. I use to love this place but now I will NEVER come back to such a rude horrible customer service place again. I recommend anywhere but here.
