Long story short their guy screwed up and took my recycling bin instead of my neighbors then brought a bin 2 weeks later that was 2 sizes smaller. Ive been trying to get them to fix their mistake since December 2020 and was recently told Im just SOL and have to pay $75 up front for a new bin. If I could use a different company I would.
This is the worst garbage pick up service. They missed our pick up at least 4 or 5 times in the time we have been with them. When you let them know on their website, it says they will pick up the next business day. They dont. The garbage sits out there until you drag it back in. Then you try again for the next weeks pick up, if you get service the next week.
More like republic disservice. No one at this company can help you, just call transfer after call transfer. I ordered a large recycling bin and paid for it and it never came. Called rescheduled, still never came. I pick upcall about getting a bulk pickup, they came and got my neighbors load but not mine. Made me wait another week. I cant wait for Waste Management to take over so we dont have to use republic disservice anymore
I scheduled an unlimited pick up on Friday September 11th. I called to verify the pick up and they told me we had to wait a week. So today was supposed to be the pick up. They never came! Theyre now telling me next Friday the 24th.! I just got off of the phone with them again and expressed my anger that the garbage has been sitting out already for a week! How in the world can you get these people to pick rubbish up!!!??? Unbelievable!
Waiting for bulk pick up to happen. Have been given a run around. Today is the third time I have been scheduled for my bulk pick up. It is still sitting there. They took my money on November 3. Have not taken my items. I am74 years old and cannot keep moving chair, mattress, and box spring in and out. I live in a condo community, and the hoa has told me people here are not happy about items still there. I have asked to speak to supervisor but that never happens. I may have to call channel 11tv. Call for action.
On November 22, 2020 I filed a police report for 4 stolen trash containers. (large grey ones with the city of Toledo written on them)On November 24, 2020 I called republic services to notify about the issue and supplied police report information. I was provided a fax number to upload the police report which I did on November 24, 2020. On November 30, 2020 I called republic services to find out when republic services will deliver the 4 trash cans because I havent heard anything since 24th of November. I am told December 9 2020 the trash cans will be delivered. December 10, 2020 I called to inform that no trash cans were delivered. I was told delivery is scheduled for 16th of December. I called December 17, 2020 to inform trash cans are not delivered yet. This time republic services informed me that they escalated to operations. Still no delivery was made. No time was given as to when trash cans are to be delivered. I just need the trash cans delivered. I am willing to pick up the trash cans. My tenants are without trash cans for almost a month.
I have already called them 4 weeks in a row for miss pickups now. Each time they told me they would do it the next day. Today is their next day again, but they still didnt to it. The lady was very polite over the phone and told me on two different accounts that the manager would call me and take care of the situation within 24 hours, it has been over 48 hours. My trash is outside being blown away by the wind. After this billing cycle I will look for a different company to do the service.
Feel guilty about giving them this high of a rating! For 20+ years I have had great service. During that time the disposal companies I have had have sold out 4 times. My latest sold out to Republic. Since Republic has taken over my disposal service, quality has dropped off. There is no consistency of pick up times, they decide whether or not they will take some or all of our trash. Trying to get a representative to speak with is a time consuming effort and if you want a helpful friendly person, forget about it!!!!
Tried calling several times to report a missed pickup. Terrible customer service. Happens all the time.
Everyone needs to look at the bill and compare with neighborhood and competition I have been paying as high as $193 a quarter compared to neighborhood paying $33 a quarter for the same identical service I hear of lots of different rates for same service and dont want to tell you what they said when I called them so sad just a heads up for you to watch
After three times calling to schedule a bulk pick up and getting confirmed dates for a pick up time, they failed to pick up trash. We called. Fourth time and after being on the phone with them2 hours, they stated that they have no records of us calling. Poorly managed service, I hope our tax dollars get used in a better way in the future.
Very friendly and helpful. The place is kept clean and well maintained. Most of the time the scales are steady moving and hardly any wait times.
I purchased a container from you on the May 21st. They took the money from my account on May 22nd. I was told the container would be dropped off on Tuesday May 26th, my husband called on that day at 4:26 pm he was told the container would be here by the end of the day and that they worked up to 7 pm. No container came. He called again the next morning and the customer service person acted like he had no idea when it would come, he said he would escalate it, whatever that means????? Now it is May 28th and no one seems to know when my container will be here nor does anyone there seem to care when it will arrive. I either want a date the container will be here or I want a refund. This is the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. They act bored and unconcerned with my problem. SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIX IT OR REFUND ME !!!!!!! Horrible experience !!!!! Now I am beyond angry. Today when I called I was told they did not have the containers so that means that the day we called on Tuesday May 26th, they lied to us, assured us the container was on the truck for delivery. Now they have no idea when the container will come. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF POSSIBLE. Why have customer service if they have no idea what each other is doing.
For 5 weeks in a row I had to call for a missed pick up. UPDATE: Republic has responded really well and I am very satisfied.
Ive scheduled two bulk pick-ups this year so far and both were exactly when they said. Customer service was polite and fast. They throughly described what could and couldnt be picked up and how to prepare what I was putting out for pickup. By following simple instructions the process was quick and painless
This morning my van got stuck in the mud. The two gentlemen collecting garbage from the business across the street not only noticed, but circled back around and came to help push me out. I cannot emphasize enough how above and beyond that was and how much I appreciated the help.

I was completely disillusioned and furious about my recent dealings with Republic. After 15 years of service, I double checked my Republic rate with a competitor and discovered I was paying 3 times more that I needed to. I complained immediately and they dropped my rate from $450 to $150. but would not let me out of my contract. When I think how much I have overpaid over the years I am sick about it. I will be switching services as soon as I can.
They have become absolutely awful. Took them over a year to consistently pick up trash at my place of business.Have been trying to schedule bulk pick 3 weeks in a rwo! By the time they make it out, neighbors have added their branches to my brush pile. Guess what, they wont take them because they are not bundled, and the real kicker, is their post it note was not stuck on the glass part of the door, but the wood part that I had professionally painted less than a year ago. Their stupid note peeled the paint off a 120 year old door!

Seems like most of these people are giving bad reviews of the hauling company located on dixie highway. This is the landfill! They do not pick up trash they receive trash!

This business is thr worst ivr ever had to deal with. they bought out every trash service in our area. change pick up days with out notice...made several calls to get picked up changed day back to original day with out notice..cancelled service told would only be charged 2 weeks of service been 2 months now have a bill for 110...several more calls to fix problem never 1 call back from a suoervisor..all calls on record....completely worthless service and customer service....do not get service from this place...you will be sorry if you do...not even worth 1 starupdate....1 year later 110. was returned....all better? nope....f them

Put out my trash they didn’t even take half of it . Called to find out the problem and the lady yelled at me .. no way to run a business in my eyes .. I’m the customer the one who helps pay for there income . And to get treatment like Is crazy ..
