I loved my overall experience. Louie is an expert at his craft. I came in for a beard trim. We discussed what I wanted and he executed to perfection. You can hear everybody loves their job by the joy in their voices. Eagle eye Jackie found my phone on the chair before I even knew that it fell out of my pocket. Thank you. I had a friend recommend this place, I visited google to check out the reviews to see what was up. Well, I seen everyone say how awesome Louie is so I booked an appointment with Louie. I was not disappointed. The first visit I booked it wrong and didnt book the correct time slot. He had to rush my cut and beard trim. But still came out on point. His exact words were I dont have to have to check it out in the mirror, its that good. I just got back from a properly booked appointment and he hooked me up. The fade is on point as well as the lines on my beard. Dont hesitate to book this guy. He is good at what he does.

Called ahead, made appointment, and wow. Once I got there, they actually took me in at scheduled time. Big plus in my book. Clean, well designed place. I would say this is more of a higher end cut place for that extra pizzazz. Would I go back, Yes. Have a good one. 👍

Louie is hands down the best barber in the greater Toledo area. He pays attention to detail and makes sure your cut is perfect every time. I’ve been to a lot of barbers because I’m military and Louie is the best. Don’t take your money anywhere else. Been going to him since April and don’t intend to leave any time soon.

Been here several times. Im always greated, and even though they have to do the temperature thing, they make it light hearted. My stylist cuts my hair properly like I want it. Its best to make an appointment though as they are pretty busy.

I typically do my beard myself but cant really get it looking professionally done and kinda scared to have someone mess it up beyond repair. I happened to find this place and said lets give it a go. The younger lady I got the first time and have gotten all of the other times Ive gone did an amazing job. I told her what I wanted and how I would like it to look and she double checked to make sure and went to town. I never looked to see what she was doing only had faith its what I asked for. I couldnt have been more pleased. It looked amazing hence why I will and have continued to go to her to get it done the right way. Couldnt be a more pleased customer and everyone is nice.

WOW! There are so many great things about this place! The first great thing is Melissa! She is hands down the best Stylist/barber in the area! I drive exactly 56.7 miles to have her cut my hair! She is not the typical Stylist! She is personable, quirky, caring, intuitive as well as supportive and funny! And that’s not mentioning her fantastic skills with scissors in her hand! I’ve personally sent over 20 people to her and Roosters! I’ve had my groomsmen come and all get the Gentleman’s choice! That was 11 people that Rooster’s Accommodated for us perfectly!Thank you Melissa!

I’ve been to this location twice. Both times the haircut has been less than satisfactory. Unfortunately it was hard to tell until I’d washed it and had a chance to really look. Its essentially going to Great Clips except paying twice the price.This past time was also very odd as the woman cutting my hair acted very strangely. It was very hot and I commented about it. She then kept asking me if I was going to pass out and if I’d eaten anything that day. She also decided to tell me she was going through menopause and then got argumentative when I jokingly suggested that was my problem. “You don’t have ovaries. You can’t go through menopause.Do you have ovaries?! Then you can’t!”The icing was when a customer brought in an enormous Great Dane (not a service dog) for some reason. I’d rather pay $13 for a mediocre haircut than ever come back to this place again.

So I came in opened minded because it was a new place I haven’t tried and I told her to keep the top long and just trim the sides and she proceeded to cut a lot off the top while I told her multiple times throughout the haircut I don’t want anymore off the top and she replied with “no I don’t like how it is let me fix it” and cut even more off. Would not you recommend unless you want a buzz cut

Best haircut my 8 year old has EVER gotten. I never leave reviews but felt compelled this time as it was amazing. Didn’t think my son could get any cuter but he just did. Too bad it doesn’t come with a stick to keep the girls away!

I never knew a haircut experience could be this good!You can get everything from a simple haircut to a full straight blade shave. I typically got the Club Cut which includes a haircut, wash, hot towel treatment, and even a shoe shine. The staff takes pride in their work, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. They dont take shortcuts or rush through the extra services. They take the time to do it right, so you feel appreciated when you are done. I only used two stylists during my many visits, but they both did a great job. I highly recommend Jackie!I recently moved and I am struggling to find another place that provides this level of service. Roosters set the bar high.Note: This place is primarily appointment only. They will take walk-ins, but you may have to wait awhile.

Louie at roosters is a great barber that can do just about whatever you would need with your hair great environment 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

I would not recommend this place, nor will be bringing my son back here. My husband explained to the barber how he wanted my sons haircut and the barber did the exact opposite. Seriously incompetent service. Its not ok to mess someones hair up. Sadly he has to deal with it until it grows back out the way he wanted it. Be careful who your barber is. I can say that Louie always does a spectacular job, he just was not available when we made our appointment, huge lesson learned.

Louise is a personable professional, I just moved here from Florida and had been looking for a permanent Barbar and to my surprise he nailed it the first time. I would recommend him to anyone who is a detailed as Iam with my hair.

This made a big difference for me. The cut was perfect this time and the service was great. I will continue to use this as my regular shop for my grooming needs.

Id always found the whole process of changing hair cutters to be a real feat, even though I was never crazy about any of the cuts I was getting. Sure, they were okay, and coworkers werent exactly pointing their fingers and laughing after a cut, but they were so historically average that it set a low bar, and as a result I didnt really care enough to go through the effort of trying somewhere different.Then I tried Roosters, and I wish Id made the switch sooner.Yeah, youll pay a bit more for a cut here, but the reliability of the cut and the overall experience make it more than worthwhile. With a Roosters Club Cut youll get a great shampoo and condition after the cut, along with a warm towel, followed by a neck rub. The whole thing adds a nice sense of relaxation, rather than usual all right, its done, now pay up and get out. Plus theyll save the details of your cut in their system, so thats one less thing to have to remember. And you can make and track appointments online, which is a great convenience that most other places, from my experience, do not offer.

Marketing! Old Fashioned Barber? They claim to straight razor, but when you get there they dont have a single person that is a certified barber that can use a straight razor. They sell Pseudo products, like Bay Rum, but the product is alcohol with artificial scent. They use a standard razor for shaves (No straight razor) and charge like they are a salon. This is the worst place in the city to go if you prefer a traditional barber or like a straight razor.

Best haircut experience in my opinion. Roosters Mens Grooming isnt cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for in a haircut. With your haircut, you get the hot towel treatment, they shave your neck with a razor, shampoo (and sometimes conditioner), and then they put oils and powder on your neck afterwards. Theyll normally put gel in your hair, so its also a good place to go if you need a quick cut and need to head somewhere else afterwards. I definitely recommend this place!

I had been wanting to get a full service shave and haircut for a long time. I recieved a Roosters gift card for Christmas, and I couldnt wait to book an appointment. I let my beard grow out for a while before I went. I booked an appointment for the gentlemens choice. I was not dissapointed.

This another one of those “barbershops” this is not an actual barbershop only a few people are liscenced barbers. Also the most annoying thing about this stupid place is their app. You must apply everything you want done because they are all about Time. My first time coming there an old ladie cut my hair. Asked for a fade she gave me a 1 all around. And she seemed slightly racist when she asked about my previous barbers. In other words this is a hairstylist with a barbershop cover. Would not recommended

Went to schedule an appt. for a haircut and a beard trim. Didnt know what to expect since I havent been to a barber shop since I was a little kid.Greeted by a very nice gal named Kristi. she asked what services I wanted. I explained I was new to all of this and that my beard was also new to me. It was 3 months old at that point. I knew I wanted a haircut. One with some sort of a fade to make my beard stand out. She suggested a light fade on the sides. She also outlined my beards edges to clean them up. I didnt want it trimmed at that point. Still growing it out. It was just the best experience ever. Kristi was just super. The hot towel was great. The neck shave etc.... I could go on. Just a great guilty pleasure kind of experience with a result that was better than i expected. Have an appt to see her again on July1st.
