We have recently arrived from Australia whereby, purchasing a car is very different. Everything felt genuine and informative. The follow up experience with Michael was also excellent. My car went in for service on Thursday, 9/2, at 8:00 am. The appointment was for an oil change, tire rotation, front end alignment, A/C charge and investigate why my A/C blower is noisy and not pushing much air. I was told Thursday evening that they have only had time to do the oil change and tire rotation and would need another day to complete the work. I agreed to leave the vehicle. My service representative took the day off on Friday and no one told me. I called several times before I could actually get a person to help me, as they kept transferring me to various voicemails. Absolutely nothing happened on Friday, which was probably because Chase was out and no one covered him. But that is no excuse for the AC not to get charged and the front end aligned. Yark had the car 2 full days and only managed to change the oil and rotate the tires. I think, given that I had an appointment that I waited a month for, it was not too much to ask that all that be completed in a 2 day period. I understand, if they could not figure out why the blower to my AC is making noise but the rest should have been completed in that time frame.So with that said, I took my business elsewhere and the work was completed within 3 hours and they were happy to help me and appreciated an opportunity for my business.Over the last 20 years, my family has been dedicated to Tom Duff and the Yark team. So, Im very disappointed this happened and that my business was not valued.
The service writer was courteous and my truck was taken in quickly and the job was done in a good and timely manner.Ty informed me that my tires needed replacement as the fronts were worse than the rears and said he would rather keep the better tires in the back for traction. I appreciate that rather then just doing the tire rotation and not saying anything.Thanks Ty, good job!
From the moment I arrived, the associate greeted me at my car, and I told him that I had an appointment. He was very comical, which made me feel very comfortable because after a long day working with people who are not so kind, it was a breath of fresh air and I felt more relaxed instead of anxious. The associate discussed everything that they were going to do to my car and he also discussed why those things were important. Two of the associates saw my name tag and asked what I did for the company I work for. Taking an interest in me personally put the icing on the cake. Yark is a place I will come to for all my vehicle needs, now and in the future to come.
Yark had my Jeep Grand Cherokee for 8 weeks to fix power steering. It still isnt fixed after returning it several times. They are understaffed and have no interest in actually solving the issue. The answer is to just quit answering my messages and tell me its as good as any vehicle that year even though I have a vehicle much older that drives better and my lawn mower is easier to steer. My suggestion would be to find a reliable independent that cares about their reputation. Waste of 2600 dollars.
Tom Duff Is the best salesperson out there! I travel from Michigan to come see him and I have for 16 years! I also appreciate the sales manager! Yark is an extremely professional class A operation! Worth the drive!!

They want to charge over MSRP on a vehicle because the market justifies it, imagine if we did in healthcare during a pandemic because we dont have enough qualified people to work in our field. What a joke, bought the same truck elsewhere at MSRP and it was a pleasure doing business with the other dealer.
I had an early morning appointment, for 20k service on my Ram Rebel. They got me in quick and the whole experience was professional. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the cost was.

We purchased our daughter a used Ford Escape from Tyler at Yark. We scheduled an appointment with Tyler to see one of the vehicles that we had found online. After arriving and looking at the initial car, of which was okay but didnt provide that Special Feeling, Tyler devoted quite a bit of time to us during our search. My daughter had a lot of boxes that she wanted checked before she decided to make the purchase and Tyler didnt hesitate to show her the vehicles that were in stock that he felt would meet with her approval. After we looked at 4 or 5 other vehicles he showed her the Escape and her eyes lit up and the smile came on her face. This car was exactly what she wanted. He was able to find the car that she had described. After looking at so many vehicles, our purchase took longer than we had anticipated. Tyler and the staff at Yark stayed around after the dealership had closed so that we could finalize the purchase. We had a small problem with the vehicle a short time later and the Sales Manager, Tim Duncan called me to inform me that he had a resolution to our problem and that everything would be taken care of. We could not have been happier.We are a Ford Family (we currently have 5 in our household) and now that Yark has acquired Kessler Ford, this will become our 1 stop shop for all of our future vehicle purchases. The commitment of the Yark staff to their customers is well above what one expects to find at a car dealership. This really became apparent when we considered the fact that they went out of their way to make us happy after we purchased a Used vehicle. I can only imagine how well be treated once we purchase our next New vehicle from them! With Customer Service like this... they have won us over!Thanks to All of you at Yark Automotive! You guys have set the bar quite high and I doubt if any other dealership would even attempt to step up to this level to make a customer happy.

We drove two hours away to see a particular vehicle. The car was great, the experience could have been better. Upon arrival, the original car that we went to look at was waiting for us. When we were given the keys to test drive it, it was immediately evident how dirty it was. Left over wrappers were left in the back seats. Once we returned to the lot, we had a few concerns. Naturally, it’s a used car. But our sales guy Danny, was not so receptive to our feed back. I got the sense that he was personally offended. Which was strange. He would talk over us constantly too. Making it hard to ask follow up questions. Maybe a salesman’s tactic? Who knows. It’s was rude. Once we told him we were not interested in the car due to cosmetic issues, We asked to see another vehicle. It would literally take him like 30 minutes just to bring the car around and every time we were told “they needed to put gas in them.” There was an ungodly amount of delays left and right. After we asked to see one final vehicle (we drove 2.5 hours away, we wanted to make the most of our trip) we felt like we were inconveniencing him. Not the greatest feeling when you’re about to drop thousands of dollars. We ultimately ended up taking a car I fell in love with. I just had a sour taste in my mouth with the experience. Just a heads up, the cars are dirty. All three had someone’s left overs. The strangest thing for a dealership not to start off with a good first impression. They promised to detail my car before pickup, it was left exactly the same with a big red stain in the trunk. My husband brought it to the sales managers attention and he made it right by giving us a detailing voucher. I wouldn’t return simply from the experience.

Very nice experience. The selection of cars was fantastic. We went to two other lots that could not accommodate us in what we needed and a respectful price.Kevin Phenix was fantastic, taking my adult son through his first financed purchase. We were purchasing our lease and Brandon Osborn was pretty quick with all the paper work needed. He was really quick to respond to emails previously sent him.. he was really friendly and helpful from when we leased our vehicle and when we purchased our vehicle.We then went to finance where they were also really quick and super friendly. We would highly recommend Brandon with sales if anyone is in need of a vehicle for lease or buying.
Let me start by saying that I love the 2020 Ram 1500 that I purchased at Yark. The salesman and the finance people were great.Then my truck needed service. I called to schedule my truck at the end of June. My appointment was August 9. When I called to confirm my appointment on August 6, they said they didnt see my truck on the schedule. I was told that they could try to squeeze me in sometime in the next week or two. When I told them that I needed a loaner they said that would require a longer wait. I said thats ok, so they scheduled me for an appointment at 8:30 on August 25 with a loaner. When I arrived on the 25th my appointment stated nothing about a loaner. They offered to shuttle me home, or I could wait. I chose to wait. I looked at my truck sitting in the parking lot till 10:28, even though I had an 8:30 appointment. By 11:10 my truck was done.I dont blame the guys in the garage. Theyre just working on vehicles as they come in. Today, Wayne assisted me and he was great. The problem seems to be with whoever is scheduling these appointments.Before I left they said my truck was part of a recall, and I would have to schedule an appointment when the parts come in. They said that scheduling would be able to make sure that I get a loaner. Fingers crossed.
We took a 2016 Jeep Cherokee in to have the back quarter panel fixed get the car back the car back the heater is making a loud noise when the heater is on was not that way when we sent it in have called twice now to try to get the car in theyre out for 2 months and we got rude attitude from the lady on the phone We were told your work was guaranteed for life but when we try to take it in and have it fixed we get the run around. The funny part is the heater should have never been touched to begin with. And the problem was pointed out there when the car was picked up and still insisted that they did nothing wrong

Martin took really good care of us. Our engine blew up in our Chrysler 300 and was completely covered by our warranty. The problem was the engine was on back order but they helped us out with some extra free rental days. These guys know what theyre doing because the 300 is back stronger than ever.

Ive been shopping around for a cargo van for a couple weeks. I stumbled upon a Nissan on yarks website. I was told to fill out the credit app to save time in the process. (I live an hour away) I submitted it. I received a call stating they had the Nissan van listed for sale on the website, but turns out they arent selling it. Apparently they bought it to be a company vehicle. I was transferred to 4 people and nobody could explain it. So after hours on the phone and a hard inquiry on my credit report, for no reason. I was pretty much told to go look somewhere else for my vehicle needs.
I was very happy with my experience with Brittany at Yark today. The lease was up on the Jeep I have been driving. I just wanted to keep what I had. She made it quick and easy to finance the the car. The financing dept. was great with the paperwork, was out of there in no time.
Jay took the time to explain what was happening. It did take longer than the 45 minutes than I was told, was an hour. But overall, good service. I recommend having an easy, very visible phone number to call for oil changes - so many numbers, got confusing. I was transferred, and placed on hold with no answer. Called back and had to navigate the phone system.
I have bought multiple vehicles from Yark, and will continue to do so. KC has always been courteous and helpful, and I had the same experience with Graham!

Bought out our leased Ram on 6/26. Spent 2 hours with finance mgr who tried to persuade us to finance the truck. Signed multiple documents. After all that time, the $ didnt match up and was told we would have to wait to get copies of the paperwork. Now after 30 days, I get a text that they are missing a signature and that is why we still dont have the title for our truck. Oh and we even called Yark twice to find out why there was a delay.
This is the second vehicle I purchased fromYark and having Tyler as my salesman, he did an amazing job helping me find a very reliable car within my financial limits.
I cant give lower than 1 star my car went in for an oil change and tire rotation after it was completed I went 5 minutes down the road and completely lost all brakes and I checked the vehicle I noticed that I was pouring brake fluid out my passenger rear tire. I immediately brought it back and they claimed they never touched the tire. I told them they just rotated the tires. They said a line cracked and they couldnt do anything I went over to the service department they said they couldnt do anything because it wasnt there fault. If I wanted them to fix it it would be a month wait and now would cost 200 dollars. I asked to speak a manager and they said managers dont work on the weekend.
I went in at a perfect time for my oil change! Only took about 30-40 min. Great service, and very polite service writers.
It was my first service for my beautiful Dodge 1500. The price was where I expected and the service department was very easy to deal with. It took about 15 minutes longer than expected, but the representative was apologetic and had a reasonable explanation (employee no shows). I highly recommend Yark.

The bar was set pretty high when I was ready to drive from Detroit to Toledo, just to get what I wanted. Im very weary when it comes to car sales and your typical robotic salesmen in a male dominated industry. Its very important for me, as a female, to share my experience. Grant was such a pleasure to work with! Being my unfamiliarity with Toledo, I asked Grant to come along for my test drive. I am very happy with my purchase of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Excellent service. The shop at Yark Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram runs like a well-oiled machine. Even though it was very busy on a Tue. at 10 am they did the 10K maintenance (includes an oil change, tire rotation and overall systems check) in 1.5 hrs. Very pleased with everything.

Found a car online and scheduled a test drive with Gabe. He set us up in the vehicle and allowed us to make decisions with zero pressure, he was up front and honest which was refreshing. Showed us a similar model but a year older but we decided that it wasnt right and he was able to get us out the door in just a few hours with the original car. During the test drive we found a few sight issues and he was able to have his guys look at it and fix it. A great experience all around. Thank you!!
Terrible customer service from their service department. I will never do business in any capacity with Yark again. Their service department is horrible. My last repair was covered by warranty and it took over 30 days to get my vehicle back. Trying to get updates throughout the process was the worst. They almost never returned my calls. Endless voicemail loops, even after I had exhausted my efforts trying to reach my service rep. Service department supervisor never returned my call either. I cannot stress enough how miserable their customer service was in my experience. Slow, slow, slow.Update: I called the number in the reply from Yark at 2:35 on 7/8/21. My call was unanswered. I left a voicemail with my name, number, and reason for the call. At 5:14 I received what appears to be an auto generated customer service text, to which I replied, asking for feedback on my experience with their service department. As of 8:45 on 7/8/21 I havent received a return call which reinforces my position about Yarks extremely poor customer service.7/18/21 Still no return correspondence from Yark.8/02/21 Still no return correspondence.
Took my jeep in to get worked on and they tried to scam my by saying my frame was too rotted to do anything so they would not go under it, this was obviously a lie to get me to sell my jeep for cheap to them so that they could turn around and sell it and make a large profit on it. I recommend going to a small shop by the name of hyslop at 144 rivercrest Ave. He does good work and for way cheaper than the dealership would.

Angie was amazing! She was knowledgeable about the vehicles, which I find rare these days. She was quick to remedy any issues or questions. Followed up next day to make sure everything was going smooth. Angie treats you like a person and not a sale, again tough to find these days on car lots. Go to her at Yark Auto, you wont regret it.
Todays experience was much better than my last one. They were a little short handed, so I had to wait over an hour. However they were able to take care of a small problem with one of my wheel wells at no additional charge, so I really appreciated that. Thanks guys!

I should’ve listened to my first instinct and left this place. I felt like the guy in that Vroom commercial. Strapped to a chair and being forced to buy a vehicle via jumper cables.I do hate dealerships and their tactics to sell cars. If I can help it, I will avoid dealerships and buy used online from now on. Now I’m stuck with an overpriced vehicle for at least 2 years. I hope the chip shortages continue then maybe they’ll buy back this vehicle.
Well it took days for the recall to be done. I did not want it rushed so I gave them a a day or two. Four days later is was done. They tried to force sell me other services I did not want or need. Then I pick up the car. Great but they left the hood open and grease hand print on the headliner. Not a good place for services.
