Go here if you want a high pressure salesmen who gets visibly angry when you say you dont like their trade offer and will go elsewhere. Then be told that things will need to be replaced on the truck as reasoning for such a low ball offer only to find out its sitting on the lot and nothing has been replaced!! According to ole John, this direction also came from the owner himself!! Now i knew that was a lie and sales tactic. In the end i went with the deal and was 90% happy with what i got in trade value.

Dropped my car off today for a recall & key copying. Told it would be ready at 4 p.m. so I walked the 4.3 miles home to wait. Happy surprise it was finished a couple minutes past noon so off on that 4.3 mile return trip. Everything went perfectly smooth.

I purchased a used vehicle here that ended up having engine issues beyond what myself or the dealer could have anticipated. While it took some time and perseverance on both our ends, this dealership acted honorably, honestly and with integrity and worked to have the vehicle repaired, giving us a loaner in the meantime, until the solution was found. Five stars.

None of the used cars listed online actually exist as purchasable vehicles. I asked about one and was told it was heading to auction. Why was it online if you hadnt even checked to see if it was in decent enough shape to sell? Then we looked at a very nice 2012 in great shape. They said there were two small things they needed to work on, so it would be a few days before it was ready. Every few days it was going to be a few more days. After two weeks, they said its going to auction. I was willing to pay cash for the car. No way theyre getting more at auction. I feel like they do this to sucker people in by advertising well priced used cars and then pushing them into a more expensive car.

My daughter Was told to drop the car off on Friday morning. Brought it in for a recall and diagnosis. Did not return texts or voice mails. Had to have my husband call. They didnt get it done on Friday. Called on Friday afternoon after 4 pm to come get a loaner car. Monday and Tuesday came and again no returns on calls and texts. Had to have my husband call on Tuesday afternoon and he got through. He was told the car was ready on Monday and my daughter could come get the car in the morning (Wednesday). She got there Wednesday early afternoon to be told its not ready. Who called you? Very disrespectful. Apparently you think its ok to treat women differently than men??? Also we were quoted $125 for the diagnosis. Turns out that there is a $12.50 charge for shop supplies. Couldnt that be told to us when we called to schedule the appointment and was quoted $125, or when we dropped the car off, and was told $125, or when we were called Friday morning before they would work on the car and was told $125? I havent had an experience like this in an auto dealership since the 1980s.

Don’t waste your time going here if you expect them to work on a deal for you. I just needed them to move around 500, which isn’t much when spending almost 30,000. Said they wanted to save me the drive and sorry they couldn’t earn my business. How can you expect to earn anyone’s business when you tell them no before even meeting them. Never been treated so rudely in my lifeBefore meeting face to face.Update. Later on in the day was called by the Manager and apologized forthe way things were handled and wouldlike to sell me a car and earn mybusiness. It was too late because I already purchased a car. My point is if you are treated poorly make the appropriate phone calls because there are some people there who care. So whoever responded to my review needs to be communicated with once again.

Very disappointed with the quote the salesman provided, its almost as if he thought I was desperate to make a sale. His value of my vehicle was 4k cheaper than other dealerships. Not sure if I would revisit or work with that particular sales person.

Bought 2 vehicles from there, and tried to buy a third. Couldn’t even get my sales lady to call me back/text me back. Apparently she has to many customers to deal with a loyal one. Forced me to go somewhere else.I have done exactly what you asked me to, and left you a private Facebook message on June 8th. I have received no response from anyone. Apparently not responding is exactly how you operate your business.

Scheduled and oil change and alignment the day before. Next day Drop off my Jeep at 9 am. Good service getting a ride back to my work. Texted around 3 pm to ask if my car was ready... they told me it was going to be ready by 2pm. No text back.. got a ride myself to get my car. When I got the was not ready yet..at 5 pm I went out the waiting room to the front desk asking for my car. The service guy came and said that never had the time to go around and fix my car.. waste of a day. If you want your car to get done go to another place

The place is a joke every time my wife takes her car in for a oil change it’s a 2 hour process. Her air went out in her Pacifica that only had 60,000 miles on it called and told her it would be 3 weeks to get in. She made time in her busy schedule to go had to take 2 kids and it was 4 hours to re charge her air. We will never go there for service or buy a vehicle from them again. Do not waste your time go to Yark.

Amazing experience! They knew I lived far away and had everything ready for me. They took a down payment over the phone and put on an automatic remote start on the Jeep before even signing any papers. They had me in and out within 45 minutes. I’m extremely pleased with the service and the price and quality of the vehicle. I will definitely look forward to working with this dealership again.

We recently purchased a new car from grogen the second in less than two years, the first experience was good the second not so much. The first time one of the owners was involved and he made sure everything went smoothly. Our sales person this time was Missy, I would never do business with her again. The car showed up covered in some kind of sap or overspray not sure, they didnt care how they were giving the car to us, but agreed to have it detailed, took a couple days so you would think it would be perfect, NOT ! The new car sales manager said thats the best you can expect for $10 dollar an hour workers. Plus there was a scratch on the hood they couldnt buff out.so we got a new car with a scratch and real detailing we had to take care of ourself.They said they would give an extended warranty at cost to help make up for it but when doing the paperwork the only offer was full price so we declined, however we did get a small bottle of touch up paint for the scratch on our new car, yes we have to do that ourselve too, and some cheap rubber floor mats we didnt really need. might of not even wrote thiis but to top it off Missy gave us the car with no gas, only made it a few miles before it starts sputtering. Thanks Missy! Not enough space here to list all the problems we had, but not a pleasant experience.

Really unhappy with the service department. They got me in quick, but good God the price gouging. Now, I feel like the guy who sold me my car lied to me about what my warranty covers. But hey, anything to make a buck. Wouldnt recommend.Certified pre owned car. Everything is covered other than windshield wipers and oil changes and stuff like that. I didnot expect to pay over $500 dollars for a car battery when I still have a good warrant for 30,000 miles. Now I am going to be reluctant to ever go back to fix anything on this car with them.Also, the dealership man in Genoa was just nicer.

Came to this dealership from Minnesota to get the truck we wanted. Then had Gary pick us up from the Detroit airport. He was great and brought us waters. John Byrne was a great salesman. Very up front honest and efficient. We were out of there within 45 minutes on our way back to Minnesota. Highly recommend this dealership.

Made appt for Wednesday morning to fix my car. They said they couldnt look into it for a couple of days. I said I needed a loaner, they said they didnt have one but they would call enterprise rental car. I couldnt give enterprise a meaningful rental period as grogan wasnt given me any ETA. Late friday grogan leaves me a message to get approval for the cost to fix the car. They couldnt give me an ETA still. I made several calls trying to get status on Monday. Finally I called Tuesday and was told the car was finished.Dont schedule an appointment if you cant start the work for several days. Professional company should be able to give and live with ETA s. Customer s need that to coordinate with rental company.I swear grogan owns stock in enterprise, making money from the way they do business. Never going back to either company.

Had my van in to get the front left fender replaced and repainted when I picked up the vehicle I had this message pop up on my way home. when I called back to the dealership they said seems like a wire was left unconnected inside the mirror and I had to return the next morning to have it connected. Again they did great work but it took two trips to get everything taken care of.

Price gouging is no joke here. I had a module replaced under warranty but they want to charge me 317.00 plus tax to change differential fluid that would Not need replacement had the part not failed. Only have 44,000 miles. Talked to management and they dont care either. Would never recommend this business.

Took my Jeep into them for service. Made appt over phone, girl got me in the next week 1st thing - friendly. I did the night drop off and early Tuesday David McCoy called me to get approval for diagnostic fee, explained the warranty may/may not pay that - I okay that. He called to tell me what the issue was and I would get my Jeep back that day. I left him msg thru day and he returned call. He was professional and they were quick to do what needed to be done to my Wrangler. I was impressed at how well I was treated. And updates. Even accommodated when I picked it up. I will not buy another vehicle from grogans.. there has been two incidents where my vehicle had to have work at the body shop and the first time they told me it would take only two weeks they had my truck for over a month. This most recent incident I was involved in a car accident and my truck needed to be towed from a tow lot to grogans, my insurance claim manager spoke with the body shop manager and was told they would have it towed and begin to work on the vehicle that was a month ago so I go in today to check on the status and see if my vehicle is almost done only to find out it’s still sitting at a tow lot in Indiana a month after my insurance called and was told it would be towed to the body shop, this is unacceptable and very poor customer service IfI had not went in there today to get a status update who knows how long they would have let my vehicle sit at that tow yard so now It’s gonna take another 3 plus weeks for them to repair but I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes over a month how they run things there.

I took my jeep in on monday, there was a late ship on a recall part, so unable to have my car finished as promised. Had my car 3 months in the body shop finally get it back brake fluid low missing a windshield wiper rims on passenger side scuffed up still from the accident shock cap off laying in my engine compartment tire inflated 50lbs only supposed to be 38lbs the other only had 10lbs drove it for around 15 mins engine light comes on oil pressure just all around poor service called multiple times you can never get ahold of anyone in the body shop was told multiple times multiple weeks my car was going to be done Friday Dec 26 to mar 11 is a lot of fridays left voice mails for management to call me because I want to tell them the about the poor service they give we will see if I get a call back

To whom it may concernI contacted Grogans Towne regarding a 2019 Ram 1500 they had for sale. I was connected with John Byrne. Being from out of state, I asked if it were possible to buy the truck. He explained that they do it all the time. He proceeded walk me through the details of purchasing from out of state and made me feel at ease.The day of the flight, John arranged for us to be picked up and taken to the dealership. The man was very fun to talk with and I enjoyed the 45 min car ride. Once at the dealership I was quickly walked through the paperwork and given the truck washed and with full tank!The reason I wrote this review was not the above. The day of the flight I was contacted by John and told that the truck had a small scratch to the bumper and tail gate. John told me they would pay to have it fix and adjust the contract to reflect the repair needed. I saw the picture of it and felt comfortable with the solution. ( Very very small amount of damage )I returned to Minneapolis MN and got a few estimates that shocked me. A tiny scratch and a plastic sensor turned into $2200? I texted John and let him know it was more than we thought. They didnt hesitate and told me they would pay for all necessary repairs.Integrity matters. John Byrne and the Grogans Towne group has it!!

Nearly 3 months after buying my $40k+ Ram truck I still am unable to get a license plate on my truck due to what they call COVID delays. However that doesn’t explain why I’m treated like I’m asking for too much when I ask for them to renew my temp license tag. Also doesn’t explain why I had to call for nearly a week, leaving voicemail etc just to get an update. Doesn’t explain why the salesperson nor manager will return my calls, and I am forced to find other employees to help me. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I bought a 2017 PAcifica from here and really have had nothing but problems with it. It was one of their certified pre-owned... I dont see what they certify because no one looked over this car, there is/was a ton of things wrong with it. Iv had to bring it in to have things fixed at least 4 or 5 times in the couple of months ive had it and not all the problems are resolved. Im not sure what the service dept is doing but Ive definitely been lied to and told things are getting done that are not. Upon buying the car I was told the oil was just changed and I noticed the brakes and rotors were shot so they were supposed to change them before I took it home ( should have known then they didnt look over anything when they certified the car), then they called and said the back were good just the front were bad (which i knew was bs). Anyway, I waited 3 days to pick it up and Idk about the brakes but the rotors were never changed... they are rusty. Then during one of the times i had to bring it back in I told them the oil was not changed before I got it and when the mechanic checked it he said indeed it was at the end of its life so supposedly they changed it that time. During all this time the car was making a grinding noise which i believed to have something to do with the brake system. So it has gone to them several times and everytime they told me either they couldnt figure it out or it was something else. Well one of the times they said it was the back brakes and rotors (yea the ones they told me a few weeks before were fine). So they changed those. However, I still have the noise somewhat- not as bad. I believe it has something to do with the front rotor or something in the brake system. To be honest I dont even think Im going to bring it back because I feel like they are just lying to me. I traded in a very nice jeep wrangler for this car and i wish i never would have. It has been a terrible experience so I guess now im just stuck with a pos! Thanks Grogen!

We dropped our jeep off to them because the window wouldnt go up no more.They called us and asked for permission to repair it.The employee on phone said It will be about a hundred and fifty bucksI am here at Grogans picking up the vehicle now and they are asking for $513.96 for installing a window regulator. Complete robberyGlad they showed their true colors. I was just about to purchase a new vehicle again. Now I know where I will NOT be shopping with my new car money.

John Byrne made our experience the best weve had at a car dealership. We talked about what I wanted to get for my trade-in as well as a selling price for the car we wanted to buy. The car is AMAZING (2018 Jeep Renegade) and we got it for a steal. I was absolutely dreading the financing discussion with their team but when we spoke with them, we could easily say no and there was no hassle or pressure. It was an Great! We absolutely understand and heres everything youre receiving with your purchase today! ..We got in and out in the time we wanted even with how busy they were. An added plus: everyone was very good at wearing masks and staying 6 feet or more away to ensure safety during COVID. Will absolutely be back in the future :)

I’m sure the actual maintenance work is great. However, I scheduled an appointment for 8am. The rep who took my call said I’d be out of there as quick as possible. I arrived early only to be asked if I was leaving my truck there over the weekend as the work needed would take longer than a day. This would have been good information to be told on the phone vice “I’d be out of there as quick as possible.” Needlesstosay I didn’t make plans to not have my truck all weekend and was unable to get the work completed and I had no choice but to leave. Be sure you ask questions above and beyond what you’d think would be told to you to ensure this doesn’t happen to you.

Update: every single issue I dad was not only handled with the most professionalism and sincerity, I was able to go home in one of my dream vehicles. Excellent service and super genuine! I was shocked and impressed by the speed they addressed my issues. I am absolutely in love with my new vehicle and can’t say enough good things about how week my issue was handled.Salesperson was very low energy. Did not return calls. I felt like I was 7th in line and not taken seriously. Initial price was given and hand written on an initial agreement sheet. I was told that price couldn’t be done 2 days later. Called multiple times and left voicemails with no return calls. The sales person said they’d work on some numbers but never got around to it. Super disappointed as I was ready to buy.

The parts guy had a attitude right of the bat I can understand if he’s having a bad day, after getting him to look up the parts I needed he told me there no longer available because the vehicle is to old! After his bad attitude and not seeming like wanted to do his job I decided to call Charlie’s Dodge to double check. Originally took my car to Ford because thats where it was bought, but they didnt have the specialized tools to repair the problem and said we had to take it to Jeep. I took it to Jeep on Monday and explained to the service guy that Ford did not have the specialized equipment. Turns out, they attemped to repair the car without the equipment and it is now Friday, my car is taken apart and they cant do anything without the proper equipment which they guaranteed would be there today and now today they are saying I have to leave my car through the weekend or longer. I have been the one having to call everyday to get an update. One of the only calls I received was to tell me that the warranty company will cover the axle seal leak but that I also have bad shock absorbers that will cost $400 to be replaced without warranty coverage. I choose not to fix the shock absorbers because of time restraint. I am only here temporarily and have to leave the state for work Now my job is on the line because I cant leave.

We went in to sign the paperwork for his car and having no problems in the past with them signed the papers that we needed to. 2 weeks later received cards in the mail for a program called Ally Protection which is some kind of warranty program that the financial guy failed to ask us if we wanted but it somehow found its way into my sons paperwork for the purchase price of I believe over $2400. Apparently I was too trusting of this dealership. We didnt ask for this product and we were not asked about wanting it. Thinking about calling the TV stations call for action people and our lawyer to get something done about this. Will not do business with a dealer that is shady and charges a kid for an expensive program that he didnt want or ask for and now has a higher car payment because of it. Not happy at all.Update...They took care of the problem quickly and thankful for that. Thanks to Kevin.

My wife and just bought a 2016 Ford Edge from Scott Bly at Grogan’s town. When we test drove it, we noticed a strange noise in the front of the car. Scott had it looked at right away with no questions asked. It ended up needing a new tire so they put four brand new tires on it and didn’t take the price of the vehicle up. We had a great no pressure sales experience and will definitely check them out when we are ready for another car. Thanks Scott.

Modern Dealership, OLD SCHOOL customer service .. the way it used to be .. friendly staff, good fair people! Bought my RAM 1500 Crew cab from Chris Aughney last summer. Product & prices were fair & as advertised .. salesman honest & treated me & my kids like family during the purchasing process. Since my purchase Ive needed some work done on my truck. Chris & dealer went ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure my needs were taken care of promptly. I cant say enough how please I am with the OLD SCHOOL care, that I received from, my salesman Chris, & Grogans Towne dealership. Highly recommend this Dealership. Update: 3 weeks and no call, email or response.I bought a Car off the lot here in 2017. Since buying I have had to replace all 4 tires that they guaranteed were new (dry cracking, paddling), the rear differential, fuel pump, all 4 rotors, the battery and the transmission. the car has 80,000 miles on it. If I could give 0 stars I would. my advice... Dont buy anything used. Even certified pre-owned

I am not one to write reviews about anything but I thought that this situation deserved one. Originally with purchasing my used car through Grogan’s Towne, I had to go back not once, but twice due to the financial advisor forgetting to have me or my co-signer sign a form. (I live 30 minutes away) The entire process of purchasing my car was extremely stressful due to lack of communication and just poor customer service. Because of this, they gave me oil changes free for 1 year. I found this to be nice at least. *The other thing that was good was the price of cars- best prices for the car I was looking for in the area* They also fixed a flaw in the bumper of the car for free once I purchased the car, but the service people who had moved my car outside on a rainy day left mud prints all over both the front seat floors of my freshly detailed car that I had purchased literally a few days prior to this. Mad was an understatement. Recently I went in for my first oil change. I called prior to see if I needed an appointment and was told I did not. I came in and they took my car back immediately but I waited over 2 HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE. My service manager never updated me throughout the process and only explained and apologized after I asked the man if I should make an appointment next time. Apparently it is beneficial to schedule an apt. because you will be placed ahead of others if you do not have an apt.... Again, communication is poor and customer service is as well. The only positive interaction I had was with a different service manager who sincerely apologized for my experience and offered me a year of oil changes for free only to find out I was already offered them.... it’s the thought that counts.

Bought a 2016 with 22000 miles on it. Ive had some issues. 1.) I was not told it only had one key until we were in the car getting ready to leave. Our salesperson (Joe) ran away to help another customer when I asked if there was another. They ordered me another key but have not called me back about getting it programmed. 2.) Had to have it towed within two weeks for a transmission issue. 3.) Tires were worn unevenly due to it not being alligned and the rear brake pads were worn down to 20 percent. I contacted Joe and he said it passed the initial inspection. Not sure what it would take to not pass inspection. 4.) Norm in finance told me the bank would not approve our loan without buying an extended warranty. This is a known scam (should have done my research before, I know). I called the used car manager about a week ago and still havent heard back about any of this.

I recently went to test drive a Ram 1500 from Grogans Towne. I found the truck online and asked for more information. John contacted me the next morning with more details and to set up a time to test drive the vehicle. Upon arrival for the test drive the Truck was ready for me to drive and keys were pulled for me. After the test drive John was very friendly and personable and related to me and my purchase. John made the whole purchase quick, easy and stress free. I have never been so disappointed with my car service. I was involved in a collision and thought they would be my best option for getting quality repair work. They had my car for an entire month for work that shouldnt have taken nearly that long.I got my car back and it wasnt fixed. The doors wouldnt lock and it said the key was stuck in the ignition. I brought it right back to them and they said it would be done that night. The call me the next day and said it was a simple fix and is all set.I had the car for 2 days and then the battery died, leaving me stranded in the middle of the road. After about 20 min, I was able to get it started and to the dealership.I asked if there was anything they could do and they said no, sorry, the service department is closed until Monday. The manager refused to talk to me.They left me stranded outside their dealership with a car that wont start and no way to get home or get to work for 2 days. Because they still havent fixed my car. Heres to hoping 3rd times the charm.
