My AC failed to come on this summer after having an HVAC friend from church repair my heat last fall. That friend is currently out of commission after falling and breaking his hip, so I scrambled to find some help. I troubleshot on my own for a bit and replaced the capacitor. When that didn’t fix it, I looked at the schematics for the thermostat and found one wire wasn’t connected. That still didn’t fix it and I was out of ideas, so I sought out a smaller HVAC company to support small businesses.I was so blessed that Rich was able to squeeze my job in today! He inspected the work I had done, said that it was good, and checked the wiring on the thermostat. There was a jump wire missing, so he replaced that and the AC came right on. Just like that! He is so knowledgeable, and blessed with talent! From when he pulled up to when he was packed up with his tools was all of 30 minutes. I am very pleased with his work, skill, and his professionalism. Signature will be the only place I call for heating and air conditioning service from now on!!

Signature Heating and Air fixed my furnace at my previous house for a fair price and even stayed very late to get the job done. In my current house they installed the air conditioning unit a few years ago and did a fantastic job. Today they were able to help me troubleshoot my current furnace and it is back up running like new. I have been using them for years and can’t recommend them enough.

Knowing that we were without heat, and that it was going to dip below freezing overnight the day our furnace quit, they bent over backward to fit us in even though it was 9:30 PM when they could get there. It only turned out to be a fuse, which was diagnosed and replaced in less than half an hour. The charge for the house call and repair was really reasonable. This group is respectable, responsible, dedicated, and highly competent. You could not ask for better service.

Rich came out the day that my husband called him to take a look at our old 1970s furnace that quit working. He came over after hours, was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable and confident in our choice to hire him on the spot! He looked at our furnace and was able to get it back in working condition. Not once did he tell us that we needed to replace the furnace. He is very honest and trustworthy. Prices are low and am sure that they cant be beat! Richard came to my home today to clean and check my furnace and water heater. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He showed me a few things to look at if I ever have any problems and how to maintain my system. He didnt try to upsell me on things I didnt need, no BS. Rich is fantastic! We lost heat on a Sunday evening and he was at our house within 45 minutes. He had us up and running in no time and was very reasonably priced. A few weeks later one of our tennants let us know the furnace wasn’t working properly in their condo. Rich came out the next day and fixed the issue. He is courteous, knowledgeable, fair priced and has great availability. You will not be disappointed.

In the middle of the night, I decided to call Excel because I thought I smelled gas. They came and shut off my heat because my furnace was in fact leaking. After a very cold night i was so worried about how long it would take to get an HVAC guy out to fix my furnace. I called Signature and Rich was at my house an hour later and fixed everything right then and there! I was not home, and while on the phone with him I could hear my dog barking nonstop, I felt so bad. But he was so nice and hung out with her until she took a treat and calmed down, that meant the world to me. Money has been scary tight lately too and an expensive incident was the last thing I needed, but luckily Rich fixed everything through just a small service charge and didnt convince me to replace stuff that didnt need to be. Even after he left I mentioned needing to change my filter and he offered to come by and show me how! It was so sweet, he seems like a really good guy and so much more trustworthy than other servicemen Ive had to call in the past. Thanks so much for your help Rich! We called Rich having been influenced by his 5 star ratings and were so happy we did! Rich responded promptly, determined the issue quickly and had it fixed in short order. Rich is knowledgeable, takes time to explain in language I understood and went out of his way to install a carbon monoxide sensor for us due to higher risks with the aging furnace. Extremely affordable for the value of his services. When we replace the old with new equipment, Rich will get our business! Wonderful to do business with such an honest, hard working individual building a business of his own.

My motor went out on my furnace so needless to say it was SO HOT in our house. I called to see if they could squeeze me in, and was told they could possibly have someone come out late (after 8pm) I was fine with that! Keith and Rich were so kind to fix the problem!! Just moved into a new townhome. I noted that the A/C unit did not turn on when thermostat was on cool. I suspected the disconnect by the unit was in the Off position, but the builder did not provide access to our A/C units. Rich was kind enough to provide same day service. He climbed down 20ft to the unit and confirmed the disconnect was not on. I hired this company and could not be happier with the results. Rich was professional, knowledgable, and very fair priced. As a new home owner I had questions about my HVAC system which he explained thoroughly. I was so satisfied I hired him a second time to replace my water shut off valves beneath my kitchen sink. This was completed however an additional problem remained in the faucet. This man persistently worked through until he discovered my problem and fixed it. Easy to schedule with, came out the day after I made the call and fixed our issue in about an hour. Price was very reasonable and never once did they push us to do anything expensive that was unnecessary, they just fixed our problem and got our air conditioner back in working order.

The most genuine and competent guy in the HVAC business!I live in Westminster and I have a 2,000 sf home that is about 27 years old. Last summer my A/C died and I think that the furnace was terminal. I called 3 companies to get bids to replace both the A/C and furnace. I received bids of $6,500, $7,900 and $13,300 (Applewood). Rich from Signatures bid was the lowest. He quoted me with Lennox equipment which was the same equipment that had lasted for 26 years and which he was taking out. I had reservations about going with the lowest bid, but I felt good about Rich (spend 5 minutes with the guy and youll see why). He and his crew came to my house at exactly the time and date that they said. They were professional, friendly and very respectful of my home and cleaning up at the end. Everything has worked great since. Rich also installed a humidifier. When I went to turn it on for the winter about 3 months later, it wasnt working. I texted Rich about it, and he came by that evening after he had obviously been working his butt off all day. He was friendly, patient and thorough and the problem turned out to be user error (me) because he did exactly what he told ME to do in the summer to turn the humidifier on, but I forgot or wasnt listening. I texted Rich yesterday to come by and take a look at my water heater as I think it is dying. Rich came over yesterday evening and spent almost an hour checking it out and troubleshooting it. Ultimately, he gave me a competitive bid on a replacement ( I had done some online research on price), but Rich also told me how I could fix it myself for about $20, and he looked up on his phone where I could get the part. No charge, but very valuable! I have Richs phone number written down because if my computer crashes, or I lose my phone (or both), I do not want to lose Richs phone number. If you are getting HVAC work bids, you are cheating yourself if you dont get a bid from Rich and Signature.
