I was referred by my real estate agent to Elevation for some tile testing and possible remediation. From start to finish I felt like we had great communication of the method, cost and execution of environmental tests. Even going the extra step to get quotes from remediation companies and starting and certifying the remediation process. It was a great experience and would use them again.

I have a rental and was thinking of updating the ceilings before tenants moved in. I wanted to have popcorn ceiling tested before the work started and so glad I did! I had a tight turnaround and called Jonathon. He was on the ball and got in same day due to my circumstances and even results by EOD. I was so impressed and he even helped me find bids for abatement. Jonathon was very professional. He was quick to respond to any emails or phone calls and was very knowledgeable on asbestos in homes and associated state/federal regulations. Jonathan made this process as easy as I can imagine it can possibly be. I CANNOT imagine having a better experience with an environmental testing service. We worked directly with Jonathan and within a few minutes of him showing up, I knew we made the right choice. Not only was he incredibly polite and respectful of our property, but while he was taking samples, he gave us a lot of information on asbestos that was not covered by previous inspectors. I saw that he was meticulous about getting a clean sample, and in cases where there was leeway, even asked if we had a preference on where to take a given sample (since youre getting a small hole in the wall/floor/ceiling). He explained where he expected to find asbestos and why, then pointed out some inconsistencies with some testing reports that we had done previously. The turn around on lab results were returned more timely than expected, and his final report was fully thorough. Once he sent us the report, he explained how the manifestation of this particular asbestos is of the lowest risk to become airborne and offered to show us how to abate it ourselves. We obviously accepted! He didnt stop there. He sent us links to all of the tools and equipment we would need, along with a few nice-to-haves, and even left a roll of the specific tape we would need to seal the bags.Of all the services Ive contracted for my house, they stand out head and shoulder above the rest. They are true experts and have shown me that customer service is not dead - it lives here.

On my first call to him, before I even made an appointment, Jonathon was willing to answer my questions regarding potential asbestos in the flooring I was planning tp replace. After that, I had him come out to take samples of the floor. While on site, he took the extra time to walk me through the entire house, and the crawl space, to point out other potential areas of concern. I learned more about asbestos, lead and mold hazards during his visit than I had trying to figure it out on my own for weeks prior. He even came back out for a second sample (on the house - pun intended) when I found another layer of linoleum under those I had exposed earlier. Elevation Environmentals service is first class. We had a somewhat scary idea of what we were getting ourselves into when buying a house originally built in 1924. We wanted to do a to the studs remodel, while preserving some/most of the beautiful existing architectural elements; two ideas that are sometimes at odds with one another. We worked with Jonathon Milazzo, who patiently took the time to understand our goals and explain everything we wanted to know about how and what to abate in the house, if it needed abatement. We came out pleasantly surprised, learning that some homogenous walls didnt in fact have asbestos—while other walls/ceilings/floor materials we learned the best way to approach them. Jonathon helped us acquire multiple bids to arrive at our final decision for the remediation team, and we now have a house thats completely asbestos-free, with an air clearance certificate, with a price that fit our budget.

On January 22, 2020, Jonathon Milazzo came to my home for a $250 air quality inspection. He arrived promptly on time with a friendly and professional courtesy. Jonathon listened to my concerns about the quality of the air in my house, then took several electronic measurements throughout my home. He provided me with valuable health, scientific, and regulatory information (about toxins and asbestos). He honestly told me that I did not have an issue with C02 and particulate matter in my homes air, but did discover some unseen water issues and potential plumbing problems that could be contributing a mold problem. He gave me the option to do further testing and ultimately did not bill me for his hour-long visit. I trust Jonathon for objective professional advice and will be referring him to my friends.
