You can ignore any bad review before because there is a new management team in the building! & my experience here has been amazing after new management took over. They will honestly take care of you. I can say I had a stress free stay and felt much at home. There maintenance staff is also fast and sufficient when needed. I would recommend my friends and family here.
Been meaning to leave this review. Overall, am satisfied and my unit is fantastic. I stay in a unit that has the loft, it’s great. Tyler and Laurie are 5 Stars, they’re FANTASTIC. Easy to work with, good at explaining, and the two gets on things immediately. I’ve stayed in apartments since college and they’re the best management I have ever had, no joke. The main maintenance guy seems overwhelmed and a bit standoff-ish, but April and the AC guy are great! The only cons really are some of the residents are not too great (it’s just life and the neighborhood), and the parking can be a nightmare. Some of the neighbors are just destructive and have no sense of cleanliness, and have like 10+ people in and out of a 1 bedroom. Some of the buildings are cleaner and more presentable. I would definitely consider the townhome units first, then if that doesn’t work out.. pick a good building on the apartment side (sorry but AVOID building J by all means, and the apartment building near like the dog trash/eating area). Tyler and Laurie have addressed all of my inquiries if there was a problem though, they’re great!
Very cute place. Every member of staff Ive come in contact with has been pleasant. Had a maintenance issue and they came to fix it within minutes. Hard to find that level of service in most places.
The management and maintenance team are great! Chris from maintenance is awesome! He communicates arrival time, maintenance issues and resolution options and is very personable! The complex itself is older but under the new management they are doing a great job of updating things and fixing issues left from past management!
Moved in July 2020Nothing but negative experience here:-Flooded Apartment During Christmas-Noisy Neighbors never a quiet day-Property is not up-kept, dirty and broken commons-Pest control doesn’t listen or communicate properly (on purpose) x3-Vandalism-Commons areas close due to trash/neglect-Narrow parking-No snow plows-Stolen packagesOnly Positive:+ Deposit was returned (:Left July 2021Laurie is the worst Tyler is the property manager and is the one who took care of anything we brought up…Laurie was always bothered by our concerns.
Just moved in, and the move in process was amazing with Village on Cypress. The office staff is incredible. Very personable, helpful, and caring, especially Tonya (office) and Phil (head of maintenance). Price is great for all the amenities, separate price per month for parking and utilities. Can’t wait to have this amazing home to live
Moved in last year and honestly I wasnt very impressed but I was optimistic, I was very wrong. Theyd often go days without cleaning the property, the trash bins would over-flow weekly and the water heater broke within months. Now under new management I can say things have been a-lot better, you can tell they really go the extra mile for their residents. Theyre very involved in the community!
We Love it Here we have a forever Home 🏠 Thank you Tyler and Laurie you are awesome 😎
Really enjoyed the people in the office. They were truly amazing but there is a lot that can be improved. Not much parking in certain lots and there is a monthly parking fee by an outside service. Sidewalks and parking lots don’t get plowed or maintenanced during winter making the parking lot an ice rink. The price for an apartment is outrageous for what you get but it’s also the Denver market but still very expensive for what you get. During the shutdown, this wasn’t Village but corporate, I believe corporate could have done better by providing a better plan for when majority of people were out of work on furlough or fired during the pandemic. Overall, really enjoyed the office people. They were truly amazing especially Nicole!
Last month I wrote a review with a 1 star and would’ve given zero if I could. The old staff from the office assistant manager to the head maintenance guy made it feel like it was inconvenient for them to be here and fix anything around here. I’ve only been here since September and getting anything fixed was like pulling teeth, I was so unhappy. Didn’t realize the whole staff had been replaced until I called to get my toilet fixed and it was done right away and not 3 weeks later. Called today and the new office manager Tyler actually answered the phone and I almost fell on the floor. I’m so happy to have new staff that actually care about the residents and I’m looking forward to actually loving where I live at.
I wish I could give them 0 stars.. I never do reviews but after our expierence here, I felt compelled to.My husband and I moved in summer of 2020. When we first moved in there was an imediate infestation of ants EVERYWHERE. When we contacted the office to get it taken care of, they CHARGED us for exterminators to come in. Everything in our building is so old and is tearing down. The apartment was a total mess when we got it, it was clear they had not walked through it prior to handing us the keys. Due to covid we werent allowed to tour it before. The neighbors are rude, walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING. On top of that there is so much crime in the area. 3 of my neighbors had their windows busted with BB guns. My car was also broken into and was attempted to be stolen. Thankfully they were not successful in doing so since my car was already not running properly. We also had an incident where our bath (again super old everything breaks) wasnt working so maintenance came in to fix it it took him 6+ hours because he would randomly leave for long periods of time then would come back to continue working on it. At some point he came down and told us there was one final piece he had to get and would be back, we waited for hours and he never showed until 2 days later. The way he fixed it obviously wasnt right so it happened again, this time we were told the issue was bigger and needed plumbers to come in. We agreed and they told us theyd be there Monday sharp. Again we waited and waited and they never came, my husband had taken the day off just for that. Eventually they came in the week while we were at work and not there (didnt notify or communicate to give us heads up) so they left. because they had to get them to come back ANOTHER TIME they added $50 to our rent as a fee. STAY AWAY PLEASE. I wish I could go back and never sign a lease with them.
I have been here for over a year the staff is great the area is great too. My only complaint is I have had a mice Problem and pest control will come once and not come back unless I put in another work order coming once will not get rid of the problem. I just wish this was handled in a more timely fashion so the problem can be taken care of.update issues have been resolved thank you !
Honestly this is a good place to live at, Nicole the manager has really been great help from getting us moved in here to helping us with maintenance and making sure we’re taking care of. Really big thanks to her and her team! We appreciate your hard work to keep us happy here! 🤗⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have lived here two years ago and honestly really enjoyed living here. I moved in the beginning of November and moved right back out. It was such a tough proccess. I spent 600 On moving cost to move in 800 to move out. I’m currently pregnant and it’s been so stressful. The 2nd day of moving I found a drug pipe I’m my daughters room. There was so many red flags. My whole apartment smelt like cat pee and cigarettes. So many issues in the apartment it was so unlivable. I got so desperate I moved out only a 5 days of being in my apartment. I am a single mom this has been the most stressful situation. I was asked for my keys which I gave back right away snd have not heard back from managment on how they are going to make this right. Now me and my 4 year old are living out of bags due to this situation. Nobody since day one of living here has givin me any type of solution not even the new staff. Not once have they givin me any type of tesolution.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!.....these apartments are ghetto. My first apartment was the worst experience, I had to deal with pests and no response from management. The places are infested and nothing gets done. If you call management to let them know they get upset and ignore your calls afterwards. The neighbors leave their trash out by their doors for weeks and It attracts mice. The company comes up with bogus charges when your lease is up and you don’t get your entire deposit back. They’re a scam and are only looking to take your money so BEWARE!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!
The staff here is excellent! They are very friendly and attentive. One of the best!
Very friendly and professional staff. I have lived her less then a week and I am very impressed so far. I had a couple of maintenance repairs needing to be complete. I submitted my request and they came within a couples of hours after submitting my request.
My family and I have lived here for 5 years now. We love the proximity of the school and bus lines. While anyone could pick any place apart the management here has always been helpful and more than fair to us. Just this morning i went to the office to see about repairing my washing machine. An hour later a knock on my door let me know they were ready to jump on it. One. WOW. Im happy today this is our home.
Weve only lived here a short time, but so far, The office people are super friendly. Maintenance is quite fast to respond to any issues, big or small. Our apartment renovation is one thing that attracted us here, compared to other places in this area. The maintenance guys are great! Neighborhood is very quiet. A great school is within walking distance, which is a plus for us. Complaints we have is people taking their dogs out, not everyone goes to the designated areas and it shows. Plus not everyone picks up after their pet designated area or not. The trash in the parking lot could be better too. Constantly see alcohol bottles, bottle caps, broken bottles and my 15yr old daughter found a bong in front of our car one afternoon. One last issues is not being able to BBQ, a few bad apples ruined it for everyone it seems. We loved to BBQ too. We really enjoy living here though.
I love this place! Its home and everyone who works here are very attentive to your needs. Hope to be here a very long time.
These guys are great. While the vast majority of our neighbors were wonderful, it’s a budget complex and the office had to deal with difficult tenants from time to time; those not keeping their places in good order and/or keeping up with their rent. My guess is that many of these one-star reviews are those folks who “made their own bed.” Really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend.
Horrible place to live!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! COMPANY CHARGES YOU FOR ANYTHING!!!! aside from that there are law enforcement incidents every week. There have been issues with amenities. The facility has no gym as listed and has had it under construction for the entire year I lived there. The place is basically as bad as it can get. To top it all off. I moved out of my townhouse on October 19th and my lease was up in November and they charged me over 600$ for 13 days in the month of November. Company constantly charges it residents for anything they can to keep the deposit because theyre loosing all their other residents.
Living here was honestly a nightmare!!! No parking ever!! Our townhome always smelled like cigarettes from the neighbors. You can literally hear everything! The workers there will literally go into your home not caring if you are there or not!!! Hated living here and everything about this place!!!Not a safe area either!
I live in Orange County, but work on the weekends in Denver for my emergency dental company. I decided to rent from Village at Cypress due to the price. Very Clean and well maintained apartments. For the price I was expecting much worse.
The management has really stepped up and gone above and beyond to help my mother with her living situation. My previous review was based on an incident in which I was not fully involved and after following up, it has come to my attention that the manager for this complex is the exact opposite of what I stated in my earlier review. I have to apologize for my ignorance in having commented on a situation that i was not fully aware of. I take full responsibility of my actions and withdraw my earlier review and change it to 5 stars!! In fact without help, my mother may have ended up homeless. That is not only empathy, it is kindness and is deserving of a heartfelt Thank you!!!
Lived here for close to 2 years now and probably going to renew for a 3rd. The townhome Im in is a little older (not renovated yet), but if I ever have any maintenance problems, they are addressed quickly. The staff is friendly and professional. Nicole, in the leasing office, and Eric, in maintenance, are both very helpful. Also, The Village is dog-friendly which is really great. Overall, a good living experience!
Great prices, good location, and the woman in the office was very friendly and helpful. However, its a smoking friendly community? Hard pass. What a way to ruin an entire community with cigarette smoke.
The Village on Cypress apartments are a wonderful place to live. My experience here has been nothing but great. Nicole (property manager) has been the most diligent and kindest person to work with. She made what was a stressful moving-in process so much easier than any other place I have ever rented at before. Ever since I’ve moved in their whole team has been nothing but helpful. Prices are extremely fair for where it’s located and my apartment is absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be renewing my lease for years to come!
Lived in this apartment 3 years and when the current management had around 1 month. In the last year the crime in this apartments increased significantly. I had seen cops Chasing some individuals a couple of times. Also in my building side we only had one entrance when the entrance is block you pretty much are stuck. When you call the office you will be luck if they answer. Today I received a collection notice in my home after a year. I followed up many times with the current management and made sure nothing was owed. They had my current address and never sent me a bill and after 1 year I come to find out they sent me to collections! I was a tenant that never gave issues, I was one time on all my bills and then this. If your trying to buy a home dont risk to rent for a company that cant be responsible. Management should be diligent about sensitive situations like credit. By the way I already paid this bill.
Price is kind of high but so is all of the Denver/Thornton area. The staff is super friendly and maintenance is very responsive. I have not had a bad experience with anyone. In general it is quiet and there is a nice park and school near by.
Resident from 2013-2019; I waited quite some time before writing a review, as I wanted to be as fair and honest as possible. As with any properties, there are pros/cons. I resided in both the apartments and the townhomes during the 6 year timeframe; as such, I experienced quite a bit (including four management changes, and ownership change)Pros:• Relatively quiet• Relatively Safe• Close proximity to freeways• Will someday be very close to RTD line• Maintenance is PROMPT• Office staff is respectful & helpfulCons:• Pricing is not transparent (more to follow)• Amenities are wrongly advertised/misleading• Rodents (seasonal mice infestations & large rats)• Poor enforcement on pets/breeds; allowing several large dogs in small living quarters• Property ALLOWS smoking• Buildings are becoming structurally unsound; mold is presentTo elaborate:In addition to rent, expect +$70 to +$140. This was for both of their one-bed units (So, $1400 “rent” is actually $1470-1540/month).Fees include Water, Sewer, Trash, Electric*, gas*, Service Fee. Pets add an additional fee of course. These fees vary significantly depending on season, unit, tenants on lease, and number of vacant units (“communal fees”)**gas/electric are ALSO paid to XCELProperty charges for lighting, heating of pool, A/C in office, irrigation, filling/draining pool, etc.My average XCEL utility bill for the 633sq. ft. townhome: $90/monthFor the the 804sq. ft. One bed Loft apartment: $150/monthRe: AmenitiesThe pool is small and shared with an adjacent property (which is an H.O.A., not a managed property). I rarely utilized it, as it was typically full of minors. The Fitness Center was advertised upon move-in (2013). This facility did not even exist until 2017. No valid reason was ever given when asking about this. I don’t know if it is now open, but after having the grassy space outside my unit fenced in as a “dog park,” (i.e., noise) and a gym/clubhouse built immediately across the street (i.e., great!) with promises that it would be open for use “by Oct [2018]” I decided to renew a 6th lease, going against my previous decision. Oct came and went. As of Summer 2019, Fitness Center/Clubhouse still being advertised, still not open. When Winter 2019 hit, the “seasonal mice” became huge rats (squirrel-sized) which chewed through the dishwasher draining/wiring, tunneled throughout the four-plex (could be heard around the clock in the walls, clawing & chewing). I could no longer leave food out for my dog. When asked by pest control if the rats were “hanging out/visible In the unit or only seen/heard?” It became clear that they were VERY aware of the issue (obviously only “passing through” my unit to get to their food source or nest, but still...rats are rats). This was the final straw, as the year had seen a complete turnover of every unit in the fourplex but mine— I, too would be checking out.Again, I waited long and thought hard before writing this review. I know it’s long, but I lived at this property for over half a decade. If it were horrendous and if I felt there were better options that made moving worthwhile, I would have acted sooner. Rental property/multi-family housing always presents challenges.Overall, IF the amenities they promise ARE now truly available, I’d recommend checking the place out to see if it fits your needs. If they are NOT yet open, I’d question WHY (after being built OVER 3yrs ago, why is a pristine building full of gym equipment being wasted despite residents paying for it?).The “dog park” is a 60’x60’ grass area. The “playground” is a City of Thornton Park (Columbia Park). The “trails” are the sidewalks/bike paths along the Platte River. For those who claim “no deposit back!”I received mine. Granted, I was charged fees I paid upon move-in (again deducted from deposit), but the fact that I DID receive a check in the mail ~35 days after move-out for 60% of my deposit 6yrs ago...I’m ok with that. Many great memories were made here!:)
Ive lived here since November 2014. The start was a little rocky but the manager Rene has done a great job turning it around. The maintenance staff is excellent now with the new people added. They fix things within an hour or so of putting in the request. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend living here.
Boiler/ furnace leaking water. Maintenance came but my mom was not able to say what was needed because of language barrier and legal blindness so maintenance left and than came back. That was fixed but I added the request for bad odor coming from that same closed and no respond
My boyfriend and I just renewed our lease here. We absolutely love it here. Everyone is so helpful and quick to fix any problems we have. Its right next to I-76 and I-25 so its not hard to get anywhere. The neighborhood is amazing and its just a really great place. Everyonr here is really friendly and in the past year and few months we couldnt be happier.
I have never written a bad review but felt it was necessary this time. The staff at Newport Village are completely irresponsible. It was bad from day one but I gave them chance after chance. I took the day off to move in and was to meet with leasing when the office opened. My unit was not ready and I had to wait until around 2 to get the keys with no communication. I was handed a lease to sign with no explanation of the lease. I later had my car towed because it was in an unmarked private parking spot that I was never told about and had to pay the full cost myself of $250. I have since moved out since December and still have not received my deposit back. I called and gave my new address 3 times but was told (only after contacting corporate) that my deposit was sent to my old address. It is impossible to ever get a hold of anyone in the office. The office is closed constantly and the phone is rarely answered and when it is they tell you they will call you back and that NEVER happens. I would recommend to look somewhere else!
This place is ridiculous I called today on Saturday for EMERGENCY maintenance one of my bathroom toilet seems to overflow anytime we use the shower When I called she said it wasn’t a emergency and that maintenance will be by sometime next week . When water starts spilling everywhere uhhh this is a emergency !!!!!
This has been the worst living experience I have ever had. When I moved in my apartment was not ready so painters returned after I completed my move. They painted the carpet and a number of my personal items. Management did reimburse me for my bedspread, but not everything painted.Heat didn’t work when I needed it, required maintenance to come out four times. After living here for three weeks maintenance lied about completing work request, I received notice they had been completed that morning when they had not been. After a few months I received a bill for water, electric and trash for the building. Not my unit, but for the building. These fees are on top of my rent. Increasing my rent by some $30, these are hidden fees. The parking lot was cleared of snow, but not ice. This resulted in an ice skating rink that made walking to my car almost impossible. It took five requests to get this cleared, each time it snowed.A light in the parking lot didn’t work when I moved in. It was fixed after living here 5 months. After an “inspection” of I don’t know what I was informed the key management had did no work and they re-keyed my apartment. I never changed the locks.Management is apologetic but doesn’t care about any issues here. Their goal is to operate the apartment complex as inexpensively as possible to maximize profits for them. The result is a very poor living experience.
These townhomes are the worse maintained place that I have lived in, trash is everywhere. I also had neighbors that had domestic violence constantly, parking for townhome is almost impossible. Lack of communication by the manager and front office. When I finally broke my lease I was told that it would be an additional month of rent upon leaving they charged me more than double. Never would recommend living here.
I have only moved in less than a couple of weeks ago but the staff has been very friendly and helpful. I am enjoying where I am at. I will agree that the parking is not so good especially if you come home after 9 there is no where to park. That can be a little rough.
Overall a great place to live.. Clean and safe - staff is always pleasant when I speak to them. The only downfall is having to put my trash in my car to haul across the community to compactor. Other than that - I am happy. ZERO issues in the year and half!
No parking here on the townhome side and now to solve the problem they are gonna charge you to park after 7pm. Doesnt make sense. They should assign parking like they do at the apartment side.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!!! These apartments hate kids and military veterans! The people in the office harrassed me every day for the past 3 weeks of me renting here about how my 3 year old 2 year old kids were to loud during the day. Which goes against the Fair Housing Act. The Fair Housing Act strictly states that kids are aloud to play from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM without any questions asked. And you cant legally be evicted for a crying child. Theyre evicting me for having my wife in the appartment because shes not on the lease.Managment refused to add my wife to the lease even though we both have clean records as well as the income. Im a full-time student and I work a full time job. PARENTS: Know your rights about the Fair Housing Act. The females in the office are very Two faced and rude and talk about you behind your back. Theyre taking my $3500 I put down for 1st, last, and deposit and evicting my wife and myself and 2 young children for playing like any other young children would do. I will be be talking to legal representation about this matter.
Have lived here for almost a decade. Feels nice and homey. Kids play outside. Yards taken care of. Overall, a good place to live.
Dont bother wasting your time. My rent if never the same or what it should be. I dont mean a couple bucks either. I mean hundreds. At one point in time I was notified they were charging us incorrectly for water. So they were correcting the situation by charging everyone almost a 100 extra due to their mistake. That is your loss. Now I get notified that they dont like the address that was on my rental insurance so they are charging 100 extra for two months of rental insurance. Trash bill is always so different I mean that should be the one thing that sorta stays the same right. Then when you have these issues and want to talk to them about it they make up lies. Like oh we sent out a letter. No you did not. Takes me one call to prove I have renters insurance. They are a joke. No clue how to run a business.
My experience at Newport Village was not the greatest, when I came to look at one bedroom apartments they did not show me inside the unit but showed me the location, the price was okay up until the move in date. I got there and they were trying to tell em Id owe more a month, owe more than I could afford, the apartment was not clean at all!! I had no choice but to move in because I already had all my stuff outside on a truck ready to move in. They then fixed the price for rent but I still was not satisfied at all. When I moved in there were spiders everywhere and they were huge! I did not like that at all, I lived there for 6 months and when I moved out they tried saying they had to take 200$ from me because of the conditions as far as the carpet goes, that made me laugh because I made that place look better when I left then when I moved in! I even shampooed the carpets before I felt so Im not sure how thats possible. All they want is your money and to not give you proper catering when it comes to renting there. I am writing this now because I have left the place sense February 7th and have yet to get even get the deposit back!! They dont answer the phone, they just ignore me and tell me itll be on its way. Its been months!!
Ive had some very frustrating issues and also some great fixes with this complex:1) My husband I had to apply online because we were moving from Alaska. We applied for a certain apt online only to get a call an hour later saying that the apt we wanted was unavailable and our application fee could be applied to a different apt on a floor we did not want to live on.2) Two weeks after submitting the revised application, we got a call saying that the new apt was experiencing issues and would we be willing to live in a renovated apt for an extra $80 a month. We agreed only because it was on the top floor and I did not want to lose my application fee.3) Upon move-in day, we were shown the renovated apt which had cheap linoleum wood flooring that looked like a mad cat had gone ballistic on, heavily painted, cheap cabinets that smell of rat poison, an AC unit that did not work properly, a hall light that doesnt work, and a terrible sewage smell coming from the kitchen. We were assured that the smell would go away soon, it was only due to routine maintenance. It took a week to get the AC figured out (it still has to be set 10 degrees warmer than what you actually want), and the smell has yet to go away (it has been two and a half weeks since we moved in).The neighbors are nice in our building but across the parking lot, they are loud and rude. I was woken up twice this past week by someone honking their car horn at 6 am, presumably picking up a neighbor to go to work or school. After realizing that the sewage smell wasnt going anywhere any time soon, the manager offered us a paid move to a nearby apt on the same level as the one we had had so many problems with. The layout is different but comparable. It had its own minor issues (the internet hook up in the living room does not work & I dont think the A/C works properly but it is hard to be sure since it is winter) but still a vast improvement from the previous apt. The staff obviously wanted to make us happy without losing money. While I am glad things are more comfortable now, we will not be renewing our lease. I realize the housing market in Denver is way over-inflated but I still think Newport is charging too much for what they offer. Perhaps with the addition of a nice gym and a bit more courtesy towards residents (such as not hiring a sketchy towing company that threatens to remove a vehicle the day plates expire), this complex might be worth the cost.
My problem still hasnt gotten fixed.
Moved in last month and really love the location. Nicole the manager is the best. Also all staff at Newport.
This is the GHETTO made by Rene Rodriguez. This slum lord uses terror tactics to force residents to terminate leases early. Refuses to update anything. And allows the maintenance staff to use the parking lot as their personal junk yard. Rent here if you like taking it up the A$$.P.S. Kenny Newell was the assistant manager when I was renting here.
If you call for maintenance they take months to repair something and when i moved in my rent was a different amount and every month keeps going up and they said oh is water and trash but i work all day i just go to sleep and from 48 on water and trash bill went all the way up to 120 por month. Ridiculous!
For your money these places have decent space, Rent in the metro are is absolutely ridiculous. That being said Ive lived here about 4 years and the rent has risen from $800 to $1300. The drier vents are too far from the dryer and will take forever to dry your clothes however you do have a stackable unit in your town home/apartment. Lots of renovations have happened but youll pay for them. Theres high turn over for renters and office staff Ive seen 2 property swaps and multiple managers come and go the current Owners are a Redwood property group. I cant say anything negative about the current property management company in charge of the office and daily happenings. The homes themselves are older.....that comes with its own challenges. Alot of people complain cars get broken into but mine hasnt been. The tow company currently under contract is tow happy and WILL take your vechical without notice for even minor infractions they believe themselves to be above the law. Its typical apartment living I can say I am alot happier now that we are in a town home unit instead of the 2nd story appartment but most people keep to their own and wont bother you never had any noise complaints. The maintenance guys are friendly. And they always come out and check my problems when Ive had one. Its overall average
I lived here for 4 years, just purchased a home and moved out two weeks ago and I can honestly say that as much as I am enjoying my new home, I truly loved living at the Village. We established a great neighborhood, more of a family environment. All the children played in the courtyard together and we, as a family, watched over eachothers kids. My neighbors were amazing and we establlished great relationships that I will carry with me to my new home. It was extremely quiet, never had any issues with crimes, no shootings, no partying or loud neighbors. Everyone was very respectful of eachother and created a great environment. The previous issues that I dealt with were handled quickly and professionally. I can honestly say that this is one place I will truly miss. We made some wonderful friendships and great memories. The summers are amazing here as there is a pool that is maintained with a great picnic area for BBQs. The location was close enought to highways, which made it easy to get places. Having the elementary school within 5 minutes was truly convenient and the school is amazing. Nicole, the property manager and Eric, maintanence man (and a cute one too) were very efficient in taking care of issues and I will truly miss Nicole. She was an amazing manager. My rent was very reasonable considering the current rate for rent, but I was also there for many years. If I ever had to move out of our home, I would definately go back to the Village!!!I moved in 2 years ago And had my car towed on the 2nd day. The previous management was Horrendous and it took almost 2 years before my work order from my move in date was addressed. You could never find a parking after 8:00 p.m. and sometimes there is a stinky smell of sewer but being that we all chose to live across the street from a water treatment plant thats part of the downfall. I have seen an increase in the rent But that is also part of living in Denver. the view from my Patio is very warm and comforting, The area is very quiet I have not had to deal with noise complaints and in general the neighbors keep to themselves. The trails across the street are a great assett to enjoy. There has been a great improvement now that Nicole and the new management have taken over.
Maintenance department is top notch always quick to get the problem taken care of. We been her for 14 months now and just sign a new lease unit 3-101
I dont recommend this complex to anyone. I dont know if theyre trying to find the right people or what, but living here so far has been a hassle. They didnt offer a run through on the apartment before letting us move in. We chanced it anyway, cuz we figured any problems would be handled. We were pleased at first, despite the fact that the girl running the office was out for lunch for an hour and a half while we were waiting for our keys to move in. I figured that could have been better communication on my part so I dropped it. After moving in, they left the inspection up to us, which again was fine...except now everything that was on there had been put as no priority. The sink is leaking to where before I found it, it had been filling up the floor raising the bathroom tile. Still...nothing has been done. The dishwasher is rusted through its entire rack so we cant use it unless we rinse our dishes with rust water. Still not a priority...so whatever we hand wash dishes. Well now my refrigerator has stopped working and I have had to call 4 times over 3 days to get someone here....and I am still waiting now. In the process throwing away at least 200 bucks worth of food. Again...not a priority for them. The rent is too high for the service they offer. You can do better. And its worth mentioning that they offer an exercise facility on their website and they dont have one.
Love my new apartment. Staff was really nice.
New port village is awesome the people in the office are very friendly the maintenence are also very friendly i thought I was gonna have hard time getting in and there on line process was very convenient if your looking for a fairly priced town home well in denver any ways newport is the spot I was a little worried about my privacy being that it was a complex but I have had no problems like in other places there is also plenty of parking wich is hard to find now a days my advice check them out for yourself you wont regret it
DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY HAVE ROACHES in Building 9 for sure. We have had a bad experience from the beginning but decided to give them the benefit of doubt. When we went to go get our keys at 9am our town home was not ready and they told us to come back at 1pm, we returned at 1pm to find it still was not 100% ready, they told us we could move in but they will have prople coming in and out the next couple of day redoing the tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. We moved in and lived there for 2 months, we had no hot water in the kitchen faucet, the water heater exploded and water flooded the living room floors, it took them forever to get us a new one, you couldnt sit outside or let the kids play because it smelt like sewer so bad. That was all in 2 months, then one Saturday we get a knock on our door from a man who was dressed in plain clothes saying he was there to spray. We did not know what he was spraying for as this has never happened to us before, he said he was there to spray for roaches. BEFORE WE SIGNED THE LEASE Rene and Matt both assured us that they did not have roaches or bed bugs, That was a lie! They were sending random people to come spray every Saturday and we had to leave our home for 4-6 hours every Saturday to return to a mess and the whole place smelt like poisoin, mind you I have a 2 year old and a new baby at the time that were both getting sick from the stuff, we decided to move due to health concerns for my children and now a few months later they are trying to charge us a arm and leg for breaking the lease and of course they kept our deposit, worse place ever
I do not know what has happened, but since the first week or so of this August 2013 (there was a change in office staff and not a good change at all) the complex has gotten really bad. The complex is always dirty, the recent remodel is already being destroyed by new residents. People spit on doors, on walks, steps; there are cigarette butts everywhere. Trash that used to be picked up now sits around for a couple of days...when our lease is up, we are moving out of here.
No parking after 8 pm, I have not parking when I come home from work
Nice set up
😎💯👌
This is an apartment crap, things are damaged and not repaired after several days, the tenants do not have parking after 8 at night everyone is busy. I do not recommend this place.
