I was very appreciative of his technical expertise, personable and professional natures, and his commitments to provide quality and solutions appropriate for my needs, both for environmental (temperature home comfort) and for my finances.He not only had to deal with a wasp nest in the receptacle box at the outside compressor, but also volunteered to return at the end of his shift to ensure everything was working well.He not only cleaned the fan roller, which was filthy and reducing air flow, but also gave me options to consider to improve cooling. Impact heating and cooling opened my swamp cooler for the year in June charging $750. The young lady that came out to do it seemed to be very knowledgeable but when I asked if she replaced the pads she stated no it wasn’t needed. I told her I’m surprised because usually every year they need to be reply. I called them back in July because it wasn’t working correctly. They eventually sent someone and sure enough the pads need to be replaced. Supposedly the guy was going to have them ordered. I called them back a week later and he never told them the pads needed to be replaced or what kind they were. They sent the same guy back to check what kind of pads they are. A few days later I get a call from Laurie saying the pads are unavailable at this time and need to be ordered which would take longer than the season to use it. I’m a heart transplant patient and needed it so to be comfortable for me, my wife and I purchased a portable air conditioner for our bedroom. Now o. Hot days I’m stuck in my room. I will never ever give this company another dime of my money because if the girl replaced the pads when I asked about them in June they would have been readily available. Brittany worked to fit me in when they initially were booked for the day to fix our broken AC. With temps hitting 100 for several days in a row, this was a godsend. She went the extra mile to help us out.Mike C was the tech and was prompt, notifying me when he was on the way, he was quick to diagnose the issue, had the part in stock and fixed it up. Also made several other recommendations for maintenance and better function. Very professional and friendly.I don’t know how their price compares with others, but the customer service was wonderful, and when we were in dire need of a repair, Impact came through.

This company answered the phone. They scheduled us for the next day. They called back a little while later and said they could make it today. They came, quickly diagnosed and fixed our coolant leak. Very good service!

Told the tech the house wasnt getting cool and not much air coming from the vents. He found a line with a leak that he tightened and filled the system and changed the filter And cleaned fan. Next day the AC stopped working again. Found the evaporator coil freezing into a block of ice. I was told not to set my temp so low. (Set to 67) defrosted the system and froze again. They sent a guy out to check to see if the system was leaking and I was told no leaks found. Recently had it looked at again all to find out that the blower fan was so dirty no air was flowing through. Pieces of insulation were wrapped around one side. Some inspection.

Duane got here on time, performed warranty service, and tested the full function of the system. He didn’t leave until we were completely satisfied. It’s refreshing to have this experience provided by a professional service technician who was patient and thorough. Great job, great outcome. I highly recommend this company.

They sent Andrew out, I explained I had dripping below the air handler and that it could potentially be because of a crack in the condensate pan or improper drainage. Since we were paying him for his visit, I was hoping he was coming out to problem solve and actually fix our condensate dripping problem. In reality he was only there to sell us a new system costing us thousands of dollars. I kept saying we might as well cut open some access and look at the pan if we’ll have to replace it either way, and he kept saying the coils and the condensate pan “are not serviceable”, that there is no point, there’s no way to fix the dripping without a new system. It was very strange how he did not want to bother inspecting the pan. After some persistence I was finally able to get him to cut open access to the coils and pan. After he left I studied the pan and found out the pan was simply unlevel and sloping away from the drain. I re-leveled the pan with some shims and it began draining like normal with no leaks. Very disappointed with how he approached the job and it almost cost us a lot of money

The whole experience with Impact was great from start to finish. I originally called after hours just looking to leave a message as it was not an emergency. To my surprise, a manager answered the phone, took down all my info, and said someone would be in contact the following morning to tell me when they could be out to assist. I received a call the next morning and an appointment was set for the same day. Great! Our heat was out and it has been cold. Mike, our tech, arrived on time and was super professional. I explained to him the situation and he was quick to solve the issue. He documented everything and stuck around long enough to make sure our heat was on and going to stay on. 5 star service and much appreciated. Won’t hesitate to use them again in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for a professional organization to help solve your heating and cooling issue.

The visit I received from Andrew Burson, one of their technicians, was a complete shock. He came over for a furnace tune up (they have a special offer at a low price) but I felt he was just looking for unnecessary repairs.First, he tested the motor capacitors. Apparently (he never showed me) their capacitance (mfd) read outside the capacitor tolerance so he recommended they should be replaced. There are two capacitors in a furnace, one for the blower motor and another one for the induction motor. These capacitors can be found online for $10 -$20 and are very easy to replace, plug-and-play. He quoted $290 for each. A total of $580 for what seemed like a 10 minute job and $30 in parts.Thats not even the end of the list, they wanted $465 for a drain hose and $265 to pull out and clean the blower wheel.Im still shocked and amazed at what these guys think they can get away with. Do yourself a great favor and steer away from Impact Heating & Cooling.I have edited this review since my original review was removed. This tells me there were probably many other negative reviews they managed to have removed, so what you see here is mostly the positive ones. I have invoices and repair estimates to back up everything I say here.

Impact was able to take care of our problem the same day that I called for. They where at my door right at 2:00 pm just like they said they would be there. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He done a great job getting our issue resolved. A very good company and would highly recommend them to take care of your heating and cooling issues.

I had another company come out in april to service my air conditioner but they were unable to check the coolant. your technician mike came out and did the check and then gave me options to add coolant or replace the unit. he didn’t pressure me into a decision but gave me the information i need to make an informed decision.

I had a great experience with Impact for my heating system repair yesterday. Mike was quick but very thorough, and he even took a little time to explain how the system works so that I could look out for future issues. I was looking for an HVAC shop that is different from the sales driven, technically inexperienced big names in the area, and I think Ive found it. Ill definitely be a regular customer, and I hope to see Mike again next year for my maintenance visit.

The Techs were great. The office, not. The accounting, not. We have been Double billed numerus times, misquoted (and they did not honor price), We got on the Plan We still get invoiced for items under the plan. Not only is there better service, there is better pricing all over Denver. We will not use them again.

We had a large Carrier system installed over a year ago and were told that Impact would finish up the loose ends of the installation of our new HVAC (furnace and air conditioner) and re working of a lot of the air duct system.There were a few things that needed to be done after we paid for the installation- in the grand scheme, they were small things that needed to be finished up. (A couple of supplies needed to be moved.) Impact called a few times. They seemed concerned about the cost and such. I was fine with paying for whatever work they did despite the fact that it was in the original contract. But i really just wanted to work to be done so was fine with paying them to come back out.They never did finish the initial work which was aggravating enough. This was a very expensive system and my expectation was to have better customer service.Now the furnace isnt working at all with several issues. When i called Impact, i was given the run around. Ultimately Ive contacted Carrier to help me get a competent company fix this furnace (year old ultra expensive) furnace to work.Bottom line: this is not a good company to work with if you have to have need equipment installed. My advice would be to find a company that has the capacity to follow through on a big project.

Duane is great. But trying to call thru to speak to someone at their office is terrible. Brittany answered and wanted to know who I was, why I was calling, what I was told, I mean ridiculous amount of third degree just to call someone who told me to call them at that number! I get call sceeening to avoid sales people but it was overkill. I’m a customer trying to speak to the person your company told me to call! Brittany said the person didn’t have voicemail and my message would go into the abyss of a general mailbox but she offered to send me a manual. Uh, no thanks. I have one. I needed just a little service. Please retrain your phone staff because your techs are great but office staff not so much! Before they switched to Impact I never had an issue.

Mike was the technician who came out, and he did a fantastic job on my AC and HVAC inspection and maintenance for a move out of a home. I had called Impact Heating & Cooling to help with a last minute job before I moved out. They scheduled me in the next day. Mike came earlier than I had booked, which made my life easier, and he was a delight to deal with. He explained all issues clearly, documented and photographed all repairs made to the units, and attached it to my invoice. I am completely satisfied with their service and would use them again in a heartbeat!

Finally, someone figured out what has been wrong with my AC! Duane was detailed, knowledgeable, friendly, thought things through and solved this ongoing problem. And the fee is reasonable! Such a relief!! And Sarah in the office has been a gem.

I’m very happy with Impact Heating & Cooling! I’ve used them before and my first experience was great. I’m not handy at all so when my heat stopped working, I knew who to call. When I inquired about a service call, Jessica was quick to follow up and set up the appointment the next day. Nick Moden came within arrival window, he was very friendly and was able to resolve the issue. He explained a few things to me, which I appreciated. He also gave me a heads up about getting my AC equipment maintenance. I’ll be calling Impact in the spring!

I spent much time researching how A/Cs work prior to reaching out to Impact. When I talked to multiple companies about our situation (air only working for about an hour, 20-year unit), almost every company said we needed to get a new air condition. Instead, Impact said it could be multiple things, and Nick came out and showed us a small refrigerant leak that had impacted the amount of coolant going through the system. He was extremely thorough, talked me through the entire system, showed me why the system was actually in pretty good condition (despite its age) and very clearly diagnosed the problem. Our A/C is working swimmingly now and Im very thankful we went with Impact. Highly recommend!

We have been using Impact for a few years now after a referral. We have always felt well taken care of, never felt taken advantage of but got good deals and we know their products and the work they do is top notch. We have used them every year for tune ups and Nick did an awesome job this year! He showed up with a mask (covid timing), kept covers on his shoes, and was extremely professional. I called to see if they could possible have a tech come out at 3:30 on a Thursday and to my surprise they had one in the area and he was at my house within 15 minutes. We have been clients since 2018. They installed our new heat pump fee days ago. We are living in the old home over 100 years old. We never got cool or warm for 4 years. Since then, we did foam insulation to make whole house temperature on the control. But we couldnt get temperature down enough to stay cool in the summer. Last summer was really hot summer. Going to bed was so miserable. So we finally decided to go for new heat pump. That was awesome, cooled off to 66 and kicked heater off right away. We tested.Today was over 90 degree sticky & humid day. Whole house was nice & cool!! Kept perfect temperature. Owner Paul & crews did wonderful job!! That was 3rd time we hired them. Never disappointed!! Highly recommend Impact heating &cooling!!!

After numerous attempts to identify a company that could service my wine cellar refrigeration unit I was referred to Impact. They were awesome. 100% the type of professional you can trust. I almost never write up vendors on the web so this review is of merit. BTW I am an engineer.

NIck was pleasant and prompt doing an annual furnace check up; he was conscientious about using shoe coverings when he came in; he clearly explained what he did.
