I have been coming here for years to get tanned for all of my events. Nothing compares to this formula! Service is wonderful and prices are unbeatable!!

Great tan but inflexible when you’re in a bind. I booked a same day appointment but quickly realized I needed to push it back 30 minutes. I asked the salon if that would be ok since every 15 minute slot was still available. I was told a $25 rescheduling fee would apply - which nearly doubles the price of the tan. Had the salon been packed all day, a fee would be fair since the slot wouldn’t be available to others. But the salon was wide open. Shelly, who is normally super friendly, went out of her way to be unhelpful and stick to a policy that didn’t make sense in this situation. I’m disappointed she’d rather lose a customer then be flexible when she clearly had plenty of availability. So unfortunate. No need to book before being in the parking lot as there’s always plenty of openings.

For a shy person, I felt very comfortable there.. I am very pale and absolutely love my tan 🤩 Ive never had color like this

Salon Genesis has the best employees! They make you feel right at home and are very professional at the same time. Shelly, the owner has done amazing things with the business including helping Haiti. She has a heart of gold. The people that work for her; Tiffany, Morgan, Christina, and Jenny (those are all the ones I have met) are all so awesome. I got a spray tan at the new location on 1488 inside the Pilates Place building. The service was EXCELLENT and my spray tan looked great. They were on time so I was able to get in and out. I would highly recommend this location if you are in the back of The Woodlands like me. You wont be disappointed.

I’ve had numerous spray tans here, two of which were for my bridal portraits and wedding. I had two different people for each of those, which ordinarily would frighten a bride but I trust all of their staff. They are super professional and do a fabulous job. The tan lasts easily 7-10 days depending on my activity level. Highly recommend!

Overall good experience. My hands were a little uneven but I contacted the owner and she offered to fix it if I came by. The color was great and lasted for about 8 days! I love that they have the option to do the quick dry formula!

My experience with Salon Genesis was awesome! I needed a tan for a special event and it came out flawless. I recommend the 2 hour tan so you do not have to wait around all day before you can wash it off. Shellie Guthrie does an excellent job with custom spray tanning! Amber is great as well. Good christian family owned. Its only $25 if your a member and I tip $5 every time. So $30 is cheaper than the booths at all the local tanning salons. I think the annual membership was $50 and makes sense. Shellie is very resourceful and can help refer you to other related businesses. Dont be late! There is only a 15 minute window and summer is the busiest time of year! I hope this helps!
