I was hit hard by Hurricane Laura. After cleaning up most of the debris, a friend suggested I contact Steve at Veteran Restoration. Steve drove all the way down from Dallas, helped finish tarping up my roof which he didnt have to do, and went to work quickly doing demo, drying and dehumidifying, and finally spraying antimicrobial on my home. The work they had done was extremely thorough, efficient, and professional. Then, a second hurricane, Hurricane Delta hit. Without hesitation, the team was back in action drying my home again.Their dedication in the Cameron Parish and Lake Charles, Louisiana areas was remarkable. In the end, with the estimates they wrote, we were able to max out our insurance claim and build much stronger than before. They stayed in contact, pushing the insurance company to pay out the ENTIRE TIME until it happened. If you have water damage from a broken line or a major storm, do yourself a favor and eliminate any hassle with insurance. Use this business and it will be much easier and save you a ton of headache. I heard many people say they dont need it and just dried their houses with fans, and now have mold inside their walls. Even though it was late on a Sunday evening, Steven was quick to respond and extremely patient even though I was distraught (freaking out). He gave me all my options, explained the entire process for filing an insurance claim then kept me updated on the progress for repairs. I saw the Veteran Restoration Truck outside a restaurant and approached Steve and Jason at their table after they had eaten to ask them about a flooring issue I was having with water damage. Both were very responsive to my inquiry and I arrange to call them to make an appointment. This was on a Friday. The following Monday, which was also Labor Day, I called, meaning to leave a message to let them know our contractor was onsite removing some flooring and arrange for Steve to come see it. Steve answered and said hed be right over. He arrived about 30 minutes later with his water meter and took some readings. He came back today with a thermal imager to see if there was still an active water leak and confirmed there doesnt appear to be one. I really appreciate how responsive Steve was and how he used the water meter and thermal imager to confirm there was no active link. Customer service this great is not experienced often and I must say the service I received today was the best I’ve had in a while. My garage flooded from the rain and Steven was available to almost immediately help remove the water from the outside of my garage. The water from inside the garage had receded but he still assisted me without hesitation. He ensured all of the water from the driveway was removed and also volunteered to help me move my personal belongings within the garage. He accessed the problem, concluded I have a drainage issue and is referring me to an irrigation specialist so I won’t have to continue to worry about future flood problems. Steve worked on multiple properties during Hurricane Florence, I heard nothing but great things from the home owners during this catastrophic event. Veteran Restoration did a free damage assessment told me what needed to be done. They were there soon with blowers going and necessary demo work underway.
