Everyone is always so friendly and courteous. I have very difficult dog as he likes to try and bite everyone when we get there, including me but they deal with him with smiles on their face. We have developed a process to decrease the stress on H and get the jobs done. I would highly recommend Airport Vet Clinic to anyone, And, they do large animals. They are also my horses vets. Go see them!

I NEED to say how thankful I am tonight for Dr Holscher at Airport Veterinary Clinic. We had a true emergency in every sense of the word with our beloved old girl dog, Tipsy. She was in a constant seizure state, and we knew she couldnt recover. Our regular vet doesnt do after hours emergencies..in fact no vet in Terre Haute does after hours emergencies, especially if you are not a regular client. Every vet office I called refers you to Indy Vet. How are you supposed to transport a large dog that you have loved for 11 years, in a constant, unrelenting seizure in the back seat of your car...crying every inch of the 70 mile trip? Knowing the end of your destination is to end her suffering? At 12:00 at night? Out of every office I called, Dr Holscher...who I hadnt seen in years...was the only vet that would help us. His exact words to me was Lisa, Im gonna take care of her for you...when can you be here? I dont know what we would have done without his kindness. I just cannot say enough to express how traumatic it was to watch our Tipsy go through what she was going through, and how very thankful that Dr Holscher was there to give her rest. THANK YOU!

I’ve taken my pets here for years before moving out of the area. Our family cat needed to be seen, so I referred my brother there as I had always had great experiences, and I knew that the cat’s previous owners had taken her there in the past. Airport was nicely asked if they are taking new pets and asked for clarification if the cat would be considered new. The staff member was rude, unprofessional, dismissive, and overall seemed very inconvenienced with the phone call. I am truly shocked and disgusted by this. Families are already stressed when a loved pet needs medical attention, and to be treated like this does not help the situation. Do yourself a favor and take your pet to a place that cares.

This is a great vet. We have had dogs with them for over 10 years now, and have nothing but good things to say.

Called to get our dogs into a new vet since Wabash Valley is trash and their staff are unprofessional. The people at Airport Vet Clinic dont accept new clients. Glad you guys offer such great care to the Terre Haute community. After reading all the other nasty reviews people have posted, I am glad they are full up of idiots who go there. Would rather have my animals alive and taken care of than deal with half the stuff people have posted negatively.

Our dog had her first, and our first, litter under the care of this Vet. She had them New Years day. We did have some issues and they called me back within 10 minutes at 8pm on New years day. They answered every question we had. When we went in surgery was needed, and they were very accomodating. For the surgery needed the price was 30% of what I expected, so that was a great surprise. Momma is making a great recovery and the pups are growing fast!Quick update. We have just passed 5 weeks since our puppies were born. They just had their first shots. The price of shots and their first visit was extremely reasonable. In fact, 5 sets of shots and 6 exams were cheaper than a night out to dinner or the movies.

Only place i could find nearby that would treat my bird, but they refuse to accept a new client dont waste time contacting if you arent already registered..no waiting list

I recommend taking your pets here they are really great and caring they took very good care of my dog when she was very sick wasnt for sure if she was going to make it but she did and shes doing great and they were double booked but said to bring her in and I thank them very much

Airport Vet has always taken care of my pets. They are very caring and seem to like them. I even use their boarding services because I know they are are in good hands.

I have taken both my dog and kitten here and they are seriously the best. The staff is very friendly and the veterinarians are very nice as well. They always take time to answer any questions I may have. They are also very reasonably priced! They also have an app you can use that gives you access to your pets shot records among other information.

I was referred to Airport by a coworker who spoke highly especially of Dr.Lowdermilk. They have been so patient with our 80lb lab mix whom we adopted back in the spring and has major anxiety about the vet. We could not be happier with the care our doggo has received.There is one thing I would like to bring to their attention, the middle aged woman who is thin with shoulder length dark hair who works up front was extremely rude. She needs to find a way to be more pleasant and not speak to people like they are idiots. In trying to explain something to her she cut me off mid sentence and was terse in her tone.

So I explained to them that my cat might have gone into labour and would it be possible to get into contact with them after hours in the event of an emergency, and they told me that would refuse service if I didnt already have an account with them (which I dont, as we use a different vet clinic that doesnt have a reliable after hours service). I said to them, what if shes dying and youre just going to refuse to help her? They pretty much just said yeah, because I dont already have an account with them. But dont worry, I called Heritage Animal Hospital and they were glad to help her in anyway they can and refer me to a doctor on call after hours. Go to Heritage!

Friendly staff, reasonable prices. I was worried about getting a dental cleaning on my 12 yo Boston and the Vet reassured me and provided good info. And when I brought her back for yearly shots during Covid-19, they had great procedure in place to get her from parking lot to allow for their Staff and my safety. I am very pleased with the Staff and Service received and feel fortunate that they had space to accept new client when I called.

Airport Veterinary Clinic has take care of our family pets, farm livestock, and 4-H animals for years! They are an excellent animal health care facility that is caring, considerate and very kind to our pets and animals. When we had to have two of our beloved pets cross the rainbow bridge they were so very caring and respectful to our pets, family, and our grief. I can’t say enough great things about this clinic! The staff is the very best and so is Dr. Holscher. I trust him completely with my dogs and horses and have been seeing him for well over 30 years. This last visit was for another ear infection in one of my Heelers, H, who loves everyone but is a complete a-hole when he gets to the Doctors office and has to be heavily sedated or he will eat your face off. Poor guy...so when we arrived the tech met me at the car, we sedated H and by the time we walked in, weighed him and got all checked in we were good to go to an exam room where H promptly laid down and went nighty night. Dr. Holscher came in and did his exam, medicated him, we talked about his ears, clipped his toenails (always take advantage of a good sedation especially if you have an a-hole dog like I do) and I went up to the desk and took care of Hs bill. By the time I got back to the exam room the wonderful techs were unfolding the gurney and getting ready to roll H over on it and then were off to the car with the techs doing the grunt work while a blissfully ignorant dopey dog went for a ride. I believe we finally have the recipe for less drama at the Doctors office for my sweet boy, the a-hole. Thank you to the staff and Drs Holscher and Loudermilk for all you do for our babies. And yes, I highly recommend Airport Vet with the utmost confidence.

I have a 2 year old Dachshund that has a serious attitude problem with strangers and she behaved so well at her appt. I was thrilled. I had taken her to a vet closer to home but she didnt like anyone there. Her last visit I had to carry her out she was so upset. I had been to Airport Vet Clinic before with my Boston. Really glad I went back.

I would rate this veterinarian ten stars if I could. My dog was lethargic and in obvious pain, and I was not able to get him into my regular vet. I was so worried about him. Luckily, I was able to bring him to the Airport clinic. Dr. Holscher was amazing. He was very kind and diagnosed my dogs problem right away. He explained exactly how to give my dog the medications he needed. Milo is feeling much better thanks to Airport Vet Clinic, and Im so relieved and thankful!

I was nervous about the cost of taking my pet to the vet. Everyone here was very friendly. They moved us through our appointment in good time, especially since we had to keep a sick pet calm, yet we still had adequate time with the doctor. The price was very affordable & I felt that they genuinely wanted to help animals.

Terrible terrible experience there. My uncle normally goes there with our other two cats and we’ve never had this happen before. My cat had went there to get shots and spayed. I had asked them yesterday when I dropped her off, how much it was all going to be, they told me $170- $200. Then I go there to pay the bill today and they tell me, $378!!! What? Why was it that much!? You told me yesterday that this is not what I was gonna pay. They wouldn’t let me have my cat til I paid it. They are terrible people, and a terrible place to take your fur babies. Please do them a favor and save some money, and take them to a vet that will be upfront with you and not lie to you.

I have been taking my pets here for years. Recently, my two year old boxer passed away unexpectedly. I was frantic in trying to find a way to help him. Megan answered my call and stayed calm while I was desperate to help him. Although he passed away that day, I cant thank Megan and the staff enough for the support and the great care that they have always provided my pets. Highly recommend!

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PET TO THESE PEOPLEThis all took place just tonight. My girlfriend And I have 2 baby rabbits. Well I was asleep and my girlfriend got home from work and went to feed them and one started to seize, it didnt look good. Some called the emergency line, and he told us it seemed like he was passing. So I thanked him and got off the phone (hoping he would pass quickly so he wouldnt suffer any longer) well then the seizures started happening more and more frequent and he started gasping for air. So I called back and told him we would meet him at the office for an emergency visit (already expecting him to be put down, but I didnt want him to suffer anymore) and we planned to meet in 20 minutes. Well as we were walking out the door he passed. So I quickly tried to call the vet back to let him know so he could turn around instead of making it all the way to the office. Well when I told him, this is the conversation:Vet: Well have you been here before?Me: NoVet: Heres the problem, now Im not going to get compensated for this and you have wasted my personal time. This is why we dont deal with people like you.Yes, you read that right. This is why we dont deal with people like you. And he hung up on me. Keep in mind I am on speaker phone and my girlfriend is completely upset. I HAD NO PROBLEM PAYING HIM FOR HIS TIME, I WOULDVE PAID FOR THE VISIT JUST BECAUSE HE DID MAKE IT ALL THE WAY THERE. MONEY WAS NO PROBLEM AT ALL. But instead, this greedy, slimeball of a human being, insisted on scalding us when we literally just a few seconds before that lost our beloved pet. If he wouldve let me talked, or didnt hang up on me I was going to offer to make things right. But thats what we got.I am literally at a loss for words. I cannot believe that this vet, from a place Ive heard so highly about, just did this. I hope everyone will read this and think twice about this place, this greedy, horrible place should not be in business.

Yes they absolutely care about your pet! They saved our Dogs life! Found out she has diabetes and got us going with what she needed. When I felt something was off and called to find out what was going on? I was called back soon after and spoke with the vet. I was satisfied with speaking to him and what he said. Thursday we took her there to get her sugar tested and it was high. The Vet suggested our dog she stay over night and have more test run and observe her. We agreed that was what she needed to. I called the very next morning and they had found out what was wrong with her. The Vet and staff have been nothing but nice to us! Im truely Greatful to them because I think she wouldnt be here if they didnt help! Thank you Airport Vet!

This is a good place to go if you have animal trouble. the staff is helpfull when examining your pet and can be called in an emergency. if you think you will have an animal emergency in the near future, ask for Dr. Hursures number.

We take our kitties there. One of our cats had a lot of medical issues and they were very kind when we had to put him down. They even imprinted his paw for us. We got a new kitten recently who threw up blood one night- eeek!- and the emergency vet in town was closed. Dr. Lowdermilk took our emergency call and was so nice. They are very well priced for a vet and never throw random tests at a problem. I have always gotten my bill and been surprised how low it was.

I love Dr. Holscher and his staff. They are so knowledgeable, personable, and understanding. They were the most compassionate people during my labradors cancer diagnosis and death. Taking my new pup there now, too. Couldnt be happier with this place!

WHAT A JOKE my dog has a hematoma. inflamed to an inch thick on his ear they push me out two more days quote me $175 i get there and they say i have to COME BACK IN TWO DAYS for them to actually do anything charge me 18.50 for his nails to be trimmed and only trim one foot. refuse to refund that and try and charge me $386 for the procedure up front mind you after quoting less than half that. so i decline to take him to another vet i KNOW is competent. so they charge me 85 for the nails they didnt do and for the visit

I use to bring 5 of my pets to this company, one of the vets is very good, but the younger one doesnt seem nearly as good as the older one. And the office personal were very rude. Everyone I know and myself will be transferring to another vet office now.
