We bring our own oil for my wife’s Mercedes. They are always on time with the appointment and we are in and out quickly. My wife is a nurse across the street and have even offered to pick up and drop off if needed. Great service!

Jason was very helpful each time I called, although I unfortunately had to send my car to the dealer, I am extremely happy with the professionalism and understanding he holds with his customers. He also informed me of the student discount which I hadnt thought to ask for. If my car has problems in the future (although I hope not), I will definitely be coming back.

I took my vehicle here to be inspected/repaired for a mystery issue that we couldn’t locate the problem of for the longest time, and had tried everything to repair ourselves for the last year. Don’s immediately was able to locate the issue and promptly made the repair for me, all for a very reasonable price! They were extremely fast, friendly, and professional. My 1970 Ford F250 highboy had been sitting for over two years. Carburetor issues as well as fuel pump, steering, and braking were all in need of repair. I had asked around town for quite some time before someone had suggested Dons. I have had great service from Dons on other (newer) vehicles but hadnt thought of them when thinking of this 50-year old truck. Don and Jason were exceptionally responsive, polite, and knowledgeable. Don service center is always professional. I took a car in for a young lady because she needed it repaired to make it a safe driving vehicle. I asked them to inspect the vehicle and give me a list of what was wrong and their opinion on how we should start working on the vehicle. Another garage had given her a similar list and wanted her to start scheduling the almost $6000.00 in repairs that far exceeded the value of the car. Dons on the other hand give me a list of what was wrong and told me that the car honestly wasnt worth fixing she would be better off taking the money and buying another vehicle.

Work done as discussed in the time was was suggested. Price quoted was the final also. No hidden expenses. Happy with the service preformed

I just paid 80 dollars for them to tell me that something is wrong with my vehicle they just cant figure it out. I am not rich like 80 dollars is a lot of money for nothing. Ridiculous.

We’ve lived coast-to-coast and had pretty good auto service but Don’s is hands-down the most expert-professional-helpful-personable EVER. They could run a clinic on how to run a business for most others in this area and beyond.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Completely unprofessional, I’ve used them many times for the same vehicle and EVERY SINGLE time I’ve had to take it back for rework, took it in to get a new clutch, had to take it back 3 different times for them to get it right, not bleeding the slave correctly. After that the transmission mount dropped, they were the last to touch the transmission, took it back. When I got it back the shift linkage immediately went out. THEN For whatever reason they took the wiper motor off and left it completely unbolted and just left it sitting on top of the engine. I will never be taking anything else back to this business as they do shoddy work and are obviously so incompetent they can’t even put back what they removed.

My check engine light came on and the car was running rough. One call to Dons and my 87 TA was back in top shape in no time at all. As always Jason was professional and walked me through the diagnosis and solution prior to doing the service.

Our daughter attends ISU. She sends me a video of a strange noise under the car, after talking to a few friends they said probably a suspension problem very $$. I call a few shops in the area these guys seemed to have a handle on it, and theyll drop her off at ISU and pick her up. She drops the car off, they gave her a ride back to her dorm. A few hours later I get the bad news, 40 bucks ! It was just an exhaust bracket making all the noice.Trust worthy.....

We received such “above and beyond” service from Jason and the team at Don’s that I’m hesitant to say too much lest I cause a reader’s expectations to be too high. But the simple facts - we threw a belt one evening driving through Terre Haute on a road trip, they got us in the next morning, diagnosed the problem and located a part the same day though the part wasn’t local so took one day to arrive. They got it fixed the next day and got us back on the road. The cost was reasonable especially considering all the legwork Jason went through, shuttle rides to and from our hotel, and the labor of replacing the part. I am very satisfied. Thanks Jason and Don’s!

Friendly honest service!

My timing belt started to go bad in Terre Haute, four hours from home, I contacted Dons Service Center based on their excellent on-line reviews. Don personally answered my call and provided me a quote within 15 minutes, which happened to be over $400 less than another quote I received from a local dealer. He even adjusted the work schedule for the following day to fit me in, to minimize my time away from my business back home. John provided me door-to-door shuttle service to and from my hotel. I cant express enough my appreciation for the great customer service and quality of work/value I received from Dons Service Center. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to everyone!

Ive taken several different vehicles to Dons multiple times for various reasons and have come to expect excellent attention to detail and outstanding customer service. Everyone on staff is competent and honest. Their prices are competitive, they work quickly and communicate well - you know exactly what is being done to your vehicle and whether the work is needed or can be delayed.

Dons Service center is my go to place for my 1966 MGB repairs and has been for many years. Also had outstanding service on my other vehicles and highly recommend them! Don is a really nice guy too and I truly appreciate the professionalism of he and his staff.

Really like Dons Service Center. They are friendly and courteous on the phone and in person. They explain what needs to be done and what the cost will be. They do great work and make sure everything that they fix is fixed correctly. Last time that I was in we thought the alternator was making a noise and needed changed. They changed it but the noise was still there (the car was in their bay and they made the determination, not me), They took the part off and even though it took considerable labor, put the original back in at no charge. They then diagnosed the problem and gave me a range of solutions and prices. Great job guys. Thanks again.
