Super professional and knowledgeable. Very kind and patient. They dont try to sell you what you dont need, just making sure you find what you do. And yltye people in their lumber are precious. So nice and helpful. I had one of many good experience visiting this store.

I have been a regular here for years. It is probably the best hardware store in Bergen county. But calling it a hardware store is selling it short because they have a full lumberyard so you can just about get anything here for construction that you can at Home Depot. Everyone is nice, the selection is excellent, there is plenty of parking, and the prices are fair across the board. Highly recommended.

I do so love going to this hardware store. Yes, its a chain, but the staff makes it feel like a local store, and any time I can go here before Home Depot I do (not a knock again Home Depot; this just has a calmer, more collegial feeling). Everyone is incredibly helpful, and my home repairs have gone more smoothly because of their help.

Dave and the cashiers were a big help. They were all very friendly. Dave helped me not only with my walker but also helped me to sit down in a chair, that was available, because I was having so much trouble. The whole store looks really good. PROS: This is the best hardware store around. They have everything you need from home appliances all the way to your car. Normally, I always walk out of the store with the item I was looking for. They are on a side street with a decent size parking lot which makes it a good location:CONS: They are the most overpriced place I have ever been in. I can find the same stuff in lowes or the Home Depot for a quarter of the price at the same quality. Also, some of the employees in there are not that nice. They act as if they just dont want to be there.OVERALL: I think their quality, location and quantity of items are the greatest in the area, however, The home Depot is much better at those aspects. If you dont mind spending extra money, and you live closer to tenafly than a Home Depot, then I recommend this place.

Benjamin Brother hardware store is a friendly place to shop. The shelfs are stocked with almost everything you need for your do it yourself home job. The sales people are knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable for the most part.

This door almost always has everything I need. If it doesnt then we can order it for you! The staff is always 100% helpful, and will proactively make sure you find what youre looking for. They also have sale on a regular basis, so if you sign up for their flyer youll be in on some good deals there.

Came to get keys made but also very glad to get advice on painting. One step closer to getting the rooms painted appropriately with a color chart I can use under the existing light at home. Great suggestions!

Always asked what you need help with, no need to go searching for 20 minutes. They carry most everything for every project & help on how to do it right. A medium size hardware store with a mom&pop feel. Shop local folks or theyll be gone too!

Always a great store! Employees try very hard to please. You get lost in those larger big box hardware dores.

I go here all the time, exceelent service, all sales reps are knowledgeable, you receive alor of assistance or they reger you to the right place.

Its products are usually more expensive than Home Depots, but its staff is more knowledgeable and accessible, so youre much more likely to get what you need and to use it correctly, which ultimately makes it the economical choice. And, for me at least, its closer to home, quicker to get in and out of, and a much more pleasant.
