HANDS DOWN the BEST customer service Ive ever had. A Young man that said he goes by Ty. I asked because I was so impressed by him. I didnt even have to ask for his help and I watched him walking around helping other customers also. Helped me load everything into my car. This young man was AMAZING. Thank you TY. π
I purchased a washing machine on 26JUN21, from the Loweβs in Temple TX, the associate went to the back and brought the machine up front to ensure it was in stock. He then tagged the machine with my information and confirmed a delivery date. I received a phone call today saying the washing machine wasnβt in stock, I called Loweβs and was not getting anyone to answer. I proceeded to the store where after almost an hour I was able to speak to a manager. The manager went to the back and was unable to find the washing machine. At this point I believe Loweβs sold the machine that I physically saw tagged with my information to another customer. I will not purchase anything else from them. At least the sales associate was on point and offered good service.As it turns out, Home Depot had the same washing machine and I got a much better deal. Now I still have to wait a week for delivery, but that is less time than Loweβs gave me for a delivery schedule.
I came with a group of well behaved dogs for group training, and we were told we couldnt come back by a woman who said she was the manager. Why?? Our dogs werent barking. We were out of the way in the lumber section. All dogs were leashed, under control, quiet, and VERY well behaved. We got so many compliments from both other customers and employees. And isnt Lowes a dog friendly stores? So...why arent we welcome to come back? Your loss, Temple Lowes. Well be taking our training sessions AND business to Home Depot! #bye
Great customer service but limited stuff with outdoor patio selection, plants and pots. But the service was great. They were there to assist, with their masks on, super friendly, during this time. I will say the store in Harker heights had more of a selection with the above mention products. See pics. But great customer serviceβΊοΈ
It was a barely occupied Lowes and the Manager felt we were in the way of customers with our dog training group. This has never happened us, especially at 8am on a Saturday. We are very aware of customers shopping cause we always move. Normally after we spend time walking the isles with our dogs we always buy a bunch of stuff, but not on this day. We didnt feel welcomed and headed to Home Depot. There the employees enjoy us and we all made purchases there.
Lowes is a good alternative to Home Depot, Free Enterprise used to mean the spirit of competition would keep prices down. Retailers now try their best not to carry the exact same size or brand as one another. Lowes has a 10% discount for all veterans well Home Depot only gives a discount to active military and retired military. Attention all veterans Lowes appreciate you.
Why are some items so difficult to find in this store? Peg board and peg board hooks and in totally different areas...with a minimal selection. However, if you need curtains or bed sheets, they have a decent selection. Makes no sense to me.

We went here to waste some time before a Drs. Appt. We hung out in the garden center. It was clean but the plants were in some sorry condition. I wanted to save them all. The patio swing is really nice, could have fallen asleep in it. Its on sale in case anyone wants one.

Helpful employees and clean store. The lighting definitely leaves something to be desired. My wife and I had a hard time picking out tile with the dull light.

Great store that serves the community well. Usually pretty much stocked. Staffing is pretty helpful, especially if you can get one of the more established folks involved in your question. Easy to get in and out of the parking area, lots of room of youre pulling a trailer and there is also a Walmart nearby so practically one stop shopping is possible with the two of them..
Recently bought a beautiful GE Washer. The one I wanted was not in stock and had to be ordered. A delivery day was scheduled at no charge to me. I received an email letting me know the time window for the delivery. When I called to nail down a time, she gave me an approximate time for the delivery. The washer was delivered within minutes of the scheduled time. All staff involved were polite, courteous and professional.
Over an hour to exchange an edger. Staff was awesome, lowes processes are just too complex. Cant just exchange same item for replacement, they refund and repurchase. Horrible process if you bought on sale, and even worse if paid with a gift card.
As long as you arenβt pre ordering custom doors (we had two bad experiences). Everything else we get here is great.
I dont usually go to lowes, and today I was reminded why. All I needed was a toilet. Showed my military ID and asked for the military discount, which they couldnt provide because I have to download an app, then register. It required me to verify through IDme.com which I dont have my password for. I dont understand why my military ID is not good enough, it is for Home depot, which I eill by buying my toilet from instead.
Based on this visit, I give a one star rating. 15 people in line for one register in the garden center. The line didnt move, so I left my basket and walked out. Thats when I saw there was not a cashier at the register. Maybe gone to check a price, but not at the register!! You need to have more people working in the garden center at this time of year.

Has everything you would want hardware/tools/appliances... but the staff is awful!!! They walk by you and if you need something and are standing by something Noone asks if they can help you. On one occasion I asked for help and the young man said he was carrying a rug out for another customer and would be right back... he never came back!!! Went to the manager and he didnt seem concerned either!! Lack of good management equals poor customer service!!!

I usually love Lowes but not today. Parking lot and store were packed. That wasnt the problem. There were no checkers working the inside check out. Just one person monitoring self check. Lines at self check were backed up into aisles. Go back to garden to check out where there were 2 checkers with 5 to 6 waiting in each line. Just before we get to the checker she announced that she was being made to go on lunch break. I understand that but now youre down to one checker for the whole store. Fortunately someone let us in the other line because we had been there longer. If she hadnt I was going to just leave my buggy and go to home depot. Management at this store needs to learn how to schedule staff.

This is by far the worst lowes I have ever used. We bought a freezer that they were supposed to deliver and they marked it that we took it. After almost a yr of waiting we got our money back. We just bought a washer dryer set from them and they gave us the wrong dryer and now Im having to fight to get the right one
Worst visit in years. Employees standing around on cell phones. Tried to get 4 associates to help us, after 35 minutes gave up. Man in another department and cashiers paged several times but no one showed up to help so we took a chance and bought some parts anyway. After a 1 hour drive there and back hope they work! The two cashiers tried to help and saved the day by being so nice and apologetic. Asked for the store manager, said he was off. When the cars away........

Jay, the manager, CAN NOT count. REFUSED to give me the correct discount. He insisted that the price shown was already discounted 50% and only needed an additional 25% to meet the 75% off clearance price. When I tried to correct his error, he laughed. Look at the picture provided and you do the math. He made me wait over 30 minutes to talk to another manager as he laughed and made fun of me with the other workers. Another manager eventually came and gave me the CORRECT discount.This manager, Jay, was very unprofessional, egotistical as he thought he was correct. He had an attitude of being superior. Even when his mistake was corrected by another manager, Jay did not apologize. I absolutely love to shop at Lowes. I avoid 2 other stores to get to Lowes. (Home Base is a 1 minute drive from my house. Lowes is 15 minutes away.. Dont abuse my loyalty.)
Store requires live cashier to honor military discount. Just left store where no live cashiers were on duty so store didnt honor military discount. This is nothing less than false advertising.
The frequency of my visit at Lowes is increasing recently due to a number of innovative projects that Im currently involved in. I find that when working with such projects there are specific things I know I need to accomplish that project. so Lowes generally has something there that will lend toward that end. but what is noteworthy though is the knowledge of individuals who are able to help me FIND what Im looking for... That is probably the most important step in my success with the project.
I returned an unopened airless sprayer with no problem. The customer service associate told me the money would be returned to my debit card which is normally fine. After not seeing funds in bank I called customer service and was told it can take 10-15 business days!That will be 30 days theyve had my money from time of purchase until refund appears.I was not offered an option of cash at time of return but apparently they do offer that but not that day. $29+.00..When I checked my account on the second day the funds were not there so I called customer service and was told it can take 10-15 days f I r a refund!
Beware of Lowes in Temple.Complaint rant: My wifes Moms washing machine died. So, she shopped Lowes for a new one the other day. She had to pay $30 extra for them to haul the old one off, which, I suppose, is not so bad in itself. But, she had to buy new hoses from them in order to get it installed.When the deliverers arrived, they refused to install it before the old one had been pulled out, and completely disconnected. They, one big burley guy, and one smaller, stood there while my wife had to pull the thing out, find pliers and wrenches, and proceeded to unscrew twenty-five year old rusted connections, just to get it ready to haul away and install the new one. Needles to say, Lowes wont be getting any of our business in the future.The least Lowes could have done was inform her of the requirements while she was shopping.

The store is too big. Its hard to find anybody to help. Also, their website often says that they have inventory online, but when I go in person to get it, there is an empty shelf next to the sticker. If Im able to track somebody down that works there, they usually say that the online inventory was likely inaccurate. This is just like it is at HD.
Wish the shelves could be stocked better. 4 out of 5 items needed were not available.

Have been going to Lowes for many years. Temple store is fantastic. I have always gotten everything that I need. Staff is very friendly and helpful, willing to help you find what you need. Only reason for the 4 π is when they are busy, you have to have a little patience and eventually they will get to you.

My Husband couldnt find a certain piece of PVC fitting at the other Home improvement store in town. So we decided to see if Lowes had it. As we looked your employee Nick came by and asked my Husband if he could help. My Husband told him what he was looking for and the two of them looked some more and chated about things. We just about gave up and then Nick walked over and said I think this is what you need and low and behold he found exactly what my Husband needed... We Thanked Nick for the excellent customer service!!

Is it so hard to get help from their associate? Independence day is near by, so my wife and I decided to get a Bar B.Q. grill and choose Lowes. After looking for a while, we decided on a grill, but needed the help of a Lowes employee to get it and pay for it.We noticed 2 employeeshelping a lady, we thought of getting some other things we needed and come back later, maybe by that time theyll be done with the lady; nope, I was wrong, both were still with the lady. So we opted to look for somebody else for help, when all of the sudden over if the guys that were helping the lady walk to were I was. I asked: Hi, can you help me out? His respond: I dont know, maybe.I was surprised by his response. We ended up buying everything from Lowes, but heres my 2 cents.This young man have no heat in working for this company, but I wouldnt fire him, but I sure would fire his trainer or his supervisor, whoever trained him failed miserably. These big companies now a day have simply no interest in giving the customer a good quality service, they would rather avoid the customer than helping them. Same as Blockbuster M.O. and we know how it ended up.

Ordered from this store over a month ago and have gotten no delivery and my order delivery date keeps getting pushed back. I have called the store but either no one will answer or they will answer and hang up. When I went into the store there were only cashiers, no associates to help and when I asked they called for somone for over 20 minutes.They still havent resolved the problem from over a month ago. I have spoken with managers and they will take your info and never get back with you. I will be avoiding lowes from here on out.

Connie who is working in doors/windows was rude to us. We went in there to price a screen door, we had the measurements. She was hell bent on proving my fiance wrong. She over talked him, cut him off, and told him his measurements were wrong when they are not. She tried to tell him a 36 inch door will fit a door that measures 32 inches π€ She tried everything to not only to discourage us from buying the correct door, she argued and tried to be right when shes not. Instead of buying the door, now his son who is a home builder will bring the door to us bought somewhere else. I tried to call management and yep no answer.
This Lowes (and most Lowes Ive been to) is organized and clean and the garden center is always beautiful with a wide variety of product. The garden staff is so very helpful.

My elderly friend purchased two diffrent carpets for her home in eairly February at Temple Lowes, She choose upgrade carpet, it was to be installed in March but pushed back which was fine until April with all the bad weather, to make an extremely long story as short as possible, they delivered both wrong carpet argued it was right, cut it wrong, tried to install it even though they knew better she stopped them, they had to be argued with to get a lower grade in store carpet in the main part of her home because her home was all out of place with tack strip all over the house, but not before she stepped on it & fell broke her wrist, hit her head, it took days before they addressed the issues at all & continued to ignore her safety, this was on April 6-9th & they still have not completed the rest of the carpet, nor have they called back, I have called cooperate multiple times & been told the store recieves the complaintthis is very poor service & has NEVER been addressed by Lowes, they will not get our buisness again

I do appreciate reserving a couple of parking spots for veterans. Nice touch.I have to add to a complaint I read about the garden area staff/cashier(s) leaving people standing in the check-out line to twiddle thumbs while the cashiers check on prices/take a break (who knows). I have seen the same behavior myself on more than one occasion. Bad, bad customer service!
My dad and I went here for a new fridge after our old one went out. The new fridge was reasonably priced, and the man who helped us set up the delivery (Chris P.) was very polite, as well as the cashier (Anna) who actually took the time to tell us about the fridges warranty. Im sure thats something she has to do, but I thought it was nice of her to tell us about it anyway. I cant remember the names of the men who delivered the fridge to us a few days later, but they were extremely friendly, kind, and got it set up with no problems.
I dont know what department Chuck works in but he was awesome. I asked where something was located and he didnt just tell me where it was, he took the time to search for it, find it and get help to get it loaded and to the register.
Great store great wisdom in some employees and amazing customer service. Its getting a little crowded most days though. Just proves my point I guess.

Lowes has always been our go to store for major purchases for our home; however, since moving to Temple this clearly isnt the best choice. I have never experienced such bad customer service from a Lowes!We purchased a washer and dryer a month ago. Our delivery date was supposed to to be on the 13th for our dryer; I get a call on the 12th the dryer is still not in. Today is now the 17th and the representative tells us the dryer is now discontinued. Now we are having to jump through hoops to return a washer past 30 days (As we arent spending that much money to have mismatched washer and dryer). Were told to come in for refund, and they will refund and schedule a pick- up for the washer. Arrived and was told a refund cant be processed because all of the managers were in a meeting, and a pick-up of the washer has to be completed before I can receive a refund. Totally understandable, and this would have been fine if the manager would have mentioned this prior to me wasting my time driving to the store. We could have set up a pick-up date while on the phone.We also purchased a lawn mower. The military discount wasnt applied, and the customer service representaive said they dont do military discount on items that are already discounted (False. As we purchased our washer and dryer on sale, and received military discount). So we went on Lowes.com and purchased the same lawn mower for $60 less as we got a military discount and picked it up at the exact same Lowes. Then the manager wanted to act like its ONLY $60.Worst customer service we have ever experienced.
Although it was raining and everything we found what we were looking for I found a rose bush and we got a new upright freezer that we need it the gentleman that waited on us was very kind and helpful

Not a good visit the power chair ran out of juice I was stuck in the back of the store a couple of associate that work there asking me if I needed help they shouldnt have asked me it should have been one of the managers, the regular employees gave good customer service and managers need to remember how they start working oh, maybe they need a refresher course on how to be a regular associate

I am deeply disappointed to say customer service is subpar at best. I ordered 18 boxes of flooring via curbside pickup. I received phone call confirmation of my special order, however when I arrived and checked in I waited for about 40 minutes. After waiting for so long I called the store (which the phone line takes you in circles to get to the right department) and I finally was able to speak to someone who told me I needed to come to the loading dock in the back, so I did as I was told only to be met by an angry employee who told me I wasnβt allowed back there. Once I finally was directed to another side of the dock, no employees were there to help me load. Thatβs all fine and dandy but the day I placed my special order (over a month in advance) I had another set scheduled to come in the day before I was having everything installed with confirmation that everything would arrive on time and assurance from the Loweβs team. Day of pickup comes around and the product has neither arrived nor did any of the team of the team members give me any straight answers about this order or any help to figure out if I could get something else quick to help me out since I had already ripped up carpet and hired a team to install for me the next day. I can say with confidence that I can not trust them and will be taking my business to Home Depot going forward. I would never recommend this store to anyone I know, ESPECIALLY THE FLOORING DEPARTMENT.

I went in to buy an over the stove microwave. No one around I pushed the button for assistance. No response. Finally an employee came but she said she didnt work in that area and that they was probably on break. She pushed the button again. So I waited. Another customer came and asked if I worked there. I told him I was waiting for help. He pushed the button again. Finally two men came out from the back. My question is why are employees allowed to take breaks together while customers have to wait. Should not be allowed to break at the same time!
I couldnt get my military discount that Lowes generally offers. They told me the item I purchased was already on sale so I couldnt get another discount on top of that. Ive never encountered this before at Lowes. Ive always received a military discount regardless. May have to rethink my Lowes loyalty over Home Depot.

Actually they deserve a zero; which is what they did for me. I have never had such poor service in the flooring dept. in this store in my entire life. First and foremost the flooring dept. would not answer their phone....ever! I had a call transferd 3 times and they were paged three times each for two days. There was a note put on their desk for a sale of $2300.00! They never called me. Then the lumber dept answered their phone and gave my phone number the flooring dept. manager and he NEVER did call me. I waited all day! To add further injury to that. I called the Killeen Store and the did not have all the flooring I needed and they spent the day calling the Temple store and again the Temple flooring dept. would NOT answer their phone.I CAUTION YOU...NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THE FLOORING DEPT. IN THE TEMPLE TX STORE!!! THEY ARE UNCARING ABOUT THEIR JOBS AND SHOULD BE FIRED. ALL OF THEM. THEY LOST A $2300.00 DOLLAR SALE FOR 900 SQ. FT. OF FLOORING AND ALL THE MATERIALS THAT GOES WITH THAT ORDER.SHAME ON YOU!!! THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO NEED YOUR JOBS!

What does one say about a huge box building filled with stuff for your home? They either got it or they dont. Two problems, finding what you seek without requiring a long walk and then checking-out. Both can be tiresome. Both should be unnecessary.

I had placed an order for a refrigerator two days ago that was supposed to be delivered today. I confirmed the deliver last night only to get a call and an email with them canceling the order; because they said they thought they had it but found out this morning they didnt when they went to get it to load it on the truck. So apparently they dont check their inventory until the morning they have to deliver it and the only thing I got was basically an oops we are sorry. So now Im out of a refrigerator and need to but another one.
Loweβs is generally a pain. There isnβt enough staff working to help. Product is limited on the floor and good luck getting any help. I left the store opting to call in for questions. Once someone finally answered the phone I was given mis information. I placed my order online instead of in store but that wasnβt any better either as my delivery never showed up. I called corporate and they rearranged my delivery to another day that was completely inconvenient for me. Well, if this next delivery goes awry I will cancel and go to Home Depot.Edit: Maybe coincidence, but after I posted this review I was contacted by Temple Lowes to schedule an early delivery. So, I am bumping up the review one star. Thank You lowes.
Always find what I need and then some. Most workers are nice and helful. And sometimes they have some nice sales.
Now they need more employees or more people to know what theyre doing because you can push that button for the intercom and nobodys going to come.
I like this Lowes. They dont enforce illegal mask mandates like some liberal towns do. I ONLY spend my money at places they dont discriminate against people with mask exemptions like some liberal stores. So Ill keep shopping here

I was struggling to load sheetrock on a cart and young men employees just walked by me never even offering to help. Another customer, an older gentleman started helping me and then finally a young male employee started helping him. I needed 10 sheets of sheetrock and my daughter overheard employees complaining about customers buying 10 sheets of sheetrock at a time. Coincidence maybe? Next time I will take my business to home depot.
Aisles are loaded with extraneous merchandise. Could not find a kitchen sink sprayer unit and they only had one faucet and sprayer unit. If you need to use an electronic riding cart to get around in, it is impossible. In addition few of your clerks are familiar with your inventory. Finding a store employee to render assistance is not easily done either. In general, a long, trying experience. Different experience in Temple, TX.

Not satisfied I returned 60 pvc pipes and I even had to restock them in same location after I got refunded, but when I put the package back to the location I noticed there was still a piece of teflon tape in the floor, it was still there in same spot, so I noticed many locations not even stocked, well that just tells me the place not organized, even purchased couplings, but I had to get them from the bulk containers, why cuase the dont have the product in stock, so an employee there comes up to me and says, that that was not cool what I did π, yea if they had the product stocked I would not of got it from those bulk packages, any when I pay they take like 15 minutes to locate the bar codes for the items I got cause the could not find one item to get that bar code, well yea, will I go there again no unless lowes calls me to apologize which isnt happening, Sorry but Ill just head to Home Depot,
