The people are very nice and the equipment - chairs, tools, waxing was very new and updated. I enjoyed my time there and they always do an amazing job.

Ive been going here for about a year. The service is great. Everyone there from the nail techs to the pedicurist doing excellent job. Ive had all three of the nail techs and all three are good. Prices are very fair would recommend this place to anyone and I am very particular about my nails and feet.

Ive been going to Nail time & Wax for about year. Great friendly staff. Frank my nail teach, I get dip powder cost for it is decent $40.00. Frank does an amazing job! Derrick is the go to for eyebrows $10.00. During this pandemic they are keeping the salon sanitized as customers come and go. I would highly recommend this nail salon.

Nail ladies are amazing I love them they always do a good job and have good recommendations BUT sorry to say there is a guy there that filed some a lil crooked and different lengths this has never ever happened to me anywhere.... he didn’t seem knowledgeable about things or cared about my nails just rushed :(

Love this place. I have now been here three times for gel nails and pedicure. My first pedicure lasted for over a month and my nails are always beautiful! I did have one incident when a nail was crooked, but they were quick to fix it. I also has my eyebrows waxed and loved that they didnt thin them out but gave them a beautiful shape. Will continue to go back!

It only costs $10 to get your acrylics removed and there was no wait when I got there, and there was parking spaces directly out front. The owners are so nice too!

This is my second time here (currently sitting in the chair haha!), and it’s my new favorite spot. I got a regular pedicure the first time and it was good, but this time I got the regular pedicure and added callus remover. The nail tech I had was incredible! In the middle of the painting, she asked me if i liked the color. The color in the bottle was not what was on my toes, so she let me pick a new color and she started over. It was so thoughtful and considerate. I have been trying to find my new favorite nail salon since moving to the area 4 years ago, and I’m happy to say I have found it!

This rating goes specifically for Kim the eyebrow lady. I understand the place has gone under new management recently so she is no longer there. However I have gone to Kim for the past 8 years, and she has done a wonderful job each time. If anyone has any info on where she went, it would be greatly appreciated!

Eden, Frank, and Derrick are amazing. I love how the place is now than before. It’s so clean and everyone is so friendly I can’t imagine myself going anywhere else. My nails last way longer here than anywhere else I’ve been too they do an amazing job.

4 stars because my brows (the only reason I go to a salon) always come out incredible!! I drive from central Phoenix to Tempe every time I need my brows done. The lady who does them for me is always kind, polite and fast. She does exceptional work!But the rest of the staff is barbaric, often shouting at or insulting me. If not for her I would never visit this business again.You have a great location and often theres a line to be seen by a stylist. I can only assume Nail Time & Wax does very well.Still, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE work on your customer service. It goes a long way. Thank you.

I was saddened when this Team left Iowa and moved to Tempe. I had my nails done by Derick, Eden, Frank and the Team for over 4 years. They (Derick was my guy) do an amazing job. I wore acrylics 100% of the time, never never had issues with my own nails and was thrilled with the way my hands looked. You all are lucky to have this group out there. Run, dont walk to their Salon for your nails. You will be so happy you did!!

Derrek is amazing on nails and designs never had the same design twice unless i requested it. He does a great job on eyebrows also they look great. He loves what he does and is really great at it.

Place is great have gone for 5 years now always go for any special occasion and I will even go out of my way to see them. They always take care of me. I work very hard and can tell them about my day. They make me feel like a queen.

Having gone to Nail Time & Wax for the past 15 years,,acrylic nails & pedicures by the same person (owner), for all that time. I was very apprehensive when she sold the shop to a couple in Iowa. Not only am I extremely happy with the new management, they have done a fabulous job with my mains and pedis: They have remodeled beautifully and I feel very welcomed eVery time I go there. They are very good, very fast, very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone and wish them success in their new venture in AZ.

Subpar service. The guy doing my nails had no care at all and cut up my cuticles. He also left me hanging a couple of times and now a week after I got my sns powder done my nails have already chipped. Would not recommend.

Seriously don’t waste your time or your money. Their unsanitary and the guy who did my nails was super rude. Kept telling me what I should do with my nails, used the little fan to dry them, applied the 2nd coat of nail polish before the 1st was done drying and then told me I could go even though my nails weren’t dry whatsoever. I even told him they weren’t done yet But he kept insisting they were.As soon as I went to go pay the polish smudged. My nails look worse coming out then going in. Didn’t think that was possible. Seriously, there’s better places. Like any place.

Just got a manicure and pedicure here and am so upset by the quality and service. I watched the nail technician pour acetone into my nail polish then put it on my nails (I know this can be normal sometimes but knew something was wrong when my nails wouldn’t dry). After staying there an hour and a half waiting for my nails to dry I left and then two hours later they were still wet and smudged when touched. I’ve never experienced this before. I went back to explain what happened and the guy at the counter was extremely rude and said it was normal for polish to take over three hours to dry. He also refused to give me a refund or gift card for further service. I used to come here all the time and loved the place but now will NEVER go back.

If I could give 0 stars I would for thos place. Worst service ever! I asked for a full set gel colored tips and they did not use gel! The manager was the first person to do my nails and he messed up bad. The lines were super uneven and like i said he used regular crapy nail polish not gel! I asked to have them fixed and another staff member tried to fix them bit her hair kept getting in the polish and left lines! My boyfriend and infant son were waiting and after 2 hours they looked good at first. After the polish was dry i reached into my jacket pocket and the zipper chipped off polish. Two days later there are bubbles all through the polish and chips all over! I am going back and asking for a refund.

First time going was pretty good. Michelle did a good job on my acrylic nails. She told me to come back for a fill and she will add gel nail polish for $22 dollars total. I come back a couple weeks later and Michelle is busy so I take another lady. Her name was not present at her station. I could not ask because from the moment I sat in her chair up in till i was checkin out she was on her cellphone talking to someone. At first, I was like okay maybe its important. But the only time she spoke to me was to say sorry was when she kept hurting me. She burned me with the drill because she was not paying attention. She burned me with her little lamp that each station has because she again was not paying attention. She moved my hand up to adjust her head phones so she can continue talking and my hand touched the light bulb burning me. My friend was with me and was pissed she was doing all this to me while being on the phone. I will never go back to this nail salon because of this experience. Lastly, my total for a fill and gel without the tip(which she did not get) was $28.

My mother and I always come here to get out eyebrows done, the woman who does them is amazing and never makes them too thin or messes them up at all. We return specifically for her. However, we will never get out nails done here. Every time Ive gotten acrylics here they are crooked and dont last long.

First time at this place and went in for a pedicure, I have never had a pedicure that hurt as bad as that one. The lady dug in to hard, I was cringing and moving around. Then she cut the nails way shorter than I asked, she cut them so short they hurt. Wont be going back.

Tuesday, November 7, 2017, I went to nail time and wax to get a pedicure, the pedicure I chose should have cost 25.00, I handed the tech 40.00 In the form of two twenties. Now I sit and wait for my change only to discover that they were trying to steal my money. The nail tech told me I only handed her a twenty and a five which was a bold face lie. I set there for about half an hour arguing with the manager, nail tech, etc about giving me my change. I decided to call the police on the matter because they were trying desperately to steal my money, the police said it was a civil matter and would not come to the establishment. After 20 minutes, one of the nail techs decided to go to the back and check the camera, he stated that the bills were to small on the camera and he couldnt see it. Again, I wait, I decided to ask the mail nail tech when would they give me my money, he yelled at me and said WAIT! I will never visit this place again and suggest that anyone who does should watch carefully because they will steal from you. Its best to pay with credit card or not go there at all. Also, beware of those who boldly speak there language so others cant understand.

Derrick is AMAZING!! Wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my nails and he always blows me away with his work. Everything he does surpasses my expectations EVERY TIME!

Went for mani and pedi and the girl doing it was pretty rough, made me bleed from my toe since she cut too much of the cuticle. The color is already starting to chip after one day, go figure. The massage was good though.

Horrible horrible customer service! On my last experience here about a month ago they had made a mistake on the color that I had chose halfway through I asked him to change it but they were already halfway through so I decided to leave it alone I came back 3 weeks 2 weeks later to get my nails in my feet redone I asked to change my nail and Color to getting the French tip manachar while they started speaking their language and rolling their eyes from the owner to the employees. Ever since they changed ownership in Kim is no longer the Owner this place is change completely. I can assure you Im not the only customer who agrees with the horrible customer service that they have. Also Im not the type of person to give a negative review unless its really Baddddd.

I waited about 15min for a fill, cut and color change to be seated then I asked the nail tech woman for yellow ombré she said they dont have that color then I asked for gold foil and she said they sont have that either. So I went with basic pink with sparkles on top with stiletto shape gel. During when she was about 1/4 of the way through my fill she had a regular come in and she started to rush through my fill. And when she did she sawed through my real nail with one of her electrical tool and I pulled my hand pain in pain and she kept going and proceed to hit that spot a couple times each time it hurt but she kept going and when I was done I didn’t see but my nail is bruised and bloody under the acrylic. I feel she rushed through my fill and hurt my finger I would never get a fill from her again there is a man that works there that is really good but I would never let the woman work on my nails again. My nail is very tender and painful hurts to have water running on it.

I came here to get my nails done for my birthday gel pedi and gel full set three of my nails came off in less than a week. I didnt have time to go back to the same location due to being out of town for my birthday and had to get repairs at a different salon. I was continuing to have my nails come off and went back to the location to show how my nails came off in less than one week the guy that did my nails started immediately talking bad about the nails that were repaired which looked absolutely great and If it was done right the first time it would have had to be re done. He then told me that I would have to wait 1 hour to have my nail repaired as I watched other customer walk in who go help immediately. The manger finally stepped in and had a different tech do my nails and one of my nails that was hanging off about to pop off she glued back on and fixed one of them. Not to mention my nails were not even glued on straight. Such a waist of $80. I will never go back to this place and would not recommend my worst enemy to go here.

The only great customer services that i received as well as excellent nail work services have come from a lady who previously worked there named Julie. Other than that the owners wife and another lady who works there are very rude and dont bother to hide it.

Great service but dont go if your services will go into closing time. I was there 1.5hrs before closing for a pedicure and manicure and my technicians wife took over painting my fingernails white tipped so he could do his part closing. She messed up my nails; painted them too soon so the white mixed with clear and streaked. Basically rushed me out; bad experience for first time.
