They seemed nice enough, but it turns out they either didnt know about violins or werent honest. We wanted an intermediate violin and they ended up selling us a beginners violin that they said was intermediate. The price we paid for a used instrument was almost as much as some of that brand sells new. Now that we have learned more it turns out we could have bought a similar violin for about half what we paid. Make sure you already know your instruments and prices before you walk through the door.

Super helpful! They repaired my sons French horn. Repair was done beautifully and in a timely manner. They have a customer for life!!!

Big thanks to Michael at Petes Music. I brought my old 79 Ibanez that hadnt been played in 20 or so years in to the store and they fixed it right up. The service and customer service is awesome. They kept me up to date every step of the way and came in far less than the estimate and it sounds great. I recommend these guys over the big store any day of the week. Highly recommend! I have been going to this music store for years, and I will continue giving them my business because they are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Trevor was awesome today tuning my banjo for me, and Stefan was wonderful trying to help us figure out what was wrong with my son’s keyboard. They took a lot of time to help us, and I took even more of their time asking questions about instrument rentals for my son. I highly recommend this store because of the personalized service they offer their customers!

Excellent music store. A little bit of everything. If Pete doesnt have it, he will get it promptly. The people there are very knowledgeable about their products and equipment they have on consignment. And Pete is honest. I wanted to by a higher priced instrument he had. He said try this one, it is less expensive but it sounded better and I bought it. I buy all my stuff at Petes Music.

I went to pete’s Music, looking for a guitar. When I came in, I was greeted by very nice people, right off from the start. They answered all my questions, and were very helpful in learning new things about the guitar. When I found the one I wanted, the were very helpful on the price, and other things that I needed. Overall, it was the best and most helpful music store that I have ever been to.

These guys are the best! I have never played the violin before, and not only did they tune it for me but, they helped file down my bridge and set me up so that I have good equipment! When it comes to a good old music store I have to recommend petes.

If youre like me and prefer to support the local mom & pop shops then Petes the daddy you never knew you had! When my neighbors moved, they gave me the Leolani uke they got on their honeymoon in HI. It had been in their garage a couple years and was missing a string and tuning gear, but I learned to play and love this three-stringed beauty. I took it to Pete for an overhaul and he had the gear(s) and strings in-house and in a few hours he had it hummin like new. Pete is a real professional business-man and quite the musician as well. He gave me great service at an excellent price and all with a smile on his face. As the other reviewer stated he also answered all MY stupid questions. He offers lessons and has an amazing collection of tunes from some of the greatest artists ever to grace our ears. I WILL GO NO OTHER PLACE! Check it out, I believe youll agree. Thanks Pete!!!
