The movers from WM Movers were amazing. Top notch professionals who arrived early, surveyed all that had to be moved and began work right away. They were respectful and careful with all furniture and belongings, packed/unpacked everything safely and disassembled/assembled everything perfectly. In addition, the guys were courteous, friendly and good-natured. All this for a very reasonable price. Would definitely use them again!

WM Movers was AMAZING. I got a very reasonable flat fee and there were no hidden charges. From my first phone query they were reassuring and efficient.The team of four arrived exactly on time, got to work and didnt stop until the whole thing was done.They were respectful and careful w our things and boy did they work hard! I mean for example one person carried a recliner on his back up three flights of stairs.Overall, this wasnt a large move but it was a tough one, with two stops and furniture going to a walkup apartment.I had been very worried because a lot of the things had enormous sentimental value for me (my mother had just died). The WM team wrapped everything carefully and handled everything carefully. Everything arrived in perfect condition.WM Movers was truly superb. I highly recommend.

WM Mover did a great job moving my wife Manhattan-based office to our home in Sleepy Hollow last summer. The men who did the job were careful with her furniture and fragile items throughout the move. They were personable, efficient and professional in every way. If I needed to do a similar or a larger move, I would call them again and would recommend them to any family or friends who were interested in hiring a moving company. I shopped this work around, and their quote, to which they held firm, was competitive.

I used WM Movers for a small move of (heavy) furniture and they were excellent. I then referred them to a family member for a move of her houseful of items and she also had a great experience with them. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them. My husband and I, found the company at the last minute, needing to move by April 1, 2021. From the first phone call they accommodated our needs and worked with us at the last minute. Everything was done fabulous, from quote, to moving day and to completion to our new address. The entire staff are lovely and professional. They moved us 2 miles in Greenwich. The move went exactly as planned, and they left us with no boxes at the end of the process (make sure you ask for this). The price was reasonable (relative to others) and we had no complaints. I have given their number to some friends who have had similar experiences.

Wilgen and his crew did an amazing job with my move. They were very responsive during the scheduling process including providing all the documentation required by the condo administration. The loading and unloading of the furniture was done very professionally and no damage to the furniture or the newly painted apartment occurred. I will definitively recommend them.

Moved from New York to Florida. All my items arrived and nothing broken or damaged. They showed up when they promised and delivered as promised. I would never use any other moving company other than WM. They are reliable and honest. No bs and they arrive and deliver as promised and are careful with your belongings. Many moving companies are unreliable and make an already stressful experience worse! Not WM. You will be happy and stress free!

I was holding off on this review as I’d hope the owner Wiley would do the right thing, but that was not the case. This will be a lengthy review, but I feel it is necessary. Let me start by saying the initial experience was ok, but then everything went down hill. We were scheduled to have our items sent to our destination on 6/29, but were called by Wiley to “do him a favor” and have our items picked up on 6/23. That was a massive challenge as now we needed to sleep on the floor since our items were being shipped, but were promised an earlier delivery so we obliged. The time the movers were scheduled to come to the pickup location, they never showed up and we then needed to call and find out where they were. We were informed the truck had broken down but the movers were on the way. It was an inconvenience as we’d been waiting already for almost 3 hours and were never called. We were originally quoted for 75 items at the price of $3575.58 to only find out in the end we had 1 extra item that brought our price all the way up to $3800 which was ridiculous, a $224.42 increase for one additional item, but since our items were already on the truck we had no say in the matter. We were informed our items would be driven down with the truck going to South Carolina and once it reached our destination would be in “climate controlled facility.” Delivery day came 7/3 and not only were the movers late but the integrity of some of our items were ruined. The movers attempted to park their truck in our driveway but had a hanging metal that dragged and we informed them not to back up the truck. They did nonetheless and ended up scratching our driveway. A table arrived broken to which we were asked by Year(pardon as I do not know the correct spelling) how much we wanted and when we gave him a price he low balled us and said he could only give us $60. Many of our boxes that were clearly marked fragile arrived bent and twisted. As time went on we began the labor intensive process of unpacking each of our 53 boxes and realized our items did not receive the “love and tlc” we were promised. We contacted Wiley and let him know we’ve only gone through a few of the boxes and some of our items were damaged. He simply responded by saying he would mail us a check for $150. My greatest shock was finding both of my laser printers, one color and one black and white broken! Not only was the box labeled “fragile” but also “this side up.” Our instructions were clearly disregarded as the box showed evidence of being thrown and jostled. When we brought this to the attention of Wiley, he simply stated that we had packed it so there was nothing he could do. So that means that anything we pack would be abused and disregarded? It looks as though that was the case with our boxes. He again stated that he would send $150(this is still the original amount he was to have sent the week prior), which was ridiculous because the week prior, he told us he had already sent the check, which to be clear was never sent. I emailed Wiley back and asked him to give us a fair amount for the damage that we have incurred. To date (7/26/2020) he has not responded and we refuse to remain silent on this unacceptable customer service. I attached a few of the photos. Also keep in mind we have still yet to open all of the boxes.

We have moved several times and our experience with WM Movers was by far the best. They took great care wrapping and loading our furniture and all our belongings. We have recommended them to friends, all were very pleased with their moves. Highly recommend.

We moved from Florida to Queens, NY during a stressful moment in our lives and the pandemic. We are so happy that we encountered Yair at WM Movers! There are many unreliable moving companies out there that are very unprofessional and dishonest. WM Movers were very professional, courteous and really made our move almost stress free. Our stuff were picked up by 4 guys and they were very careful and organized. The delivery arrival was as promised with no damages to furnitures. We are really happy and relieved of our experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future for our moving needs. They quote you one price but charge extra. The minimum charge was 5 hours @ $175.00 per hour. My move only took 4 hours, but they charged an extra $180.00. It only took 10 minutes to go from one place to the next. But charged 1 hour.

Ive twice used WM Movers for major moves. Each time they demonstrated professionalism and courtesy that went above and beyond what I expected. The guys are as nice as they are strong and efficient. Moreover, WM has stored furniture for me which also went flawlessly. Finally, I had WM separately take an outdoor set of furniture from my home in Sleepy Hollow to my daughters in Larchmont. It could not have gone more smoothly. Bravo WM!!

Willie and his team were fantastic. Moving is so stressful and Willie helped guide us with suggestions to be more efficient, was flexible around our moving date adjusting with house closings and was priced extremely competitively! I would definitely use them again.

The gentlemen who came and packed were efficient and took excellent care in packing. Not one thing was broken, even very fragile antique crystal glassware. When they came back the next day to move us they were efficient and took care with our furniture and belongings. On the way to our new residence their truck had mechanical trouble and as a result the men had to work far later than they would have. But they still moved us in with care for our belongings and put boxes in the rooms as marked. To say these guys were fabulous doesnt do them justice. We were so very impressed, so very grateful, and so very pleased with our experience at such a stressful time. We will gladly recommend WM Movers.

I can not express enough how well these movers performed. We had two guys and a truck. They were extremely professional and worked their butts off to make sure our stuff was taken care of and that it got to where it needed to go (Ahead of schedule as well!). When I learned I had to help get everything in our Naples, FL house ready to move I wasnt excited. Nothing is more annoying than moving a household of stuff!! They cataloged everything, securely wrapped and loaded everything, and communicated clearly with us. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Willies movers. The crew that came to load our truck DAMAGED our furniture while disassembling it. They did not tell us at the time, and we discovered it when we unpacked at our new house.When they were disassembling our bed and kitchen table, instead of storing the screws by taping them to the underside of the wood (as every mover I have ever used has done) they DRILLED the screws back into the wood and drilled all the way through to the other side (pictures below).Our solid wood kitchen table has a chunk of wood cracked from the top, and two other raised sections where the screws they drilled in almost came all the way through. Our bed is similarly damaged.Willie did not care, apologize, or take responsibility for this damage. He said that because his crew did not technically move us and, only loaded the truck, that they werent responsible. Even though the damage came while they were IN OUR HOUSE, taking the bed and table apart.My husband is a small business owner, and we were not happy with Willies customer service. We asked him for $200 to cover the cost of repairs (we paid his crew $1,000 to load our truck!), but he wouldnt compensate us because then he wouldnt make a profit on the job. Outrageous. Yes, that is what happens when you send incompetent labor, you lose the profit on the job.Very frustrating situation. Cannot recommend this business.

Great people, fast work

This was a move from the city to Rockland County . We used their storage for few weeks . Movers were on time and very professional . Nothing got damaged and it was wrapped up beautifully . Customer service was outstanding, woman on the phone was great . The only small dispute was over the number of hours as the estimate went over by 3-5 hours but was able to reach a quick compromise with the owner . So def recommend their services but maybe doing flat rate is better instead of hourly rate

Awesome staff. Came on time with 8 people. Packed whole house within 2 hrs. Dropped to NJ. Dissemble and assemble all my beds.All in all, awesome staff and reasonable rates.

I will start off by saying that Wilgen who was super nice, walked me through every step of the way starting from the initial estimate when he game me an in home estimate. The guys packed and wrapped all of my glass items & pictures they are really smooth and careful. I was very impressed plus nothing was damaged! Incredible guys thanks again for everything.

I called WM Movers when I began planning my move to Florida in April 2014. Willie came immediately to estimate the cost, but also helped in planning the stages of my move. His moving crews came twice to my house in New York, first to help me clear the home so I could stage it for showing and a few months later after my house was sold. Both times his men were professional and hard working. All of my belongings were stored at their warehouse until I was able to close on my house in Florida. I then scheduled the final move with Willie. Two weeks later, all my earthly possessions arrived. Once again the crew worked hard (on a 90 degree day!) They were patient with me as I arranged furniture, and careful as well. I have finally unpacked most of my boxes, and havent found anything damaged. I highly recommend this company.

I am very disappointed with the office staff. They quoted me one time and arrived almost 6 hours late. When I called the office after one hour of waiting, one man Willie told me the paperwork said a different time. I wasnt happy about that time but I waited. The hour he had to me rolled around and still no movers. I called 4-5 times and no one answered. I blocked my number and Willie finally answered. Again he told me the movers would arrive within 15 minutes. Another hour passes so I called and no on answered again so I left a message saying I wanted to cancel my service with them. 5 minutes later the movers arrived. Since they arrived so late and my buildings bylaws does not allow moving after 4:00pm they sent double the men to do the work. I do have to say the men were very efficient and friendly. They were able to pack up my apartment and unpack at my new apartment within 2.5 hours. But before the men finished unpacking Willie calls me and tells me I owe the for an 8 hour job because he had to send so many men! Needless to say I was very upset as it was not my fault they did not send the men early enough. We finally agreed on paying for a 6 hour job which I feel it would have take. With the original 3 men I was quoted. I will not work with this company every again! The office staff does not know what they are doing and tried taking advantage of me because I am a female. Do yourself a favor and go with someone more organized and honest.

Long story short, we contacted this company about a moving estimate. A representative from the company came out to count our stuff, and gave us an estimate of $3700. We decided to do business with them contingent upon this estimate.On the day of the move, once they were in possession of our items, we were informed that there could be a potential increase in the fee. We were never told an amount, and 5 hours later, they raised the price to $5700 dollars!On the day of move in, while in possession of our items still, the driver demanded $5700 in CASH or else we couldn’t get our stuff. When I called the owner, he said “it wasn’t a lot more.” This is after he admitted fault in his initial estimate on the phone.In fear of damage to our possessions, and then taking our stuff back, we agreed to a lessened number, and the original amount was paid in cash, and the difference on a credit card.All in all, this was a sheisty, sleazy move by them, and we will be fighting the additional amount. ALL BEWARE!! Don’t do business with Willy!

I was very fortunate to find WM Movers (just through a basic google search). My original moving company became unresponsive and couldnt get a certificate of insurance for me. With one week before the scheduled move, the original movers just stopped answering the phone or taking emails. I called Willy, who was so friendly and accommodating. Other companies were busy with only a weeks notice, but Willy still had one team available. He didnt take advantage of me knowing I needed movers on short notice, and quoted me the same price as my original estimate. The team of four came early, and were SUPER fast and efficient and very friendly. I was blown away by their service and so grateful. Would recommend them to anyone needing to move in Westchester.

Top service with excellent movers!! I was recommended by my sister in law so I decided to call them and Wilgen had came to give me an in home estimate. He offered me packing but we ended up deciding to do the packing ourselves. On the day of the move it was snowing so much I was worried but the movers still came on time. They disassembled and reassembled my bed and IKEA bookcases. The team was very clean, efficient, friendly and helpful. We won’t be moving again anytime soon but when we do in the future I will definitely reach out to them again!
