Beautiful venue for any event. Food and service outstanding

On May 16th I attended my nieces (Bruno & Barnes) wedding at your venue. I heard it was the first wedding since March 2020 due to the pandemic. I have to say that from the ceremony through the reception the staff handled everything with such professionalism. They followed all the guidelines and made all the guests very comfortable. They were conscientious and courteous to each table. With all the rules and regulations that had to be followed, Im sure this was very hard for the management and staff to put together this wedding to make sure that it was everything that my niece and her husband could ever dream of. And it was just that. The venue was beautiful inside and out and the food and the service was top notch. Thank you for making my niece and her husbands wedding a dream come true.

I have used their catering services for client event productions for years and when it came time for my own wedding, Tappan Hill Mansion checked all of the boxes.From the very first site visit through to the end, the entire team was of the utmost professionalism and care. They are available to you throughout the entire process and go above and beyond in absolutely every way. They do not miss a BEAT!Our guests are still talking about the night, the service, the food!, weeks later. We truly could not imagine having our big day anywhere else and consider ourselves so very lucky to have been able to work with the AK team.

We had an excellent experience planning our wedding here. The estate is gorgeous, and the people we worked with were polite, professional, and helpful throughout. We looked at 25+ wedding venues in the NYC and surrounding area and in terms of customer service in particular, Tappan Hill Mansion was leagues ahead of any other option we saw in its price range. Sadly, we cancelled our wedding due to the pandemic; we greatly appreciated how understanding and professional the Tappan Hill Mansion team was as we unwound the wedding plans.

This venue is amazing, Ill be lucky to attend another event here... 5 GOLD STARS!

Attended a wedding and reception at this venue. There is a breathtaking view of the Hudson river outside and enough room for a wedding with at least 200 guests. The staff was very professional and courteous. Separate rooms and areas make for a good separation or activities like waiting area, cocktail hour, and dining/ dancing.

What a beautiful wedding we had in October. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS PERFECT.I have personally planned many events for fundraisers, so I appreciate well-organized, helpful venues with great food. This venue checked all my boxes. This is the first time that I have had to do nothing but show up and enjoy. This was in part due to Paul, our event manager, who was extremely organized and responsive to any concern or request before our wedding. With years of experience, he really knows his weddings and what a charming man to boot. He made us feel that our wedding was special. But more importantly, he was there for us every step of the way during the event where everything went according to plan, absolutely stress free . Thank you, Paul, for making it so easy for us.Several months later, my family is still talking about it, especially the food and the gorgeous location. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue for my daughter’s wedding! Thank you Paul and Tappan Hill for a truly spectacular event.

Noisy delivery truck. Sub standard cooling unit on the roof disturbs every neighborhood in town at all hours of the morning and day. Company perhaps has no regard or understanding for the society they serve.

What a gorgeous place for a wedding! The space was beautiful, overlooking the water and the sunset. The food was incredible too. So lovely!

Its a nice venue with a great view for weddings. The cocktail hour food was amazing. The dinner was sub par. The ravioli tasted funny and the steak was overcooked. The salad was eh. And I just feel like they over packed the room. The tables were very crowded and trying to talk to other people at other tables i was always getting asked to move by the wait staff. For a small wedding this place would be great for a wedding with more than 125 people i wouldnt book here.

Great place for wedding

We had our daughters wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion last Saturday night. I cant rave enough about the magnificent affair it was! My guests have told us that the food was by far the best theyve ever had at a wedding. The service was impeccable. Ed, our banquet manager, didnt miss a beat. He runs Tappan Hill like a well-oiled machine, coordinating each course with the band. With Ed at the helm, we were in the best of hands. Thank you, Tappan Hill Mansion, for making my daughters vision of her dream wedding come true!

An incredible hall with wonderful views of the Hudson. Service is terrific, food is wonderful. The environment is out of this world.

Beautiful venue, we went for the food tasting for our wedding and were blown away with the quality of the food and service Abigail Kirsch provides. The mansion is beautiful and well maintained, we only saw it in the winter but I’m sure summer/fall would look 10X better!

Second wedding Ive been at this venue. Both times when the wedding time up, the staff rushed in crashing the dinner wear into buckets, the bar was broken down with in seconds. A wonderful evening ruined by poor execution at the end. I would really not recommend this venue, esspecially if you have family and friends that like to chat and talk at the end.

This is where I am going to have my wedding. This place is phenomenal.

Beautiful wedding venue in the lower Hudson Valley. Currently an Abigail Kirsch property this mansion was once the home of Mark Twain.

Went to a wedding here and it was beautiful! Looking over the river for the ceremony to their reception hall that looked like we were dancing under the stars, plus the food was amazing!

On a hill overlooking the Hudson, land once owned by Mark Twain. A fine spot for a wedding. Somewhat disappointed that there was no place to walk -- you are pretty much confined to the house and terrace.
