I’ve never in my life experienced issues with my mail delivery until moving to this location in Dec. 2020. I’ve experienced lost mail, return to sender for insufficient postage mail and my least favorite-seriously slow nail delivery (outgoing and incoming). I signed up for informed delivery to keep track of incoming mail and 2 days ago I received my informed delivery email showing 2 important pieces of mail that were going to be delivered- I received 0 of the 6 envelopes, so today I thought I might receive the mail-AGAIN, I received NO mail. What is going on?

Whoever the lady who works up front and wears glasses is completely rude. Zero customer service skills and will give you an attitude if you ask a simple question. For an attitude like that, she should work at a gas station. Take your business else where. The UPS next to the Publix right across the street has wayyyy better customer service and will help you with anything you need.

Staff in Post Office is rude. Man behind counter proceeded to debate me after I questioned the cost of postage to mail a Fathers day card. Charged me $.75 postage per card because he said it was over 1oz. Final weight was 1.1oz! Are you kidding me, its an empty card! Better off buying stamps and putting stamp on it and sticking it in your own mailbox. Never had this issue before and I assure you, it will not happen again as I will never go back to this location.

Theres nothing bad to say about this USPS. By far the best USPS ive been to, and ive been to a lot because of my company. I cant thank the staff here enough for helping me out and always being so friendly. Plus you usually arent waiting in a long line, compared to other Post Offices.

Have been calling for over a week and they never answer the phone. Now came here to speak with someone and have been waiting for 10 minutes with no supervise in sight.... They have been putting other peoples mail in my box and not delivering important checks that I have been waiting on.... Horrible service.

Literally the rudest person Ive encountered in a very long time at the counter. No idea why she was nasty as soon as we walked up to the counter. Also didnt offer us all shipping options, only offered us expensive options. Will go out of my way to another post office to not have to be treated like that again.

I have been on hold for about 55 mins with no answer they close now in 5 mins. I have been tracking my daughters glasses package and I got a notification that it was delivered at 12:38pm when. I got home it was not there. Try calling and spend 20 mins trying to get around the automated system only to be put on hold for an hour and still nothing. This is ridiculous

After living in TS for over a year, I continue to get the wrong mail from various names and addresses. On a weekly sometimes daily basis, I have to write Return to Sender No such name at this address. I get entire piles of mail with the wrong name and/or address. So where is MY mail going!?? I have talked to the mail carrier, left notes in my mailbox, placed large letter decals with the correct name on the box and still the wrong mail. Many times I have had to drop off peoples mail in their box personally that was put in my box. Its impossible to get anyone to answer the phone at the post office no matter when you call. Ive lived all over the US and this is the worst post office Ive ever dealt with. I suggest you get a PO box in a different zip code NOT in Tarpon Springs if you want to receive your mail.

No matter how busy this facility is, the employees are always friendly, professional, & efficient. The line might be long, but they do their best to speed everyone along quickly & with a smile. This is one of my favorite branches. They also have the best selection of commemorative stamps, but they will run out of the popular ones (like Wonder Woman).

Waited an hour and 45 minutes on the phone due to a storm. When no one answered and the rain let up I drove to the post office and no one was in line and the post masters were standing around talking. How hard wpuld it have been to pick up the phone, let me explain I did not get a package that said was delivered and call me back.

I’m tired of paying high costs for overnight or one day delivery and it NEVER makes it on time. The clerk can guarantee it will make it and when it doesn’t they ALWAYS say there’s circumstances that can cause it to be late. There’s only one nice polite person in the Tarpon Springs p.o. and that’s Mr. Par..Everyone else is rude.

Im writing this after the 4th time of not receiving a package that tracking shows as delivered or hold for delivery. Prior complaints have been made about carrier, and did receive an apology last time for package they straight up lost track of. Another time the folks the street over that my package was delivered to were kind enough to bring it to the correct address. This time Im hoping the neighbors will oblige if package isnt lost again as its several hours after they state that it was delivered to me yet wasnt.Im disabled and home bound, and rely on delivery items a great deal. This time it is custom produced items for me that will be very expensive for me to replace. Unfortunately shipper didnt ship with or offer additional insurance.

We had a bumpy start when we first moved in. Granted, our mailbox didnt have a number but we did have the sign by our front door.After having a missing package. I called them to see what happened. Well, the delivery guy, for some reason, delivered to my neighbors mailbox. But he had a picture and everything of the package. I guess this might had happened bc the address was empty for so long.Since then, I have no complains. We get all the main that was sent to our previous address.I go very often to their main location and the clerks are always very polite and helpful. Always ready to answer my questions and to provide assistance with shipping options.

I went to this post office on 10/21/19 and witnessed female teller trying her best to entertain the crowd at a elderly lady spends that could not speak english and that her writing was not legible and she had to go rewrite it in english so that she could read it has she entertained the room i spent about 10 minutes inline and did not hear any other voices in that place besides that teller trying to make a point that everybody heard and looked at her for every single second i was there

I didn’t had any problem giving my package in the postal office... I had to send I very huge package to Greece and everything went well... they help me a lot they got me my tracking number and after one week the package arrived in Greece... excellent service and professional job for me...

The tracking on my Amazon Package said out for delivery. The package never arrived. The notice said attempted but bad address.The address on it was the same as on other packages Ive received from Amazon.And of course I waited all day on a Saturday.So nothing I can do to complain on a Sunday before they ship it back.From now on using FED-EX or UPS

Terrible post office, matter of fact Ive lived in several counties in several states and have never had a problem with any post office EXCEPT this one and over and over as well. Lost packages, delivery attempts that didnt happen, sometimes they pick up my out going mail sometimes they dont bother, one mail man used to chuck packages from half way up my yard at my front door! Try getting them to answer the phone forget about it.

If allowed I would give 0 stars. Ive read other reviews of people losing packages or never receiving (Amazon) packages. I was home and never received package. I ran out to mailbox when my phone notified me it was delivered and mailbox was empty. Please do yourself a favor and get insurance. I learned my lesson. Unacceptable.

Every year we inform the Tarpon Springs P.O, of our temporary change of address IN PERSON and more often than not, none of our mail gets forwarded to our Canadian address. This has cost us in time and money on several occasions and of course, there is no recourse. When one tries to call them they dont answer their phones. Granted that the service is free, but if there is no service, that ends up being more expensive than what a monthly fee would be. In Canada, we pay for the forwarding service but its reliable. Please clean up your act!

The mail carriers at this location are lazy and wont take the time to get out of their vehicle to walk two feet to my mailbox. Instead they withold my mail because I have no choice but to park in the street on my cul-de-sac since my family members use the driveway and have to backout in the morning. Don’t they have to get out anyways to deliver big packages? Its ridiculous how lazy people are.

Unable to track my package since it arrived to my local post office. Finally found out it was labeled with the wrong address. Was able to get someone on the phone once last week to see if I could get any info on where/when I could get my package and was given nothing other than it should be going back to sender and I should see updates shortly. That was a week ago. Now I cant get ahold of anyone at the post office. There have been no updates through USPS package tracking. Looks like I wont be getting that fathers day gift on time anymore.

USPS Tracking states package delivered but I got my mail out the box as soon as carrier made delivery no package in box, that evening I tracked package states delivered but not to me. And now any USPS I attempt to contact its impossible. This is why I prefer UPS or FEDEX myself

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR ITEMS!!!!I have been shipping here only for about a month ( I recently moved up to Tarpon) and I sell items online consistently, Ive shipped about four different smaller items here before with no issue, but decided to try and ship an item worth over $200.Somehow, two days after leaving it with them, they still hadnt scanned it into their office (which had been done the same day on my other shipments at this terrible location) So I went back to the location, attempted to ask them why my item is still in the pre-shipment, only to get a bunch of idiotic responses and agitated attitudes from the associates there. After, they say well go check for your item only to go behind the wall and complain about how they have to deal with me.After about 5 minutes of making me wait, they returned out and lied to me telling me, they cant find it and it has to be at their Tampa location awaiting to be scanned. Here we are, ANOTHER TWO DAYS AFTER WITH IT STILL SITTING IN PRE-SHIPMENT. So Im going to have to take time out tomorrow to go to this god awful place to speak to a manager in hopes of tracking down my package that is sitting somewhere in limbo for 5 days. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION TO AVOID LOSING YOUR ITEMS, THEY HAVE TERRIBLE STAFF, TERRIBLE ATTITUDES AND REFUSE TO ASSIST YOU WITH ANYTHING.

Had a hold placed on my mail while I was moving. With a hold, the post office is *supposed* to hold your mail at that location for up to 30 days while the hold is in place. Instead, I just found out that they have been returning the majority of my mail to the senders!!! They are clearly incompetently staffed and cant even do a simple task like hold someones mail right! Its no wonder their organization is falling apart.

I receive notifications what pieces of mail we are to receive on a daily basis. Our mail carrier on garbage days tends to bypass my home on these dates and not deliver our mail. The garbage can is not in the way.As a paid US Government employee he should not have the right to withhold my mail. This has been an ongoing issue for over a year and complaining to his manager has not accomplished anything.

I moved into a rental home about 2 months ago that this post office services. Since I moved in on October 1st I have not gotten not 1 piece of mail. I have called the post office several times and even went to the post office personally. They told me that there used to be a box in the front of the yard for delivery and that a new box needed to be put up before they would deliver.After speaking with the owner of the home im renting. He stated that THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A BOX IN THE DRIVE WAY. No one on our whole street on both sides has a mail box with a pole. We all have Door slots or door boxes for our mail. The Manager of this post office told me that he believed his carrier and that I had to rent a box from them at $60.00 or buy a new pole and box before they would deliver. WHY THE HELL CANT THEY PUT THE MAIL IN THE DOOR SLOT LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO? The owner of my rental is refusing to put a box up because then his GRAND FATHERED in door box will no longer be used by the post office like it has been since the house was built. The over weight mail carrier who delivers the mail is too lazy to walk up to the door and instead holds the mail in the truck for weeks and then sends it back to the sender marked as undelivered ( when there is a BOX outside my house and my house has the NUMBERS right on it.). I have even called the government in regards to this. NOTHING IS BEING DONE!Ive tried to speak with the mail carrier as well and she stated that she didnt get any mail for me ( WHICH I KNOW IS A BOLD FACE LIE) I have had my electric shut off b/c I NEVER GOT MY BILL! I have also had checks come up missing that was mailed to me.... HORRIBLE POST OFFICE! THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD MONITOR THIS OFFICE FOR COMPLIANCE. If they cant get carriers to do their job correctly, then they need to get NEW CARRIERS! From what I understand messing with someones mail is a FEDERAL OFFENCE punishable but YEARS in jail.. My package from Amazon said out for deliver and nothing about needing a signature. Then says attempted needs signature and no where safe to leave package? Ive recieved packages left before and I have a enclosed porch. Not sure if this is a new driver or what. Very inconvenient because I am not home during delivery hours so now I have to leave work early on a day to pick up. Should be opened past 5, and should say if a package is going to need a signature before delivery attempt.

Bought a home in tarpon springs and still remodeling and not moved in yet......and i got mail for first 2 weeks even tho we havent even forwarded our mail yet. then for over 2 wks my key for comm. p.o. boxes didnt work.....i had to watch for postal worker and finally caught up w/him and he said they changed our box and our key doesnt work.......the us postal worker never notified us they chg. our box w/out notifying us and he said they sent all our mail, mortgage docs etc., back to sender without even notifying us that our key didnt work because they changed our p.o. box.......who does that.....therefore ill be filing complaint with postmaster general......as we went several times to t.sprgs post office and they never once informed us they chg our box w/out notifying us.

Disgusting service no one ever answers the phone .I asked three times to have our postal locker repaired at our condo that has been broke for over 3 years which has USPS right on it.My wife went as far to even talk to the postmaster no one ever addressed the issue.We are paying their salaries and supporting there cost of living expenses and raises with the ridiculous ever rising cost of stamps.
