We all had a great time. Capt. Carlos, Jeremy and Nick were excellent and very friendly and helpful to the kids and adults. They put us on fish and there was lots of action. Lost count on the number of fish caught!

Great fishing trip. Definitely knew all the hot spots, and was super friendly and helpful. Upbeat and fun, great taste in music as well. Not a bad thing to say at all. One small thing to ask, we were a group of 5, but the trip had two first mates, one was in training. We planned on one first mate tip wise, so lesson learned to ask how many per outing. We rounded up some additional cash, but suggest asking since they work on tips only. We caught at least 60 fish. Will definitely book again for a full day.

What an adventure for our family! We were on fish from start to finish! Well over a hundred fish caught and over seventy kept, cleaned and packaged to bring home! At least twelve species reeled in!! My wife, myself, and our three sons were amazed by the friendliness and energy shared by Captain Carlos and First Mate Jeremy. My four year old even got to hang out up top with Captain Carlos for a little while! Not much could have made this excursion better! Even the unforeseen circumstances that would have normally ruined a trip were worked through and just became another part of the adventure!! Professional! Attentive!! Knowledgeable!! Friendly!! Good times!!!

First time out and it was awesome. Spotted a couple of dolphin on the ride out and stopped to watch them. Barely got our poles in the water and we were getting hits and pulling up fish. Crew was super nice and professional. Quickly Cleaned the fish for us and I have to say the filets were very clean of bones. Just an incredibly awesome adventure. Planning to go next year!

Captain Carlos and First Mate Jeremy, hell of a combo, i have been on many charters, these guys stand apart, friendly, informational. Our first trip we tangled with groupers and we were hooked. Our second trip Captain Carlos found us plenty of Mangos( my favorite fish) in some rough conditions. He is now our go to. We will be booking a third trip, to go even deeper. If you are looking for a great time on the water, you better book em before we do again❤️😂🤙🏾

We booked a charter for my sons 12th Birthday..we have been on a lot of charters..BUT THIS was the best experiences weve ever had! The captain was attentive and informative and full of happy, positive energy! Jeremy was patient and helpful and energetic...and they kept us on fish the whole time. They were thoughtful and courteous and even taught my son new fishing knots on the way back in. Definitely was one of the best charters we have been on and we cant wait to come back!! Appreciate yall!

What a trip, a quick 4 hour charter produced 6 BIG GAG GROUPERS that are now cleaned and ready for the skillet! The amazing deal is we were fishing in 15’ of water. Our group caught about 25-30 Grouper all total, plus a shark that put on a show for all to enjoy.Thanks Captain for a great trip - y’all are the best!!!Terry Reelitz

Carlos and Jeremy were phenomenal! We brought 5 inquisitive children and they were beyond accommodating. We didn’t catch a ton of fish, but they tried to make sure we caught some! They let us out to look for shells, and let the kids jump off the boat. They made it such a great day for all of us! We DID catch a big cobia and about 4 sharks which was so exciting!!

We did the 4 hour trip and it was the BEST experience! Captain Carlos and his First Mate, Jeremy, are super knowledgeable. They put us right on top of fish and used different kinds of bait to keep the fish biting. We caught over 100 fish and even took 90 home that THEY filleted for us (not all were keepers)! We enjoyed the music, on board restroom, and they even brought some drinks and a few snacks. Im also especially appreciative of Captain Carloss attentiveness to our group. In deeper water the swells were higher and my son sat down and stopped fishing but didnt tell me he felt sick. Captain recognized it and made brought him a comfy chair then took us to to smoother water where he popped right back up and kept fishing. Thank you! We also really enjoyed seeing dolphins! My family had a GREAT time! Great experience, you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!

SO MUCH FUN!! Captain Carlos and his mate Jeremy did a GREAT job. We booked a full day and they kept us busy for every minute of it. Captain Carlos was quick to get us to spots and on to the next when the bite slowed. Jeremy was Johnny-On-The-Spot with bait and taking fish off the hooks. We hauled in a ton of grunts, sea bass, and even a few puffer fish. The boat is so nice. Very comfortable for all 6 of us to fish on. At the end of the day, Jeremy was very fast at filleting our catch. We ate right at Miss Vickis by the marina. They blackened, grilled, and fried our fish for us to eat fresh.

Great fishing trip. We were on fish all day long. This was our second trip booked with Captain Carlos, and we were not disappointed. We will for sure be back next year. Cannot say enough good things about the charter.

I took my family out fishing on a full day charter with Captain Carlos we had an amazing time. The Captain and crew are very professional and make sure that you and your family have a great experience. Captain Carlos and his crew mate were awesome. They were very attentive to our kiddos, ensuring they were catching fish as much as possible. He was also very accommodating and did everything he could to make everyone comfortable, especially those feeling a little sea sick. Thanks to his effort nobody got sick! Thats success! My family just made memories for a lifetime thanks to these guys. I cant recommend enough. Tonight I just made some of the best fish tacos ever with our catch. So great! Thanks again guys. My five year old son and wife and I had a fantastic trip with Captain Carlos. We booked a half day trip, and the wind was a good 20 knots. We set up in protected water and caught lots of fish but Carlos wanted to get out in deeper water to give us a shot at bigger fish. He was very considerate of the choppy water and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. He did take us out in the bigger water for about 15 minutes and we did catch some nicer snapper, but decided to duck back in behind the islands in shallower water. First mate Pedro and Carlos were amazing with my son, never leaving his side and helping him catch a ton of fish. Ive chartered many fishing trips, but Ive never had a Captain and crew with more energy and positive attitudes. Book a trip. Super family friendly, youll catch a ton of tasty fish, and maybe even see dolphins like we did!

We had an absolute blast with Captain Carlos! The crew went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Even learned some fish facts on the trip. Carlos could tell we were there for a good time so we had the music rocking and jokes the whole trip. At one point one of our guys got a little seasick, Carlos offered him a ginger chew, a bean bag chair and some water. Our bud bounced back in no time! I honestly cannot say enough good stuff about our experience. Thank you for a great time!!

We had such an amazing time! I highly recommend Captain Carlos and his crew! We took the kids out for their first time fishing, Carlos went above and beyond to make sure we all had an amazing time and were constantly catching fish. We will definitely be booking another trip with them soon!

Captain Carlos was amazing - ensured everyone caught a bounty of fish and cleaned everything for us to take home. His first mate was a blast and they always ensured we all had bait on our lines. Highly recomened it was a graet day of fishing captin carlos and his deck hand jake were great if the fish got small or slowed down on biting we moved to another spot bait was kept on our hooks boat was clean and in good order they were very friendly and knowledgeable. We caught gray snapper grouper trout sea bass they cleaned and fillet the fish for us.

DO NOT BOOK this company! He is a King Liar, untrustworthy, greedy guy with zero respect for the customer! Despite booking my 8 year old twins first fishing trip, as part of their Christmas present 2 months previously, this guy took a full day fishing trip booking and left us high and dry! He sounded so friendly on the phone calls and I was really looking forward to the special day! It was scheduled for the 11th January, from 2pm to 6pm. He called me on the 8th January and I called him back right away, everything was good he said! He even said if we fancied coming earlier it was ok for him, as we were his only trip that day!We showed up very excited at 1.30, looked around to make sure we had the right place, which was confirmed! I spoke to a guy at the pier who said that Captain Carlos left with a full boat and a lot of bait, he said he was “ out for the day”! Of course at this time I couldn’t believe it, both my sons were extremely upset! We sat around until 3pm and gave up!The rat, actually told fishing booker that it was cancelled because of fog! He has never apologized once, also fishing booker sent an email stating the fog reason!Captain Carlos Bastos then sent an email stating that he told fishing booker it was fog, so I would get a fast refund!! Still no apology!Regarding the reply below and a personal email, he sent me. It’s clear that his lies are catching himself up. If it’s foggy out by the island it would seem strange that the morning booking extended!When he said he could take me out at 12 or 1 o’clock, on the phone call, because he had no bookings that day. Then on his message to me he never mentioned the morning booking, why? Maybe because it didn’t exist?Also the guy I spoke to at the pier said that he went out for the day, for sure! He had too much live bait for a morning fish!Never once mentioned a free trip!He did offer to take me out at the weekend, but not for free. Please ask yourself, would you reschedule a trip with a guy who treated you this way! Imagine if I had re- booked, built the kids hopes up again and he didn’t show again, driven the 120 mile round trip, for another let down! I think that would be stupid!If I caused any racial slur by my rat comment then I sincerely apologize, I do not know of racial slurs from the use of this word! It was used in the connotation of “rats” and ships which my father taught me from a young age!Rats are an unwelcome visitor to a ship!
