My son needed fifty points to get his Bright Futures scholarship. He did 9 sessions total: 4 math sessions with Greg and 5 reading/writing sessions with Nicole. His score jumped 110 points! They are very honest in the informational session and will tell it to you straight: if the kid puts in the work, the goal can be met. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Disciplined Minds.

While disciplined minds has helped me during high school with ACT tutoring, they have also helped me tremendously throughout my college career. Most recently Trent helped me with my summer 6 week calculus course at UT. With his help I was able to earn an A on our final exam. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without him.

Very nice people with very helpful test taking strategies. I take an SAT tutoring course there and after a couple months of going in three to four times a week, my score has bumped up quite a bit. The service is good, the classmates are nice, and they have quiet workplaces that anyone can concentrate in. Also, their use of technology is efficient.

My sons ACT subscore for Reading improved greatly in just a few weeks with Jessica! Amazing results received and we were also extremely happy with the strategies and work he did with Greg in math and science! Highly recommend Disciplined Minds for both SAT and ACT prep! Feedback is great, as well. Scheduling staff is also top notch and very accommodating! This is a five star tutoring facility for some great schools in the area!

Disciplined Minds Tutoring is great. I’m so glad that I chose them for my SAT prep. Every tutor at Disciplined Minds is amazing and does whatever it takes to make sure you increase your score. Each tutor learns your strengths and weaknesses while working with you and will develop a plan to help you be as successful as possible on the SAT. I got an 1100 on my PSAT before I went to Disciplined Minds. I increased to a 1380 on the SAT. This was a huge achievement for me and I could not have done it without Disciplined Minds.

Over the summer I was tutored by Kristen for a college level genetics course and I was blown away by my experience at Disciplined Minds. Kristen went above and beyond to make sure she reviewed every chapter and always came prepared to be able to explain each concept in incredible depth. Many of the concepts throughout the course were difficult to understand but Kristen would take the time to give alternative examples or draw out diagrams to assure that I left with a confident grasp of the material. Thanks to Kristen I ended the course with an A and could not have been happier! Kristen is not only knowledgeable in genetics but also in other upper level science courses. I wish I found her sooner!

Every time I meet with a tutor here I learn something new. They explain things to me to help me understand the information I am being taught better. Anything I am ever confused on, when I come here it gets explained to me in a new and better way. I always feel prepared for any tests or quizzes I have after I come here.

Our family has had great results and support with DM. All of the tutors we used have helped bring my boys grades up and prepare them well. Disciplined Minds (DM) and their staff of awesome tutors have been life savers. Our experience began during middle school, followed by high school; a time when really understanding math became so critical. DM was committed from day #1 to the success of my girls and it was a huge turning point in their academic journey. The level of DM instruction, their patience and the constant positive feedback, far exceeded what I ever expected to receive from a tutor. DM is hands down the best tutoring company in Tampa. Both my children have had wonderful experiences at DM. My daughter saw Barbara multiple times when she was struggling in pre-algebra. She is not a math kid but Barbara was really able to explain the concepts to her in a way she understood. After only a few sessions with Trent Strauch, my son who was having trouble in Geometry and telling me I just dont get it, he caught up as if a light bulb had gone off in his head. He went to Trents Exam Review for the Geometry EOC and said, I learned more in 2 days with Mr. Strauch than I learned all semester in school . That says it all! I plan on sending both my children to DM for SAT prep as well. The BEST!

My learning experience at Disciplined Minds (DM) has been AMAZING! After my first tutoring session with Scott, I was impressed with his unparalleled/unique teaching skills. To further emphasize my satisfaction, I drove from Sarasota for their services. I have used DM for both AP Chemistry tutoring as well as SAT preparation.
