They did a wonderful job. Cleaned up everyday and came back out a fixed a problem quickly.

We just completed construction on a new pool. Southern Aluminum was used for our cage and elite roof. We had the amazing team of Josh and Juan. The quality is second to none. Their work ethic, personalities, communication and attention to every detail was over the top. Mark the owner was also amazing, making sure the layout was everything we wanted. We highly recommend this company!

They just finished our enormous screened patio and they did a fantastic job! The price was incredible compared to other companies we had called for estimates. The design was tricky, but Steve and Mark worked it out in a beautiful way! We are just elated and amazed at how our patio looks and feels! Thank y’all so much! We had a fantastic experience with southern aluminum. They were great coming out and doing the estimate, kept us up to date on the progress of our permit and did the work well when it came time to put up the pool cage. The pool cage looks BEAUTIFUL!! We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to replace their pool cage.

Excellent company! Built our screened in room, they made the ceiling higher than expected and that really made it nice. Insulated roof really keeps the heat out. Screens are heavy duty and our large dog isnt able to hurt them. Prices were fair and work was completed on time and efficiently. Best of all, its a year later and a tiny leak appeared between the existing roof and the lanai, they came out until it was found and fixed at no charge. Nothing better than a company that does great work and lives up to its guarantee!

Great communication and product!We expanded our patio and we needed an entire new pool cage. They had several recommendations such as larger gutters, lowering the support bars to provide a more open view and going with a dark vs. light aluminum. We also asked for the no-see-um screen because we live on a lake. It was an up-charge but well worth it. We dont get any bugs floating in the pool anymore because they cant get in. They did a great job and they were very professional. Mark kept us informed throughout the project.

Very hard to get a response! We have now needed 3 repairs in under one year. Still waiting on another repair and cannot get a return call! So frustrating!

Southern Aluminum was the 3rd company I asked for a quote on a new patio/deck enclosure. They submitted an estimate 30 to 40% cheaper than the other 2 companies. After reading the reviews, we asked them to complete the job. Excellent work and ahead of time. I dont write a ton of reviews but its well deserved in this case. It pays to shop around and I strongly recommend the folks at Southern Aluminum.

Southern Aluminum is one of the best contractors I have ever hired. My neighbor recommended them after having a positive experience. They completed my enclosure on time and Im thrilled with the final product. I will continue to recommend them to my family and friends.

Steve and his guys installed a large pool cage at our home. The crew worked quickly and our cage is amazing. Aesthetically, our pool area looks much better after the cage was installed and the screen designed to keep out even the smallest of pests has worked as advertised. The prices we were quoted were considerably below what we anticipated. Southern Aluminum did a great job!

Just recently had a Screened Insulated Roof Lanai added to the house by Southern Aluminum Installations. The three man Installation crew headed up by Tony was by far the best and most professional installers I have ever witnessed, the complete job took less than a day and a half, when they left you could not tell that they were even there, except for a new room. Southern Aluminum Installations had the best price in the Tampa Bay Area. My wife now calls this our little paradise. If you are looking for high quality screen enclosure, this is the company to call.

After getting several estimates to rescreen our pool cage and replace our old lanai pan roof with a new bonded roof and replace our 5” gutters with 7” gutters we were glad we didn’t choose Southern Aluminum. Rick spent ½ hour taking measurements and was negative about the time frame it would take to get the gutters. He never sent us a quote and I had to write down the figures on paper. We didn’t think this company presented themselves very professional. When we asked if they pressure wash after the job and they said yes, at an additional cost. They just didn’t seem interested in getting our business for $7400 and we are happy that we didn’t choose them.

I had a couple of screen panels that needed to be replaced due to the recent weather. These guys came out same day and did excellent work! They even repaired an additional panel that I didnt even notice was damaged. Highly recommend!

This firm did my original install 7 years ago and were a pleasure to work with. Called them several times there after for repairs and they were most responsive. Recently, I called them on two seperate occasions and spoke to Steve both times. First time I was told they werent doing repairs anymore because they were so busy but he would talk to the boss and let me know it he could get to me. I told him I was out,of town and I could wait 6 weeks for the repair. He never got back to me. A week ago I called and spoke with Steve again. He told me he would put in a repair ticket to the boss and call me back later that day to let me know if the repair could be scheduled. Again I did not hear back from him. Very poor, in fact, non-existent customer support. I guess once they get your money for the installation they dont care about follow-up. Will not use them again and definately will not recommend them.

Price was a few hundred bucks cheaper than other quotes I got which was nice. However the installers left a mess of sharp aluminum scraps all over our back yard, and the roof leaked in the first rain. I reported it a week ago and it hasnt been fixed yet. Now that they have my money they dont seem too motivated...

I had a new pool enclosure installed, along with some additional aluminum post work performed. I chose Southern Aluminum, not only because of good previous reviews, but they also came in about 3K less than my highest bidder for the same work. The construction took less than a week, and everything was built from scratch; nothing was brought in pre-fab and pieced together like some companies will do. Everything turned out great! I waited to post a review because I wanted to wait for a good rain to ensure that the gutters were doing their job. Not too long after a good rain, I discovered a leak that appeared to be coming from behind the gutter where the upper gutter from the lanai overlaps the bottom gutter from the main roof. I called Steve about it, and even emailed in a quick video of the leak during a good rain. He sent someone out the first time to caulk the seams around everything, but it would still leak. I called again, and this time Mark came out with another tech. They were prepared to take the lower gutter down and extend it to try and fix it, but felt that that wasn’t what was needed. I give props to Mark for finding the source of the leak, which was actually a broken seam in the TPO rubber roof of the lanai, which caused water to enter and leak under the lanai roof where you couldn’t see it. You could only see the water when it leaked out behind the gutter. I would have never found that, because you couldn’t see the break in the seam. Mark found it when using the garden hose to run water over specific areas on the roof until water came out of the leak.This speaks volumes to me. They could have just gave up after receiving full payment and did nothing, but I felt like they went the extra mile to make sure everything was right.

I used southern back in 2010 to do my pool enclosure and they did a great job. When I moved to my new house I called Rick (March 2016) the sales guy to see if they could help with some small repairs and add a door to my existing enclosure. He came out gave a quote and we got things rolling. Once the contact was signed on April 7th I had suggested 3 days at the end of April I would like them to come. I never heard from anyone so the week of I reached out to Rick and asked for an update. I was scheduled for Friday he said and wasnt sure why no one called me. No big deal so I waited till 10am Friday and no one had arrived or called. I call Rick, he called someone and 15 minutes later called me back and said oh they had you scheduled but something came up and they wont be out someone will call you next week to re schedule. Well here comes Thursday a week later and still no call yet again to reschedule. I again call Rick and say hey no ones called me. The next day first thing I get a VM from a Steve. Steve states the scheduler was out and would get back with me Monday to see when they could fit me in. Yet again here is Monday end of business day and no calls from anyone. I texted Rick and Steve and said never mind Ill go elsewhere. Really sad and unfortunate Im not quite sure what happened with this company. Maybe it was because my first job was over 6k and this one for only $650 they could really care less??? Shouldnt be the case beause I am a returning customer who remembers people that take care of me and remembers the ones that dont. I will never use this company again or refer them after this last experience of absolutely no follow up or care for losing a customer.
