I love this hotel. I have stayed here many times and every time the staff are so courteous and friendly, the rooms are clean and quiet and the food at the restaurant is excellent. This trip Tiva and Cassandra at the front desk were terrific and Carlos my server for breakfast is a very polite young man and we had a nice conversation. All of this plus the location. Cant recommend the Tampa Airport Marriott highly enough.

Older hotel, but has been nicely remodeled. The beds are very comfortable.If you are looking for quiet, get a room overlooking the garden.The staff is very helpful, with the exception of on older lady who uses a walker. She can be unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with.Hotel is directly connected to terminal. Short 5 minute walk.

Had food and drinks at the bar dining area. Late night travel snacks. They do not know how to make a proper Old Fashioned and the nachos were so so.

AMAZING service with large & clean rooms!! We were moving back home after a very long time in St Pete for my medically complicated daughter. Stayed at this hotel the night before our 7am flight. Chris & Scott were SUPER helpful. We had a ton of luggage. Chris helped us with all of it to the room and Scott was at our door ready to move everything at 5:30am in the morning. The move has been extremely stressful for us with all the stuff and the fact my daughter needing different medial equipment. Well Chris & Scott definitely made everything easier. We are coming back in Nov and will definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing and surprisingly quiet for being located right at the airport.Breakfast service left a little to be desired but Im assuming that like seemingly everyone else these days theyre facing staffing issues. In the end the food was great, well worth waiting for!Loved the view from our room. Next time hoping to get there earlier to take advantage of the pool, Cornhole and ping-pong.If this was helpful please give it a like!

As an Ambassador Elite, this was one of the best Marriott experiences I’ve had. Our flight arrived late (11:30pm) and our luggage was not on our flight. Instead of continuing to our destination with no luggage, we decided to stay overnight and wait for our bags to come in on the next flight in the morning. Not only were they more than accommodating, they had a few meals from the restaurant in the fridge since we didn’t have dinner on our flight, they also provided toothbrushes and basic necessities. Such a pleasant experience, every time we come in to Tampa, we may just stay there the first nought before continuing the last leg.

Convenience, comfort, location, cleanliness.Stayed here for a brief getaway and a beach day. Decided to stay at the airport because of my early flight. Everything perfect up through my interaction with Will at check out.I had called down for a copy of my bill to review because I had food charges and I also wanted to make sure I wasn’t charged for WIFI which is free for Bonvoy Members. Upon review I was charged $25 for self parking. I asked him to please remove the charge because I did not have a car overnight.Somehow I think he didn’t believe me. I parked my car at the main entrance to run in and drop my beach bags in my room and freshen my contacts. There is no way I’m paying for that much less $25. My intention was to drop the car off before returning to hotel to avoid said parking fees. I just didn’t care for the way he slid the revised receipt across the desk and changed his tone. That is the only reason this wasn’t a full 5 star.Beautifully appointed hotel with spacious rooms, super clean and quiet also. Will be back!

I am too disgusted with them to even review my previous stay because I planned on getting a room tonight because I have a flight out in the morning and though I dont believe anyone owes me anything for serving in the military, these people seriously made a military museum walk to their front desk to prove the genuine appreciation the Marriotts feels for the men and women that serve. So when I try to get a room I am informed the military rate is temporarily turned off because they have other opportunities in town to fill the rooms at top dollar rates! 🤔

Convenient to the terminals and clean but it was the staff that made the stay excellent The bellman took our luggage to check in for our flight and stayed till complete I did not have to lift a finger the check in person was friendly and the bar person was cheerful and helpful it is not you get this type of service even in a 5 star hotel Well done

Beautiful hotel inside Tampa International airport. The only downside, and reason for a docked star, is the awful signage when coming in via car. With construction, the signs arent clear, we missed it three times and I finally had family drop me at departing flights area and walked. That was not fun. The rest has been great. Good restaurant on site or walk out into the airport for many more or fast food. Shops very accessible but close early.

Reservations and check in were very easy and fast! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the pumps for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Finally, there was a late check out for Noon was amazing since my flight didnt land until 1 am so I was able to get some good sleep!

Really good restaurant at this Marriott. Bed and bath amenities are nice. Walk right to the gate from your room. Had a 7am flight and was worth it to stay here.

This was worth every penny. The location was perfect to catch my flight the next day. Room was amazing, pool area was great. Extremely welcoming by the employees. I will be back again for every time I’m down there. The shuttle straight to the airport was very convenient!

Im very pleased with the hotel and had a great time. I was not sure how it would be being at the airport, but you would never even know they were located in the airport which was nice.

I normally don’t post bad reviews, but I feel like we definitely got shafted on this room. We paid for a “Runway View” and can literally only see the very tip on the runway. I called to see if they had any better views available and was told all that they had was the room right next door to us. There is also a video playing of how clean everything is, yet the room is coated in dust on all surfaces. The windows are also filthy. Just disappointed..expected better for a $350+ per night room.

Book this hotel! It might be a few bucks more than an offsite hotel but nothing is better after a day of delayed flight than riding up that elevator and laying your head in about 5 minutes after leaving baggage claim. Nice clean option with friendly staff and the restaurant in the hotel has a good quick breakfast cafe with many options.

Great location at the airport and friendly front desk, but the kudos stop there. The rooms, hallways, exterior, etc are all dated and feel dirty. The bed is the worst bed i have every slept in. Extremely hard with pillows that provide no support. The room ac thermostat is just for decoration as the hotel controls the temp. Run from this place and find something on Westshore.

My family and I had to stay one night at the Tampa Airport Marriott. We arrived the night before our condo was available for check in. So we got in to the Marriott around 1am. At first I was very unimpressed with the staff. I didnt have valet, but the valet guys were at the entrance when I came in. Smoking what I dont believe was a cigarette right at the front door with friends of theirs just parked and hanging out at the entrance. The next day however they staff was amazing and made up for the night before. Compted my parking and gave great suggestions for our vacation. This would be a 5 star if it wasnt for the overnight crew.

Not only was this a $275 night, the hotel advertises sound proof walls but I hear the neighboring rooms close their toilet seat all day and their TV. This place is a rip off. The rooms are nothing special. Ive stayed in nicer $100 rooms. The tub is small, carpets are grungy. The TV remote has buttons that dont work.

Love the fact this upscale hotel is located in the airport. So convenient when you have an early flight. Nice bar restaurant by front desk serves a variety of food and drinks. Outside heated pool, patio with fire pit was a nice place to relax.Room was clean and nicely decorated. No in room safe. They do have in room coffees makers fridge, ice buckets, iron, blow dryers. No magnifying mirror ladies. Beds were firm but comfortable, pillows soft. Basic bathroom toiletries. I recommend staying here if you have an early flight.

Great hotel ( but youve to pay for Wi-Fi)

So so so convenient if you have an early flight. Well worth it to just stay right there. Only a few minutes walk to security/check-in. The staff was super friendly and the room was spacious. I would 100% stay again.

Customer service poor. At check in, clerk asked for my ID. I showed license up against clear plastic shield between her and I. She insisted upon me giving it to her. I told her that really goes against grain of contact less behavior during COVID. She absolutely insisted. Such rote behavior.

Worst hotel ever. When I arrived I went to front desk and they stated we canceled your reservation (that was paid for). Now they did put us in another property 15min away. I had my 84 year old mother with me who has trouble getting around and anxiety. So she didn’t sleep all night worrying about missing flight. This is reason we stay at airport. Reason I was given for cancellation was they booked a large group. Very disappointed in Mariott

The staff was very helpful and the hotel is easy to get to, making travel much more convenient. The 1 star deduction is due to the cleanliness of the room and dated look of the room/floor we were on. There was hair all over the toilet, bathroom floor and tub.

The room had bed bugs ON THE BED me and my brother was itching the next morning at checkout We told the assistant head manager and showed him the bits on my brother arms and he said he was going get someone to look at the room see if its bed bugs i ask for our money back he said NO then i ask the front desk for customer service number they didnt give it to me few good things about the room tho the TV was big and the view was really nice of the airport seen....CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS BAD AND OUR SHEETS AND BED WAS BAD WITH BUGS I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE I CAME TO VISIT THIS CITY WE NOT FROM HERE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WE HAD

This place is an absolute unorganized zoo! They messed my room check in up twice. The staff is very unfriendly and uncooperative. As a Titanium Member, I CAN HONESTLY SAY I haven’t been to a Marriott property this desperate for new management. Nice hotel...this team just can’t pull it together to get guests rooms. And that’s kinda important in the hospitality business.

Quick and easy if you have an early AM flight and your just flying through.

I am a frequent traveler and I fly 2-3 times a year. I was going to Orlando but decided to fly into Tampa Airport as it was cheaper than flying into MCO. My flight arrived around 8-9 at night, and we decided to check into this hotel since it was so late. Here are some pros and cons I noticed about the placePROS:1.Walkway links the hotel right up to the airport, so no airport hotel shuttles are needed2. There is a 24-hour tram that links the Economy parking lot and the rental car place so we can get our rental.3. Beds were comfortable, I got a good nights rest.CONS:1. Hotel is a bit outdated. The room we got had a few cobwebs and dust here and there but nothing too severe.2. Restrooms were old as well and a bit dirty.This is a nice hotel, but it isnt that luxurious. But I didnt come here for the luxury. Only for convenience. And I had to stay there one more night as I had a flight that left at 7. But a good hotel for the convenience.

This hotel is in the airport and very convenient especially with early morning flights. My room was clean and comfortable. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel lobby area which stays open a couple hours longer than the restaurants in the airport terminal....helpful if you arrive around 9 pm like we did and found nothing was open to get a quick bite to eat.

The staff was very helpful and was able to deal with me and the pool was outstanding its very cool on the run way almost the bar and food service was fantastic and the first room was outstandingYours truly Steven Craig shopnick.

Sandy is an absolute doll. Always pick a marriott because I know I will get good customer service, a comfortable night of sleep, and a clean establishment. We didnt get to hit the pool although its very well kept as well. I would be giving 5 starts but I had to deal with a not so friendly front desk agent that was stingy with the request of extra cream and sugar for coffee. The normal amenities available however due to covid-19 make sure you phone the front desk ahead of time to request housekeeping services otherwise you will get passed over.

Positive: The location to walk right to the airport main hall was perfect. Negative: A little trouble with check in and only one person checking people in.

A very nice airport hotel. Great amenities and the staff tries their best to accommodate during covid. Especially when it came to water at the gym. There was a discrepancy as I checked out with folio about internet and my Bonvoy number. William took care of it and tried his best to make me feel less embarrassed by the error. Thank you!

Im pretty sure they dont clean the rooms. Private part hair on the bathroom floor brown crust around the light switches soap scum in the shower. Thorough water damage throughout. This room has not actually been cleaned in ages. Dated hallway. Stayed in Marriotts before, Ill be second guessing from now on. Bite the bullet, call an uber and stay at a different hotel.

Good customer service nice rooms

Spirit Airlines (you get what you pay for)my elderly mother ♿& I missed our flight. There was no audible announcement to board and we were next to departure gate over 35 min prior to expected boarding. Spirit staff wanted us to get from one end of terminal to the other with my mother using her walker trotting alongside us repeatedly saying hurry up, hurry up needless to say we missed that flight as well. NO REFUND, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO RESCHEDULE, NO NOTHING! Airfare, resort non refundable, car rental and all pre flight health testing fees, declaration forms, 2 hr ride to Tampa all wasted. 😥worst anniversary surprise gift ever!!!

If you are coming or going out of Tampa, this place is excellent for late arrivals or if your flight is an early departure and you dont want to have to wake up in the pitch black in order to get here on time - get a room the night before and start your vacation relaxed 😎

Very very VERY friendly staff and yes-- amazingly convenient when traveling thru this airport; however, Im pretty sure this hotel is where the saying YOU CANT PUT LIPSTICK ON A PIG originated!!!!!Dear God, Marriott.... you can SURELY DO BETTER!!!! 1980 called and they want their groovy hotel back: olive-green wall paper, musty smells, & water stained ceilings included. Ummm Im thinking its time to tear this old shack down and start over. Jeeezus!!

Its tough to give a fair review during the covid pandemic, so many usual services are not available.With that being said this a solid hotel. Absolutely best aspect is the location, especially if you have an early departure or later arrival.On the plus side the windows so a solid job of keeping it the noise from the airplanes, however interior noise is far worse.There is a good 1/2 inch gap below the door and you can hear everything your neighbor is saying or what they are doing...had the privilege of staying next door to some newlyweds. At least they had fun.Beds were cozy, rooms are clean. The food at the market was surprisingly good quality.

Nice Marriott hotel located in the main terminal at Tampa International Airport. Nice views of the runways and planes taking off and landing. Also has an outdoor garden area and outdoor swimming pool. Kahwa coffee kiosk in the lobby along with a bar area with food service.

This is a nice hotel right in the airport. Given our early departure, it made the most sense to stay here. It was not cheap but just what we needed. The restaurant is perfectly OK, given that its really your only option here. Most important, the hotel was QUIET. Couldnt believe it. The bed was super comfortable. The pool was nicely located on the balcony outside the restaurant but its really quite small and some people might not like being on display there. A nice hotel option for those who need to fly out early.

830 pm at the airport. Only place open to grab a bottle of water is your hotel snack room in the lobby. $18.17 for a bottle of water and small bottle of cranberry juice. WTH is wrong with you? It’s not room service or a drink at the bar. Relearn to be kind and hospitable.

Putting aside the convenience of staying at the airport, the staff at every station is excellent, making this always a good stay. From reception to the restaurant, the service is five star ⭐! Always.

Loud family 3am- didnt realize walls so thin

The Tampa Airport Marriott Hotel was excellent. We were under pressure to get a hotel because our flight out of Fort Meyers was cancelled by Jet Blue(s) and required us to travel to Tampa and stay overnight to be able to get a flight out on Easter Sunday. The hotel staff from check-in to check-out were personable and professional. We dined only at the Cafe which was excellent for the included breakfast. All other amenities, like the pool and w/o room, looked up to date and clean, despite the fact that we did not use them on our stay. The hotel room was decorated nicely and was clean. The bed was very comfortable! We were able to return our rental car after attending a ball game at the Tropicana field (Tampa & Red Sox) and return to hotel via airport rail system which took the pressure off returning the car very early the next morning considering our flight did not leave until 6pm. The hotel gave us late check out (1pm) which helped in having a relaxing morning. The hotel room floor was large enough to do yoga (yeah) and still have plenty of room. The connection with the airport mall made dining easy-we chose an excellent Asian restaurant. Our only concern was low pressure in shower with long wait for hot water to actaully get hot.Otherwise, for the money and comfort of this hotel, the price was right!

Awesome Hotel! Great Staff!!and airport. Was going on a cruise so we spent the night before here. First it was very convenient, no transportation needed. Plus was able to set up ride to ship ride from the hotel lobby. Also a few good choices of places to eat right there in the airport. If you like a comfortable, clean, modern and convenient place look no further.Also I would like to thank Sandy. While a guest there I had a SMALL problem when my wife left her bag of jewelry in a drawer. We didnt realize it until we were unpacking on the ship. My wife called the Marriott instantly and spoke with Sandy. Sandy handled it all in a blink and assured us it was safe and will be there for us to pick up when we returned. And so we did. When we got there we spoke to Jonathan at the counter who called Brian who came with the bag. No long wait and happy to assist Brain checked her ID she signed a form and her bag returned intact. We cant say thank you enough for help making our vacation enjoyable with giving us both peace of mind. I wish I could give bonus stars

We were enjoying our stay in Florida. We had been there for over a month. The temperatures were great and the grass was green. Then it happened. Presidential Orders to close beaches,food establishments, bars. My wife wanted to get home. Everyone was worried about us. Changes caused us to stay at the Tampa Airport Marriott. The hotel was beautiful. Service was great and our room was a quiet retreat. For the evening we just enjoyed our stay/

Had 5 am flight and couldn’t be happier I stayed here. Allowed me to drop off my rental the night before and easily take the tram to the terminal and hotel. Probably also saved me money and allowed the extra hour at least of sleep. Hotel was very nice, staff was great and probably took me 15 minutes from hotel room to gate for a 5 am flight. Will definitely stay again when flying out of TPA
