This was a an exceptionally good experience. Initially, I needed a piece of glass from Infiniti and they told me it would not be in for it indefinite period of time. At this point, I was scrambling for a piece of glass for my window. I decided to give the Glass Doctor a call based on their reviews. The manager who answered the phone was very confident that they have that piece of glass and additionally could do the install on Saturday between 10:00 and 2:00. Saturday morning arrived, and Mike from Glass Doctor arrived around 10:15. We had some issues in regards to the payment method and Mike was very patient and assured me wed get it done and we did. The job was done very quickly and it was a very clean job. Through the entire experience, Mike was very courteous, respectful, and just an overall nice guy. Terrible experience all around. First technician came out and replaced front windshield in almost brand new car. I get in the car and there’s still glass on the dash and 2 little cuts in my dashboard. I reverse the car and the rear view mirror falls right off. I tried to put it back on and noticed dirty hand prints all over my headliner. Again, brand new car. I proceed to call and they put me in contact with who was supposed to be the manager. This gentle men said well I’m not the manager but kind of, I have been doing glass for 30 years. I not only stressed my concerns but sent a ton of pictures over as well. He said they would send someone out to put a new windshield in AGAIN. After talking to him it rained and the windshield leaked. It took them days to come back out and fix my windshield that there technician destroyed. The rear view mirror still isn’t correct. I asked what would be done for all my problems and time and the company has ghosted me. I’ve called, texted, emailed and no response.

I worked with glass doctor to replace a large double-paned house window. The price was good and the process was mostly hassle free. Our technicians were great and professional, and the end result looks indistinguishable from our original window.My only issue was with communication on scheduling our install. We were told we would be called when our part arrived to schedule an install. After about a month with no call, we called them and found out our part had arrived some time ago. They said someone would have to call us back that day to get the install scheduled. It ended up being another week before anyone called us back. This is not an issue with the technicians, but rather with the phone routing; it did not feel very reliable.Despite that, out of the many vendors I tried to get my glass replaced, this was the most straightforward, hassle-free, and professional company out there and I am happy with their work.

The actual installation was great, but as soon as I opened my car door I saw pieces of glass everywhere! Over the phone I was told the technician would come with a shop vac to take up pieces of glass. ** Be sure to ask your technician to handle your vehicle/parts with care and inspect everything before they leave** My main concern with Glass Doctor is the quality of workmanship. Their customer service and availability has been good so far. First technician managed to get glass in every crevice in the rear area of my 2019 SUV, left glass under and around my car and the seal around the window was not installed properly. GD came back out in a timely manner and cleaned up the mess and fixed the seal. Not sure if it was the 1st 2nd or 3rd tech to come out but one of them pried open the lift gate pull handle to gain access, with a screwdriver I am assuming, and there are visible pry marks. Other area seems to be dragged on the ground before reassembling. Lastly, there is some noise coming from the rear interior molding that did not exist before replacing the glass - this may not be unavoidable due to reassembly though I wouldnt know for sure and its quite annoying.

I recently had to replace my driver side window and utilized Glass Doctor of Tampa Bay. The entire process was easy from start to finish and the next day my window was replaced. After a while, I started noticing a loud squeak when rolling up or down my window and to make things worse it happened intermittently. I called the Glass doctor and worked with Keith the manager. He was extremely professional and courteous. Keith assured me that what matters most to him is that his customers are happy. Therefore, he set up an appointment that worked with my schedule, my location and when I felt the noise would happen most (In the early morning). Keith also let me know that Will R. would be my service tech and that he is an expert in this field. Will R. came out as promised, worked very hard to show me step by step the process, was extremely professional, courteous and took his time to explain everything to me in laymans terms. He was able to determine that it was a manufacturer issue with that window so he left and returned the same day with another window from a different manufacturer and it resolved the problem. Glass Doctor is terrible. They cant give me a correct quote. I need to get my sliding glass door fixed, and the person I spoke to told me it would cost $450. Then someone came to my house to measure the door, and he said it would cost $569. Then, when the office generated the receipt, they upped the price to $745. No doubt by the time this is over it will cost less to simply buy a new door.

Had an excellent experience with Glass Doctor from start to finish! Had a large crack form in the windshield of my Miata on Wednesday. I visited Glass Doctor of Tampa Bay to see what they recommend. Sarah at the front desk was very friendly and efficient, in no time everything was arranged: insurance claim and scheduled visit by a technician for Friday. The technician (Dave) who arrived on Friday was knowledgeable and fast. He knew about the challenges for my specific car in relation to windshield replacement and had a new windshield fitted within the hour! He also had many interesting stories about windshields and did not mind that I was watching all the time (and taking pictures). I know where to go next time I need a windshield replacement or repair!
