We hired Paul Davis to remodel our master bathroom. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and the beautiful results. First of all, Andres is an outstanding project manager. Throughout the project we had many questions because we had not undertaken such a big home project before. Andres was always communicative, patiently answering our questions and seemed genuinely happy to offer us his guidance and suggestions. It gave us peace of mind knowing that if the project ran into any unexpected issues, we could count on him to quickly find solutions. He kept the project on schedule and continually checked with us to be sure we were pleased with the progress and results. I truly feel he went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the project ran smoothly. We were surprised at how little disruption, mess or dust there was in our home throughout the project. Every contractor who came to our home was professional and left the workspace clean at the end of the day. The tile work was especially impressive. You can tell that Henry and Jordan take great pride in their work and it is reflected in the amazing results. Also, special shout out to Ariel who is a very skilled handyman and took great care to make sure we were pleased with his work. I would highly recommend Paul Davis and would turn to them again if we remodel our kitchen.
Used this company after a flood in my home. They were very responsive, thorough, professional. Completed job in less than estimated time. Work they did was very well done. Jason was a great contractor. Had issue with a person in their accounting department not following up with my insurance company in a timely fashion but wouldnt give a bad review based on one person.
Matt from Paul Davis was great to work with when we had our home flood and damaged. Their work was prompt and on time and he was very very patient and quick to respond every single time (there were many) that I needed to talk to him regarding our situation and damage. Even still after having issues with my insurance company, Matt is very responsive and helpful when I needed him! 10/10 recommend!
I work for a local roofing company, we have a mutual client who is looking to have the roof repaired and PD crew are taking care of the water damage mitigation. I had pleasure of meeting with 2 of the crew, Angel and Geno, who were professional and courteous. I personally will be referring this company in the future to all that need their services.
Hired PD Tampa to do restoration after AC handler leak in my home. Manager Andres (apparently they use the term manager very loosely) complete lack of communication, laziness and total lack of interest in the project should have been a warning sign. The following is a list of some of the issues we experienced. Please read on to the last one it is the most dangerous and disturbing aspect having hired this company.1. Contractors showing up around 10 am only to say leaving to go to Home Depot for supplies. One hour round trip from my home. When I mentioned this I was told that was standard procedure. Really!!!2. Painters doing electrical work. Self explanatory.3. Attempting to cut tile indoors without any containment. When I insisted they do something again they went to Home Depot. Only to return without proper containment kit(s). Instead a roll of fine mill plastic sheeting and painters tape. Needless to say the much if not most of the tile dust escaped into the house.4. Pressure from manager to consider removing three plus rooms of tile instead of the 300 or so sq ft necessary because tile had been discontinued. Insisted could not find enough tile and if he could it probably would not match existing tile. I contacted the manufacturer and in a 2 minute phone call found 2000 sq ft of it avaliable. Even went as far to tell us they could pack up all the rooms and transport it all to their warehouse for storage. Then demo all the good tile and replace with a tile selected from their showroom. All I could hear was commission, commission $$$! Tile was perfect match 100%.5. On several occasions sent a contractor alone to do work who spoke no English at all. Unfortunately I only speak English.6. Contractors often showed up without clear instructions on what they were supposed to do. Homeowner has to act as manager and supervisor.7. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Homeowner may need to have a means of protecting themselves and their family. Contractor arrived alone to start work shortly after I realized another guy was in my house. Only expecting the one guy to work that day. Ok, went out to my garage and found two ladies sitting in the middle of my garage with laptops and food. Asked Andres to ask them to leave. At first he refused and and after a lengthy text and telephone exchange called the contractor.Contractor became extremely irritated slamming things on the floor of garage and cursing at me in Spanish. I confronted him and explained to him and his helper my reason for asking apparently their wives to leave. I asked how long to finish was told one hour. Desperate to get this horrific ordeal over with I told them to finish ASAP. I pulled up the Sheriffs phone number on my laptop and got out a loaded handgun and tucked it into my waistband. You NEVER PUT A CLIENT/HOMEOWNER IN HARMS WAY! If a homeowner contacts you and is not comfortable with a situation or worker in their home YOU GET THEM OUT IMMEDIATELY! I was fortunate this situation did not escalate, however someone else may not be so fortunate.
Everyone has been amazing to work with. They all were very helpful and patient with me though-out the process of the remodeling of my house after it catching fire back in January 2021.
Very courteous and considerate. Excellent service and quality work. Mario was very professional. Would absolutely recommend!
Cant say enough about the positive experience we had with Paul Davis Restoration. From the very beginning they made this whole process less stressful and easy to manage. Every team that was sent for different phases of the repair was so professional and their attention to detail cant be beat. I would definitely recommend them.
Paul Davis Restoration repaired water damage caused by a leak in my roof. Their work was professional, timely, and courteous. My home looks like new. I especially want to recognize the following individuals. Lucas documented the damage, coordinated with my insurance company, and kept me informed throughout the process. Andres acted as the general contractor and ensured a high-level of quality control during the repairs. The painters (Javier, Alberto, and William) performed above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration.
This company does good work. However, communication is a nightmare with the person overseeing the project, Andres. Thankfully, I was provided with the contact information for the project manager, Robert, who has been very helpful throughout. I was initially told my project would take about a month to complete. It is now approaching 4 months and still has pending items. Be aware that if you hire this company you will have to force the communication. Also be aware that it will take significantly longer; my experience shows about 4 times the estimated length of time.**Update: For the second time now, the company is attempting to charge me twice for the same work they have already been paid for by the insurance company. Thankfully, I have the original estimate with line items as well as the separated estimate with line items specific to the items covered by the insurance company. The separated estimate that was finally provided to me and the insurance company is missing two areas that were covered by insurance. I also saved all of my correspondence so I have documented proof that I requested a separate estimate prior to signing the contract with Paul Davis. In healthcare, if an office bills both the patient and the patients insurance for the same procedure (other than a co-pay/deductible), this is called double dipping and is highly illegal. Im not sure what its called for contractors but plan to find out and will probably follow up with regulatory agencies who oversee contractor licenses. If you are reading this review and have a similar experience, please follow up with the regulatory agencies as well. The contractor license number for Paul Davis is located on the estimates as well as invoices.
Mark McComeskey & Andres Carvajal were in charge. The kept close tabs on the progress & kept everyone on a tight schedule. The wood for the floor replacement arrived late, so work continued on weekends! Robert Blowers is Andres right hand man. He was at our home almost daily, took pictures and kept everyone in the loop working together.Randy with Freedom Floors was excellent & made the transitions between the wood & other flooring superior by using fine carpentry techniques. His team of Mason & Lonnie were excellent. Dustin, in charge of sales for Freedom Flooring, knew the different products far better than anyone else in the wood business.Allan was in charge of removing the damaged floors. His team worked quickly & efficiently.Elvis, Luis & Tito did excellent painting & some carpentry. They were knowledgeable & did a superior job.Ariel was the handyman & electrician. He communicated our options well and did a great job.Yanelis & her husband were the cleaners. There was a lot of dust even in places that had been secured with plastic film. They were superior. They worked hard & did an incredibly complete cleaning. We were impressed & very happy with the project!
I called Paul Davis Restoration and that is when I spoke to Joe Jarrells. He was always very professional, on time (sometimes even early) and called to let me know he was on the way. He worked with me and explained everything and answered all questions to make sure I understood the area of concern since I had a mold problem. He was patient and very honest and informed me of what truly needed to be done. I appreciate him and enjoyed having him as the person that came out to inspect my home.
I guess my job wasnt big enough for them. So rather than declining they never got back to me. All because I was letting my brother handle the rebuild.
I’ve heard of people having bad experiences with contractors, but Paul Davis came highly recommended from our insurance company, and seemed very professional when they came to sell us.The staff at PD are nice, but the project manager only shows up to sell, not to actually manage. The scheduler is your main contact. That is not ideal, but could work if there were no problems. They hired Hernandez Granite to fabricate our kitchen counters. Hernandez came to measure but didn’t make a template of existing counters. The installed the expensive quartzite with the sink off center, and the other areas of countertop all had varying lip overhangs. One piece of slab was installed so the grain didn’t flow in same direction.I asked to have someone from PD be at my home when Hernandez came to remove miscut slab (sink area) because Hernandez employees/owners don’t speak English to me, and brush off my questions. They made a mess attempting to cut back the uneven overhangs, didn’t even cover floor with tarp to protect it from their dropping tools.I was told they were buying a new slab (to match one now installed in other half of kitchen), and again asked for a PD rep to be here. He was here at the beginning, but not to see that Hernandez didn’t actually get a new slab, but glued old slab pieces together and thought I wouldn’t notice.I told PD that Hernandez was not to work on my project any more. Period. They found a new piece of stone and sent a new company to measure. This company left a razor blade on our bathroom sink.New company coming to remove old counter and install new one. I take whole day off, was told it would take 5 hours. I open door and one man says, “Hi, we’re here from Hernandez Granite.” The other guy tries to shush him. Clearly he blew it. On the side of their truck they put a magnet sign over Hernandez name.Hire a contractor you can trust, not Paul Davis.
THEY ARE EXTREMELY WELL ORGANIZED AND ARE NEAT AND CLEAN. GREAT PEOPLE.EVER MEMBER OF THE TEAM IS POLITE!!! FROM THE FIRST VISIT THEY TOOK OVER AND THEY TRY TO SOOTHE THE BAD PROBLEM. THEY ARE AVAILABLE FOR DISCUSSION OF THE RESOLUTION TO THE DAMAGE DAY OR NIGHT. WHAT GREAT PEOPLE.
Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Tampa was recommended by the Insurance field adjuster himself, so I decided to take a chance to fix the damage to my home using their service. So, from the initial damage evaluation to the final repairs, the various teams from Paul Davis worked in cohesion and made sure that every damaged area have been replaced or repaired like new to my utmost satisfaction. All this in reasonable amount of time. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and families while using their service in the future as well. Thanks Paul Davis.
Thank you to the entire crew for all of your hard work. Andres Carvajal and Robert Blowers I truly appreciate all of your patience and understanding during what has been the most trying times of my life. Knowing you were handling the details truly made this experience a very positive one.
Andres at Paul Davis is AWESOME! Great at helping us pick Tile for our bathroom remodel. Andres is kind, professional and a great communicator. He even responded to my text on a Sunday evening. Very happy customer.
I am so happy with the job that Paul Davis Restoration did for us. They were so professional! We could depend on them to be where they said they were going to be when they said they were going to be there. They also did what they said they were going to do. They always delivered quality work even if it meant trying until it came out right. Our project manager, Andres Carvajal, was delightful to have working with us. He made the job so much easier because he was so supportive and understanding of our situation. He stayed organized and kept us informed. He is a great asset to this company.
Ask for Andres - he was great identifying what work needed to be done, gave me great estimate on timing to complete, and juggled all the various contractors and punch list items with aplomb. He stayed in constant communication, and was responsive when issues came up. Overall great experience.
Came to the rescue when the wet ceiling fell down and did excellent job of coordinating with the insurance company as well as the renovation.
PaulDavis did an outstanding job returning my kitchen to usability after a serious mold issue. It required ripping out cabinets and countertops down to drywall. Compared to other estimates of downtime I received I was amazed at how quickly the work was done. They are efficient, competent, professional. They are very customer-service oriented.
We had water damage in our kitchen and bathroom due to a leaking pipe. Paul Davis worked closely with our insurance company to fix everything and even made it look better than before. I was amazed at what they accomplished. Our project manger, Andres, was fantastic and was able to calmly assist us through this difficult situation. The workers brought in were all respectful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to refer anybody to Paul Davis and Andres. They did us good!
We had roof leaks and had to submit an insurance claim to cover it. We ended up needing a new roof. Paul Davis company worked closely with our insurance, submitting the many documents and estimates. The process took a long time, but once they got approval they worked efficiently, neatly, and were very pleasant during the whole process. Tyler and Robert coordinated the various aspects of the job and kept us informed. Juan, of Avatar Roofing, and his crews did an amazing job, which was admired by many of our neighbors. Henry, Gus, Nelson, Leo, the painters, and Sammy and his partners on the roof were all so polite and great at their jobs. Thank you to all!
UPDATE * They have redeemed themselves by assisting us in finding out the manufacturer of a certain cabinet we have. And, the owner Darren seems genuinely concerned about the problems I pointed out, especially with my 2019 experience with them.We have rectified that problem since then. is what he told me and I do believe him.Below is a slightly edited version of my 2019 experience with them.***************************First experience with them was in 2019 when our insurance company brought them here to mitigate a leak in our master bathroom. The insurance company had sent a different company to start when the next day, Paul Davis calls and says they have taken over the claim. They were very non-communicative as to the process. Before the water mitigation was done, their repair side called and tried to push us to get everything fixed with them without even knowing the facts or giving us a price. We wanted to get an estimate of what repairs and remodeling that bath would be. They told us they would not give us a price until we SIGNED A CONTRACT with them.*** They have since changed their policy on this *******************************We picked someone else.2020 experience did not start out great, but was rectified and Darren, their owner was instrumental in helping out. Thank you
Absolutely THE BEST quality, service and attention to details ! Wonderful company to work with..Would recommend them to ALL
This is a top notch professional company. Every interaction with their staff and representatives has been superior.
Their subcontractor didnt close a permit properly and now its blocking me from selling my house!!!
Had a car go through our bedroom wall in the middle of the night . Within hours after calling Paul Davis Restoration Gerold Murray was out with his team building a support wall! My project manager Andres Carvajal was outstanding. Listen to my ideas and ramblings. All subcontractors were professional and listen to all my concerns. Angela Ferrin my inside contact was a pleasure to deal with. Kept me in the loop on the finance side of this adventure. My bathroom is incredible! Thank you Thank you. Kate Rouse
Outstanding! Thank you Tito and Marquese you both were friendly and efficient ! I will recommend you two and your company to everyone ! You both did a great job and your customer service skills rock !
Pleasure to work with Paul Davis.
Recommended by my insurance company for a bathroom restoration. We took the opportunity for some upgrades. Plenty of choices provided during the planning process, almost too many. Communication was good throughout the process. Paul Davis Restoration did everything in their power to get the job done as quickly as possible, without sacrificing quality work. Any unexpected bumps encountered were handled by them without additional cost to us. Very satisfied with the results. Would definitely hire them again.
Paul Davis (Tampa office) did an outstanding job on my home remodel! We had a fire in our kitchen, and they handled every aspect of putting our home not only back together but more beautiful than we could imagine! Mark from Paul Davis was out at my home the next day and was professional and understanding, and had a project manager on the job immediately. The entire project was scoped, detailed descriptions and a timeline provided. Andreas was my project manager and did a fantastic job managing all aspects from timelines, plumbers, electricians, painters, demolition...you name it. He made great suggestions that were low cost that made a big difference in the overall look and functionality. He was honest and gave it to me straight and it was so nice to be able to bounce ideas off of him knowing he has seen and completed so many jobs. They finished earlier than anticipated! We were so impressed with their work that we also used them to update some other areas of our home as well. They basically gutted the entire kitchen and made it look like model home! I highly recommend! My kitchen is beautiful!!!
Paul Davis Restoration of Tampa helped us get our home restored after a pipe broke in our bathroom and flooded two bedrooms and the bathroom. They completed the job quickly and professionally and kept us informed throughout the process. So happy to work with this company and highly recommend them! All staff members were helpful, courteous and professional. Thanks Paul Davis!!
Had a great experience working with Mark McComeskey and Andres Carvajal!
Paul Davis contracted a pretty extensive remodel to my home. Mark and Jason were outstanding throughout the entire project. They followed up and through on a daily basis, making sure we were happy with the process and level of quality they were delivering. Paul Davis employs the best trades in the business. Very courteous, punctual, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Paul Davis to any of my friends and family for remodeling or restoration work.
I was surprised at how quickly the folks at Paul Davis started and completed my mold remediation along with several other minor projects and a thorough cleaning. The finished work was top-notch and they were kind enough to take care of a couple extra things while here. They communicated with me throughout the project about what to expect and they left my townhome spotless. Highly recommended.

Our home sustained tremendous damage from a simple broken toilet hose while we were on vacation. When looking for a restoration company to make the repairs, I met with 4 different contractors. By far, Mark M. was not only the most knowledgeable, competent and professional, he was also compassionate. He never pressured or rushed me to sign a contract. He was helpful throughout the entire process working with my Insurance Company and acting as my advocate. My project manager, Jason B. did an amazing job rebuilding the entire downstairs of our home. The work that Jason did truly transformed our home to be more beautiful than it had been before. The difference is amazing. Jason went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with all the work done and then some. In addition, Angela organized the complete pack out of our home. The team that came in were incredible. Everything was perfectly packed and labeled in record time. To top off my experience, after my insurance company dropped me for the high claim, Angela was able to connect me with a new Insurance company when I thought I had been denied by all but Citizens. I am very grateful for Paul Davis and all their hard work.
“I cannot say or thank you enough for the team that was sent to me after my neighbors tree fell on my roof, causing leaking in my backroom ceiling and of course, problems going back & forth with an insurance company to get things completed for over a year! If it were not for the insurance company, the Paul Davis team wouldve had my back room put back together quickly! BIG kudos go out to Mr. Robert Blowers, who never stopped checking in and reassuring me, and making sure he was doing everything he could to figure out the unique problems I was experiencing with my roof/ceiling and put my mind at ease. Here is an excerpt of what I emailed the supervisor, Tyler Davis: I absolutely adore Robert...he is calm, professional, very polite and always checked in with me through this long process to see how we were doing and to reassure me. If I ever need your services again, I am going to personally ask for him! This is a guy that will go above and beyond the call of duty in order to make the customer happy and get the job done! Mark (Gill) is the bomb! He can fix anything and is incredibly adept! A very hard worker. Steve did a fantastic job with putting the ceiling back just the way it was! The painters (3 hispanic guys) were outstanding! Havent seen Tony (Collins) in a little while, but he stands out in my mind, as well...very professional and reassuring, as well. Even Angie Ferrin in Customer Service has been amazing! Thank you so much Tyler for everything! I cant imagine how crazy it gets for you all sometimes, but it has to be worth it when you make your customers happy. When that tree fell on my roof (2nd one in 2 years), and then the back room began to leak everywhere with the ceiling looking like it was going to fall through, I was pretty nervous to tell you the truth. As a single mom with so much responsibility living in this (big) old home, you guys really gave me solace and helped me get through it. THANKS SO MUCH ~ Sherry Tattersall„
Paul Davis is the finest contractor I ever dealt with. They are first class from top to bottom.
Paul Davis Tampa well deserves the 5 star rating for restoring my kitchen after a leaking kitchen sink ruined my flooring and cabinets. It was a very stressful situation and I dreaded having to live through a restoration project. The Paul Davis crew worked quickly, professionally, and helped deal with the insurance company requirements. My brother has some mental health issues and usually stays in his room when anyone comes over. He was very stressed out since he doesn’t like anyone touching his things. When the ladies arrived to pack us up in preparation of the restoration, he watched them like a hawk. They were so kind to him; they even got him to converse with them! He asked me to order pizza so he could eat lunch with them! All in all everyone on the Paul Davis crews made the kitchen restoration an easy transition. They came, did what they said needed to be done, kept me up to date on their schedule and progress. Everyone tells me my kitchen looks awesome too!
I had the chance to use this company service recently, and I found their service excellent and extremely professional. I was dealing with Miss Angela Ferrin, which I can admit that she is the best.Angela made the whole process easy and kept me informed with all the details. I would recommend her services to all of my friends and anyone need restoration. Thank you guys so much. Special thanks to Angela.
The customer service was outstanding, very timely, and responsive. After a fire, we always felt we were in good hands....none of our concerns were treated as trivial. Special kudos to Andres and Angela on the Paul Davis team in Tampa. Thank you, we love our gorgeous new screen porch!
I had a sinkhole and was referred to Paul Davis Restoration by my brother who also had one and used this company (his was in Hudson). He had glowing reviews, so I called the Tampa team.I was immediately aware that I would choose them after interviewing others because of the straightforward professional manner they presented along with a sincere approach to making my home what it should be after the drilling and filling.Their team of workers were so very kind and thoughtful, paid close attention to detail and made my efforts of checking up so much easier. It was clear that they take pride in their work-something not easily found these days.I probably drove Jason, the project manager, a bit batty with all my texts, but his approach was always upbeat, positive, and can do. I liked that.Leon struck me as a person who wanted a dream come true for his clients, and to that I say, YES!They did a fabulous job, I know that any time I can count on them and I will. My gratitude goes out to you all for a complete, better than anticipated, professional job so well done. Thanks!
We recently had a broken water connection in our guest bathroom that flooded about two thirds of our home. We vacuumed up the water and called our insurance company. They sent Paul Davis Restoration to help us.At first we thought there would be little or no problem, but the folks at Paul Davis assessed the damage and worked with our insurance company. They were able to identify many more areas that need to be fixed than we originally noticed. They handled all the repairs and worked with our insurance company. When the project was finished our out of pocket cost to put our place back together was our deductible!Working with Paul Davis was easy. The took care of everything. Each tradesman and crew they sent was a true professional while providing top quality work. Any time there was a question or a problem arose, it was addressed and corrected to our satisfaction within 24 hours. Paul Davis Restoration turned a rather daunting situation, under the circumstances, into a pleasurable experience. I highly recommend them for any restoration or remodeling work you may need.
Paul Davis Restoration of Tampa was a Godsend. We had a water slab leak and they worked directly with us and our insurance company to quickly assess, repair, and restore our home. From almost the moment we spoke with our insurance company and selected Paul Davis, we felt confident we had made the right choice. The Paul Davis Water Mitigation team responded right away and quickly assessed the damage and source of the leak. We didnt really have a known plumber at the time but we certainly do now. The plumbing experts recommended by Paul Davis (Tampa Bay Plumbing) were just that...expert. The 16 inch slab proved to be no contest for them as they quickly and efficiently got to the source of the problem. Unfortunately the deterioration of our piping prevented an easy repair so our insurance company elected to re-pipe the entire house and the plumbers completed the effort in short order. Upon completion of the re-pipe, the restoration group followed and the flooring, dry wall, tile, carpentry, and painting folks were nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, every single worker from Paul Davis was respectful, courteous, and completely professional. To a man, they were each experts in their craft. When the occasion arose to contact the office, the staff were equally impressive, always quickly locating the individual we wished to speak with or addressing our concerns themselves. Our Project Manager worked the entire effort flawlessly, always ensuring our needs were met and that the workmanship was top-notch. We are extremely impressed by the overall efforts of the collective Paul Davis Restoration team and though we certainly hope we never have another need for restoration we will definitely look to Paul Davis first for any future remodeling needs. They are without a doubt, the best of the best.
I was very pleased with the work done by Paul Davis Restoration, for two jobs, a dishwasher fire, and later sewage backup in the lower level of a split-level house. They were patient with me, in working around two out-of-town trips that came up. The people in the office were helpful and the work-man were courteous and efficient, as was Andres. Angie was like a sweet friend. Thanks to all of you.
The Paul Davis Company were very professional and did a wonderful job. I needed a new roof and my insurance company uses this company. I was impressed with the quickness of completing the roof once I got the go ahead from the insurance company. My husband and I work full time and Paul Davis Co. were very accommadating with scheduling appointments, etc. The crew were also very professional, worked very hard, long full days and cleaned up the yard after each day . When the roof was completed there was no sign a new roof had been just installed. Excellent workmanship. I give Paul Davis Restoration of Tampa, 5 stars.
I was referred to Paul Davis Restoration of Tampa due to water damage in my kitchen from a dishwasher leak. My kitchen had to be redone. I cannot say enough good things about the service I received from them all. All were courteous, punctual, always followed up with me, very responsive, their work was outstanding, quick to answer my questions, respectful and cleaned up every day. Mark McComeskey was my first contact and he was very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Everyone I dealt with, Shawn, Chuck, Betsy and Jason I felt took a personal interest in my situation and I always felt like I was in good hands. The subcontractors were also GREAT!!!!!!!! Please give Paul Davis your consideration. I recommend them with complete confidence and have no doubt that they will measure up to your expectations
As a Realtor I am used to working with vendors and tradesmen regularly. I was concerned going into this current project in my home, but was thrilled with the professionalism, timeliness and quality of their work. I couldnt ask for better service. I HIGHLY recommend them!
Paul Davis, did an outstanding job with the restoration and reconstruction of our Master Bath after a slab leak. Andres and his team were fast, efficient and very professional. They helped us with a new design, colors and tile choices that we absolutely love. We have used other restoration companies before, but I wont use anyone but Paul Davis.
Happy Customer! The contractors that put our house back together did an excellent job. The attention to detail was much appreciated and I always felt like my concerns were heard and addressed. Great job!
A tree feel on my house, the roof had to be replaced. My insurance recommended Paul Davis Restoration of Tampa. They were very good about communicating with me and repaired my roof in a timely manner. I highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration.
We had mold in 2 bedrooms and middle bath. Initially, our insurance company hired another restoration company. After 6 weeks of nothing, we fired them. The insurance company then sent Mark from Paul Davis. Once we started working with people from Paul Davis things went very quickly. In addition to the middle bath, we decided to renovate the back bathroom at the same time. To complicate matters our daughter was getting married while renovations were going on. I’ll never forget Manny installing the sinks and faucets several hours before guest were to arrive for the rehearsal dinner. He was wonderful! In fact, the whole team from; project management (Jason is great), mold remediation specialist, painters, plumber, and Rebecca and her team of packers were amazing. Everyone is kind, courteous and very flexible. These are exactly the kind of people you want working in your home. Our new bathrooms are modern and beautiful. After the wedding they put in this gorgeous flooring. In all, we were only out of our house for 2 nights. Jason, I especially love the shower floor. Next, we will renovate the master bath and kitchen with Paul Davis. Can’t wait to get started.
We had just finished remodeling tour house when the washing machine water faucets broke off the wall. Paul Davis completely restored pretty much every room downstairs. Cant tell anything ever happened!
Terrific experience! Andres and his crew were efficient, professional, and, took all of our preferences into consideration and transformed our disaster into a beautiful living space!
One stop shopping for remodeling, restoration and repairs. They do it all and are very detail oriented!
After my home flooded, USAA recommended Paul Davis Restoration to mitigate the damage and conduct the repairs. Im so glad I took their recommendation and used them as my contractor. They have an amazing team that went above and beyond to make sure my house was better than before. From the office staff to the skilled craftsmen, they are a truly professional company that puts the customer first. They kept me informed every step of the way and helped me with some upgrades / changes I made to the plans. I couldnt be happier with the results... they have now earned a customer for life.
We had a minor mold issue in an upstairs area. Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling (PDRR) of Tampa was sent out by our insurance carrier and they were very prompt. The Agent did a thorough analysis and listened to our concerns and provided a quote very quickly. Once decisions were made on material selections and they had arrived, both PDRR and their subs were quick to provide a quality job in an efficient manner. The carpeting and trim work looks brand new. We would highly recommend their services for any type of restoration and remodeling.
This company was very professional starting from our pre-hire interviews and very helpful in determining a course of action for the remediation needed. We interviewed several companies and were glad that we chose Paul Davis. They were very good at cleaning up after their workers, although some of the subs were not as fastidious. We corresponded mostly through texts with the project manager, which proved to be very efficient; although I would have like to use the phone sometimes. They were reliable with their responses and arrival and departure commitments. Overall they did an excellent job with minimal inconveniences allowing us to remain in our home during the work. I would not hesitate to hire them for future work and would recommend them to those considering hiring Paul Davis.
Chuck and his crew at Paul Davis were very professional and did an excellent job with my home restoration. I would highly recommend Paul Davis and if you could get Chuck to work on your home you will not be disappointed.
Paul Davis repaired my kitchen after a leak damaged our floor and cabinets. The project manager and contractors were professional, prompt and did great work restoring and improving our home. Since Paul Davis works with my insurance company (ASI) often, our claims went through without a problem. It was the best experience someone could have, given the circumstances.
We are in the preliminary stages of having water damage repaired on our town home. We met with Sean at the Tampa location to get an idea of new flooring and carpeting for our place. Sean was extremely helpful and patient with our questions. We look forward to having Paul Davis do the restoration work, and am confident we will be highly satisfied.Post Restoration update:Took a little longer than we had hoped (bt thats normal in this industry). Part of the reason was the use of a different specialty company for all facets of the work. The laminate flooring product used to replace the flood damaged was a superior grade, and the carpet was a definite upgrade. Additionally, all woodwork upstairs/downstairs was competed re-painted. Now, this is partially due to great insurance, but P.D. went to bat for best the ins. would pay for.Highly recommended.
From the project manager to the people in the office, everyone at Paul Davis was responsive, friendly and quick-to-answer any questions I had throughout the entire process. Not only was their customer service great, but the work was superb! I couldn’t be happier with the results after the repairs from water damage to the kitchen and bath. I highly recommend them.
I have used Paul Davis Restoration several times for flooding that has occurred in my home. They are reliable, professional and I am very happy with the outcome of my home. I recommend them highly!
What a horrible experience I had with this company. Let me start by saying I previously used the Paul Davis in St. Pete for a home I had water damage in, and the process went very smooth so I decided to use the Tampa franchise for a home in Tampa. The Paul Davis in Tampa is a different story. Very bad communication throughout the project. They forgot to order materials, and when they did, they ordered the wrong amount. I was also lied to on multiple occasions and they provided little to poor help with picking out materials or providing samples/options. Scheduling was always delayed and very last minute. The project dragged out 3 times longer than it should have been. Would not recommend.
Great customer service, very quick response, highly skilled. You wont be disappointed!
We had something in an upstairs bathroom leak several times to the downstairs. We have Nationwide Insurance, and they immediately had Paul Davis Restoration on the job. They started out like gangbusters, remediating the water damage. The insurance adjuster worked out his plans and we were off. The sub contractors were pretty nice and they started at 9 and were done at 2 or 3. I was off on medical leave, so no worries. After a few weeks of on and off work, they missed a couple of appointments and I was ready to go back to work. The job wasnt finished, because they missed their appointments. Soon after I went back to work they were wanting me to take time off, so they could make up the work they missed. Well, thats a no go. I dont work, I dont get paid. Now they have to finish on my time. They can come any evening, and all day on weekends. Month after month passes, my house isnt finished. Now its been 5 months and they are finally getting the work done. Because the insurance company checks, in my possession, are going to be void soon. There have been several other subs, who have changed plans at the nth hour leaving us hanging, which buggers up our plans. Looking through the list of things the insurance company has written checks for, there are things they have never done, yet they were paid for it. Insurance Fraud?? Now the kicker...They replaced our laminate floors, and in the same spot that was originally damaged from leaking water, the floor is coming up again. What a farce, I am not sure whatever was originally leaking is even fixed!I have spoken with my Nationwide rep, and told him to save his customers from this nightmare. Reading the other reviews here makes me wonder if they ever even looked for mold when this all started 6 months ago. All in all I am pretty disappointed. I gave 2 stars because it started out well.
This was the biggest Joke. Guy couldnt even find the mold in my bathroom after I told him exactly where it was, he told me it wasnt there. I have a plumber, engineer, and myself who have all seen the mold. (the first two were hired companies by me) Dont waste your time with these losers, they are hired by insurance companies (they were sent in from my insurance company as an outside professional) and their company continues to get the insurance contracts because they cant find any mold (Idiots) when do your morals kick in!! ?? You are screwing people out of insurance claims 24/7. Thankfully I am not an idiot and we hired another company which whom found the mold and we are moving forward.PS, he was very impolite and disrespectful, bad business altogether.
Excellent service! Everyone was courteous and the quality of the work was amazing. I highly recommend this service. Thank you!
After a plumbing leak and at the recommendation of our insurance company we contacted Paul Davis. Mark McComeskey, their estimator, arrived quickly and provided a speedy and comprehensive assessment. We had three companies visit. One was minimally responsive, the other seemed unreliable, so after our professional handling by Mark we chose Paul Davis. Not only did we get professional service, we got an active advocate in our dealings with the insurance company. We got timely and expert construction and are grateful how they and their workmen made what was an unhappy and inconvenient accident more tolerable.
I found both water clean up team and restoration team excellent. My three rooms look brand new after they were finished with everything. Shout outs to Luis, Andres, Angelica, Beyke, Tito, Elvis, and both Roberts.
Excellent contractors for remodeling, not just restoration work! Very reliable, quick to respond and put together one team to do our floors so that it could be done faster since I have young children.
AAA recommended Paul Davis Restoration and it was a pleasure working with everyone there through the process. I had water damage and had to have more than 1000 sq ft of laminate replaced and half my house repainted. This included moving all of my furniture to a pod, taking down and rehanging curtains and pictures. Everything was taken care of and replaced just as it was. Mark, Jason and Angie were always so helpful and quick to respond. I even had the opportunity to meet the painting team and they were meticulous and accommodating. Paul Davis Restoration made what could have been a very difficult situation seem like a very tolerable and stress-free minor inconvenience.
The representatives of Paul Davis Recovery were all very courteous, prompt, knowledgeable and capable of fixing my water intrusion problems. The work performed was outstanding and the end result just super!
Paul Davis stands at the top of the list for performance and customer support. Every member of the team was professional and cooperative. From the initial Adjustor visit thru furniture removal, damage mitigation, restoration, cleanup and return of our furniture we realized that PD had our concerns as their concerns. The cooperation of Paul Davis with our Insurance provider was seamless. Mark, Rebecca, Shawn, Angie, Thanks for a job well done
I had Paul Davis to help with sinkhole remodeling. Work was so so.. but when they were called back to remedy things that had been done wrong, I spent call after call and nothing was done with a broken fan. Now I am seeing floor covering in garage that is lifting and the back patio is cracked. I had several lights that were fixed in a short time but other things have been left undone. In fact things are still not done. After 6 months. Next step is the Better Business Bureau and 8 on your side.
At 3AM my son woke us up saying our kitchen was flooded...it turned out to be our entire kitchen entry hallway, and into our dining room. The dishwasher was running non stop and the water was pouring out. I stopped the dishwasher cycle (turns out our drain line had broken we found out later) and two hours, four mop buckets and three shop vac containers drained later we finally had the standing water out. The tile floors seemed fine, but our solid oak hardwood floors squished with every step...there was absolutely no way they were getting saved. In the morning I called USAA who immediately sent Paul Davis to remediate the water, they arrived literally within two hours of calling. What they found was worse than expected. The drywall had soaked up the water under the baseboards, which I had no way of knowing. Our kitchen cabinets had soaked up water from the floor up and were wet underneath. We already knew the floors were toast. Floorboards were removed in all of the affected areas and holes cut into the walls to allow airflow. The remediation was pretty loud...five large fans and two industrial dehumidifiers running non stop for five days. PDR was there every day to check the moisture level in the walls and we were quite relieved when they told us they were dry.Our USAA Adjustor called and asked if we would be interested in having Paul Davis handle the entire restoration, not really knowing any different I said yes...man am I glad I did.We met with our Project Manager who was incredibly helpful and explained the process amazingly well. Honestly I hadn’t fully understood just how invasive the process was going to be, but literally every step was explained. The process started on time and I immediately noticed something pretty incredible. Every single group of contractors that came to the house was A) On time and B) Incredibly professional, and C) Very talented. The speed at which everything was completed was like clockwork, at times we had different groups of contractors working at the same time, others one group would leave and the next would arrive. Never did we have a “no show” or even a late start...which was super important for missing work while work was being completed. Communication by PDR Project Management was flawless. Our end result was nothing short of spectacular. We ended up having to replace our cabinets as well as flooring...the entire kitchen was essentially gutted and rebuilt from the ground up...and it was amazing.I would NEVER hesitate to recommend Paul Davis Restoration for anything...they were amazing to work with. I’m so glad USAA suggested them to us!
What seemed like a wonderful restoration by Paul Davis Restoration (PDR) (wherever they were located when they were coming to my house) after a water leak in my house, turns out to be a very bad completion. Instead of going with the original measurement and dimensions of my original upper and lower cabinets, they used measurements of lesser degrees. Before the flood, I was able to fit all of my kitchenware in my cabinets without ANY difficulty. As I emptied the packed boxes of all my kitchenware after PDR left, I was no longer able to fit my kitchenware as I once did. Ive had to move some of my items into the garage, which is not particularly appreciated. When they left, I gave them an excellent rating with my insurance. Im removing that rating here to an unsatisfactory one. If I ever have to replace any of my cabinets again due to a water leak/flood, I will not be using PDR. Mind you, the cabinets do look nice -- from the outside -- but I am dismayed with the inside of all my cabinets.
I am sharing this as a caution to anyone considering this company NOT to hire them. They seldom respond to attempts at contact especially once they have been paid. Our business primarily worked with Vice President Trey Sullivan related to the repair of a water intrusion problem in one of our offices. After paying them a couple thousand dollars to fix this problem during dry season, the problem persisted immediately once rainy season returned. When asked to return to address the ongoing problem, it has taken 2 months for Trey to get back to us with an answer. Rather than acknowledging that they failed to assess and correct the problem the first time, he falsely claims that the first fix was only expected to be a temporary fix and that this was conveyed or this should have been something that we implicitly knew. Now, he is now proposing that we pay approximately $13,000 for a more permanent fix. Highly questionable business practices!
The Paul Davis Restoration of Tampa team was assigned by my USAA Insurance Company to reconstruct and repair my kitchen sink cabinet area. That area had sustained significant water and structural damage due to faulty kitchen sink plumbing. Mark did a great job documenting the damage and sending the repair estimate to USAA for approval. Shawn did a great job assembling a team to reconstruct and replace the entire kitchen sink lower cabinet area and subsequent painting team to repaint the kitchen sink and kitchen cabinet areas as well as the kitchen walls. The Paul Davis Team worked in concert with a Kitchen Countertop team that I contracted with separately to remove and replace all of my kitchen countertops and backsplashes with Granite Stone. The end result was fantastic. The project was completed when Robert came to my house to make some minor adjustments to my kitchen cabinets. Robert completed a very thorough quality assurance review of my kitchen project and discovered a couple of areas that needed some additional attention. Robert did a fantastic job touching up all of these areas. All in all, the Paul Davis Tampa TEAM did a great job. This is the third project that they have completed in my home over the past several years and, as always, they delivered both a great product and great customer service. I highly recommend this company/team to do your home restoration and remodeling projects.

I guess I already get this people one star but to be honest with you I wouldnt even give Them that they have been the worst company I could have picked unfortunately my insurance was the one that made the contract with them which was very sad because they paid them the whole entire money and they never finish the job its been between four to six months for a project that should have taken less than one month according to their promise they came over to our home and they checked all the work promise that they will come back and fix all the broken cabinets that they have put and many other damage they still havent come back and we still waiting this is so frustrating because our insurance company already paid them we went with the new insurance company because of that reason and they told us that they were very sorry but they dont use Paul David please be very careful when you choose a company do not choose this one you will not be happy I guarantee you that I have so many information and text messages from your management telling us how they have bigger projects than us and the million-dollar projects were more important than a 25,000 job unfortunately theres nothing we can do please be very careful I do not want anyone to have to go through this
I am very thankful that I chose Paul Davis Restoration Company to take care of the extensive water damage I had in my house due to a broken water supply line in the kitchen. Mark McComeskey was the first person to come to my rescue. From the beginning, he assured me all would be fine and he would handle everything for me, thus turning what could have been a nightmare into a less stressful situation. Mark was very professional, competent and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable working with him. He was an excellent advocate for me when working with my insurance company. It was so nice to have someone you could trust completely. That was Mark. Even after it was time to turn me over to the project manager, Mark always continued to check in occasionally to make sure everything was going ok. Going that extra mile meant a lot. Working with him was a pleasure. Mark is truly an asset to PDR.I was a little concerned when Mark had to turn me over to the project manager. Shawn was my project manager. He was was outstanding and also very professional and competent. Shawn kept me informed and saw that everything ran smoothly and on schedule. He is an excellent project manager and as they say, has a great bedside manner. He is an asset to PDR.Working with Mark and Shawn was a pleasant experience. Communication is so important when having to go through what felt like a major renovation project, but Mark and Shawn exhibited the excellent PR skills needed to make you feel confident you could trust them and were in good hands.I also want to mention Armando and Santos. They both do an excellent job and are a pleasure to work with. Armando and Santos take pride in their work and make sure you are a happy customer.Thank you to Rebecca and her team for a smooth packing and unpacking. Great job ladies!I may not have remembered everyones name, so thank you to all of the PDR team who worked in my house.Last, but not least, Darren, Thank you for everything!
Paul Davis is ran by Canadian who told me he is here only for one purpose, to rip off as many people in the Tampa area so he can move back there with as much money as he can. Good luck dealing with these CROOKS !!!!!!!
One of the best restoration team eve t
Talked to one of their coordinators to get repairs done, said they would call back after checking with their project managers. Made three calls and left messages over the last 3 days and no response.
Would not recommend this company!!!! Communication awful and they are not honest!!!
Was a great company to work with
Honest, great work
No commitment
I did not get the services I was hoping for
Excellent company to repair housing. Workers are professionals in their work. My family and I are very happy.
I have called them twice, the first was a small service in the main bathroom and the bedroom, El Segundo was quite a big damage when I had a leak from the bathroom to La Cocina ... I called them and they were the same day, they sent to dry the place, they started with the budget, they contacted the insurance, they did ALL the procedures, really very professional in every way, Angela Ferrin my project manager, EXCELLENT ...I recommend them if you are looking for a company it would be, with high knowledge in insurance companies and how to deal with them. The work was spectacular, they installed a new kitchen for me!
