Brought my old Onkyo tape recorder back to life. Adam is great, nice guy and knows his stuff. He can also fix guitar amps so I might bring my amp to him soon. Highly recommended! A+++

My Pioneer reel to reel broke, and I love this deck, so I wanted it repaired. Like any good repair shop, he is backed up with work. I was told 14 days to get the estimate, that’s how busy he is. I really didn’t mind waiting, as broken equipment cannot be used anyway. After i received my estimate, it maybe took 5 days to complete the repair. So far I am happy with the work. Aside from repairing what was broken, he also performed regular maintenance on the deck. If you have a piece of vintage gear that is in need of repair, I would trust this shop.

Adams did a wonderful job on my Onkyo TA-2048 Tape Deck - 1986. Now I can record my metal tapes with 99.9% fidelity. I recommend them to everyone if you want to revive some antique audio equipment. Thanks !

Their webpage say they fix espresso coffee machines and they don’t.

Wont tell you upfront how much its gonna cost you. Expect to pay upwards of 200-300

Poor service, has an attitude on the phone, lists that tv repairs are done on website while not offering them, doesn’t list hours on door of business nor is he their during the hours listed on google

Disappointed. Gentleman accepted my 1979 stereo receiver and $50 to do diagnosis of issue. Waited 10days then called to see if ready. It was. He said it works nothing wrong with it but it gets hot and its output less than specs indicate. So ask why is it getting hot - he doesnt know he says maybe my speakers make it hot.He did not write down receiver issue. He did not write done any tech data of diagnostic work performed for customer.On top of what I consider a subpar effort to help me, when I got home I noticed a 1/8 inch gouge on the on/off push button.If you go there (I wont) take good close pics of your stuff.......

Adams Electronics is the best. Adam brought my Nakamichi BX-300 back to a state of brand new. It sounds amazing. Dropped it off at his Tampa location and I had it back in less than a week. I’ve never had anything repaired that quick. The man really is a pro. Adam is the real deal a master at repairing vintage stereo equipment. I will never use anyone else.

Im revising my original review which was admittedly left while I was frustrated and angry. After having a piece of vintage hi-fi repaired and re-capped, a new glitch developed which caused one channel to cut out intermittently. It took a couple passes to get it all sorted out and running right and its running great now. To his credit, Adam explained that it was a very unusual problem that is almost never seen and thus took a while to isolate. He stuck with the process though, never took issue or attitude with me (even when I think he thought I was crazy) and was able to find the issue and correct it. While it may have been a trying process at times, vintage equipment can be like that sometimes and Adam proved himself to be very professional.--------------------Hes a real nice guy but I brought my vintage pioneer amp in for a recap. After spending a lot of money on it, it developed a new glitch. After bringing it back twice, Im tired of dealing with it. Ill pay a new shop to fix it right I guess.

TV 2011 Samsung 8000 series 64” Plasma (with perfect picture)I brought the TV in on a Saturday. I gave Adam a detailed description of the TV’s symptoms and stated as a result the TV powered down to non-responsive after 20 minutes. I told Adam I was not looking to spend $300 – $400 to get it fixed when I can buy a new 65” 4K UHD LED for $450. Adam quoted me $50 for diagnosis and 7-10 days, to me a good price. On Monday he diagnosed a bad power board (overheating), it needed 2 new capacitors and a resistor, a $250 repair, he would repair the board himself. I came to him and asked, why so much $? He told me “That is a little less than I usually charge for plasmas”. HE COULD HAVE TOLD ME THIS BEFORE I BROUGHT THE TV IN. I know there is little labor involved for this fix, he could have had the TV repaired within an hour. I know the man’s got to make a living, but $100 an hour is more than fair for a repair (which is what I would have paid him), $250 is just GREEDY. Why are you basing your charge on an item, not a fair price on a specific repair? Tuesday, I took the TV home and that afternoon had ordered a used power board online from a company in Indiana. $42 + $17.95 shipping FedEx. Thursday the part arrived, I took the back cover off, removed 4 ribbon cable connectors, and 8 screws and installed the replacement in the reverse order, 15 minutes taking my time and the TV works just as good as it ever did.UPDATE 8/25/20The $42 board didnt last & I got a full refund minus $18 shipping. I had another local Electronics repair shop diagnose the TVs original board and turns out the board needed a Digital Chip replaced, cost me $105 to diagnose and replace - a fair price. THIS MEANS ADAMS DIAGNOSIS WAS WRONG. He is either dishonest or incompetent. He ripped me off $50 for a BS diagnosis plus I lost the extra $18 shipping all for nothing

The owner do not take in consideration if the client want paid for all the repair, after he already charge 50.00 just to check what is wrong. Need to be more responsible.

Adam brought my 50 year old vintage amp back to life. Raised it from the dead would be more accurate. Vintage or new...if your electronics are not working ...try Adam! Im glad I did! And I will again.

Really disappointed with the service I received from Adams Electronics on my Jura S8 coffee machine. When I brought it in For service I said that I had taken recently rebuilt the Brew unit which was working great. However, I ran into trouble reattaching the tubes that carry the water and needed expert assistance reconnecting these in the right configuration. He said OK, he wont be able to get to it for a few days and quoted me $75 which I paid and said he would call me in a few days to let me know if there was anything else that needed to be repaired/replaced. A few days later he called me to tell me that after hooking everything back up he was able to make one cup of coffee before it started throwing an S8 error for the brew unit and said I must have done something wrong when I rebuilt it. He then quoted me $420+ to repair which is nearly $100 more than what you can buy a used one for online so obviously I am not going to pay that. When I went to go pick it up he seemed very confused about which Jura coffee maker I was there to pickup. He said he needed time to reassemble it so I came back an hour later to pickup and which point he reiterated that it was getting an S8 error for the new unit and that I must have done something wrong. When I got home and plugged it in I got no errors. I filled up the water tank and went to make a cup of coffee, no errors but I now have all of the water leaking all over the counter instead of flowing through the system and into the cup. All I can figure is he may have confused my unit with someone elses. Thats the only explanation for what has happened. No S8 error as he claimed and the water tubes were obviously not connected as I had requested. How could he have ever made a cup of coffee with this unit if the tubes were still disconnected? I feel like I was ripped off for $75 and he never looked at my coffee maker. When I contacted him to let him know what I was experiencing he didnt address any of my questions about why he said there was an error or how he could have made a cup of coffee with the water tubes disconnected and didnt address the question of what he actually did. This person might be good with amps and stereos but I would not trust him with your high end coffee maker repairs. This is just my opinion based on my experience.

I took an old cassette tape recorder/player in for possible repair. It was looked at quickly and I got a call back the same day with the diagnosis and cost of repair. It was so nice to have such prompt, professional service. Ill definitely go back again if I have need of their service again.

I had a Marantz 250 amplifier that was unable to be fixed at a previous shop Adman had it up and running beautifully in two weeks, even a slight glitch that came afterwards he fixed immediately at no charge. i am very happy with his expertise and service. He now is working on my SAE Mark IV CM amplifier.

If you would like to get your gear fixed right the first time - take it here. They do careful, quality work and fixed my unit even after the manufacturer told me it couldn’t be done.

Brought My Marantz 2330 in for restoration it was ready in a week. Its sounds awesome since I got it back. Thanks Adam! Recommend them 4 anyone with vintage Marantz or other.
