My Mac crashed with a lot of valuable data that was not backed up. The team was very helpful and empathetic of the situation. They were able to rescue the data and offer additional solutions with my pc problems. Needed to have the screen replaced on my iPhone. Very glad I stopped in here. First, the shop is great- very clean and organized- nice sitting / waiting area- you can even sit at the “bar” and watch the techs work through the glass window. Had the pleasure of being taken care of by the manager- Lion. He was extremely helpful and professional. Provided me all my options and possible outcomes. Fixed the problem quickly and correctly. I highly recommend this place for your apple repair needs!

I have triplet 15 yr olds so we are CONSTANTLY having Iphone and Ipad issues. This man, LION is his name (when you see the beard, you know why!) is incredible. He is passionate about what he does and is so informative it is crazy. He does what is right for YOU the customer EVERY time. I have spent some money many times and I have also gone in and when he could have taken advantage of me, he simply helped and sent me on my way. You can be sure if you go here and see LION, you will know the truth of your issue and have a great value to keep your devices going as long as possible. I will never go anywhere else.

I had an issue with my phone and it was on but with a black screen. It was very helpful to talk to Lion who made sure that I went through the insurance that I have from my telephone carrier to help me save money. He was nice enough to let me stay in the shop and troubleshoot calling first my telephone carrier and then Apple support.I had random questions and though he was busy, he still addressed them. Long story short it end up being a software issue and not a hardware issue. I did not need at all a new screen.Although I didn’t procure services, Lion saved me money and if I have issues I would come back.

Sadly my IPhone XS Max became damaged while I was on vacation at the beach (still not sure if it was water damage but more then likely I would assume it was). It would stay on and run very slow for about 5 minutes then power cycle. At that point my biggest concern was to backup my 16k photos/videos because I guess my iCloud hadn’t been back up for almost 2 years (even though I had it set for automatic back up, cmon Apple). But since my phone would power cycle off every 5 minutes it was impossible!!! I was devastated.The next day I met Lion from ihospital. Lion is one of the most kindest people I have ever met. He was very honest with me about what could and could not be done. But he was more then happy to help anyway possible. He did set the expectation with me that it might take some time, which I was very willing to wait. Lion checked in with me every other day with updates. He advised me his colleague Philip would be working over then weekend and he is hoping he would have another take on getting my phone working.And wouldn’t you know, Philip did it!!!!! Lion called me Monday, probably just as excited as I was to tell me the phone has stayed on to be backed up!!! When I went to pick up my phone the price Lion quoted me was still the same. No extra fees or anything. And the price he gave me was very very reasonable in my opinion. I would pay it x3 over to have my photos back.I just want to thank you both so much!!!! I have so many memories on this phone... from my nephews first two years of life, My brothers wedding in California, and my newly rescued kitty’s that mean so much to me.I definitely will be back if anything happens to any of my devices again. I highly recommend coming to ihospital if you are like me and need help with well, getting your life back together! Lol (iPhone life) Thanks again!

With a heavy heart I drove down to the iHospital this afternoon, expecting the worst diagnosis: my iPhone would have to be replaced; but hoping that all I needed was a new battery.20 minutes later I left with a smile on my face. Lion cleaned out the port for me - tested the battery - told me that it still had 86% of life in it and gave me directions on how to service it once a month to keep it working.I noticed he didnt write up a workorder and so decided to buy a new charger which I really needed. When I asked what I owe him, I was told nothing. That he prefers customers to trust him that when they do come back with a problem that needs fixing, they will believe him.Customer service with a smile, like in the old days.Thank you Lion, I will be back when there is a need and will definitely recommend you to any and all my friends.

Brought my 2019 Macbook Air in due to water damage. Spoke with Lion over the phone who was very patient with my speculative questions. I walked in, prepared to be there a while. You could tell Lion enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work. He was smart enough to look up my serial number and saw that I had Apple Care and sent me on my way - saving me hundreds.Although he didnt technically fix my computer, you could tell he would have done everything possible to repair the water damage. Watching his interactions with other customers, I appreciated that he was both realistic with peoples expectations, but was going to do everything he could to help. Will be going here in the future should something happen again.

What a great, honest business. I took my phone in thinking I had cracked the OLED display and needed a new one, a $300 fix. It turns out I had only cracked the tempered glass screen protector and there was no charge for looking at my phone. How refreshing to find an honest business, they could have told me they replaced the display and charged me the $300 and I would never have known. Highly recommend!

Without a doubt, iHospital is the greatest repair shop around in Tampa. I was in and out within an hour with my broken display, Mason couldn’t have been a bigger help. Upon arrival, it was a simple process and the best thing about it: no appointment necessary. I walked in, Mason checked me in, gave me a run down of the process, and went to work. Less than an hour later, I had my flawless working phone back in my possession! Great prices, great accessories, and even greater customer service. I recommend iHospital to anyone and everyone that has any Apple device issues!

Brought a MacBook that I was trying to fix myself but was having problem with the WiFi connector. He said it was damaged he tried to make it connect after a quick adjustment and he was able to connect as much as it could. The team at iHospital South Tampa on Kennedy Blvd need to be recognized for their superlative customer service. They coordinate very closely with the customer, detailing the problem—patiently and informatively I may add—throughout the stages of a repair and always provide a reasonable quote beforehand. My 2011 iMac w new video card installed is now better than when I bought it from Apple—thanks to the attentive and knowledgeable service at the iHospital!I have one request of corporate: advertise widely because had I not carefully read my Google search on local Mac repair shops, I could have missed you guys and gone to someone else!

I was having issues with my phone charging. I went to AT&T and they advised I would need a new phone. I had two options, the first was to go through my insurance and they would ship me a replacement phone for $112.00 or I could pay off my current I Phone 6S ($227.42), pay the taxes and fees for a new I Phone 7 (approximate $50) and get my new phone in my hand that same day. I said let me think it over and when I got back to work I thought maybe I will try iHospital South Tampa location. I went in after work and was greeted immediately upon entering. I was asked what the issue was with my phone. I explained it and the guy behind the counter said give me a few minutes. He came back out about 5 minutes later and said I was good to go. The charging port needed to be cleaned out. I asked how much and he said no charge and to have a great day. I was in complete shock of the outstanding service and the fact that they did it for free was even better. Although I didnt pay for any services rendered I would still highly recommend this location if you have issues with your phone. Kudos to the staff - keep up the excellent service!

I NEED to write this review about Lion, the gentleman who truly performed a miracle on my mobile phone when even Apple did not diagnose it correctly!!! My iphone went dead one morning and it would no longer turn on. I took it to the Apple store where they told me I could either purchase a new one for $600 or file a claim with Assurant since I had insurance. I called Assurant and they informed me that the deductible is $250 but it will take 24 hours to process the claim then after reviewing, if approved, they will overnight me a new phone (total days about 5). I work with international clients so being without my phone for 1 day is hard enough -- so my boyfriend told me to check out iHospital. LION IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, THOROUGH AND HELPFUL. He completely fixed my phone within 2 hours, replaced the motherboard and went step by step explaining what he did to verify the problem and solution. I will go back to Lion for every problem I have with my electronic devices and you should too!!!!!!!!!!!!

We asked him if he could switch the motherboards from my old phone into my son’s phone as my phone had more memory instead of repairing my cracked glass. I took my iPhone 8 Plus into i hospital because the charging port would not work. The person in charge said he could repair it. Paid him and came back that afternoon to pick it up and the home button stopped working properly. It made a loud vibration when you to pressed it. Took it right back inside and he said, “Yeah it’s defective and that’s the way it will be. It’s something defective with the phone.” This was not the problem when I left it. AND he let me walk out the door without saying a word about the vibration with the home button. He said he’d try and fix it and took it back and 30 mins later brought it back and said “Nothing I can do. This is the best it’s gonna get.” I said no, he needed to fix it back to the way it was when I left it. He said he ordered another part to replace the vibration. Once again, he failed to communicate this. A week later I called about the part. Same man answered and said it takes a week to get the part. It had been a week. And he didn’t know when the part would arrive. After I hung up the phone I received a text saying part was in. 😳 Took the phone back in for a 3rd time to repair. Three days later the phone started doing the loud vibration when pressing the home button now much worseI I took it back in. Nothing they could do and he couldn’t give me my money back $99! Seriously??!! They made it worse and were unwilling to acknowledge this and at least put the old part back in the phone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! GO ELSEWHERE!

Ive been a customer to I hospital for a few years. Tom and Robert are very talented Mac technicians. I had them install a new keyboard assembly on my MacBook. Unfortunately the park failed after 3 months. This exceeded the warranty. I contacted Eric at the front office and he was very helpful. We reached an amicable decision that was a win-win. They installed a slightly used keyboard at a reduced rate and I felt that that was fair. I will continue to be a loyal customer to I Hospital.

My I Phone had completely stopped working and I brought it to another place in the mall to have a technician look at it. They said it would be at least 2 hours before they could look at it. 2 HOURS! Stay away!! The techs lie to cover their mistakes. They damaged my screen on my Apple Watch while expecting another issue and then claimed I brought it in like that. Liars! BEWARE! Take your business somewhere else.They were unable to properly seal my watch twice. All managers were morons. Take your money somewhere else.In response to you. Your staff cracked my screen while they were removing the face repeatedly. Tom and Andrew were there. I told Andrew right then and there what they did. You refused to let me see the camera footage when I asked to see it. I have been a customer with your business for over three years and you and your staff treated me horribly. You and your staff are misogynistic. All women should stay away from this business. They are self righteous and chauvinists. STAY AWAY!! They failed to repair my watch twice. The third time I came in it had water damage because your staff FAILED to seal it properly the second time.

UPDATE: they did manage to reply to a charge resolution on time though. This place is run by crooks. Avoid at all costs.I am revising my review from a few years ago. On April 10th, iHospital fixed a screen that I clearly cracked on my own from stepping on the phone. 10 days later, the new screen re-cracks at the very top edge, near the front-facing camera.They refused to even look at the phone, saying that all screen cracks do not fall under warranty. If this is the way that they treat their customers from now on, I will look elsewhere for support and service. Apple Genius Bar confirmed it was a faulty install that led to the re-crack. Apple then fixed it correctly, the first time. Which is what you should do if you have a device repair issue. Better to get it done right the first time rather than pay twice for one repair, like I wound up doing.Its a shame they went from being so accommodating to inflexible in just a few short years.

My first and second experience in iHospital were really great, and thats why i kept going back, but everything changed since last time i went back to replace my iphone x display. Mine is under warranty so they offered to change for me for free, yet, they didnt carry LCD anymore, also the head office refused to authorize the technician there to charge price difference for me to change with a LED display. I had to wait for nearly a month for my replacement display to deliver. The customer service wasnt as good when I called to follow up either.Finally i got my display replaced for free a month ago, but soon after i started using it, i found there were some problems with the new touch screen. Since i was busy i didnt go back to ihospital right away, a caouple weeks later, i dropped my phone gently on the ground and it broke, i was really surprised because ive been using iphone the whole time and it shouldnt break so easily. i didnt go back to iHospital and say anything because i felt dropping the phone on the floor was my fault.but today i went to another shop, got my display replaced (LCD, half price!), and they told me ... last time someone fixed my screen, there were several screws missing, the screen wasnt fully attached and thats why the touch screen wasnt functioning right, also why its so easy to break.Never again Ihospital, i will never go back, and hopefully this review gives everybody who wants to go there fix their phone a big warning!

So when I was on vacation my iPhone 5S dropped and my screen cracked. But beside the crack it worked fine. But I still wanted to get it fixed. So I went to the iHospital the place was nice inside it took only a hour. But when I got my house I noticed that the color was to light. The next morning the ring around the TouchID and the button you could kind of wiggle around. Then the screen wouldnt respond to your touch. It would sometimes not respond and sometimes it would. I live up in Ohio so it is hard to go back and say you broke my phone.If you broke your phone I would recommend to pay extra and go to the Apple Store so you dont end up with a broken phone like me.

WARNING. DONT GO HERE!!!!!! I have been completely ripped off by this place. I dropped my IMac off and told the technician that the back power button wasnt working properly and the screen would randomly go black. I told him I tried to fix it by taking the screen off but it led to a spark and the computer would not start. I paid the $40 triage fee to find out what it would take to get in good working condition. He texted me a few hours later and said it was just a damaged power supply and he could replace with a new one for $225.00. When I picked it up he said it booted right up and works. I asked why the back power button was still loose and he said it didnt matter and works fine. When I got home I could not use either a mouse or keyboard. Now the Bluetooth was dysfunctional. When I called the store, he said it would be $175 to fix. Why wouldnt he tell me that from the beginning when he did the diagnosis? I would have just bought a new computer if I knew this. I had to buy a corded mouse to try and use it but by then the screen started going black again. (Obviously this guy is not qualified to work on computers). He told me I could bring it back and he would refund me for the part. Great! I dropped it back off at the store and when I went to pick it up the following day he said he would not give me a refund. Now I have lost $275.00 and have a non working computer. I called the 1-800 number all week and left multiple messages with customer relations but no one has called me back. They are thieves!!!!!!!! Do not go to this place. They will leave you high and dry with no where to turn but a voicemail at customer relations. They completely screwed me!!!! Complete nightmare!!!! Youve been warned.

I shouldve read the other reviews first. They damaged a company iPad Pro 12.9 worse than it already was! We prepaid them to replace a cracked screen, which I was told would be ready the next day. Two days later no word so I called them and was told the store had had to close the last two days since noone showed up and hopefully it would be ready in another day or two. Two days later still nothing so I call and am told that the replacement display didnt work and they had to order another - mind you the only reason I know any of this is I keep having to call them. I finally receive a text the following Tuesday that its ready to pickup - over a week after I dropped it off instead of the 1 day I was originally told. When I go to pick it up the acting manager tells me the tech found the home button cable had been cut with a sharp metal object so they had to replace it and that the fingerprint reader would no longer work. Since the device was purchased brand new and has never been serviced the only way any cable couldve been cut was by them! And yet they not only tell me it was that way when it was dropped off, but that if I want it fixed I have to send it to Apple and pay $600 to have the screen replaced AGAIN when I just paid them $350 to do the same thing?! How is it my fault that their repair guy cut the cable, or my companys financial responsibility, and why wouldnt they have told me this BEFORE they charged me $350 and completed the repair? As if that wasnt bad enough the acting managers only response was The tech shouldve called you ahead of time to get permission to replace the button, thats on him that he didnt?! We will NEVER be doing business with this company again. The only reason we got this repaired was who wants to hire a new project manager and give them an iPad with a cracked screen? But a cracked screen with a screen protector over it is better than a new screen that has a non-working scanner when most of the apps we use rely on the fingerprint reader for security and wont work without it! I advise anyone who wants their device to work as well as it did when it was purchased and who doesnt want to pay for other peoples mistakes to go somewhere else. If you dont then be ready to pay extra to fix their damage to your device!P.S. Dont ask them to give you back the bad parts either or theyll make you pay for them as well rather than at least letting you get it repaired by a COMPETENT TECHNICIAN.

Terrible experience at the Tampa - Kennedy Boulevard location. Could not fix the problem, & took 2 full work days with the phone in their possession to figure that out. My iPhone 6 was hacked and totally locked up. iHospital unlocked it, cleaned it and restored it from iCloud for me in less than half an hour. They said theyd never seen anything like what was appearing on my locked screen - clearly a deliberate hack into my phone.Sean Odell, the store manager at the iHospital on Kennedy Blvd. in South Tampa was SO great to work with and saved my phone! Couldn’t be more thankful I found this place and Mason one of the wonderful workers here!!! I had previsouly taken my phone to a place to get fixed because it wouldn’t charge..after spending and absurd amount of money and returning to the place multiple times my phone broke about a week later and wouldn’t turn on again..it had been off for about 2 weeks and at that point I was begging to think I just had to throw the whole phone away until I tried my last option which was ihospital. I went in there with very little hope that my phone would be able to resolve the problem since I had already tried fixing it but I thought what do I have to lose.. long story short I walk in and in less than 10 minutes my phone was back on working like it never left. I was so grateful for Mason being able to fix my phone so quick and with great service, I will be recommending this place to anyone who will listen again thanks!!

I stopped in because my phone wasnt properly charging. Was told that it was because of buildup inside the jack. The gentleman cleaned it out right there and blew it out completely and fixed it without charging me! He certainly could have given me a line of garbage taken the phone in the back and charged me and I would have not know the difference. But he didnt, and when I do need something repaired I will return the favor by going to this location. Highly recommended. Thank You

The workers at I hospital on Kennedy are nothing short of amazing. In the past 2 years I have had my desk top crash two times. They were always able to recover all of my files and did it just for the price of my new hard drive. I also had to update my laptop to a larger hard drive. The trick part was that my hard drive had been partitioned to half Mac and half windows. Once again, for only the price of a new hard drive they also partitioned my new hard drive and restored all of my files. And I only had to wait a few days each time. They were courteous and extremely knowledgable. I would never bother using Geek Squad or any else for anything mac related. I would recommend them to everyone with an apple device.

Lost me.I brought my iPhone 5c in for a cracked screen and got treated poorly and I received a poorly repaired device. They replaced the screen alright but they failed to replace the touchscreen component.After I got my phone back it would periodically stop responding to my input. very annoying, Id have to switch it off then back on (not a full reboot) to get the touchscreen working again.I returned and they again replaced just the glass, not the touch screen component.I wrote and received a reply from the Director of Operation Mr. Jeffrey SalazarHe asked me to explain the situation and I did, I just didnt hear from him again.I would have expected a reply from Mr. Salazar after he showed interest in the situation.I took my phone today to CPR, they identified the problem iHospital couldnt and fixed my device for a fair price.Mr. Salazar, What was the point of your interest? You should never ever open that door with a customer having a bad experience and then leave them hanging.I wont return to iHospital.

I dropped my MacBook Pro on the floor last night. I took it to the iHospital for them to take a look. In less than a minute the technician fixed my Mac! Amazing service and customer care! It turns out that something inside was misplaced with the fall, they fixed and didnt charge me a dime! I will definitely be coming back for any problems with my devices! Panic when hard drive would not fit into closure to transfer data. IHospital staff immediately removed screws blocking drive from fitting after verifying that I was not going to use drive again in the MBP. Fit perfectly. There less than 10 minutes,no charge. I would certainly bring other iOS products for repair. Kudos to Marco

My computer crashed in May and I had been wanting to find the right place to get it repaired and iHospital exceeded my expectations by far. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They ordered me a part to see if if would be the solution and ta-dah it was! They are prompt and keep in great contact. Flexible and understanding. I plan on going back to keep up maintenance on my MacBook pro to have it cleaned and have the keyboard replaced. I paid about $200 to fix my laptop...Apple had originally quoted me over $750.

Had an iphone 8 that completely died. went to apple and they said it was totaly dead and they couldnt get my data back as some things had not mee synched while i was on vacation when it died. iHospital brought the phone back just long enough for me to get my precious data, all with out leaving a trace for apple to see so i could have my phone replaced under warranty. Beware and make sure you receive genuine Apple parts. I have been a long-time customer of iHospital. I have had several iPhone and iPad screens replaced. I have even written positive reviews in the past. However, I will never use them again. I brought my daughters iPhone 5S in for a cracked screen repair last summer. While there, the technician accidentally damaged additional components. Those components had to be ordered and the repair took two weeks. I didnt have any complaints about that repair and appreciated iHospital taking responsibility for the additional damage.However, when the phone was damaged again in April beyond repair, I took the phone to Apple to swap out the device for a refurbished device. Apple confirmed for me that iHospital had not used genuine Apple products and, as a result, they could not swap the device.Not only did the iHospital repair nullify my ability to use Apples trade-in program, but I learned that iHospital used counterfeit parts (parts had an Apple logo but did not include a serial number Apple uses to confirm their parts as authentic). I brought this issue to the attention of the manager at iHospital and he asked to research the issue and call me back. After a week of waiting without a call back, I contacted him and he told me simply that they only use genuine parts and he couldnt help me. Without any proof that no other repairs had been done to the device by another company, I was out of luck.iHospital charges premium prices largely because of the cost of parts. I dont mind paying a higher price for repairs knowing that the parts used are authentic and will perform properly. However, iHospital has broken my trust and I would never use them again.

I went in to have a cracked screen fixed other than that the phone worked great, The service is abhorrent. I was told that My phone would be ready at 12, when I arrived My phone was not ready. When I got my phone home after a day of running errands the phone had no audio on the speaker for the ear. Had to drive back in rush hour to have them fix it. Was told that the repair would take an Hour and they offered no compensation no refund no discount nothing. You get what you pay for. Do not go here!!

!!!!!!!!! BEWARE !!!!!!!!!! They dont take any responsibility for their mistake...-----------------------------I had a very bad experience IHospital.I had a working iPhone 5 .. I took it to iHospital in west Kennedy blvd them for a battery replacement.They did the battery change and all the buttons stopped working.This damage could have occurred when the static potential in the new battery that you changed is not drained, thereby affecting the mother board.They didnt even felt responsible for that. My simple ask for them is to give me my iphone with the same condition as it was before.It seems taking responsibility is not part of their rule book. So walked out empty handed.

I dropped my iPad Air 2 off to get the screen replaced on a Thursday. They said they had a screen there, and that it would be ready Monday at the latest. Then, on Monday, we called, and they said they got a new shipment the night before, so it would be ready Tuesday. We called Tuesday, but they said they had gotten a new shipment in that morning, and it would be ready Wednesday at 4:00 at the latest. We called today (Wednesday) and they said they put a new screen on, but it didnt respond to taps. I will add an update when (if) I get my iPad. Also, I paid $250 for this. This place is a rip-off.Update: Changing this review to 3 stars. After posting this review, the CEO of iHospital called my father, from New York, to tell us that he was sorry, and that he would give us $50 off. I may have been a little harsh earlier, and this shows that they arent such a rip-off.Update #2: They said that the part was held-up today (Thursday). Im changing it back to 1 star.Update #3: Apparently, my iPad cant be fixed. They offered to get me a new iPad for the price of the repair, but luckily I have AppleCare+. Changing review to 2 stars.

These guys dont stand behind their mistakes at all...I had them replace a screen for me. It cracked the next day because they didnt place the wires in flat. They absolutely refused to even look at it and said that I must have broke it again. Talked with the store owner.. he was a complete jerk about it too. Dont expect them to stand behind the work they do at all. They wouldnt even offer a discount. $140ish repair lasted a day...

Ihosptal is not Apple approved nor affiliated so keep that in mind. After having a cracked screen on my iPhone 6 replaced at ihosptal several months passed and the bottom part of screen horizontally would not respond to touch. I went to Apple Store thinking it had to do with the actual phone and was told that bc of the screen being replaced by a non Apple approved company this is seen a lot. They offered to replace screen for a little over 100 (basically what ihosptal charged). Should have just gone to Apple to begin with :(. Because of previous water damage my phone is covered under the warranty that ihosptal offers when replacing the screen.
