I used Matt for my taxes for a few years, and transitioned into self-employment which would complicate my taxes. I asked him about helping me with business and personal taxes which he declined (actually he just stopped responding to my multiple inquiries). Fast forward to present, I received a letter from the IRS asking for more information to a tax return that Matt filed. Ive contacted him multiple times: text, emails, showing up at his office, etc. without a single reply even though he said he would deal with any IRS issues directly on returns that he filed.I get not wanting to work with me, but not responding at all is very unprofessional. Not to mention total disregard for his promise to help with any IRS inquiries, which is extremely disappointing and now I am scrambling.You can judge a person by their word and commitment, but he did not hold up his end of the bargain. I would not recommend Matt to anyone looking for a CPA.

I would highly recommend Matthew Miller for your accounting needs. I had several years of back taxes that I hadn’t filed and he was able to resolve them all very quickly and professionally. He told me the exact information he would need, which made the process much easier than I was expecting. This was the best money I’ve ever spent. Thank you, Matt.

My experience has been far from positive. I brought my tax materials in the early part of March 2020 giving Mr. Miller ample time to prepare my return. All documents were scanned into the online portal and I was excited about the apparent ease of completing the return. He advised the return would take approximately three to four days to complete. Here we are a month later and no sign of my return. I have called daily, emailed and sent a message through the portal. Mr. Miller lacks the essential communications skills of a professional in the community. The only saving grace is the extension the government has offered to file taxes due to Covid 19. If not for that extension, my taxes would be late.

Matt incorrectly filed my taxes in 2016 which lead to more than 6k in late fines and corrections with the IRS. I was able to fix most of the issues working closely with my accounting firm, Incite Tax, but I was still hit with $1500 worth of late fines and additional fees from the state of Georgia where I resided (but was not a resident) for half the filling year. Its been a real debacle. I asked Matt to make it right, and hes refused to return my calls or emails unless its in reference to removing poor peer reviews.

Very satisfied. I came to Matthew with a 30 day timeframe to produce returns for multiple years and with a few complexities. He did an excellent job and I met my IRS deadline. Highly recommended. Thanks Matt!

BEWARE! MATT AND HIS PRACTICE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES! Rips people off! Some sort of tax fraud. He doesnt know what he is doing. Worst pathetic person. This place will be shutdown soon.

Matt is a professional. I called 30 minutes after his advertised hours to inquire about his services. He answered the phone and took time to explain his services, the fees, and what would likely be some important considerations for my situation. His explanations were clear and concise. I received a document via email to help allocate some of the expenses. I made an appointment for the following day and we were able to complete my taxes in less than 90 minutes. I highly recommend Matt and enjoy telling my friends about the great service I received.

I went into this tax season with a lot of questions and concerns. Matt was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions with detailed explanations, all without hesitation even on a Saturday. Being able to send my documents via email and sign my return without having to go into the office was very convenient and accommodating to my busy schedule. ( 1/24/2018 ) Update i will say again Best decision me and the Wife ever made Its now been 3 years that we have used Matthew Miller to file our taxes. Matthew Miller is just awesome hands down. Very Easy to talk to Goes above and beyond to explain any tax questions you have very patient. I never fell rushed when i meet with him. Matt is a Awesome CPA.I got a 1099-c and went to file and Because of that owed the IRS money .I have been filing my own return for years. Spent some time online and contacted Matt About my Issue he took the time Explained my 1099-c and helped me and my wife find money i could not have on my own. So now the IRS owes me money. Very Friendly and easy to talk to just made the whole experience a breeze Would highly recommend Matt. I will be returning to him every year for all my tax returns .

It was my first time for me and my husband to file tax jointly. Matthew was very friendly and helpful to us. He gave us lots of advice on what to keep track on so that it would be easier for us to file taxes next year. We were also able to schedule online easily which is a plus for us. Our taxes were completely done in under 1 hour.

As of this afternoon Matt is and will remain my familys CPA. not only is Matt a knowledgeable CPA, he is a personable and honest man. After my appointment I felt more informed and educated in that short period than in my previous 7 years at the Block! Filed my taxes incorrectly, and at great personal cost to me. When I asked him to fix it, he was dismissive and ultimately never helped me resolve the issue. I had to hire a separate CPA to fix the problem.

Fast, efficient and easy is how I would describe the performance of Mr. Miller in sending out the 1098 forms I needed to send to the IRS before the end of Feb. 2015. The IRS apparently doesnt want mortgage holders to send this information, as I requested the forms 3 times and never received them (you cannot download the pink copy from the IRS website, as it is a machine read form).

Four years later update - Matt still does a fantastic job on the accounting part. With that being said, you can never and I mean never contact him. Phone calls, emails, text messages, none of them are returned. I rate the customer service as extremely poor and totally unacceptable.Matt did a great job and provided sound advisement for our future tax planning.

Made multiple mistakes on taxes. Did not answer calls or emails-had to contact another CPA to get my taxes filed, put me in a difficult position. Would not recommend.
