The people are really nice but they dont know how to to give a decent haircut atleast my barber. I asked for a very normal haircut and the guy just ruined my hair and maybe it will take me me months to grow and get them even. I drove like 15 miles and thats what I get. I could have get a good haircut in half the price from a small barbershop around the corner.

I was looking for a change to a higher end cut than Im used to, and tried this place based on the reviews. Its very clean and has a simple and comfortable atmosphere. I picked Matt (also based on reviews), and being new to a higher end barber shop I was honestly a little nervous at first. Matt was great about asking me a few simple questions, making suggestions, and turning my vague idea of what I wanted into an excellent style that was a major step up for me and executed perfectly. He taught me how to style my hair and beard, and maintain it until I come back for another cut (and I definitely will). He was very focused and paid meticulous attention to detail. When I left there wasnt one hair out of place, not to mention he took the time to answer all my rookie questions. Overall just a great, comfortable experience for a guy that didnt really know what to expect. The way my hair/beard looked and the way I felt walking out made the whole experience worth every penny. This is a great place, and major shout-out to Matt for doing an awesome job!

I get my haircuts here with Matt and he is absolutely incredible. Matt’s precision, attention to detail, and focus on his work does not go unnoticed. For me consistency is key and he delivers each and every-time. When he is away all of the barbers do an incredible job and go above and beyond. After moving from California to Tampa recently, I had to find a replacement for my barber of +10 years. After going to the same barber for so long, you take for granted the great service. Fortunately, I found a great barbershop, The Cambridge Club, and a fantastic barber, Matt. The Cambridge Club is certainly an upscale location in the center of Hyde Park Village, so you pay a bit more than shops in other areas. However, youll receive far better service from The Cambridge Club than most shops, and youll never feel rushed.If youre looking for a shop, and if youre looking for a barber, I highly recommend The Cambridge Club and Matt. You wont be disappointed.

Rey takes the time to do the job right, whether it is a beard trim or a head shave. Always a first-class job. Additionally, the shop is clean and classy with an easy-going vibe. This is a first-rate barbershop that does hair cuts, shaves, and beard trims the right way.

Will not be coming here again. I got off work much earlier than expected, so I decided to come in early and see if I could get my haircut early. I saw the barber I made an appointment for at 12:40 p.m. was with another customer. This isnt a problem since Im early by an hour and a half. I decide to grab a quick bite to eat and Im back at the barbershop at noon. I see my barber is standing there on his phone (maybe he is on his break), so I decide to wait until it is my turn at 12:40. At 12:30, another customer who was suppose to be there at noon for his haircut walks in. They decide to give him a full haircut and run into my appointment time. I have been coming here for over year now and can tell they only care for certain customers. This place has the worst customer service, and is only making it because of its location.

As far as the haircut goes - this was a good experience. i got pretty much exactly what i wanted. however, i was a bit turned off by clientele not being asked to wear masks, as it was a small space and i was pretty much the only one with a mask on. otherwise, its a clean shop with a quality cut.

This is the most laid back place ive ever been to get my haircut. They welcomed me as a walk-in last minute and Vanessa did not hesitate to hook me up!!🤙. I already booked a couple weeks out and totally looking forward to it!!

Booked my first appointment for today at 11:45 AM. Cold environment when you first walk in, as in, not very welcoming. The guy behind the counter did ask if he could help me, and I checked in around 11:35 AM. He then offered me a drink, which I politely declined. There were only 2 barbers there, and both had someone in the chair. I knew my appointment was with a female barber, which I did not see. 11:45 passes, and I started wondering if someone else was going to take my money, as I was the only person waiting. One of the barbers finished his client and then asked the receptionist about my status. I could overhear them talking about not knowing the whereabouts of my barber, and then a call was made, discussing that I had an 11:45 appointment. After the call, the guy behind the desk told me that my barber was not there, and offered to reschedule me for 1:00; I declined because I had a lunch reservations at that time. He then offered to give me a discount on my next cut, and I said no thanks, and that I wouldn’t be back. I will say that the available barber and the receptionist both apologized.In all, I made the 30 mile trip expecting a higher quality experience, like places I have been to in other states. (If I just want a cheap barber, I have 5 in a two mile radius of my house) Unfortunately this place didn’t come close to hitting the mark. I won’t be back, and I’m glad I didn’t get my expensive haircut and beard trim here. I’ll give my money to someone that wants it and appreciates their customers. If they have no call, no show barbers working there, they may want to reconsider having someone for walk-ins, so other people don’t sit there for close to a half hour before telling them that their appointment is cancelled (like I did) and leave without a haircut. What’s funny, is they have a disclaimer on their website saying they will charge you 50% of the price of your services if you cancel less than an hour before, and make you enter your credit card info. Maybe I’ll send them a bill for my time, since THEY cancelled my appointment AFTER the appointment time.

Solid spot for the guy in your life. First time there, I got a haircut and shave, and the barber was patient, meticulous and did a great job. So happy with the results. Front desk chick was hot, too, so that helps. ;)

There really isnt a better spot in Tampa for a cut in my opinion. Free parking garage right across the street. Fairly priced, great barbers and even offer some alcoholic beverages while you wait. Ive had 4 different barbers there and I walked away more than satisfied each time.

First of all this is the best place in town to get a haircut and shave. Casey took care of me and this was well worth the money. I will tell you one thing that I will be back sooner than later. This is the first timr in awhile that I actually look good good out on a weekend!!

I had my first haircut there on Tuesday with Rey and couldnt be happier. Everyone working there was friendly and professional. I was offered a drink when I arrived. I was 5 minutes early but they were ready for me. Rey listened to what I wanted and offered his advice. He did a great job.

Classy place. They have many different options for hair and beards alike. They treat you well and are attentive to yiur needs. I recommend the Kingsman shave. You wont regret it.

Clean upscale barbershop. Rey gave me an outstanding haircut but upon reflection I think I overpaid. I bought the Kingsman cut but did not recieve a shampoo treatment, hot lather straight razor edge treatment or the scalp massage and conditioning. For $75 I probably wont return.

Have been going since December. Im always greeted with a smile and offered a beverage of my choice. George is awesome. He is very meticulous and professional. Im looking forward to their new digs on Swan. I highly recommend George for a haircut update and taming of your beard.

Very great place for a very professional haircut. Ive seen nearly all the barbers and I get the same hospitality, service, and quality haircut from each of them. I drive 45 minutes to get a haircut from them rather than local barbers and chain haircut providers due to their amazing service.

First my roommate came out looking like jimmy neutron, then I unknowingly go to the same place and get the most crooked beard I have ever seen, had to shave a beard I’ve been growing six months.Update: Despite a bad experience, the owner showed extreme care and understanding to my situation and has done everything he could to mend the relationship. I understand that things happen and will be giving them a second chance on my next haircut and beard trim.

First: The haircut I got was great. OK, nothing wrong with the product. But, when I walked in, the barber insulted my current haircut. No kidding. If I thought my hair was great, I wouldnt have been walking in there for a haircut. So, why insult the current hair? Does anyone with perfect hair come in for a haircut? 2. The barber almost never spoke to me. 3. They had the TV on, playing a stupid movie. It was loud, vulgar, stupid and it dominated the experience. 4. I still tipped the barber very well, walked out and paid my tab. The haircut is great, as always, but the ambiance of the place should match the product. Turn off the TV. Talk to your clients and act like the true professionals that I know you are.

Just got a haircut from George. Informed him of a fade and a trim on top, indicating the top was too long. At no point during the haircut did he turn the chair to allow me to see the length he was cutting, so I assumed all was well. He turned the chair and I notice he “trimmed” over half of my current length. As I turn around I make the remark that it is too short, clearly surprised by the cut.Not expecting this response - he proceeds to take off the apron and tells me to go. Tells me it’s free and that he refused to fix the haircut. I informed him I’m a Hyde park village resident and I’d like to pay for my haircut and come back, we just need to fix what was done. He goes “you won’t be coming back to me.”Well I 100% won’t be coming back and I recommend to EVERYONE to avoid this place at all costs.

Terrible experience. Arrived on time. 20 minutes later I had a chair 10 minutes later I left.Pros: ? Cons: Had to wait. Appointment was for a cut and color. Nope. Did not have me for a color. Asked for a light cut. Asked to see. Too short. Told barbar. There is a difference between what a barber says is a light cut and what a customer says is a light cut. Who is paying? Hell deny saying that.Middle barber talks and talks and talks. Hostess talks and talks about her love live. Really?What makes it worse is my wife gave me a gift card, and rather than go to Kensingtons, where I usually go, I came to Cambridge Club. I left the gift card.Others may find this place great. I will never go back.

Ive tried several different barbershops since relocating to Tampa several months ago, and this place is the best Ive found. Steven was precise and professional, and the shop was super clean and in a great location.

So walked in with 2 appointments for 1pm.Little wait time since we called in advance.Asked for a square cut, low fade. Ended up with a very high fade, round cut all the way up to the crown of my head. I showed Raymond 2 photos of what I wanted.So All the Barbers talk back & forth to each other and very little to their customers. Don’t they want to build relationships with their customers so they come back? The sinks & counters were full of hair and cluttered. No organization of their tools what so ever! This I blame on the design buildout. Not enough room for the service providers to work well.The Barber next to me tossed around the “N” word several times and my Barber dropped the “F” bomb once! Offensive Guys and this team needs some training in Professional Dialigue with your Customers!My Haircut was Great if I was 12 Years Old, but it wasn’t what I asked for & its not a trendy men’s haircut! I don’t recommend the Kingsman price to anyone as this experience was not fit for a King but instead for a pauper!Wanted to place to turn our great, but I think the business is going to get a lot of 1 Hit Wonders who won’t be back!

Got the 20-30 minute ‘tidy up’ to the barber’s annoyance, who wanted me to take their premium packages. I said that I didn’t have time, but if he could do what he could in the time frame, I’d happily tip well and be back again soon.He then proceeded to take a phone call for 20 minutes, barely touch my hair, hang up the call without touching a pair of scissors and said sorry that the time was now up, and that I’d need to upgrade to a higher paying service for him to keep cutting.Certainly will not return here.

I went there to get a haircut yesterday and the man who cut my hair did awful I told him once that it was enough off the top he said just let me cut the edges and I said ok so he was cutting the edges and I said that’s to short and he said it’s fine and he kept going and now my hair is so much shorter I can’t style it how I used to

Prices have gone up like 50%. Used to pay 40$ for a haircut n beard trim and now its 60$ and not worth paying that price. I’d rather drive a block around and pay 35$. Wont recommend the new place !
