I have been getting my haircut at Fade To Perfection previously known as NYC Fade for many years. The service is always great and the environment at the barbershop gives great vibes. It’s like a family. The name change is due to new ownership. The shop was recently renovated and it looks amazing.Macho has been my barber and I refuse to go anywhere else. He is professional, patient and courteous. All the other barbers in the shop are just as wonderful.You won’t be disappointed. You know it’s worth it when a person drives at least 45 mins every two weeks to get a haircut at Fade to Perfection.

The barber shop is very clean and modern. Lots of room for social distancing. All the cuts leaving looked good, including mine. Great barbers, great atmosphere, and comfortable chairs.

However, the place needed a much over due facelift.During my recent visit for my usual fade hair cut, I was surprised to see that it is under new ownership. And, the new owner is definitely doing it right. All I can say, from what Ive seen thus far it will look amazing. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit in a couple of weeks.Lastly, if your in need of a great stylish haircut you owe it to yourself to stop in. I absolutely love this Barber Shop!! My personal preferred Barber is Macho. First off the Barbershop is very clean and organized!! Second and most importantly Macho is always on point with every Cut I get. His attention to detail and cleanliness and sanitation before and after every cut is beyond outstanding!! When I get into his chair I can rest easy that I’m getting exactly what I want. He displays awesome attention to detail from start to finish. Im glad I found this place. My barber was from up north like myself and was good to make that connect. Felt just like being back at home. Great service, all the dudes were cool. Growing out my beard and my barber gave great advice on how to get it started. Ill definitely be back weekly to keep the beard tight.

Great haircut- every time, but dont just drop in for a cut.Most folks make appointments and no one tells you if youre a walkin that you could be waiting a couple hours or more. Missed quality improvement & customer service opportunity and chance to connect with the community. Need better communication to the customer. Time is money!

My barber is good, but seems like they play whichever movie or music regardless of the age of their customers. The place can be better maintained as well.

Service was good but the music was wayyy too loud.The barbers had to yell each other so they can establish a conversation. Well they had the music at that level. If ot wasnt for the loud music I will provide them with a 5 stars rate.

I live in Ohio but travel a lot. I have two barbers that I go to. Ones in North Carolina and the other is NYC Fades in Tampa Florida. I always walk away with a fresh cut that Im more than satisfied with. Yea it might take a lil while because the barbers like to talk it up but isnt that the way of all traditional barber shops! Best barber in Florida in my opinion!

I dont reccomend you go to this barbershop. I sat in the second chair on the left. Id write the barbers name but I dont remember it. Young guy. Anyways I asked him for a SKIN TIGHT FADE. PRACTICALLY BALD FADE. Even when I noticed he wasnt doing what I asked...I reminded him SKIN TIGHT. BE PROCEEDS TO FINISH UP WHAT HE BELIEVES IS WHAT I ASKED FOR. At the end, I was still unsatisfied seeing as though I have already paid this man PLUS tips. I have no facial hair... hadnt touched my eyebrows and my shape up/edge up is crooked. I stepped outside and asked a friend if I was over reacting and they too reassured me the haircut wasnt what I asked. I proceed to go back inside and ask if there is anyone else that could help me. Instead I was met with a bunch of Ive got other appointments coming. Or Im unavailable at the time. They then attempted to coach me into sitting in the SAME guys chair who already messed my cut up. Long story short, dissatisfied... no one helped and I really hope you think twice about spending money there because the customer service is below mediocre. Never again. And I wasnt reimbursed anything.Dont do it to yourself.

Place is a joke. I went in for a fade as I now work In the area and it seemed a little ghetto so I figured they could defiantly do a fade, NOT! Chris literally took 65 min to pretty much shave my head bald, even cutting my hair line back on my forehead. He should be fired! I paid the $20 (including a $5 tip) Bc its just the right thing todo but I will NOT be returning the this place! Stay away at all cost.. Im not even sure if these barbers even have licenses to cut and shave people!

Ray is probably one of the best barbers thats ever cut my hair period. I have a really difficult type of hair that is hard to fade, but he gets it right every time. Takes his time but its so worth it. Make sure you schedule an appt or else youll wait a while. 6th symbolyc star for them being hilarious lol
