Great atmosphere. Being the first time here was a little nervous. Annie took the nervousness away immediately. Conversation was on point. Took time to listen and ask questions about what I was looking . Haircut was on point. Definitely found my new Barber!

I brought my 17-year-old son here yesterday for the first time. Was referred to Annie by a friend of mine. She took time to talk to him to find out what he was looking for. Of course he was not positive what he really wanted she gave some suggestions. He was very happy with his haircut he said that he’s definitely going to go back to see her. I very much appreciate the time she took the precision and how she made him feel very comfortable. The haircut looks great. I definitely recommend her.

Great local barbershop. Very comfortable atmosphere with art placed in every corner. Their music selection is on point. Staff are very professional and keep the shop clean at all times. Plus theyre funny lol. The place does stay consistently business, so youll need to schedule an appointment, or you wont get a spot.

Annie was great. I was in town for work and stopped to get a skin fade. Annie is a great personality and we had a good conversation. But when I got to my truck I noticed the left side of my haircut was lower than the Right. No big deal. Went back in and she immediately apologies and kicked her son in law out of the chair. Fixed me in about 3 minutes and I was on my way. Very good experience. Shop has a cool vibe and very clean.

Clean shop, relaxed atmosphere and must say I was happy to that my barber was wearing a mask. She left it up to me if I wanted to keep mine on or not. I came here for the first time recently because my old barber started giving me inconsistent hair cuts. I had a little trouble finding it because it is actually a backroom in Kelly Days Firehouse Tavern. This was confusing but also kind of interesting. Its a 2 chair shop and I walked in without realizing that most of the time they operate from appointments. I was lucky and the current appointment ended up calling to tell Johnny he could not make it no so he sat me immediately. I could really tell Johnny knew what he was doing after I told him the hairstyle I wanted (undercut) and he asked me a few styling questions and commented on a few things my prior barber had messed up that were bothering me already. I was super pleased with how it turned out and will be coming here now in the future.

I have been a regular customer for years, but apparently that doesnt matter in todays world. I showed up for my appointment and said hello to Nicole as I walked in. She then ignored me for 5 minutes while she continued to talk to her friends. I told her I didnt appreciate having my time wasted and left. She then charged me for missing my appointment. I recommend finding a barber who will treat you with respect.

Pretty busy, make sure youre on time or early and schedule prior to your haircut.Walk-ins are near impossible, but you get excellent service from anyone here. Any of the barbers are very nice and down to earth!

Was visiting Tampa and stop in received great service. Music was a little loud but other then that no complaints. Wife loved my haircut.

Went for a cut today found the place relatively easy. If you look for the barber pole on the building it makes it way easier. If you pass it on your left the next block has parking for $1 an hour once you turn left and its on the right. When I walked in I was telling him Abe hadnt really liked my last few hair cuts and wanted something different but the same. He told me all about how my hair was laying what and how to comb it so I dont have hair doing whatever it wants. They were both cool guys talking and joking around. He did a good job trimming my beard and with the shave too. I will for sure be going back. It might be a 45 minute drive but its totally worth it. Like he said a hair cut is like a tattoo you get what you pay for and Im super happy with my hair cut.

Literally stole my money.Had an appointment for 1 PM, the barber Nyno wasn’t ready. Ask them if I could switch barbers, said that was fine. Never said anything any about cancelling. He waited 2 days before charging me a cancellation fee. Thought he was slick. When I called him out he said I “wasted his time” and that’s why he charged me.He can keep the money, he needs it more than I do.What joke. Never going back.

These guys helped me when I wasnt sure what I wanted style wise. Took the time to make sure I was going to be happy with the outcome. Ive been to a lot of places that do beards, but these guys really know what they are doing - as made clear by their own beards. If youre looking for an old-school barber that know what theyre doing, look no further.

Good old school barber shop. Its two barbers with a two-chair shop in the back of the bar upstairs. Ive only gotten my hair cut but it always looks good. Listening to them talk to other people with more complicated hair than I have, it seems that both barbers are pretty knowledgeable of different types of hair and styles etc. They prefer if you make an appointment instead of just walking in like I did my first time.

Showed up for a cut and beard trim with Johnny and found him to be a very experienced barber with a great eye, he helped me come up with a plan to correct a previous bad cut and executed it with minimal effort from me. Dude knows his stuff enough to have turned me into a repeat cutstomer.

Been going to Johnny for almost 6 months now and is the best. Always on time with his appointments and each cut holds up until its time for your next cut. Lots of compliments on the cut too. Oh, and his beard trim is right on too.

The Cigar City Barbershop (located upstairs, inside, toward the back of the Lions Den) was just the place I was looking for and Johnny did not disappoint! Got a great haircut, tonne of great beard growing tips, and Abel also decided that the shave I signed up for wasnt needed if I was going the route that I am with my beard. He removed it from the bill, looking out for my beard goals more so than making more money for himself.Ill definitely return.

A genuine artist who cares for his craft as much as the people. Come in for a beer or smoked old fashioned and a nice cigar, hang on giant comfy couches and catch a game or chill outside on the rooftop patio. Cant be beat a step back in time and a sure must go for anyone in Tampa looking for a true prohibition style vibe.

Nicole Rosario did a good job fixing up my hair after a guy at a cheap place butchered it. 25$ is a good price for the haircut I got. I got a very bad haircut at a cheap place for 12$, which cost me some money because I wouldnt go to a job interview until I could get it fixed. Ive uploaded some pics.

Not exaggerating when I say this is the best place to get a haircut in Tampa. The online appointment system is great and Johnny the barber is a really cool guy. Really happy that I found out about this place.

If I could leave zero stars I would.My husband went an hour before closing and they told him they couldnt cut his hair. Hes tried to go multiple times and its been the same thing. I thought they truly were busy the first and second time but its out of control.The employees make him feel unwelcome and he will not be going again. I just wanted to write a review saying if they are being lazy they will just turn you away. Bad business Behavior and will not recommend to others.

Very pleased with the cut I got from Nyno yesterday. I have been paying 45$ a cut at another well known place in S Tampa (my cut yesterday was 25$)but they have been slipping since I started going the last few years so I decided to give this place a try. It is now my spot for sure. Nyno is a young guy with a great story and I can say he is 1) meticulous about his craft, high attention to detail 2) passionate about hair. Its very obvious to me he cares about giving a good cut every time which I love as Im super picky about my hair and care how it looks more than the avg guy. Thanks Nyno, see you in 4 weeks.

Best hair cut Ive ever gotten, even better than when I splurged for my wedding. Abel was great and you can tell him and Jonny (the owner) both love what they do. Its tucked away in the back of a bar (you can drink and smoke cigars) which makes it hard to find but its totally worth the time spent parking, walking and looking. The place is badazz. A hair cut is only $20, not much more than you would pay at a salon chain. Theres only 2 chairs so make an appointment, or schedule a house-call!

Really?No we did not have an appointment but, we didnt know we had to have one??We gave it a shot. Got to ybor, of course paid for parking three blocks down, had to look at three websites to get an idea as to the locations and then just found in by sheer luck.With only two barber chairs and two barbersDefinitely we were told they were booked for the day. There was no nice greeting, no welcome, the barber asked immediately if we had appointments, we said no, then we got a big we are booked for the dayAfter we told them we had a hard time finding this place. No more options were given, we felt really unwelcomed.They must really not need businesses so Id say dont waist your time even bothering.Ive been to places in Orlando where they welcome you with or without an appointmentThey will squeeze you in, even if you have to wait a bit. This place was our last impressionUnwelcoming and too much trouble.
