We had our baby shower here 2 weeks ago, we are having a baby girl, so we wanted something very princess style. They did not disappoint at all. Everything came out so beautiful! Cosett did an amazing job with all the decorations!

Best experience with a venue/event planner I’ve had. A couple of months ago I was planning my niece’s quince. I went to many different venues in Tampa looking for the perfect place to host this party. I wasn’t every pleased with other banquet halls I was visiting and this venue was referred to me by a friend whom had used their services before and was very content with them.This banquet hall is so beautiful and very clean, it sets it very much apart from other local venues in the area. The management could not have been any more helpful, they gave me all the information needed and where always available for any questions. They work with you and let you know all their rules and regulations so there are no loop holes or issues later on. Very professional and accommodating.Needless to say the party was amazing; everything from the decorations to the services they offered the day of the event exceeded my expectations. All of the guests couldn’t help but look at everything in amazement and kept asking for business cards so they could use this business for their next event.Overall I had a great experience with this business, it is the best in Tampa in looks, prices, and management. I really recommend it to anyone that it looking for a venue/event planner for their party.
From the moment I walked in I knew we found the right place. The staff at Diamond Banquet Hall is absolutely phenomenal. They made my daughters event so special. The food is amazing. I love the floor and ceilings. The venue comes with great lighting. The ambiance and personal really make this place so wonderful. I am definitely doing many more events here!!!
A week ago today I had my sons 1st birthday party there . Now I had been planning it for over 4 months so I wanted to make sure that every single detail was perfect and my entire vision came to life exactly how I wanted it and I had planned it and imagined it to be and I got exactly that And more. Im very pleased happy and thankful to the owners and the staff of Diamond Banquet hall for their hard work and putting it together, They all came together and did a wonderful and extremely beautiful job. Karelia the owner and her son Eddie (consultant) were both so sweet and honestly catered to my every need and want that I wanted to have at the party. They made it all so easy and enjoyable to work with them. I had a very positive and great experience . They made it all happen and it truly was a magical celebration. They went above and beyond . I highly recommend them to anyone for their event/party needs. I will definitely be doing business with them again in the future . I am one happy and satisfied customer . Words really cant describe how thankful and happy I am with the outcome. If I could give them more then 5 stars I would .
We had our girls birthday party (15 &16) at Diamond it was decorated beautifully, the food was very good & the girls had an amazing night with friends & family.Diamond is family owned & operated. The owner & family will work with you to make sure you have the event you want. She worked with our 2 teenage girls and made them both beyond happy.Diamond is local small business that needs the community support.
My daughter was supposed to get married there. Everything was set but at the last minute they changed the price and were extremely rude. As a bride you should be over the moon with joy instead my daughter was stressed and crying the whole time. I ended up spending $2,000 on a different venue because they didnt care enough to address our concerns and told her to come get her deposit days before she was to have her reception. As a mother to hear this is heartbreaking. All of our plans were ruined. A lot of our guests could no longer attend and unfortunately she was not able to go on a honeymoon with her new husband. Does this business not understand how something so minor like contracts, which by the way they forged after it was signed and paid for, or even number of guests couldve been solved without the extreme way they handled it???!! How hard is it to agree on guests, accommodate, sign and pay and enjoy the special day? Bad business... I would not recommend this venue.
Had my daughters quince here. They went over and above to make sure everything was perfect. They even accomadated some last minute changes. Awesome experience, and the food was perfect! Way more affordable and more personal experience than other event halls. Thanks for the great service and for making the venue and food part of this party worry-free!
I came here for a birthday party this year and here are my opinions. Speaking very honestly, the place is very beautiful. The decorations amazed me but I was take aback that we only get one plate of food! My husband wanted more food but he could not get anymore since the rest was for others who had not yet eaten. After the party, I was told that the place was very expensive. I thought why? we only get one plate of food and it wasnt even good. The only thing you are paying for is the decorations. I dont think I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place was amazing! Are wedding reception was held here and to be honest they went over the top with our expectations. They helped with every little detail, and helped me with things that werent even included in our package. Also the owner is a sweetheart. Thank you Diamond Banquet Hall.
My wife and I were going to do our reception there but they forged our contract 3 days before our event and wedding. They tried to charge 500$ more than what we originally discussed. We had an agreement for 63 ppl then they crossed that out and wrote 50 ppl. We had to reschedule our event and wedding day because of them. F*** them and f*** the way they do business. I recommend chic lounge if you need a nice venue. The owner doesnt really speak English and has her daughter do business for her.. Neither of them are on the same page. When my wife who speaks Spanish tried to talk to the owner, she talked over her, didnt let her get a word in, very unprofessional. Dont get me wrong, the place is nice but the staff is horrible.
Horrible experience ! The daughter/mom dual is so chaotic with their pricing...it started off at $1,300 but as soon as I said reception it sky rocketed to $1,800 . I asked why and they said it was because it was a reception with no other real explanation. I didnt want the bells or whistles of a reception.. It was meant to be a small gathering of friends and family. The owner was rude and even changed our contract AFTER I signed if from 70 guests to 50! This is illegal, when I mentioned it they told me to contact a lawyer and gave me my deposit back 3 days before my reception so all of my out of town guests were not able to attend... I had to find a new venue and reschedule the date. They are not professional at all. Their food choice is 1 meat and 2 sides for $27 per person. What a joke. I even offered to bring in 2 separate dishes just in case we ran out of food. The owner also said that once we hit 50 guests the front door would be locked !!!! When I was given my deposit back she sent her husband which I thought was rude... As the owner she shouldve tried to rectify the situation but instead she told me over the phone to come get my money... I never asked for a discount,naps a matter a fact, I ended up with a way better venue that was more expensive but totally worth it! Ill pay for quality any day... You may see good reviews but deal with them a few times before you settle for them just so you can experience what Im talking about.. They will go out of business eventually. Its unfortunate because I love supporting small businesses but this one is not the one for me..I wouldnt even recommend this to my worst enemy.

Not only was the customer service good but the pricing was even better. Going all around Tampa I found the perfect hall that was beautiful and affordable and had so much to offer for their prices! I truly wish I had a postive experience, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company. The customer service was HORRIBLE and the staff was extremely unprofessional. The owner, Karelia does not speak English so there was a language barrier. She has her 19 year old son, Eddy conduct business on her behalf but neither of them are on the same page as to how everything actually works. The owner is also referred to as the decorator. The only time she will actually present herself as the owner is if you ask or request to speak to the owner which I found very strange. You will never get a definite answer from Eddy who seems to be the only one who speaks English. If you do decide to book an event at this venue, be sure to get EVERY little detail in writing and ask to meet with both the owner and consultant (her son) in person to save yourself the hassle of explaining to the other what you were told upon booking the venue. I do also have reason to believe that they leave themselves postive reviews. Im sure an astonishing review will be followed by my review. GOOD LUCK to anyone who decides to book this venue.

This is the best place u can die a babyshower everything came our perfect the one thing I wouldnt due ever agian is the photographer shes un talented and doesnt know how to due anything when it comes to photo editing worst 350 $ I have ever spent and the worst thing is she doesnt work with u cuz ur an unsatisfied costumer like the people in dimond banquet hall due because she doesnt care about future work all she cars about are thous 350$ and what hurts the most is that my mom gave it to me as a gift for my babyshower and I cant even lie and tell her I like it I dont recommend her and if u dont want to wast ur money go somewhere else I found amazing photographers and if u want them just contact me u wont regret it but dont wast ur money with people that havent even gone to school for it she just bought a camera a cuples of dresses and doesnt even rent there she uses that place for free and then calles herself a photographer by the way she also takes credit for photos that she doesnt take to show costumers maybe she doesnt know its not legal to do that

However, it would have been much more appreciated if this same response was given upon the discussion of canceling the contract, but unfortunately it was not. Instead, I was treated with discourtesy and my concerns were not addressed. I find it truly saddening that it took for me to have to leave a public review for you to decide to address my concerns in a decent manner.With regard to the contract and deposit, as you have clearly stated, you could not meet my standards which untimely led to my decision to no longer book my event at your venue. That decision was made within 24 hours of paying my deposit of $300.00. I strongly feel that your company should have had the decency to refund the funds. Realistically, how many clients or much money did your company miss out on due to the venue being booked from one day to another? I understand a contract was signed, but upon signing the contract I specifically questioned the Non-refundable verbiage written, in which I was verbally told, Dont worry, it is refundable. You will get your money back if anything happens. I can even write refundable if you would like. There was NO MENTION of the funds being refundable if all requirements in the contract were met or only if I went through with actually having my event at your venue. I stupidly responded I trust you, no need to write up a new clause for me.I believe that in business if you give your word, you should deliver on your word. All of the legal documents in the world don’t make up for the ill will that failure to deliver on a verbal commitment can create. I am not saying that a written legal document is not important; they are. However, a verbal agreement is just as important and the spoken word is what customers will always remember. With that being said, I hope that your company will be courteous and refund the funds as I myself have made the exception and done so in my many years of business in order to satisfy my clients and keep the good faith, and reputation of my company.(MY FIRST REVIEW)WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! IF I COULD RATE IT NO STARS I WOULD! SAVE YOUR MONEY! THEYRE THIEVES!MY EXPERIENCE:I CALLED THE NUMBER LISTED 3 TIMES! WHEN WE GET DOWN TO THE MEAT AND BONES WE BEGIN TO ANALYZE THEIR CONTRACT AGAIN THIS IS ALL BEING CONDUCTED BY A 19 YEAR OLD BOY WHO CANT ANSWER ANY OF THE QUESTIONS RELATED TO THE EVENT EXCEPT THAT I WOULD HAVE TO SPEAK TO HIS MOTHER IN ORDER TO GET A DEFINITE ANSWER! We reserved the hall for a 90 person event and the people cheaped out on the food and several guests went without eating. There were three people behind the bar when it first started and they were no where to be found later. Terrible experience go somewhere else
