Ease of enrollment, great instructor

These guys are the best!!!! They are patient, knowledgeable and very effective 👍. I never thought this would be me....flying...Its a VERY beautiful experience and Atlas Aviation Tampa Inc. made it VERY possible. If flying is something you are curious about but have a fear of flying or think you cannot do it no fear Atlas Aviation is near. Give them a call and get your lessons on!!!!...I did😉

Nice rental fleet and airport

Walked in.... was put on hold twice for 5-10 mins. Had some guy walking around didn’t even as if he cold help. Very unprepared Called a second location. The lady was a bit better but was put on hold again. She said I could drive over to pickup pamphlet. I told her I was looking for very specific enrollment answers. If you don’t have time for me, I don’t have time for you!

Great flight school. Been a student about 9 months now and the staff is very friendly and professional. The airplanes are all very nice and the instructors very knowledgeable and accommodating. Dave, the manager is the best. This is a class act!!! Worth your time and money. The value is found here.Having a professional career all my life and being well rounded, I am subject to criticism, but none here, only praise. Scheduling no problem, time with instructors no problem, and availability of aircraft no problem. You can’t go wrong here. From the owner to the entire staff, all great people who support and participate in the community and have a positive presence and attitude. I enjoy every flight and every experience. I would give them 10 Stars!!!!!

Super friendly flight instructor!

These folks are top notch! Very accommodating! I am not from the area but wanted to fly to Cedar key. Enroute I wanted to get checked out in the event I was to come back and wanted a plane. The instructor Dan Davison took his Holiday and spent it flying with me. AWESOME GUY, FANTASTIC INSTRUCTOR! Chief Pilot David was able to spend alot of time on the phone with me giving me a list of local favorites, etc.. Best FBO I have dealt with! WILL BE BACK!

I wanted to share my experience with Atlas Aviation. After doing my due diligence for a flight school to attend, Atlas stood out from all the rest. The whole staff is extremely thoughtful, informative and very professional! Not helpful at all. Extreme lack of compassion. More worried about their phone than actually trying to help paying clients

Called early December to get a discovery flight appointment. Was scheduled for Jan 4th. Early morning I got a text from Michael, the instructor saying the winds were strong and expected to increase and he advised to reschedule. I agreed and he wrote that he would call to reschedule. Call never came. I called to reschedule and got an appointment for the following day with Danielle. Shortly after I got a call saying they had to cancel that appointment because Danielle had not cleared her schedule for the flight. Reschedule again for the upcoming Tuesday afternoon. Call again to confirm the flight and there was nothing in the books. Terrible experience before even getting a chance to fly.Edited to 4 star. Atlas aviation contacted me to apologize and offered a resolution.

Terrific FBO and you can learn to fly here! Friendly, helpful people, good service and reasonable prices. I needed a piece of hardware for a database update and didnt have it with me. Tom from their Maintenance Department, lent me his. Their ramp fee is wonderfully normal, not excessive at all (you know, the kind of fee you actually want to pay for the sake of General Aviation), AND waived with the purchase of a small amount of fuel. I met three of their flight instructors and even met one of their students when her CFI wanted to show her the plane we had on the ramp. Another hidden gem in the world of aviation. Thank you!
