The girl was rude. Don’t know her name because I didn’t care I knew I was never going back. She had a attitude and they are overpriced. It look good but within a week the powder is cracking and fading away. Looks a mess. Pedicure was good initially now my toe nails are slowly ripping off.

I love this salon. Every time I come here I am more than satisfied with my experience. I can depend on every single nail tech there and they are very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I have been coming here for the past 6 month. Every time I come, my nails and toes are beautiful. I always leave happy and can depend on any nail tech there. I’ve tried several other places, but Pro Nail always exceeds my expectations, especially when Dennis or Tiffany do my nails!

If you come into Pro Nails and theyre busy its because theyre worth the wait because they do a great job every time.

First time at this location, asked for Dennis because I heard he was great with nails. He was WONDERFUL! He did an amazing job on both my hands and feet, and he was so polite, professional and his attention to detail is one of a kind. I give HIM an overall 5 stars, but the establishment itself 4 stars because one of the employees there (bald head, glasses, yuck mouth teeth) was quite rude and unnecessarily disrespectful when he wasnt even apart of the conversation. I understand that he may have his own opinion about certain groups of people, but to project those assumptions on new clients (remember, first time) was very unprofessional. I would return for Dennis services, but in hopes of never interacting with the other guy again. Great job, Dennis! This nail salon really disappointed me they didn’t have a dark nude tone gel polish and nor did they have yellow gel polish. They told me I could just leave instead of them offering the service in another polish type besides gel. I had just gotten a pedicure! Instead of the guy having me choose my color before he started my pedicure he had me do so at the end and he wasn’t very comprehensive to my English nor did he have any solutions. I paid full price for a complete service I did not receive.

Super friendly staff. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Signed in on a kiosk, which I thought was super cool. I was immediately seen by Kim who did a great job. She was professional, made sure I was comfortable and worked fast but meticulously. Will definitely be back!!

I had my nails done here before by an older lady she did amazing. The woman I went to at counter two is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! She did my nails crooked and did not pay attention when she did my rhinestones. This place is hit or miss. She filed my nails crooked then tried to tell me they were already crooked when I went in for a fill in. That doesn’t even make sense. They weren’t crooked but even if they were witch they weren’t why didn’t she just file them so they could be straight. Then they proceeded in there language to talk trash when I washed my hands. DONT GO HERE !!!!!

Pro Nails has been the worst nail experience during my time in Tallahassee. First I went to them for my original set and I had already felt as if the technician was drilling down too much of my real nails. Once it was time for a fill, I was out of town so I proceeded to another location. The lady at this location communicated to me that my nails were very thin from the set I had on and that they may begin to crack after the fill. Well just a few days later three of my nails were cracked right across the middle, ALONG WITH MY REAL NAIL. I proceeded to Pro Nails to have them removed which I believed would be a tedious but not as painful process. The first nail tech proceeded to rip the acrylic from my real nail and pinch and pull until I was about to refuse the service. She called for help and another nail tech continued to remove my nails. There was NO SOAKING involved just physical removal. I have included a picture of the aftermath that this set has done to my nails.The professionalism is a whole different topic. NOBODY in the nail salon can properly explain the promotions that THEY send out to their customers. I received a coupon for $5 off a gel pedicure but when I arrived I was unable to use that coupon due a reason that I could not quite understand from the staff. This place does not care about the wellbeing of their customers, just the $$$. I will not be back.

I have been a client here at Pro Nails, for just under two years. My experience has always been pretty good. I loved the environment, and the customer service was nice. Sometimes the guy in the front, could come off as rude, but maybe thats just his personality.Unfortunately, today I had an experience that ill never forget. That is after they placed two people who walked in, without appointments, before me.Because I was pressed for time, I left to another nail tech. Where they told me they could not fix my nails, due to the fungi problem. which I learned occurs when you apply any chemical on ones cracked nail.Which is where Pro Nails comes into play. Nearly, two weeks ago they replaced my broken nail. I mean this nail had broke so bad, it started bleeding. Uneducated about the side effects of applying chemicals to my nail before healing. I did request for them to replace it. However, instead of warning me that replacing the broken/cracked nail would hurt; that is after I reacted to the stinging sensation. they should of educated me.Now I am dealing with this disturbing infection :(I honestly never experienced anything like it. I used to swear by them.

I’ve been here before and Mina did my nails. She did good. This last time, a guy with spiky hair did them and he was AWFUL. I got a purple color, and my nails are WHITE and purple on the edges. One of my toes had a big bump I asked him to fix, he did nothing. Their color is also not purple. Left with at least 5 nails bleeding. Awful. Gel paint on my natural nail, and get on my toes. $50 wasted.

My girlfriend has a normal spot where she has her nails done, as it is one of her favorite things to have done. She visited Pro Nails because her regular is out of town. While she was there the middle-aged man made inappropriate comments to her which made her feel uncomfortable. He then proceeded to call over another male who is similar in age to my girlfriend. They both gawked at her then spoke in a different language so that she couldn’t understand. This made her extremely uncomfortable, and she will never be returning here. Train your employees to be respectful.

I used to go to this place every two weeks. They always did a nice job but after the last encounter I will NEVER go back. I went in to get a fill and they put the young girl on my nails. I thought it was odd because Ive never seen her do hands Ive always seen her on toes and she was pretty good at it. I dont want to make this too long but moral of the story my nails looked horrible. I almost cried when I got in my car. She cut me on multiple fingers and I had about 3 different shapes. I recently got them done at a new location and when they filed off the gel polish there was FUNGUS under my nail!!! I have NEVER had this problem... ever. I dont even like to write reviews but I couldnt let this go. The older lady, the two middle aged ladies and the man that wears his hair spiked are the only ones you should go to if you do go. Not the man at the front and trust no one that normally does toes. I learned my lesson.

Kim is my favorite nail tech and is training her daughter to be great as well. Ive read a few complaints regarding the head tech...he can seem abrasive, but is actually really funny and talkative. I think it helps to be as quick witted as he is. If Kim is not in, Dennis is excellent as well. He listens to your request and gives you what you ask for. I gave this place a try a couple of weeks ago, and I was truly disappointed. My acrylic was very uneven, I had nail polish all on my skin (I was told once I wash my hands it will fade away) and the type of basic shape that I requested didnt even compare to the picture I showed.Now, Im not a very hostile and combative person, (especially with the job position that I hold) but after being tossed around like a damn baked potato (FOR NO REASON WHAT SO EVER). I decided to just pay for the service and LEAVE. I actually went to Violet Nails, you know, the one off Gaines, and I was able to have my nails AND toes fixed for half the price.One thing with Violet Nails, the prices are reasonable and they NEVER upcharge ONCE you get to the register to pay (Unlike Pro nails----such a rip-off). Never a-damn-gain.

I don’t usually take the time out of my day to write a negative comment on someone elses business, but this seems necessary after my experience. I called ahead for a simple acrylic nail removal. I just felt like it was time to let my nails breath and heal, which is my business. The staff kept insisting that I get a fill and the man was just going to do it, but that was not the reason why I wanted to go in and had to stop him. Then he was just going to pop them off without soaking them and only stopped when I told him that it was hurting me. He didn’t really seem to care about that fact, and throughout the process cut my fingers twice and then soaked them in acetone. Which let me tell you was super painful and I didn’t hide the fact that it hurt me. But, he didn’t even utter an apology, just continued like I hadn’t said anything. Then the lady in the back starts arguing with a client over the fact that her nail tech was giving her gel when she didn’t ask for it. Instead of letting it go and painting the woman’s nails, they started arguing with the poor girl and bullying her in front of everyone. Very unprofessional. At the end of the argument the girl said that she would not be returning to their place of business, and I agree. When my nail tech told me that I was done I was astonished. My nails were uneven and chipped, he had filed the whole nail for some reason and didn’t fully buff them out, and again had multiple cuts on them. I told them that the whole reason why I went there was because I thought that they would at least try to make my nails look good and healthy. But instead I was punished because I didn’t want to get them redone!?!? So I paid my bill, even gave a tip and left. But trust me, do not wast your time going there.

The guy at the front desk was very rude and mumbled about three words under his breath to me when I first walked in. I waited a long time even though I bothered to make an appointment (it doesn’t matter if you do or not they make you wait forever anyways). I got a gel manicure and the color turned from a light pink to a yellowish-white the day after I got them done. Save your time and spend your money elsewhere!

Wonderful experience! They shaped my nails perfectly and were very helpful in helping me find a perfect color! They wore masks and had a protective barrier when doing my nails :)

I always enjoy my visits. Only disappointment is that I was not able to use my birthday discount as it was only valid for one day afterward.

I CAME TO THIS NAIL SHOP OVER A WEEK AGO TO GET MY NAILS DONE FOR MY BIRTHDAY. I GOT MY NAILS DONE AND THEY LOOKED AMAZING! A WEEK LATER TWO OF MY NAILS CAME OFF AND THAN ANOTHER. AT THIS POINT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I DONT LIVE IN THE AREA AND I CAME OUT OF TOWN JUST TO GET MY NAILS DONE HERE. I CONTACTED THE STORE AND IM ASSUMING I SPOKE WITH THE OWNER AND I EXPLAIN TO HIM WHAT HAPPENED. HE ADVISED ME THAT THAT HAPPENS. NAILS COME OFF IN LESS THAN A WEEK WHICH WAS SOMETHING IVE NEVER HEARD OF BEFORE. I DISAGREE WITH HIM BUT HE INSISTED THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. I INFORM HIM THAT I DONT LIVE THERE AND THAT IT WILL BE A FEW WEEKS BEFORE I RETURN BACK. HE GOT UPSET ABOUT IT AND TOLD ME TO SEE KIM ( THE NAIL TECHNICIAN) WHO WORKED ON MY NAILS WHEN I RETURN AND THAT WILL BE THE ONLY TIME I CAN WAIT THAT LONG. IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN WHICH I THOUGHT THAT WASNT FAIR TO ME.

Too high and not very friendly

I had a relaxing experience.

The first person who worked on my nails left them very lumpy. Four other employees came over and made comments that I assume were related to the nails while laughing. I asked if they could be filed to be more smooth and without saying anything the man working on them got up and walked away. One of the men who had watched the first man paint the lumpy nails came over to fix them, saying that they were indeed very lumpy... yet they would have let me leave like that had I not complained. The entire process took 2 1/2 hours and I left very disappointed. Go to Urban Nails instead if you’re in the area!

I’ve been going to Pro Nail throughout my four years at Florida State. They aren’t expensive but have a nice atmosphere. Kevin is my nail guy (first guy at the front) and he does an outstanding job and my nails last for weeks. I’m going to be so sad when I leave Tallahassee and have to find a new salon. This place HORRIFIED ME! this is my second time having acrylic nails removed and they RUINED my nails. not the acrylic, i had the acrylic done in my previous town and i get them filled as regularly as possible and today i almost cried. I have a trouble hearing thing very well and they first just acted like i was rude and not listen so the tech and i sat in silence even when i tried to make conversation. Okay on to my visit, First he didnt soak of my acrylics, he SCRAPED THEM OFF with a cuticle clipper........ not only am i now worried about infection cuz i saw him grab it from another techs desk but when i expressed my pain he continued and ended up taking a chunk off my pink nail, a chunk off my pointer finger and one on my thumb cuticle area. After painfully scrapping off my acrylic nails (which soaking them with acetone is what i usually have done) he proceed to level out my natural nails by taking the cuticle clipper and scrapping my nail bed......... painfully leaving deeper ridges in my nail. Then i was confused that they had me pay BEFORE the completion of my appointment.......... Then he didnt use a base coat, didnt allow proper drying time in between each coat and my nails chipped the second i left the store. not only that but i was insulted because he told me he smelled a Bad smell that he was unfamiliar with when i stretch my arm up (and yes, i was wearing deodorant). i am a humble person that doesnt complain alot but never have i actually left a nail salon wanting to cry.... i came in with strong long nails under the acrylics and left with short (because after all the nail damage thats the only thing that looked good) and disgusting nails that made me want to cry. I am NEVER GOING BACK

I thought this place looked really clean, professional, and the people were extremely friendly. Had amazing service here. Unfortunately, it has been less than a week and my gel nails are already chipping... My roommate also got them done at the same time and hers are chipping already as well.

Came here to remove my dip off of my nails and the lady who took care of me was nice, but the result of my nails afterwards was not so pretty. The removal of the dip actually kind of hurt and I was a little disappointed with the service.

Went yesterday for the first time and I will NOT be returning!! This is one of those times when you wish 0 stars was an option. I went in yesterday to have my nails soaked off and everything went fine. The staff was nice and it was really clean.After I left, I noticed the next day that some of the acrylic was still on my nails and it was causing my nails to split horizontally. Went in today to ask if they could soak them longer to get off the acrylic that was remaining and I was greeted by yelling and insults. They guy at station 5 asked me questions like “do you not have a job”,”do you not have anything better to do today”, “do you not have AC at your house”.I was so taken back I didn’t know what to say. I just tried to explain to him that the acrylic he left was causing my nails to split. But he just continued to get loud, and curse at me. While all of this was happening one employee just laughed and the boss sat there as if nothing was happening.At that point I just asked for my $10 back and said I’d go somewhere else and have them soaked off properly. Once I mentioned wanting my money back that’s when the boss intervened and said since they couldn’t put my nails back on I’m not intitled to a refund, and he offered to take them off instead of the other guy. As the boss was taking them off once he realized just how much acrylic was left on he called over the guy over to show him. Once the guy that was yelling realized he messed up he then tried to apologize, but I didn’t want to hear it. There are too many other really nice and affordable salons in Tallahassee for them to feel it’s okay to talk to a customer that way. I was literally shaking during the whole thing and even now that I’ve left I’m still shaken up.

I have been going to this place for about 4-5 months now on and off. They are nice and friendly, BUT they are also RUDE when they feel like your a difficult customer or just because you ask a lot of questions as far as their pricing. Today on their website it says they close at 5, I walked in at 4:01. They werent busy at all maybe 2 customers. The guy asked me what would I like done and I told him a fill. Him and the ladies in the front(who were polishing each others nails) talk amongst each other then he tells me they are closed. I told him no you guys close at 5 and its only 4. He tells me that they are closing early and the girl in his chair was the last customer. This is not the first time they have tried me on being rude. I refuse to go back there because yes they are nice and friendly sometimes, but being nasty and rude to people who brings you service is just a no no. That doesnt get you tips by the way since they live to ask even when they are rude to you. They do great nails, but are overpriced. Back to T Nails I go.

I Really Love the fact during this Pandemic they took All precautions. Asking customers to wear MaskI recieved a Gel pedicure for $45 ( a little pricey for me) but she was a perfectionist her name was Apple ! I RECEIVED EVERY THING I ASKED FOR when it came down to my shaping and polishing. THANK YOU PRO NAILS

Beautiful place, nice staff.Manicure was ok. She focused on the nails and I didnt get any hand lotion, my cuticles werent cleaned, nothing!!AND my nails are VERY sensitive now and they hurt.nails arent even nice looking, they are rigid and lumpy.

I can’t speak for the entire salon but the man in the very front with the baldhead did my nails and I left with not only bubbles under my overlay, Which he put on extremely thick and even missed some of the edges meaning I can literally see my nail under the overlay, but bubbles in my actual polish. He shaped them terribly and they’re all different but I tried to correct him he wouldn’t listen and I also tried to tell him that they weren’t dry, mind you they were gel, and i could literally see the paint coming off my nail when i touched my palm. Spare your self and go somewhere else

I would rate a zero if I could. I just left from getting my acrylic removed and not only did she remove that she removed my real nails. Two of my nails were bleeding. There is still polish on my nails and they look destroyed. She used another nail to POP off my nails. I told her I was in pain and she continued to proceed. DO NOT GO HERE!If I knew how to attach a picture I would but I’ll save myself the embarrassment.

Dennis & Kim are both great, they’re definitely not the reason I’m giving ProNails one star. It’s the customer service from the head nail tech. He’s extremely rude, and unprofessional. Several people have made reference to finding another place to go due to the lack of professionalism. The atmosphere when you walk in the door, is almost as if you’re a burden. Which is why I found another place on Mahan, close to my place, versus driving across town to give my money to a business that blatantly shows disdain due to the color of my skin. There can’t be another reason why he acts that way, he’s never done my nails, I’ve never even had a conversation with him. It’s his mean, rude, negative energy. Kim also works at Nail City, does an amazing job, and she’s genuinely friendly. I will never go back to ProNails, customer service is equally as important as quality when operating a business, and he is driving people away from his own business. Do not spend your money here.

This has always been one of the worse nail salons in Tallahassee, took a leap in hopes things had Changed in the last 13 years since my last visit. Had my nails done on Saturday and it is now Wednesday and I don’t have a single nail on. Waste of money and time...you could not pay me to have my nails done here again.

This was my first time at Pro nails and I would definitely consider using them again. There was no wait time because they had multiple techs and its a good location for me. LeAnn helped me today and did an awesome job.

I went there yesterday and based on such a high rate google reviews what Ive been expected was to come out of this salon feeling like WOW!!! But my experience was totally different.The gentleman who welcomed us was really nice, but the lady who did my nail job was not friendly at all. At the entrance we asked about the price and they said for a new whole set it will be 25 with regular nail color! While she was filing my nails, she asked about the size that I like, I said short but a little bit longer of my own nails. So she started to place the nail extensions and after sticking them with glue she asked about the size again before cutting them. Again I told her short but a little bit longer of my own nails, which were 1 mm (0.04 inches). She informed me if I want longer than my own nails it will be $30. So I said Ok go ahead with my own nail size. She started nagging continuously that if you wanted your own nail size why didnt you tell me earlier!!! That way I didnt need to waste my extensions and I would just use the powder and liquid. I was like I told you at the begging and she kept on nagging that Ive wasted these and it was unnecessary so I said OK charge me $30! She said no not this time but make sure next time that you came in dont make us to use our extensions unnecessarily. And now that I look my nails,they are really thick and unnatural and she placed them a little upper than normal so that it grows faster and make me go back to fill them sooner. At the end stages of her work she damaged my little finger with her electric nail file which led to bleeding my finger and again she started nagging that this is because you didnt tell me you want short nails and I was about to separate the glue from your skin that this happened. So she apologized but kept on nagging. Meanwhile she did her best to convince me getting a Gel-color and forcing me to choose Gel which was more expensive and she gave me hard time about it. I had a friend with me who worked with another gentleman and her nails were longer and more natural than mine and she still payed $25 and no force for using Gel-color, no damage to her finger or any other issue.All n all I may go back to this salon but will never work with that lady again!

Went in today. There was no wait, they were very friendly, everything was clean and the environment was very pleasing. The service was great, the lady did not seemed rushed as is common in many salons and I was pleased with her work. Price was $40 for a mani pedi without asking for any upgrades and I was offered a complementary beverage. I was very happy and will definitely return. In regard to prior comments about cuts and bad application of nail polish I very strongly disagree and this was not the case with my visit.

The females seem annoyed. I came here with my mom and the female doing my nails had a cold and even though she had a face mask on she coughed and not once turned her head. She snatched on my hands and dug the instruments into my skin. I wont be returning . The men nail techs are much better.

Upon arrival there were 3 other parties ahead of me. The nail technician and greeter (bald head) told me the wait would be a few minutes . I knew this was a stretch in truth considering the small amount of staff working was occupied and/or just starting to assist their clients. After a 35 minute wait my turn arrived and the nail technician and greeter (bald head) directed me to his station. I went for a fill in. Previously, the same nail technician worked on me and I hated the job so I was hoping I didn’t get him again. Since the lady I favored was busy however, I settled for him after taking in account the time I’d already wasted. This nail technician pressed too hard on my nail beds, wouldn’t get close to my cuticle (to the point it looked like my nails were NOT new), and when I asked him to shed off some of the extra bulk near my cuticles so it could at least look natural he rolled his eyes, breathed heavily, and aggravatedly and rudely shouted “$10!” So.. I took my nail polish and walked out. The entire time at his station was a terrible experience. I never had a nail technician give so many excuses to why they can’t do something the customer requested. When asking if he could do my nails the way I wanted them; nearly all of his responses were: “I don’t do that.” Thanks to the bald head guy, Pro Nails can consider me as a client extinct. When I retrieve his name I will share.

I got gel nails here for my first time, the guy that did them did not talk at all. 2 of my nails are different sizes. My friend got hers done here to and there were alot of air bubbles in 3 of her nails. I wish they could have done better.

Wait takes a bit longer on the weekend but worth it for the service and quality !

Never had a bad experience and Kim and her family are the best quality in all of Tallahassee. I come all the time and bring my family as well. Kind, courteous, and always service with a smile. The prices are also very reasonable and tons of parking and resturants nearby if you get hungry.

I got acrylic done here for the first time I ever, and I am pretty impressed. I asked for really short nails as I am a newbie to nail-life and he gave a length that was short enough for me but was also long enough to look polished and nice. The acrylic cost $40 and I did tip as well. The guy who did my nails wasnt super talkative but I understand this was probably so he could focus better. I want to give 4 stars/3.5 because it overall does look nice but I dont think the manicure was perfectly executed. I dont know what is normal for people that get acrylics, but for example on my pinky nail, he didnt completely wipe off excess polish so there is a tiny blob that dried weird. Just looking at my nails, they look fine but it is the small details that land this review at 3 stars. Once again, i think they deserve like a 3.5 and not just a plain 3.Edit: I am realizing that he didnt measure both hands the same so I see that each pinky, etc, doesnt line up in height. Also, I think he filed my acrylic to far back as my nails already look hella grown out after 3 days. I have been seeing other friends acrylics and I have been noticing more detail in their nails and paid the same at other places. I also think he could have better painted the tips of my nails. I wanted to include the edit because if you are new to fake nails, like me, you might be happy with the result at first but then notice all of the flaws later. Being new doesnt mean you deserve less quality!

Emilia, the Nail Technician, did an excellent job with my Gel manicure and pedicure...However, the price of $55 was a bit much...I guess you pay for quality nail services...

Terrible customer service. Prepare to be cussed out if there is an issue with your nails. Guy at station 5 is so rude.
