Beautiful well trained and maintained horses the price is better then Ive ever found. Today was my first time ever riding and it was awesome. Thanks to the professional amazing people on the ranch that take their time to train these beautiful animals. So we can have a peaceful safe ride and create a special memory. Highly recommend this place

So unprofessional. My husband and I had a ride scheduled today for our anniversary at 11:30am and we were unable to make it due to FSU road blocks and the route to get there. We reached out to see if we could reschedule and/or receive a refund, HOWEVER the person responded was rude and not understanding at all. They are quick to not be flexible with you. It is not our fault that FSU blocks roads on the way to them! Maybe they should also let people know about this before they schedule AND we just moved here, so we are unfamiliar with the area. Also, I’m sure they’ll respond here to let us know that these guidelines are on their website, but they won’t hesitate to take your money and not allow you to reschedule for another day.

I have ridden many many trail rides in my life, in several states and farms, the normal nose to tail, stay in line, horse knows exactly what to do and doesnt veer away from the trail.... This is NOT that experience! They offered to trot, they offered to gallop! No.pressure to do so but allowed if thats what u wanted and could handle! We did the 11 mile trail and it was naturally beautiful and the horse were sure footed, well trained and had individual personalities! This was such a great experience! It was soooooo amazing one time and exactly what I have been hoping for every trail ride. I finally found this place! I live in South Florida and this trail ride with worth the 5 hour road trip!

Had a blast, Grim (the horse I rode) was awesome and our guide was very informative and personable. Will definitely be back and highly recommend anyone else looking for an amazing horseback riding experience to check them out. All at a great price

Best experience and fun for all ages. My daughter and I spent part of mommy daughter weekend on a peaceful horseback ride. She loved it so much she’s now enrolled into their summer camp program.

I never thought riding a horse while theyre walking would be so much fun! The hosts were super nice, and one of them were giving us a history on each of our horses and the stuff they do there. It is really wholesome and I highly recommend this experience!

First time being on a ranch and getting the experience. It was such a beautiful and fun ride . I rode Grimson, my buddy rode Ms. Prissy . Both horses are beautiful and the owners do a great job of taking care of these beautiful animals . Our tour guide was amazing with blue cool hair and so knowledgeable about the horses . I can’t wait to come back to this ranch.

My son just had the best experience possible today on his first trail ride and we couldnt be happier with Crazy 8! Great job choosing the perfect mount for him. He came back beaming and full of enthusiasm and new confidence, and of course begging to come back. Given this experience, were going to book our next ride right away and we look forward to more wonderful experiences with such amazing people and horses! Thank you, thank you for giving him such an amazing introduction to the world of horses! A+++++ and then some.

My friend and I came here today and had the greatest time. We did the 2 mi trail and it was the smoothest and most relaxing thing Ive done during COVID. Stormie and Cruzan, our rescues horses today had such personalities and it truly made the experience more fun. They are so well taken care of and loved. I cant wait to come back!! Definitely the best place for horseback riding in Tallahassee.

Parked our RV in the field for a few nights and had a great time. Awesome people and the horse ride was awesome. Great being able to freely interact with the other animals!

Had a great time riding through the Apalachicola Forest. The folks there were very nice and the animals seemed happy and well taken care of. Also got to see newborn piglets, which was a plus!

On Sunday, March 21, 2021, my family and I visited this ranch. Shantel was one of the individuals who guided us on our one hour horseback walking tour. Shantels personality was very straightforward and honest. She is a younger lady and was very informative about the ranch and each horse. I had the opportunity to ride the horse named Freedom. I never rode a horse before and Im sure Freedom knew that. I was left way behind due to my lack of experience, however Shantel talked and guided me patiently. I had scheduled another horseback tour for Sunday, April 4th, however their online form allowed me to schedule a tour on Easter Sunday, but unfortunately the ranch was closed. The ranch contacted me in advance and offered to reschedule or to give a refund. I chose a refund, but I plan to book another horseback guided tour soon!

We had a great experience camping there. You can make reservations on Hipcamp. You are allowed to interact with the animals and can schedule a ride if you wish.

We were very please with the horse riding we did with Crazy 8 Ranch. We call late in the day with the idea to horse riding. We were a group of 6 and they accommodated us without a problem in the afternoon. They were very nice and it was very pleasant. Highly recommended!!! Great experience!

I highly recommend this place. The staff was wonderful and very understanding when I brought my new dog, even helped me with a few tricks to calm her while around the horses. They were also amazing with teaching my 2 children how to ride the horses. My son is 4 and he has adhd, I was afraid he wouldn’t pick up the lesson but he got it and it was thanks to the women with them. I will be going there again.

Such a cute little place. Many rescued horses which makes it even better. The ladies are extremely accommodating and nice. They even offer later rides when it’s not so hot out! Thanks Jamie for a relaxing ride :)

This place is wonderful. Not only do they rescue horses; they offer rides and theyve been around for a long time (open to the public for about 7 years from what Im told). The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, and entertaining on the rides. The horses are very well taken care of, and it shows. The horses are very well trained and have excellent temperaments. Come find out for yourself! You wont regret it!

Horses are very well trained and loving. I’ve always had positive encounters with the owner and all the other staff members as well. This place will always be my escape from real life problems.

I talked to the owner the night before. She was able to get us on a ride at 9:30 AM the next day. The ranch is easy to find. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The horses are very well cared for. We only went on a one hour ride this time due to my exchange student has never ridden before.She offers 1 hour, 2 hour and even longer trail rides. All riders from experiences to new are welcome. I can not wait to go back and ride again!

What an amazing place. The horses are happy and well cared for. Some are rescue and have been given a second chance. I fed the horses carrots and got to meet them. I look forward to coming back and riding. Overall it is an amazing place. It feels really great to visit a ranch where animals are truly cared for and loved.
