Easily the best gym in Tallahassee!! The owners are some of the nicest, most sincere people Ive met. They truly care about you and helping you achieve your goals! Any piece of equipment you could need is there, the atmosphere is amazing, the gym members are all like family and help each other learn and grow everyday! To top it all off the the price is unbeatable for a 24-hour power-lifting gym! Honestly, cant think of a single bad thing to say about this place, go try it out once and youll be blown away!
I enjoy how close it is to my home. The environment is positive with friendly people attending the gym in the a.m. hours. So far, I like this place and it fulfills my exercise needs.

Fuel Fitness is a very well-equipped, clean, and well maintained gym in the northern part of Tallahassee. Staff are very friendly while maintaining orderness in the facility. Monthly rates are reasonable which includes gym classes for those looking for a good workout experience.

I just recently moved to Florida, and I started attending Fuel Fitness. This place is God sent. They start you with a meal plan based on your Fitness level. They coach, motivate, and get you the results that you desire. The staff here are very friendly and informative, but when it time to work out they mean business. I would recommend this facility to anyone wanting to change their body, and get better knowledge on nutrition.💯👊💪🔥
The workouts are killer and the atmosphere is amazing! The group really pushes you to go just a little bit further. The staff is also great and is there to help you no matter what. I lost 9 pounds in just the first week with just their 30 min workouts and the meal plans!! I had to stop my 6 week challenge due to health reasons and I am bummed because I know that if i would have stuck with it I would have gotten to the goal!! I will be back and highly recommend this place!!!!!
The Fuel Fitness 6-week challenge was awesome and I was glad that I was able to participate in it. The guided workouts are exactly what I needed because when I wanted to give up they were there to push me to my limit. There is a community feel there where you are connected on Facebook and you even receive text msgs to keep you on track. I have noticed that since doing the challenge I have had more energy and been able to sleep a lot better. I also loved using the tools given to me like the recipes for the meal plan and healthy alternatives to eat with your food. By me following the program and doing the workouts I was able to lose 20 lbs! It was great! I am sad that I have to end it now, but I do plan on joining the boot camp permanently soon. I encourage anyone who wants to lose weight and change your life to try this 6-week challenge or Fuel Fitness Boot Camp period.

This place is awesome! All of the trainers were great, and never ‘take a day off’. They are fresh, energetic, and motivating from the time you open the door to when you leave. They push you to reach YOUR goals. The staff is kind and gets to know their members. You owe it to yourself to try, especially if you have weight to lose.I was down 26 pounds from my 6 week challenge. I am down to 265 and feel great. I usually wear a 4x but can now wear a 2x! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Fuel Fitness. The work out schedule fit with my work schedule which made things a lot easier. Mr. Enthusiastic (James) is very knowledgeable and a great instructor/coach as well as all the other coaches. The meal plan was a big adjustment for me; however, with all of the materials and guidance everything went smoothly. I was able to surpass my goal during my 6-week challenge and I am excited for what the future has in store. This is only the beginning!
When I decided to lose weight, I found Fuel Fitness Boot Camp, and it was the best decision iv ever done. The staff makes you feel at home, They are very pleasant and have created an atmosphere where everyone is motivated. The results of weight lost and getting fit are achieved week by week. The exercises were so effective, I had never seen results so quickly. The coaches are very attentive during the session making sure that you do the exercises well and without hurt yourself. Every day I go I try to push myself harder; and the trainer helps me achieve my goals. I am very happy with the results and I recommend it to anyone who wants to lose weight and get fit. It is an all age programs.

I found Fuel at a really low point in my life. I had gained a large amount of weight due to two abusive relationships and the depression that came with them, I was always tired, and I had no confidence in who I was anymore. Ive always had issues with feeling like I belonged at a gym, but as soon as I walked in the doors, it felt like Id come home. This gym is unlike any Ive ever tried before. The trainers and owners are amazing and are really invested in making sure youre doing well and reaching your goals. The trainers were understanding of my goals and my limitations and pushed me to be my best. I just finished a six week challenge, and I lost 24lbs in 42 days. The meal plans are easy to follow, and the workouts are fun and challenging, no two are the same!
Wow!! I have just finished the 6 Week Challenge, lost 18 lbs., what an amazing journey it was!! Working out at least 3 times a week, for me I did 6 times a week (just my personal preference) following the meal plan, and being accountable. The bootcamp workouts are intense, but full of positive encouragement, a coach/trainer there with you throughout the entire workout motivating you and instructing proper technique. Im so glad to have found Fuel Fitness and excited to say this isnt the end of my journey, its just the beginning!! I have enjoyed not only the weight loss, but feeling stronger, having more energy, sleeping better, and eating healthier. Fuel fitness is an amazing workout! Each day of the week focuses on a different area of the body and leaves you feeling more energized and stronger than when you walked in. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel at home from the very first day. The challenge IS POSSIBLE!! If you push yourself and stay true to your workouts and diets you can even surpass your goal within 6 weeks. I lost 22 pounds in 6 weeks and enjoyed every second of it!! If you’re dedicated and motivated it is most definitely worth it!
Such a great gym! The classes are great for anyone getting into fitness or conditioning! I would and have recommended them to anyone abs everyone Ive come across! The coaches are great!!! The schedule is so accommodating! The meal plan is easy to follow, just stay disciplined and youll see results! I worried I wouldnt make my goal and I did, the day of! Dont worry, just trust it! When I started coming to Fuel Fitness 6 weeks ago I walked in hesitant that I would be able to complete the challenge let alone make it through the classes. After meeting James I felt motivated and empowered to take charge of my health and change my lifestyle completely. When I came in for my first workout I was welcomed like I was part of the family and didn’t feel like the odd ball because the group is so diverse there is people of all ages, sizes, color, and ability. I won’t lie the 3 days after my first workout I was so so sore, you never realize how many muscles you use to get up or down on the toilet until then lol. I kept pushing and eventually everything just became easier and so natural. I ended up becoming addicted to working out there you come in ready to kick butt and you know you will leave there exhausted but so accomplished feeling. All of the coaches there are AMAZING to say the least and they are there to guide you and push you every step of the way. The nutritional information and meal plan is so easy to follow as well. I have tried just about every “diet” out there and nothing ever worked for me but with this isn’t a diet it’s a lifestyle change. The 6 week challenge was just a start for me and in those short 6 weeks I lost 28lbs! I truly can’t say enough great things about Fuel Fitness. If you are ready for a change and you’re ready to break the cycle give Fuel Fitness your 100% and I promise you will achieve your goals!!
After watching a friend’s success at Fuel, 6weeks ago I jumped in with both feet and decided it was time to make a change in my life. I am so glad I did! Not only did I get to work out with great people, I had good support from the trainers who text to check up on you or send you messages congratulating you on your successes. They taught me the importance of meal planning from purchasing groceries for the week to planning what to take to work for long shifts. Thanks Fuel!
Okay so I love this place. I needed to really be pushed to reach my goals and the trainers really do it here. They care about your form and have a schedule that can fit anyone. The training sessions really work you but the results are amazing!
Wow, I just did my last weigh in and finished the 7 week challenge. Throughout this whole process I was motivated the entire time thanks to the awesome trainers. I was given a goal to lose 20 lbs and 6% body fat, at first I was not expecting to reach that goal and it seemed impossible. 20 lbs is alot of weight, but my last weigh in today I was down 19 lbs and lost 7% body fat. I could not believe it, I am so happy with the results I was able to achieve. This challenge gives you a meal plan, personal trainers, awesome workouts and the motivation you need to reach your goal. I loved every day and every workout throughout this 6 weeks. It goes to show with motivation, eating right, great workout plan and hard work it is possible to reach your goals.

The coaches are all there to help you with whatever you need. Workouts are 30 minutes long and can be modified for any level. I highly recommend giving fuel fitness a shot!
I want to say thanks to the fuel fitness boot camp challenge for giving me what I needed. I wanted change and I got it. Not one person can fail with the team here. I was given all the tools needed to succeed, now it was on me. The staff was more than helpful. They gave great support, motivation and courage to press on. (Thanks) The meal prep was easy and there was always a lot of options, did not have to eat the same thing over and over. The recipes are easy to prepare and delicious. The fuelers will not let you give up on you, trust me I wanted this but sometimes I wanted to lay on the floor and cry. But they were there to help lead and guide me along. I love the new found love i have for me and foods. Thank you fuel fitness I will be back.

Great place to work out in a group setting! James McQueen and Yashika Cherry are awesome coaches who push you and get you to your next level of fitness. And the camaraderie among the participants is wonderful. I definitely recommend this gym to anyone who is serious about their health and wellness. They also have kickboxing and yoga, too.
After 6 weeks of circuit training, meal prepping, and eating healthy (super deliciously btw) I LOST 20 LBS, 238 to 218! The 6 Week Boot Camp Challenge works, and Im a living proof of it. It honestly was a CHALLENGE, and thats what makes it so much more rewarding in the end. The trainers are extremely encouraging and also hold you accountable if you try to take short cuts during your workout. The personal attention and ongoing motivation definitely makes it easy to come back. Also, they have an excellent Yoga class, so there really is something for every mood that you may be in. Fuel Fitness is amazing! I came in so skeptical of the six-week challenge but decided to try it anyways because I was desperate to get back into shape. I have tried other boot camp styles gym’s and nothing had worked before. After 6 weeks, I am down almost 15lbs and 5% in Body fat! Fuel Fitness works because of ACCOUNTABILITY. Through the six-week challenge there are weekly weigh ins and accountability coaches that cheer you on and make sure you are reaching for your goals. They are not only holding you accountable in the gym but outside as well. I was given a meal plan to help me work on nutrition outside of the boot camp style workouts. The coaches Cherry, Amber, and James are amazing and always push you to do your best. I have always gravitated towards lower weights because I never believed I was strong enough, but the trainers have pushed me and helped me get to where I never thought I’d be. I am so excited to continue to improve my whole self at Fuel Fitness for as long as I am a resident here in Tallahassee.

I just finished my 6 week challenge and I highly recommend Fuel Fitness. I lost 23 lbs and 4% body fat. The coaches are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to the workouts. James does a great job explaining the meal plan, and it really works if you stick to it and make the commitment.
Im a law student so I was a little worried that I wouldnt have time for the workouts at Fuel, but thats the beautiful thing about it: the workouts are only 30 minutes long and they always kick your butt as long as you put into it what you want out of it!I was having discipline and diet issues before fuel, but with the motivating coaches and the personalized diet plan, I was able to turn that around and really make progress!! You really can lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks with these guys if you stick to the plan!
Fuel Fitness was perfect for me! The location and times of the classes fit well around my work schedule. I attended Yashika Cherry’s classes and she pushed & encouraged me to do more every day. It was her enthusiasm and the great meal plans that helped me loose 11 lbs in 3 weeks!
Tryston Cole Perez was an amazing help with my individual experience at Fuel. Without his upbeat personality and personal attention my review would be greatly diminished. If youre looking for a complete lifestyle change, this is the place for you. I just finished their 6-week challenge and feel better than ever, not to mention lighter than ever. I was able to lose 26 lbs. & 4% body fat within those 6 weeks. The team here provides you with exactly what to eat, & group session workouts that are constantly changing. Everyone is doing the same thing that I am, so I don’t feel intimidated at all, as oppose to chain-gyms where I don’t feel comfortable what so ever on the floor. I don’t think I ever did the same workout the entire 6-weeks. I would not have been able to do this without the coaches and the team that James has working with him. The culture is by far one of the most welcoming & motivating. Also, the coaches are always ready to push you to your limits, are very knowledgeable, and kind. In my never ending search to find a way to finally get healthy and loose weight (permanently) I stumbled upon a 6 week challenge at Fuel Fitness. It peaked my interest because I have seen the transformations of several people on. Face Book. I signed up and gave it my all...with the coaches amazing work outs and encouragement I lost 24 lbs! I have never worked out like this... ever....in my life....I have had a few knee surgeries and still have a tear in my ACL along with a spinal fusion in my lower back. The coaches were able to show me modifications to some of the exercises that I could do.....I say that to say this.....dont let ANYTHING keep you from trying and achieving a healthier you....I could not have done it without the awesome Fuel Fitness team!!!!

I started my health journey with Fuel Fitness Boot Camp 6 weeks ago. It had been about 7 years since I had worked out and made my health a priority. Ive been a member of a gym before, but without an accountability partner and a plan from a personal trainer, you can get lost quick. Ive also had the privilege of a personal trainer before, my brother Jess Ruis. I had great success with him.So I knew that this is what I needed to move forward. I discovered Fuel Fitness as I was scrolling on FB. So I scheduled an appointment and meet James, the owner. During my interview, James asked, Whats your motivation? And I responded, I want energy to be able to do with things my family, my mind to be sharp, and to be able to fit into my pants. Thats what is motivating me.I left my interview with the support and accountability in place that I needed: a meal plan, access to the boot camp, and weighing in/body fat check every Monday. This was the recipe for my success. I addition to all these things, James would also call and check on me through the process, congratulating me when I beat the scale each week.So what were the results of my relationship with Fuel Fitness? I lost 21.8 lbs. and dropped 4.1% body fat. Was it magic? No. But the relationship with Fuel Fitness and the determination of my will created a path to achieve the results I was looking for. Now, moving forward, Fuel Fitness is going to be part of my journey. If you are ready to make a change and become healthy, make Fuel Fitness a part of your plan.

I was referred here by a friend who had been asking me for months to come to the gym with her. I was hesitant but after I seen the post on the 6 Week Bootcamp Challenge I decided now was my time. I went in and talked with James and decided I would give this a shot. I have always wanted to try an intense work out routine and this was the place. I told James I had been doing Keto for the past 4 months and wanted to stick to that diet and he was able to find me a Keto based meal plan which worked perfectly. The first work out kicked my butt! I wont lie, I couldnt walk right for a week and the thought of steps (much less a simple sidewalk curb) had me trying to find every ramp I could find lol. However, I continued on my journey and went to the gym at least 3 times a week making sure i was getting in a leg day, arm day, and core/ab day. By the end of the challenge I was no longer sore and in pain but rather sore and strong! This gym has been a life saver. I have so much more energy. I met my goals for this challenge and am excited to set new goals and continue on my fitness journey. I canceled my prior gym membership for Fuel Fitness!That how valuable Fuel Fitness came to be for me only after 6 weeks. I initially found Fuel Fitness and signed up for their 6-week boot camp challenge through Facebook. At the start I was a bit overwhelmed, as I’ve never participated in a body challenge or even a group workout class. That quickly changed, their staff is very welcoming and friendly, and everyone is always encouraging. I really like how each workout session is fast and invigorating, and none of them are exactly the same which makes each one refreshing and even more challenging on the body.They have lots of trainers all who I feel have a special attribute and quality they add to their specific workouts. The trainers are very focus on the members throughout the work out. They quickly learned my strengths and weakness, adjusting the workout as needed but still making it a challenge. In the middle of my workouts, they would often trade out a lower weight I was using for a heavier weight. I didn’t like this at all at first, but then I got stronger and eventually I was already challenging myself with heavier weights. I often have the worst time with form, so the trainer would jump in front of me and do the exercise for me to imitate and correct what I was doing wrong. I appreciate this the most because form is crucial for targeting the right muscles and preventing injuries!The meal plan and grocery list Fuel Fitness created is perhaps the biggest takeaway! I truly learned how to shred properly! They are very informed on how to maintain a healthy nutritional diet. I didn’t know certain vegetables actually contributes to my body fat. Fuel Fitness broke down exactly how much and specified exactly what carbs, fats, protein, fruit, and veggies I should have per meal. The already have the meals portioned off for your body type and body goals so there is no need to count calories!!I lost 16lbs from 180lbs to 164lbs, and 5.6 body fat % from 22.2BF% to 17.6BF% throughout the 6 week boot camp challenge! The change in my body’s physical appearance was the biggest motivation for me to keep going even after the challenge. I’ve never lost so much body fat so quickly. With their meal plan and the boot camp style exercises they truly know how to target just the body fat!I initially only signed up for the 6 week challenge with Fuel Fitness, so since I wasn’t a full member, once the 6th week ended so did my membership. Throughout the 7th week I quickly grew to miss their workouts, and overall encouraging atmosphere of Fuel Fitness. Everyone is there for the same goal. I already had a membership at a regular gym and decided to cancel it for Fuel Fitness. Fuel Fitness is overall just very positive and motivating with people always giving high fives, and its only 30 minutes of my day! Which is perfect before or after work or great just relive stress. I couldn’t resist staying with them, I highly encourage you to give Fuel Fitness a test run or at least join a challenge like I did!If you really want results, you won’t regret it!
I started Fuel 6 weeks after I had my third child. I was determine to lose that baby weight just as I hoped to do with the other 2. In the past I would go to a gym but it would not last long. I was always intimidated and lost because I didnt know what to do or where to start. At Fuel the trainers gave me that guidance as well as the encouragement I needed. They were willing to make modifications when needed (I have diastasis recti) but also pushed me if I ever tried to let up when they knew I could give it even just a little more. A month later, I am down to prepregnancy weight and wearing my prepregnancy clothes. Fuel has been such a great experience that I now look forward to working out everyday. So, even though I have achieved one goal, I have officially set a new one to be better, more fit, and healthier. Im so thankful to be apart of the Fuel community because I know that the trainers will continue to push me, helping me get to where I need to be.
Today was the final weigh in day at Fuel Fitness Boot Camp Community for the six week boot camp challenge. Im happy to say that I lost a total of 12 pounds in six weeks and I will continue on my fitness journey for life. Its not finished with me and frankly, it will be something Ill work on for-eva. Ive been on the yo-yo train since I was a freshmen in college - I can clearly see my patterns and know what works and what doesnt work for me. And Ive lost and gained the same 20 pounds for the past three years - yikes. Now, the trick is sprinkling fun food experiences in with the usual weekly menu. What does me in is bread, cheese, alcohol and crappy relationships - imagine that! All things food related that anyone would be crazy not to want - like daily sometimes. But, I get instant bloat. No joke, I can and have gained 13 pounds in one weekend eating and drinking that stuff - and it takes weeks to get it back off.As the owner of Fuel Fit and I were talking after my weight in I shared with him what I used to say to my weight loss clients back in the day: when you go to the store to buy dog food, pick up a back that weighs what you just lost and walk around with that for a bit! Thatll bring perspective.The irony of choosing this journey is that life has a way of throwing challenges you just dont anticipate along the way, but everybody knows its going to rain, we just havent gotten really good at predicting when and how much. Thankfully, even with a knee thats decided to act up, a sprained ankle and sickness along the way, I remained committed. The staff at Fuel was fantastic at following up every week to check on me - and I appreciated that. Their team of trainers are fun, energetic and motivating, and no they dont just do bootie camps, they also have yoga - yay for yoga!If youre ready to take your life back and thrive, I encourage you to do the work.
