5 Star Transmission Shop. On our Vacation Trip our transmission went out on Interstate 10.Local people recommend Tallahassee Transmission Shop. Even wrecker driver says the are TOP NOTCH. We had it towed to Tallahassee Transmission & They completely rebuilt our Trailblazer Tranny & Sent us back out to our Vacation Trip with record speed. I strongly Recommend Tallahassee Transmission Shop to Everyone. Price was average in comparison. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They are truely proud Professional Technicians. I would give 10 stars if possible😀😀😀

My 2003 Dodge Dakota 4x4 was having trouble shifting into third. After taking it to another transmission shop, who said There is nothing wrong with it, it may be electrical, I took it to Tallahassee Transmission. Mr. Denby was very thorough and has the latest computer diagnostic software. He noticed that the gear ratio was wrong for both 3rd and 4th gear. He called me back and stated that third gear was not even in the transmission and that it needed a full rebuild. He quoted me a competitive price along with industry standards and asked what I wanted to do. I asked him to move forward with the work. It took a few days, but I got the truck back and it drives like it is brand new. He guaranteed the work for 1 year or 12000 miles which ever comes first and told me if I have any trouble with it to bring it back and he will make sure it gets corrected. Tallahassee Transmission will always be my first choice from now on and I would recommend them to anyone who needs transmission work done. It is not surprising he has been doing business in Tallahassee the past 40 years. His customer service is top notch.

Me and my sister had our transmission service and we havent had any problems. And he gave us some really good advice on how a transmission suppose to be service.

They wont fix your problem they will just put a bandaid on it and call it a day. My tire fell off while I was going down the road because they decided not to put the bolt back in

Got my F150 fixed here a couple of months ago. They did good work in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price. Highly recommend them!

Got my car towed there he checked out the transmission said it needed to be rebuilt. I didnt go through with it because the car wasnt worth it but he didnt charge me a dime and was really friendly. Seems like a man that has been doing this the right way for a long time.

Took in my 2001 Acura TL with 360,000 miles on it. My transmission was slipping when hot and would not go into gear. Acuras and hondas in this year have a documented transmission flaw where they overheat and they were recalled. Tallahassee Transmission knew exactly the problem, how to fix it from occurring again and even had the published Honda documents on the wall to show me. out the door with new transmission mounts and a complete rebuild for $1,900.

Although, they couldnt help me, I strongly recommend this place. I love the over-the-phone assistance that I did receive.
